Frustrating and disgusting. Disgusting because apparently they tolerate their employees walking around and helping customers with no shoes on. See photos.Frustrating because I came in with an online return, followed the instructions in the email, so I went to customer service, and immediately the girl took one look at my items and told me I had to go back to electronics. When I went back to electronics, they told me they couldnt help me because it was an online order and I needed to go back to customer service. So because the girl customer service could not be bothered to even see that I was returning an online order, for which I had the sheet already printed, I ended up waiting line three times. Simply to do a return.
Its Walmart. Always busy and people seem to discard all social graces when they enter the lmao e parking lot and store. As far as the store, its decently clean as far as Walmarts go. Its a full size store not a small neighborhood format. Steer clear of the produce and Walmart brands/no name brands and youll be fine.
There was a man in the store following me. He kept telling me not to buy items, or to put things back on the shelf. In one aisle he was practically hollering at me to put back a coffee cup. Something about we have too many. Nobody came to shut him up or remove him to better my shopping experience.
Stopped by the Papillion store this evening to get stocked up on our Keto friendly products. I snapped some shots for fun. They took out all the cashiers at this location and made it very Covid friendly. Camera monitors have been attached for catching all the kleptomaniacs. lol. So be sure to scan all your items, Big Brother is watching 👀.
Good prices. Not always top of the line sales help. Popular place so waiting for check out can be a bit of a challenge. Selection and value, make a trip here worth it.
Rode in handicap cart was worn out fun. Lol
As Walmarts go, this is an exceptional location. The store is clean with spacious aisles and well stocked inventory. The employees are courteous and attentive. I would definitely shop here again.
Chris Zheng was one of the most helpful employees i have ever encountered. He directed my needs in a welcoming and enjoyable way. I will definitely be returning more often hoping for the same experience from Chris and others! Definitely deserves a raise!
They are finally getting a bit more organized. Lets hope it stays that way for a while. It would be nice if they extended their hrs a bit longer.
Employees there at 128th & L Street are friendly, hard working. I dont like how everything is moved around, should have kept the departments the way they were. I like the paint, makes it brighter, looks bigger, new bathrooms are awesome.
Not only had to shop I had to ring myself out Come on people Go back to cashiers ringing you out and bag for you
Just like every other Wal Mart youve ever been to. If you dont mind hundreds of people around you that dont care about anybody else but themselves, then youll be comfortable here. For me, I try to stay away from Wal Mart stores.
Its Walmart.... not overly happy to see them cutting their labor by going all self-check. I wasnt properly trained or paid to operate the register😐.
Did a grocery pick up. Dude that loaded my grociers had to he told three times that I wanted them in the back (which was opened for him). He then loaded a broken bottle of detergent on its side which leaked all over other groceries, some of my person items, and the back of my vehicle. Contacted Walmary and they have pretty much blown me off.
The remodel to 90% or so self checkouts is weird... They have 3-4 associates watching a group of 10 or so self checkouts telling you when one was open (most people have eyes and can see this for themselves). And then they have 3-4 associates at the door checking receipts. This seems really stupid!!! Probably employing the same amount of people as if they had actual checkouts but managed to slow down the process and make it more frustrating to get out of the store quickly...Great job Walmart.....NOT!!!
I feel so overwhelmed when I go to this location. I was excited to see all self checkouts because thats what I like to do anyway and it looks very nice! But..... the store has gone DOWN HILL after they reset there store. Its a complete mess!! Toy section.. dont even go there. So many theft packages hiding on back of shelves. Definitely need to hire more employees to make sure the store is clean. I usually go there all the time but definitely will start going somewhere else soon.
When they are the only place in town that has what you need, then they are the best. Not crazy about the crowd but sometimes you have to do what you have to do.
This location is never too crowded ad I can get in and out fast. With self checkout I really dont deal with the employees.
Ive tbis place close to my house great produce
Store was clean and aisles were all easily accessible. The only thing was the only checkouts that were open were self checkouts, and not everyone wants to have to scan their items their selves but other than that it was good
Location not as nice as in the past. Shelves often empty, normally only two checkouts open and lines at the self check. Have waited as long as eight minutes for a CSM when buying alcohol, and Im 78 so patience is not my forte. Have moved small purchases to a different chain with better stock and service.
