Ok, so Tesla is supposed to be a great brand. My Tesla is a great car but that doesn’t mean that its service and showroom are great… not in the least. As a customer I didn’t feel welcomed, I didn’t know what to do, the explanation I got from the technicians was poor (D+) at best, the place is a dump, the bathroom wasn’t even clean! For God sake you expect high quality at every level. Customers shouldn’t be treated like this!!

Took Delivery of my 21 Model 3 from this location around 4 months ago. My car was fully charged and ready to go when picking up. I assume they knew I was coming from Maine and thats why they charged the car to 100% for me. Car was in perfect shape and all predelivery tasks preformed by tesla was 100% good to go. When I picked my car up, the showroom was closed so they had a QR code posted on the window and then someone came outside a few minutes later, met up with me, talked for a little and gave me the key to check the interior of the car out and make sure everything was good to go. I wish I remembered the guys name that handled my delivery. Best possible outcome I could have asked for! Thank you Tesla Paramus. (They even paid for my rental car to travel from Maine to NJ when I asked about it!)

Absolute worst experience at this location!! Go to any other Tesla location for a better experience. Staff was not helpful. Very much had the attitude that they didn’t care if you were happy because they could easily sell the vehicle to someone else. Most disappointed in a Tesla rep named Lewis who made promises about repairing damage to a new vehicle. These promises were not only not delivered. He didn’t even call the morning of pick-up to let us know it couldn’t be done. Worst experience ever!!!

This Tesla service center is excellent! I had an issue where I couldnt wait for the mobile appointment. I showed up here unannounced and they looked at my car immediately. Diagnosed it as a part under warranty and promised to have it fixed the Monday following the noon Saturday that I dropped off the car. I have always had a great experience at this SC!

My service today was impeccable and I watched multiple other clients, in the short time that I was there, receive same. If you dont have a TESLA,, get one and go here for service and sanity.

I am a very proud and happy Tesla owner. I bought a model Y from Tesla about a year ago. I introduced the vehicle to my father and we left today in hopes of coming back with a pre-order for one. There were several sales representatives sitting together and chatting amongst themselves without attending us. Until one finally came, his main focus was to give us a list of information regarding the vehicle without even letting my father sit inside or do a test drive for the model he wanted. We still love the brand but will not purchase the vehicle from this dealer. If you want to purchase a vehicle and want a great customer experience, do not come here.

Went for my first Tesla test drive today, checking out the Model Y. The staff was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly.The experience was not like your typical car dealership where folks might be a bit more aggressive and pushy. I felt comfortable as a female driver looking to purchase my very first vehicle fully on my own.The test drive included just myself and my significant other, and a test drive route was preconfigured into the navigation system for us, which took the stress out of figuring out where to go on route 17.Like many car dealerships right now, cars are hard to come by, and ordering now means your car will probably not be ready until December, but since Im not in a real rush and still have a car, Im not concerned.Really great experience! Ordering is done all online on the website, which you can do in the showroom or in the comfort of your own home.

This place was so much more energetic than a typical dealer ship. I was at a few before Tesla but this place was so packed. It was like being at an Apple store. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They give you access to all the vehicles, you do have to schedule a test drive. Overall you can do the ordering online but come here if you really want to see the cars before you buy.

The customer service at the service center is abhorrent. Recently had such a disappointing experience where the service agent and manager were condescending, had no ability to listen to concerns, and fixed NEITHER warranty issue that the car was brought in for. Skip this service center if you want to be treated with respect and have your car’s issues appropriately addressed.

Horrible experience. Went in to test drive a Y but was met with a smug salesperson who simply said no cars were available. He offered no viable alternative to help us learn more about the car (albeit I did do my research online). In fact, as my wife and I walked around the lot looking at other customers Teslas the sales person seemed to be making fun of us along with another salesperson.Ultimately, were likely going to still buy the car but Tesla does themselves no favors by keeping around horrible sales staff.Avoid this place like the plague.

Very good experience to fix a few minute problems with delivery. They replaced a damaged headrest quickly and then scheduled me for mobile service for the item they could but fix right away. They have a very large and nice waiting area and service was quick. My service rep was also very good and kept us updated every step of the way.

Horrible customer service! Don’t go there expecting anything. You won’t get a test drive until weeks if not months out. No cars are available to sell either. Waste of time! And why would I give my hard earned money to Elon when he wants to get rid of Unions?? No thanks! I’ll wait for another company to try out an electric vehicle.

Unfortunately, tesla service is simply a miserable experience. You simply cannot contact anyone to determine when your service will be completed. they do not answer phones and take forever to respond to messages. Most people do not live near a service center and will have to physically travel to the service center to get a response. I traveled 1.5 hours to be told that the part did not come in. I was then told a day later it would be ready the next morning. It was not ready when I arrived and I had to spend 4 hours waiting for the car to be ready.

