Very helpful! They were extremely patient and helpful. They were not able to order the part for our door latch because the company is out of business and their catalog showed no replacement. They recommended a lock shop who had it!

Worst service sales guy is lazy and rude only reason this place is still in business because customer have no choice in that area feel sorry for owner

I have used this place several times and have always had excellent service and followup. Nice to work with sales associates that know what they are talking about! Additionally, my french doors were custom made with better quality than what Home Depot had do offer for the same price, which where cheep off the self doors. I cant add any comments to installation, since I did that myself. The delivery was however prompt and friendly service as well.

Very helpful, I ordered a kitchen Garden window. They were up front and said that it would be 2 to 6 weeks and it came in two and a half weeks. That made me very happy. Very good service.

These guys are great, I ran short of molding on a job in la Quinta, I showed up first thing next day, they got me the molding I needed and got me out of there quick . I highly recommend this store as a contractor ( C. Thomas Remodeling ) and as a homeowner . Thanks for your help !

My only experience with Palm Desert Door and Hardware was anything but worth it. I have a client that has an older home and the door hardware is all Omnia and most of it worn, so the handles sag.I looked for the nearest Omnia dealer and Palm Desert Door and Hardware were the closest.When I can in, I told the guy behind the counter that these were at least 20 years old and showed him the worn part. He looked up a “replacement” and ordered it. Or so I thought. When I called back he had no idea what I was talking about. Then I get a call about a week later than I was expecting the part, (for which I had to pay $21 in shipping!) saying it was in. I go to pick it up and then install it only to find that it’s not the correct part. I go back. This time talking to the woman behind the counter. She assured me that she’ll get to the bottom of the mistake and will call the supplier and get back to me the next day. Several days later I call and they are confused as to what I’m talking about. So I got back for a third time. This time she has no clue and says I need to talk to the expert, which is, you guessed it, the first guy. Of course he acts like this is all new and news to him. So after about 40 minutes of both of them looking through the book the first guy already ordered from......they ask me to keep the old and new and that they’ll call Italy and get an answer.Several days later I call to get an upsate and speak to first guy, who has no clue what’s going on and says the woman is on vacation and left him no instruction. So he tells me to check back the next day. I waited 3 days and went in. He was still clueless and then found a note on my parts. It said that the latch I was trying to replace was 20 years old (as I had told him the FIRST TIME), and couldn’t be replaced.So I asked for my money back. He had the nerve to tell me that since the part had already been shipped, that he couldn’t refund the shipping. I was blown away and just said, “wow, guess I’ll have to backcharge my customer.” Which I haven’t done because that would be wrong. Instead I ate the shipping cost of a WRONG PART. He then had to go ask his manager if they were going to charge a restocking fee.A restocking fee!??? On a wrong part???He came out and said the manager was taking care of it for my trouble.My trouble was coming to these people in the first place. Clueless and have zero accountability for their mistake.So I paid to ship a wrong part and ended up with nothing.Do not go to Palm Desert Door and Hardware if you do not know what EXACTLY it is you need. They will order the wrong stuff and you’ll pay for it.Makes zero sense.In fact, don’t waste your time there. All in all, I wasted about 4 hours that can’t be billed back to the customer.Thanks for (LITERALLY) nothing Palm Desert Door and Hardware!!!!!!