Lousy selections and no assisted checkout. My brother has cognitive issues and this shopping trip was his for him by him. His understanding of the self checkout is sketchy and it made it difficult. I wont be using this location again if I can avoid it.
Love Walmart. They have moved alot of things around in the store so its going to take time to get used to
Almost ALL Walmarts are consistence . We love it when we can shop and park our 18 wheeler without facing a parking ticket. Which I think is wrong. Illinois in Romeroville, is the worst. Most drivers spend MONEY, then get a parking ticket Wrong. Love Sidney Ne and Barstow CA They are awesome. We spend a hell of a lot here just because they Do Allow Semis.
Had a new battery installed. Great price! Great service!
Worst experience ever. Especially with a general manager Sue. I Was returning some clothes. When I originally purchased they were ringing up the wrong price so they were voided and put on for the right price. They ended up not fitting right and had to be returned. With returning these items Sue and Becky automatically assumed I stole them and insisted that I can not have the clothing items backs. Instead of looking at the receipt more closely to see what was done. On top of that they did not apologize for assuming I stole nor for being incredibly rude. I felt so embarrassed and my mind is blown on how a manager talked to me like that. On top of this I called this walmart to talk to the manager and Sue answered the phone and proceeded to argue with me saying she was not rude and did not assume I was stealing and when I asked for her name she originally refused to give me her name saying she did not have to give me her name. I know this post is probably annoying and long but its the fact that a MANAGER talked and treated me this way.
Quick in and out with plenty of self checkout lanes to keep people moving in and out quickly.
I’ve avoided Walmart altogether, ever since the pandemic started, just knowing how many people shop there. Over the past two years, I’ve purchased items here and there, online, that I’ve picked up outside of their store, and the items were good. But, after making my first trip into the store, to shop for school supplies, I remembered why I stopped shopping there in the first place. The store was an absolute disaster!! It literally looked as if a tornado had just gone through the store….and not just the school supply aisles.. it was everywhere! They were nearly out of every item I was looking for, nothing was in the correct place on the shelves, and the employees had no interest in offering any help as to where things were located. Walmart may have some good deals, especially when it comes to school supplies, holiday deals, etc., but, it will never be worth my time to shop inside one of their stores again, or at least not anytime soon.
The store overall is good. But I have stopped shopping here/Walmarts for everyday shopping because I hate the fact they make the customer self-check. I have only been to a Walmart a handful of times in the past couple of years because they started doing this at multiple stores. The majority of visits were this year to look at the garden center a few times.
Wonderful news! You dont have to scan your purchases. Like at
Great location. Great variety. Courteous associates.
Very professional. I felt welcomed employees went above and beyond. Thank you very much.
Can always find what you need in grocery. I do wish they carried a larger selection of plus size clothes
Got an email and a txt stating my order was ready for pick up. When I arrived it was not.
All the back to school supplies where in one area and had everything we needed!
I utilized the tire center, which went without a glitch! Haha
Had everything I needed and loved the big new self checkout got in and out fast and even remembered about the old Walmarts when I used to get good service today was one of those days thank you papillon location
Remodeling the store. All registers self ck. Neat and clean. Just learning the new location of where items are..
The name says it all - avoid at all costs. Wall to wall garbage in a consumers wasteland. Where corporate greed and apathy merge for a uniquely terrible experience.
I will not be returning to Walmart. You are taking away jobs with all self check-out. You dont pay me to check out my groceries. I can see having a mix of those that want to check out themselves and those that prefer to keep jobs and get cashier assistance. I hope more people stop shopping at Walmart.
We buy a lot of our personal products here but not so happy about having to do our own checking and sacking. Disabled and its wears me out!
Hate going in there now. Rearranging pretty much the entire store and all self check outs. When I have $300 worth of stuff in my full cart I do not want to self check!!!!
I love this location. It’s a one-stop shop :) Associates are friendly and store is very clean.
Got virus booster vaccine. Very good experience.
Different state. Great same store with everything you need
Plenty of shopping with fast friendly service. Eye clinic has friendly service and excellent doctor..
After shopping for a cart load of groceries, I realized that the store no longer provides checkout services for customers. Lack of this service forces customers to self- checkout, whether we want to or not. It’s not an issue of being capable of self-checking, it’s an issue of choice. The lack of customer-focus by the store manager is appalling! I won’t shop at Walmart again!!