I want to start off by saying I love the Tesla brand overall and the car, but this location’s customer service is just appalling. I waited a long time to think about what I will write for this review as there’s a lot to go into here. I’m disappointed to see so many negative reviews regarding customer service for this location and no one is responding to them to fix the issue. I ordered my car back in September 2019. I received my car at the start of 2020. My car was delivered to this location and when I went to pick up my car in the very small window they gave me. It was dark out and no one took their time to go over the car with me. When I had a question they just said “you’ll get a hang of it”. There ended up being a couple factory defects in the paint/body of the car. The following morning the manager offered to put touch up paint on it but was making it clear that that’s all they could do. They also emphasized that if I don’t like that option I can return the car and wait on the waiting list all over again and lose my deposit. After many discussions with the top managers at this location, they ended up offering me the weather floor mats but even that was a struggle. With the factory defects and touch up paint still being present on my brand new vehicle, I ended up contacting another Tesla location 1 hour away and after walking them through my whole situation they ended up getting my car fixed at their cost but it was at a body shop near them. I was thankful, but this was very stressful to have to coordinate these repairs with a different Tesla location an hour away. In addition to the factory defects, there were some questions I had that no one at the Paramus location could answer. Come to find out no one who works here actually has a Tesla themselves, so they don’t understand these specific questions. I would think they spent extensive time with these cars and could answer questions about them. There was a clear plastic film left on my windows which made it looks like they had swirl marks. Before I knew the film was there, I brought the car to the Paramus location multiple times to ask what this was. On the 3rd visit another Tesla customer walked over and said the same thing happened to his car and when he brought it to a 3rd party auto shop they found out it’s the factory film that they forgot to remove. The film took 5 minutes to remove. The store manager didn’t even apologize and just was silent taking the film off. If you’re experiencing the same thing I would suggest just keep asking if the associate you’re dealing with has a supervisor and contacting another location.

Relatively good customer service during the buying process (although if you dont have an appointment they werent so friendly). Once you leave the lot with your new car good luck getting anyone of the phone to help with small or large issues let alone resolving the issues. If I could give them negative stars I would...Definitely the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! The car is great but would highly recommend another location.

Had a service scheduled for June 14th to rotate my tires and they never showed up. Waited for time that was agreed and never received a call regarding them being late or even canceling. They left me waiting and never answered my calls. I called 3 times and left a voicemail. Never received a call back. I will no longer be dealing with this Tesla dealer in Paramus and will start going to the one on route 22 in Springfield even though it is further away.

Stopped in to just quickly try to take a peek at a model 3 before buying online. Terrible experience. Rep who met with us was condescending and while I was even open to purchasing a Model 3 or S, actively discouraged it…Definitely understand Covid procedures, but there’s only two test vehicles and you are only allowed to look through the windows of the ones in the store… weren’t even able to just open a window or door as the glare you couldn’t see inside the cars…Will be rethinking buying one now.

I can’t comment on buying or selling a car here, however I would rather service my own car in my driveway and risk potential accident than come here.I had an authentic warranty issue & instead of being helped… was charged $215.the manager of service, Jose, is unhelpful. He called me 2 weeks after this review to tell me, without ANY proof. that this was not a warranty issue. no pics, no nothing.

The worst dealer experience and interaction with staff Ive experienced.I asked Melissa for help, and instead of helping me she gave me blunt and incorrect responses.I recently purchased a Model 3 LR RWD from a third party and needed help transferring the Tesla account. I was really excited to explore FSD features, premium connectivity, and 19 sport rims, wireless chargers, and accessories for my new to me Tesla. Instead I got a lecture on how I shouldve bought the car from Tesla.She told me I had only three options: contacting the original owner, call corporate(and that they would tell me the same thing as she did), and that (for the third time) I shouldve bought the car from a Tesla.What Melissa didnt realize is that there is an alternative option through Tesla support if a direct transfer is not possible. I had to discover this on my own WITHOUT her or any other staffs help.I was hoping theyd help me set up full self driving features and premium connectivity but with such a negative experience Im going across state lines to a different Tesla service center.

Overall bad experience trying to test drive the model y/with Tesla. scheduled a test drive 1.5 weeks in advance because they had to properly space out their appointments, which I understand. get there 20 min early, sign in, and wait for a few minutes before Steven approached us for our test drive. (prior to this, I received ~5 confirmation emails for our model y test drive.) First, he gets the car wrong and brings us to the model 3. once thats fixed, a family of 4 who is coming back from their test drive in the model y (the one were supposed to be test driving) gets out of the car. Steven brings us over to the car and is ready to have us drive that same car....didnt make any sense. he wasnt planning on cleaning it or even wiping it down. doesnt make sense to me why Im scheduling this 1.5 weeks in advance to drive a car a full family of 4 drove 1 minute prior.after reading the negative reviews of Teslas customer service, I now understand why.

