I wish I found this place sooner. Its a little hidden gem located on the other side of the freeway. Staff is very kind from the moment you walk through the door to the moment you pick up your order. I specifically like the food here because it is well portioned and healthy. Even though I get bacon with my sandwich, I dont get it dripping with grease. Thats a plus! I recommend the Ham Turkey sandwich with sprouts. I also recommend that you get that with their homemade Potato salad.

I just had what I believe to be the best tuna melt Ive ever had. Staff is extremely friendly, potato salad is great and I will 100% be coming back to try their other sandwiches.

We were driving through and decided to stop at this lovely sandwich shop. Everything was so delicious and filling! The customer service was amazing!!! The bathroom was spotless. If you’re on the fence about stopping in just do it! Your stomach and taste buds won’t regret it!

My husband and I have tried this sandwich shop twice since we moved to the desert. The first time our sandwiches were very good and very reasonable nice amount of meat fresh bread and very pleasant people. And the second time we ordered their bacon lettuce tomato avocado sandwich very disappointed the bacon is so so thin it adds no flavor the avocado was cut very very thin and the tomato very very thin pretty disappointed in it not sure if well be back

Decided to try somewhere not fast food when driving by and this one popped up on Google maps. I love a good sandwich so I stopped in. Menu is simple and concise: Meats, cheese and bread options. No crazy specials or weird sauces. Very friendly and quick, remembered my name through the whole visit and made sure I enjoyed it. Basically like having lunch at Grandmas house. Great place, simple and good sandwich.

Top notch joint. I ordered their pastrami sandwich (our way) on rye and a caesar salad, it was delicious. Quality of ingredients were top tier and fresh. Portions were perfect. They offered soda in a can (my preference). Customer service with a smile. And finally, the shop was well kept and clean with sanitizer available for customer use.

Let’s start this review by saying the customer care is at a high 10 and the environment is so welcoming. Now for the food this has to be one of the best sandwiches I have had in a while.

My wife took to this place, and man Im glad she did. I got a Reuben sandwich and some meatball soup. Both were damn good 👌 specially the soup 🍲, it was delicious. I wished Ive had got the big portion instead of small 😒.The customer service is outstanding. Very helpful staff, very friendly as well . We were greeted as soon as we walked inside and it was the gal at the register the one that recommend the soup 👍, thanks. I will definitely stop by again .

This is a fantastic fresh sandwich deli! We visited from Seattle, WA and stopped here for a quick bite. Everything is made fresh and we fell in love with this spot. Highly recommend this place. The staff and owners are very welcoming! You can sit outside with your pups!

Hands down a fantastic sandwich shop. Chefs recommendation of the turkey bacon avocado, on the roll, just slightly warmed up...ooooh so good. 10/10 will always eat here when in the area for work.

I decided to try The Brown Bag because of their reviews. I am so glad I did! I got the hot pastrami and the pasta salad on the side and it was delicious! Best pastrami and pasta salad I have had! I will definitely be returning very soon! The staff was also very nice and had great recommendations.

The Brown Bag is a sandwich deli in a sort of industrial area in Palm Desert. It might not be a typical location for a sandwich shop, but their food is delicious! I tried their pastrami sandwich, with a side of macaroni salad. The macaroni salad wasnt necessarily anything spectacular, but the pastrami sandwich was excellent. The Brown Bag uses Boars Head meats and cheeses, which is a plus. Service is quite good and personal as well! The inside is on the smaller side (I counted maybe about 3-4 tables inside). This place seems to be fairly popular in the area, as there was a steady stream of customers during lunch. If I make it to the Palm Desert area again anytime soon, I would visit this place again. I highly recommend this place if youre looking for a sandwich shop in the area.

What a fantastic little deli!! The gals running it are as friendly as can be and they make a mean sandwich!! The Italian combo was delicious and the prices was perfect. Definitely worth a stop if you are in Palm Desert!!

Had the pastrami sandwich how we make it and it was one the best Ive had, simple but good. They do use good quality meats and you can taste it. Heard another customer compliment on the home made brownies, later another customer bought out the remaining 3 brownies.

Great little shop, with fresh sandwiches, make sure to try their dill cucumbers. They have homemade iced tea. I tried the Turkey on toasted sourdough. And the veggie on toasted sourdough. I would make them a regular eating spot if I lived there.