Hate the self check out!!!! Was in the store 90 minutes to only spend $120. Stood on line 20 minutes before I could even get to a self check register. Prices may be good but what a pain in the caboose.
Walmart constantly dropping products from their inventory. It seems like their shells are always empty from things that I need. And now they expect the customer to do their own check out while they raise prices and cut jobs. Oh hell no.
I am only writing this review because I really want someone to realize that having only self checkout makes it hard for people to go to this store. I like the selection at this Walmart. I even like the produce. But if I am buying 100 items, it takes soooo long for me to do self checkout, plus Walmart usually loses money from me because there’s usually 5 items or so that are problematic for me so I just don’t buy them. Someone who is trained can 1. Put multiple of the same items all at once (I have to do them one by one) and 2. Deal with any bar code problems that arise. (I usually have to get help anyway for this or just leave the item behind). Today there were 21 people in line, 4 workers directing traffic. I bet those people could have just checked us all out much faster. Please change this, Walmart. If I have my kids with me, I don’t even try to come to this store.
Be ready to find lots of empty shelves and to ring up your own purchases as they have gone to an all self check model. As for me I have decided to shop elsewhere even if it costs a little more.
Was trying to find one of those power strip/extension cords that are like 10 ft and have 3 slots and was asking where to find it and the employee just answered hardware department (which we were already next to, so I thought he’d mention an isle).I wanted to get a 10 dollar family meal but all but one option has macaroni, which they seem to be out of most of the time and they don’t allow substitutes, so the guy seemed to be saying I could only get the chicken tender option. Also, I wish they had chorizo flavored turkey sausage, but they just have this sort of chorizo that has so much fat that when you put it in a pan it turns into little bits of meet floating in a fat broth
They have been working on renovations and it is coming out very nicely.
Good Walmart, plenty of motorised carts for the elderly
All I went in there was for ice nothing more it was boring.
I was in this store today to purchase a bike for my son and to make a very long story short.. I have never had better customer service at a Walmart in my life. The customer service area made our day. They truly went above and beyond for my son. Thank you.
Very clean store, well stocked. Just have a problem with all the self checkouts.
72nd location can never find some things because they out of stock or just plain not on the shelves.
This is one of decent supercenter in Omaha, better than the rest of the Supercenter in Omaha.
Only self checkout, are you kidding me. Never going back, I dont work for Walmart why should I check out my own stuff. Disappointing
Little chaotic. Lots of people. Had to chase employees down to ask questions but they did their best to get me the answers
Not too crowded. Clean. Well stocked shelves. Found everything we wanted.Too bad not 1 single employee wanted to respond to multiple requests for assistance from more than 6 employees by at least 8 adult customers who needed to purchase items from their locked liquor section. I left with everything but the liquor on my shopping list.We called the store, no one answered at all. We pushed the button asking for assistance in the aisle. We walked around and found employees working in the nearby areas and asked for assistance. After waiting for a very long time, more than 30 minutes, we gave up.At the register, we were told a manager was supposed to have the keys; that the manager who usually had them wasnt working that day; they didnt know when they would be back; and they were unaware of anyone filling in during their absence.I wonder how much they lost in liquor sales over the time this manager was absent? We bought our liquor elsewhere.
Its fast the self check up but i like it interacción with a cashier
My favorite place to go for groceries and sometimes things for the house.
Shelves were looking bare in a few aisles but not bad. In and out pretty quick.
I used to like this store but I will not work for free for a large corporation. They have the self check out and I would of left mu cart and left but my husband was with me and did not let me. This is tha last time I will go to this store and if all tje wallmarts switch then I will just go to a diferant grocery store like bakers or nuestra familia.
Attention worldwide lets break this down fast and hard.As a undercover reporter I take my job extremely seriously including when I have a blind wife. But this Walmart blows it out of the water and stands its ground with 100% extremely perfection not only they care about customers but they go the extra mile for the ones who are disabled they always have the electric carts charger and ready to go plus they have extras just incase. If they see somome needing help all the employees at this location take the time to ask hi how are you?Is there anything I can do to help?Would you like me to help you? This is so awsome when I am on this side of town I love it when I tell my wife we are coming to this Walmart and she gets so excited whats even the best of the best is that when she comes in with me everyone remember her and other customers someone remember the names of people like my wife and just to see hear smile and laugh and say thank you and even get a huge hug from management or a employee that makes her world like going to Disney worldWay to go on carrying about the ADA people and going the extra mile
I was accused of not scanning an item at self checkout which I know I had scanned. I understand the reason They want to hawk self checkout but They should open more lanes with actual cashiers to checkout larger purchases so honest people are not accused of stealing a $3.88 shirt! Shame on Wal-Mart!!