They make it IMPOSSIBLE to speak with anyone in Services. Really disappointing experience to buy a car and then having issues scheduling service appoints and speaking with someone about the basic logistics of the servicing (how long, availability of a loaner, modifying appointment time). They are attempting to automate everything via the App and phone system and its such an awful experience. Please contact me as soon as you see this.Update post-servicing:- minor panel gap was unresolved. Rep insisted it was better with zero empirical evidence as i showed him one side was 2 credit card widths wider.- very rude staff. Really shocking. There is zero oversight, just a bunch of low-level representatives that need a serious lesson in customer service. Was treated like I was at a Foot Locker.- i asked for a phone number to the service center (given the reason in my original post) and was challenged by the rep “yeah, and the other twenty people before you want that, we just don’t work that way”.

From a potential buyers point of view, Advisor Jamie was great. The environment was somewhat chaotic and this is in large part due to demand for everything from service, sales to superchargers. Picked up our Model 3 at this location today and had a fantastic experience. Justin was thorough, patient, and knowledgeable as we signed the paperwork and walked through the car. Car was in spotless condition. Chargers there were all full with a couple cars in queue but fortunately we had plenty of battery to get to a supercharger closer to our home. I think they had a ton of deliveries today so the chargers were probably for their own inventory. Day one of being a Tesla owner was a blast.

Such a rich town and still can’t manage to place more super chargers lol, can’t speak on dealer experience since i purchased my car from Princeton (had a great experience) came here for supercharging and obviously being a dealership as well they require the need for superchargers along with customers that need them as well. can at least invest in more superchargers (ultimately making more money in the end). Sad part is no other super chargers within a 10 mile radius besides this one. So either wait there or risk running out of battery.

Got jacked with a bad Tesla S loaner. Im a model S owner for almost 5 years and I used this center few times in the past but for quick one day repairs mostly and got loaner cars before. My car is in the service center now for retro fitting of tire sensors takes a couple weeks. So they gave me a loaner model S. I took the car in the parking lot and noticed the right side mirror does not angle all the way into where I can see the door handles. I told myself, probably frozen, I can deal with it as I always look with my own eyes before moving to the right. This was my MISTAKE, a couple days later the side mirror panel popped out and was dangling as I was driving. I called the service center for replacement car and I was told will be charged for customer repair on the loaner!!! They told me they do a serious inspection on their loaners this would have been caught by them. Now its my word against their process. Definitely it was not caught by the person giving me the car and any other process they check as it was faulty side mirror before I left the lot. I should have told them but since they didnt do their job on inspecting loaners and now I have to probably eat whatever bill it costs they get 1 star!!!!! Really annoyed at myself for not saying anything before I left and Tesla not doing their job inspecting!!!!!

Most recently I was there this week and they did a great job again, so I thought it was time to write a quick review.The place is clean and modern, the techs know their stuff, the service is very good and timely. I contacted Paramus Tesla to test drive a Model S. I was given an on line appointment to come in. When I arrived I was met by Justin and promptly shown to a car. Justin explained the cars operation to me prior to getting on Rt. 17. Pulling out of the parking lot and merging onto the Chaos of Rt. 17 the car smoothly accelerated up to speed with the power of a V-8. Handling and braking were great. When you decelerate the car slows it self down just like the standard transmission I currently drive, I thought this a great feature. Then Justin took the wheel to show me the auto pilot and auto lane changes. The computer drove very safe never coming to close to another car. Returning to the dealership Justin showed me how the car parks itself. Best of all there was no pressure from Justin to buy the car. It was a wonderful experience. Justin was very knowledgeable about the entire car.+-

I dont know where to start. I dont even feel like giving one star. First of all no communication regarding delivery date, all of sudden I got phone call to pick up the car. Second at the time of delivery, car was given without temporary license plate, I have to ask for it. Third I provided referral code for super charge which is still not got applied towards my account. If I call or text to my sales rep he doesnt respond to my text or call. If you happen to stop there, so please make sure dont get engaged with salesman called Raymond. The WORST experience of my car purchase so far. After spending almost $50k my car in one charge not even going up to 100 miles. And forget about anyone would listening to my issue, I already told you about Raymond. Honestly I feel like I got robbed at this place.

Tesla has lost the human touch. Where in the past you could actually call and speak with a human being, everything now has to be done electronically. Even that is not easy. Their web site stinks. Even when you call the national center to get help, youre typically on hold for at least an hour.When I brought my car in for scheduled service, I asked to speak with the service manager to express my concerns about the poor service. I was told he didnt have time to see me. Great way to take care of your customer manager!I no longer recommend Tesla when asked. I did in the beginning. It doesnt matter how nice the car is if you cant get the service.

The Tesla process was very quick and customer focused. I came in a little early and they were able to work on my car right away and have me out in about an hour or less. Everything was explained up front and they answered all of my questions. I sat in the lounge and had coffee while I waited.
