As we entered the Panama City Big Lots, a female Cashier was at the entrance smoking a cigarette. We entered the Store and there wasnt any Store Employees at any of the checkout registers nor in the front. We shopped and went to checkout...that same female Employee checked us out. She informed us that she is a new Employee upon her lack to answer a question about store return policy. The Employee was somewhat polite. The issue is the smoking a cigarette at the entrance. Customers that have medical respiratory issues are at risk, also second-hand smoke is unhealthy and Customers that do not smoke do not desire to be attacked by cigarette smoke at the Store entrance especially by an Employee. Hoping Management will correct this issue. Working publicly requires humility and dedication.

Placed an order on a sofa and put 10% down, specifically asked if we changed our minds because of the 2 month wait could we get our money back and agent said yes.We decided not to wait so we went back to cancel the order and some bearded guy told us he was charging us 5$ to cancel so I got upset and he began telling me to shut up.Here is a guy threatening to steal 5$ (small amount but the principal matters) from me and thinks he has the right to tell me to shut up?Never setting foot in Big Lots ever again!!!

You can always count on finding something super cool that you never knew existed and you cant live without! Of course there is always the everyday basic necessities: food, laundry detergent, toiletries, lawn care essential items, toys, & clothes; that are always nicely stocked and the awesome collection of new Broyhill furniture in neat little rows. Oh yeah.... And let us not forget about the staff... Always helpful and always smiling, willing to go above & beyond! (I saved the best for last, cuz You guys rock!)

I bought Ensure drinks that were over 2 months out of date and it made both myself and my boyfriend sick. Why are there products on their shelves this far out of date?? All I can say is thank goodness it didnt happen to an elderly or sick person or it couldve really hurt them!

This place is awesome they have a big selection fairly reasonable with their prices but I found out they do not take food stamps I dont know why but they dont.

Well, we went to look an ending up spending $170. They have excellent deals on just about everything!

Went in there today,to get futon mattress and frame the lady that was working in the furniture department was extremely rude. I asked the guy that was working in furniture if they had any futon mattress and he said he would check then this lady i guess she thought she was a manager came up screaming at me that he is about to clock out and she is busy right now that she will help me when she gets to me. I dont know how someone can talk to people like that and still have a job.

Gave me the wrong furniture.The manager got a very nasty attitude. Talking about rules well the employees should be trained the right way first off and than we can talk about rules. If the employees don’t know that means the management staff ain’t training them right. This big lots in Panama City really do need to rethink management positions on the real I bet it was the other way it wouldn’t be a problem.

Went into Big Lots this evening at around 8:30 PM. When I finally decided on my purchase no one was willing to help. Shayna said her back was hurting and couldn’t help and the Manager Candi had already gone to the office to count the cash. No one was willing to help. We offered to wait and they still refused to help. I’m not sure what this world is coming to but I can assure you if this were my store they would both be looking for a new place of employment.

Prices were higher than I remembered. Havent shipped there in a couple of years because I am partially disabled. They dont have electric carts. I purchased one recently so I was looking for a cabinet for my kitchen. They did not have any, but I bought a couple plant pots.

My favorite store!!! A must visit!!! They always have great seasonal items, furniture, clothes, and kitchen items!

Went there for specific items and found them. They are doing a seasonal changeover so some stock is low. Some unique products but I find they are overpriced on any food items you might come across.

Store was well stocked! Went in to find white bowls and found several other kitchen items to purchase. Bowls were on sale, buy one and get 50 percent off the second! Lots of Christmas decorations out!

Walmart is cheaper anymore on most stuff. Rarely shop here and mostly walk out empty handed

Spent 30 minutes in Big lots before they closed and I went to the front to get help and check out. As I stood there the cashier spoke over the loud speaker and said bring all items to the front for purchase due to closing. I asked to purchase a chair and the manager Candi told me she was counting the store’s money and her arm hurt so she couldn’t help me. I offered to help move the chair and then she said she could not help me because she had her till money out all over the office. It seems to me she would wait until the store was closed before she counted the money. The manager was just too lazy to help!!!!

I gave 2 stars to be generous. Ive been trying to buy something for the longest time, everytime I enter the store there is NO SALES REPRESENTATIVE to assist me. Literally none! They are grossly understaffed. Like 2 or 3 persons only. The problem is NONE are available. Its not like I see them assisting other customers. Nope! The two star is only because Andrew (I think that was his name) the cashier tried to call a guy who was standing in the section to find out if what I wanted was in stock. The guy was on the phone he also couldnt attend to me. Crazy. Begging to spend my money. P.S. I visited 3 times.

Good old Big Lots is a staple. With Covid-19 quarantine and social distancing making it difficult for any retail therapy, at least theres Big Lots. This store was practically destroyed like the rest of Panama City Square because of Hurricane Michael. It has bounced back beautifully and I think it is one of the best Big Lots in area.

Nice place with great prices. Well, the prices are hit and miss. You can find great deals there and the sales they have are hard to beat. They have nice furniture and beds as well. They also do a leasing option I believe. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I lost my new cell phone there and after talking with one person it was back in my hands in mins. You can even get nice outdoor pools for the summer time. Great family place and is a (BIG) LOT(S) bigger inside than it looks.

Still havent found an overhead storage unit for the toilet.

Today I was looking for sale?water for my sister (2/$5) 24 bottles. They had the sale item plus I found a seasonal gift pillow on sale and an assortment of Hot Wheelsfor my Grandson. Normally my husband and I find snacks there too at reasonable prices.

Literally the worst customer service and staff. Dont let these other reviews fool you, they are probably fake. There was a guy working on the floor who flat out walked away from me while I was trying to ask him to sell me a couch, I went to the front and asked if someone would help me. I waited for ten minutes, during which I talked to other customers who couldnt believe the service there. One person came in to cancel an order he made bc the service is so bad. Terrible, terrible service, I will not return and would not recommend.

I love this place. The other Big Lots Ive been in any other cities and states should strive to measure up to this one. They are clean and well-organized and the staff is friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Ive been in several times and the six weeks Ive been here, the merchandise for the most part is good quality and reasonably priced and the staff well-trained. My only complaint on my last visit was the cashier spent several minutes chatting with the customer in front of me and since I was in a really big hurry I was a bit annoyed. It is fine to be friendly and make the customers feel welcome but when you see someone standing there waiting, tapping their foot, ask her if you may finish the conversation later and move on to the next customer. But, they get five stars.

I bought 4 System Build bookcases from their Panama City store. Great price and the sales associates were awesome. (and I put them together myself) They are very sturdy!

Associates were fabulous. Variety and prices are not what they used to be. Kind of a let down really.

Very friendly people I went in about a month ago for the first time since I noticed they reopened all their summer was 50% off I ended up coming back the next week getting 2 pools and numerous supplies the pools salwas one for $54 or the bigger wons went up but it was perfect I got one for my son and one for my fish 😊
