Just a heads up but contrary to what the website says masks are not required by employees, nor customers. There is a sign on the door about the size of a notebook paper that says masks are optional, giving the customers a last minute heads up after they already parked and walked to the door.Other than that, the store was clean and a manager was helpful enough, the cashier seemed put of by my presence but I didnt need her to be my friend just take my money so i could leave as fast as possible.The reason for the two stars is because I think someomes word should be good when they run a business but that may just be my age talking.

Always find what I am looking for at this ace . And I discovered that this ace has many hard to find filters for air handlers or air conditioners. They also have a large assortment of poo-pourri products and sprays that I must buy often because my girlfriend Michelle has stankbutt .

I wanted to give a HUGE thank you to Brandon!! My Grandma stopped in earlier this week to buy some seeds after going to the bank. The bank envelope has fallen out of her purse and she has lost all the cash she had just withdrawn. Thanks to Brandon, being such a wonderful person, he saw the envelope of cash and gave it to his manager. Not only did he make sure the money was in a safe place, he and the manager actually looked up my grandmas address, by her rewards card and were going to hand deliver it back to her. You literally made my Grandmas whole week by your honesty and kindness💗🙏🏻.

All Ace Hardwares are better than the big/box stores. This is one of the better one’s. They actually deliver (locally) free. Great service, and their delivery guy is great !

I shop this store often. Always treated with friendly help. I stopped in to buy a surtan product, and they didnt have it. So they got on the computer. And they found it at another completely different store for meAa Ace

Very good, both service and food. I was shown to a seat, waited on quickly, and professionally, by a a smoking hot waitress whose name escapes me. As Ive mentioned before I take pictures of the ice in my Coke and turn them into pictures using my Android.

Kevin is highly unprofessional . Customer service should not be his profession, especially if he doesn’t know how to treat people with dignity and respect. He enjoys to single people out by their race / skin color and accuses them of “shop lifting” . Rather then taking accountability for his actions he battles back and forth making the situation worse.

I purchased some items at a different ace. The other ace was 45 minutes away. Kevin and the owner of this ace (who refused to come out and speak to me but did come out to check to see if it was raining and then got very argumentative) would not refund the full amount I paid. They told me to go back to the other ace It was $1.50. Yes. They made a big deal over $1.50. I guess they needed it more then me.Just remember Home Depot is 5-10 minutes awayIf you can’t do that. Make sure you return to the same ace

I love ace hardware. Being a new widow and trying to fix things on my own can be hard. But with ace hardware, they have helped me in every way. Even building my I can do it confidence.

This is a great Ace hardware I dont get up this way much anymore but Im glad I stopped in I had a coupon and the honored it and also had some caulk and some other items on sale their brand is actually. High quality.

Prices are the highest of any hardware store, the service is mostly from condescending, grouchy old men. The layout of the store is weird and uncomfortable. The clienteles average age is death plus 20 so be careful driving around that parking lot. The selection however is great. They do pack a lot of stuff in that place. This is the last place I go when I need something from a hardware store. The place is situated in a fairly quiet shopping center with weird entrances and lousy signage. Its right off of US19 and Alderman so its convenient, at least.

When we had questions about products we were helped a lot by employees. However when it came time to pay some of our articles did not have a price and we were told to go find out the price. The employees would not do it. The last I heard the employees are supposed to find out prices not the customers.

I went in a month or so back and the cashier Gina was very helpful. Everyone in the store tries to assist you and normally with a good attitude. I went in with a photo of a flashlight and she brought me right to it, easy and carefree experience.

Our local hardware store is convenient and well stocked. Its handy when we need something right away. Coupons in the mail help reduce the cost, and by being a member of the rewards club, we usually earn a $5 cash back coupon twice a year. The staff is helpful and cordial. The one product my husband cannot live without? Dots Pretzels. They are pricey, but they are excellent.

Bought a defective wrench at the Ace in Dunedin, came here to return. They wont accept returns from other stores, WTH. These stores are a blast from the past. The registers arent even linked to HQ. I typically find Ace is 20%-30% higher in price than everyone else. I will give them credit, as they are much more organized than Home Depot but cant compete with price or selection. But Lowes is better than all.

The level of product knowledge and assistance was remarkable. Not having to search for someone to ask questions (just so they could get on a radio and ask for someone else)was refreshing. Thanks hardware folks.