I just dont like that they dont send all they sell and dumb me doesnt see it says they dont deliver that item and i order it LoL their Great!
Shelves disorganized. Prices dont line up with a lot of their products makes it hard to shop when everything is scattered on the shelves. Stockers need to do better
Went To Walmart Saturday May 15,2021 No Cashiers it’s now all self checkout. You Do not pay me to do your work! Those who have a cart full of Food and paper products It Takes forever to go through it all. Making people wait in line is crazy! Walmart you lost a customer! That’s for sure. Shame on you!!!
Walmart is mostly Walmart but this one has great employees. Love to know what the renovation is for though 🤔
Quick and easy, had what I wanted and out the door in 10mins
Its Walmart. Not a lot of stock in mens area. Several ares where clothes scattewd on the floor
They have changed everything and all self check. Big Mistake! If I have to scan and bag everything myself, I am far less likely to buy much.
Way too long the lines at self checkout because no cashiers are working regular checkouts theyre all standing around in the self-checkout aisle to help you do their job
The staff was helpful and they had the product I was looking for. It is nice being able to go in and easily find someone there ready to help.
I dont mind self checkout if its well-planned but Papillions set- up is not working. The circular option is too confusing and takes up way too much space. The reconfiguration of the rest of the store doesnt work, the aisles are too narrow and its too boxy.
Its walmart! Why are you looking at reviews?!Yes! scalpers swindle goods straight from their trucks Fast & Furious style.Yes! Their produce is either fully stocked or non existent, no in-between.Yes! They are constantly installing things by the front doors because, why not?
Another well stocked Walmart
Well, today was quite the show. Apparently they had people call in but still had people standing around while only ONE manned checkout (and she deserves 5 stars for her personality and performance, a very nice lady) while her millennial cohorts stood around and watched the self checkouts get backed up....managers need to stand up and get them to helping people not just standing around talking. Ol Sam has gotta be rolling in his grave.
I dont like the fact that its ALL self check out. Thats terrible. How bout customers who are nit able to do that.
Will shop at this Walmart again. Worth the drive. Other Walmarts should take note. REALLY
Doing our weekly grocery shopping trip I may be the odd one out but I dont believe in online shopping thats all that was in the store I prefer to pick out my own fruits my own Meats in my own brands then we look for a register thats opened and of course not one is open early Sunday morning 10 and then we find out Walmart is switching over to know employee run registers they will all be self-checkouts first of all who wants to link a bank account to someone as big as Walmart they took away our savings catcher now theyre taking away our cashiers this will not change unless everybody please be heard people
Big parking lot.
They are resetting a lot of the store for seasonal, so a lot of empty shelves and blocked aisles.
One Walmart seems to be the same as the others. It had what we needed.
Wal-Mart prices are getting too high. I just call in what i want to buy & never leave my house. Wal-Mart used to be a trusted name for low prices & quality items. We ALL took a hit with corona virus. Wal-Mart should have been there & still be for us citizens. Instead they went the corporate gouging way.. Im very disappointed in them so now we shop there once every 2-3 weeks only for essentials.which may now change to Bakers
Dregs of society. Yes I shop here.
Didnt hardly find anything we were looking for and the self checkout machine was giving us problems so we had to get everything rechecked out which took about an extra 20 minutes.
Be prepared to ring up your own items. All cashier tills have been removed and are replaced with self check out stations.
Shelves need stocked. Not enough workers as usual at this store. Product in boxes in the middle of the isles. Walmart DC cannot keep up with the loads from North Platte as usual. Very sad shape.
Associates are rude not customer service friendly. Will not shop this location again unless extreme circumstances
The papillon Walmart is huge. The walking isnt bad, but the organization in toys... The puzzles even though labeled in one area are all over in mixed brands. Huge store, very few cashiers as always. And little floor associates to help.
Very good. Go early as is it fills up fast.