Stopped in for traeger pellets and the employees were wearing traeger/ace hardware shirts and I made the comment I wanted one and the awesome people gave me one! I will always stop here for my pellets when Im in the area.

Best place in town to shop

A very creepy shopping experience. As a paying customer I felt unwelcome. The manager stands around hovering around issues that dont concern management. The store is small and I was asked. Are you all right ? Well I was waiting to buy something. The overall tone just felt disingenuous.

Went 20 minutes out of my way to pick up an in stock item that I purchased online. Got there and was told to always call ahead to check if an item is actually in stock. So apparently, inventory management isnt a thing at this store.

Cold, arrogant did not engage asked for owner when they came it was total attitude and chip on their shoulder. Very defensive I had bought a $5 mini flashlight and the thing exploded in a matter of 2 weeks right in my hands when I pushed the on button. All I wanted to do was exchange it for a new one its not like I asked for my money back. The first words out of the owners mouth was how do I know you did not abuse this item? you kidding me $5 really. I gave him the exploded flashlight and walked out the door never looking over my shoulder again. I asked you was it really worth the $5 or exchanging a flashlight to receive a negative rating on the internet? must be Canadian no offense to make Canadian friends however really....I spend avg $2,000 a month in stores just like this for business. I will drive past just so they dont make a cent off of me. If I could have scored them negative stars I would have just saying.Do yourself a favor drive past it the negativity you can literally feel in that store. Maybe it was the employees that were walking around on eggshells fearing to lose their job if they sneezed.Every facility goes as the management or ownership goes it starts at the top.... negativity breeds negativity. Ace will never ever again be my place as I did not find any helpful hardware man/woman.

My go to place for any household need. Great staff willing to spend time to guide you. Large staff, ready to help. I check here first before shopping anywhere else.

I was there 9/13/19 around 830am. A older guy helped me with finding screws. He knew exactly what I was looking for and the young girl at the register was pretty cool n nice

I got a great deal on mulch for $2.57 a bag for red mulch. Other things can be pricier but it has a good choice of stuff for a little store.

So helpful and great customer service. I needed 14 keys made, I know it takes time, but they were happy to help. It began to storm horribly, and the employees were so nice and even helped my baby stay entertained.

Went to three other hardware type stores for a specific hex screw and they were the only ones who had it. When I needed a very specific bolt for one of my guitars I brought it there and even though they didnt have it, they were able to go online and find the part so I could order it. Who does that? Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. If I buy the wrong part they always take it back as a return without issue. Theyve gotten me out of many jambs when I lost or broke an important piece of hardware. Thanks guys!

I went here to get some plexiglass to temporarily fix the back window of my car. The staff here came together like a team to not only answer my questions but to come up with a better idea and a cheaper alternative! These guys were amazing and so fast! I was really impressed and will be a life long customer!

Terrible... guy was rude and unhelpful I see why only a few even exist craftsman warranty only a few things if the number matches will not be back the only 1 was nice was the cashier also the 2 bolts I needed 3.00 each hyundai sells for .75 cant see this place lasting

These guys are great and extremely accommodating!! Where do I start??So it was just about closing time at Tarpon Ace 10 minutes till to be exact and I was In A real crunch with an exterior paint job on house for one of my customers! Long story short one of my employees was to pick up paint earlier in the day and drop it at site so we could start early morning.. He had an emergency couldnt get to the store for us so I had picked up the task! Told tarpon store my issue, even the manager told me to come back tomorrow, they were closing the doors five minutes early to be exact... Very rude too.. So I called Palm Harbor store got the paint department stayed open for me for 45 minutes when you didnt have to..to me thats some of the best customer service that you dont see around anymore big big thanks to you guys!! I understand when your clothes your clothes but I couldve done without the attitude!! The only reason Im leaving the review is because Ive spent thousands of dollars at Tarpons Ace!! Customer loyalty seems to be a thing of the past These days!!

Brought paint in to get color match. Got home and my sample was not closed and leaked into the bag. The paint I bought did not match my sample. Brought the paint back and they were not very helpful. Got a refund but the experience was not good.

Not a large ACE hardware but it has most of the every day items needed. Staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of parking space as it is in a small mall.

I found what I needed. Then proceeded to wait in line behind one guy. A manager(I think) was also standing there just staring at me and another associate behind the second register. I apparently there was an inventory issue with a product they sold. They were so consumed by this issue that they could not even acknowledge that I was there. I came from retail and know inventory is a tedious thing but I would be damned if I didnt take care of the customer first.
