My friend and I were traveling through West Virginia when our car broke dowm 500 miles from home. The mechanic Jim allowed us to park our vehicle in his lot for the weekend while we figured out the best way to get back home. He even offered his professional advise in a very honest manner and got the car running so we can drive it to another storage location. Would not accept a penny for his work and hospitality so a 5 star review is the absolute least I can do.
I would recommend auto aid to anyone who is looking for a honest mechanic who can get you worked in quickly if needed.. They are super friendly.. They care about the quality of the work not quantity. They explain everything that needs done in detail and they don’t charge just to diagnose your car’s problem which is unheard of nowadays. They can even help you get your car towed to their shop if needed at a cheap price.. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. Overall he is a honest, affordable, quality mechanic who puts his customers first instead of profit
Thisbusiness is co owned by my nephew. They are Always busy and offer very good guality work.
I love this place. They always do great work on my truck, and theyre great with getting work done in good time.
Very proffessional people. My cars a/c wasnt working they got me in the same day as a walk in and didnt even charge me for an a/c charge sadly i need a new compressor but wasnt charged for diagnosis would highly recommend this local repair shop located conveniently on 7th street
I had a full exhaust - Headers back true dual with cats installed at this shop to save me time in getting this truck finished (because who likes loosening head bolts? Not me).Heard leakage driving home and the flange studs from the exhaust manifold weren’t tightened at all on the passenger side. To add to it, the tack welds keeping the mufflers from cracking together came apart soon after and dented everything up and broke the hanger in the back. Thankfully I have a welder and the skills to repair the repairs, but if it was someone else they’d probably be writing more checks 🤷🏼♂️The semi-positives are they got the head bolts out (but reused old hardware at that, so they’ll break I’m sure) and were quick about it. Not sure what’s going on over there but someone needs to start checking the work.Went back for photos and it looks like they welded straight through the sides of the mufflers too. Curiouser and curiouser 🧐
No appointment, phenomenal service.2006 Pontiac Vibe exhaust leakI arrived at Auto Aid with a very loud exhaust leak and NO appointment.I quickly explained my plight, and was assured me that my car would be seen shortly.Mere minutes later my car was on the lift and being diagnosed. The muffler was no longer attached due to a previously done patch (not proper repair). The previous owner did a faux repair on rear exhaust flange as opposed to replacing the flange. The muffler appeared to be rusting at the seams. The procedure of rectifying my exhaust situation was quickly and concisely explained, as a pipe and flange would need to be custom fabricated (redundant?).Then I was confidently assured that the repair could be executed with minimal time involved.Like a well practiced/orchestrated procedure began. The replacement occurred before my eyes. Malfunctioning parts of the exhaust where removed and new replacements attached.Five out of Five Stars for the crew at Auto Aid!Again I had no appointment. However, I would suggest making an appointment.
Diagnosed and done all in one day, worked with me on the cost as well! Thanks Auto Aid, for keeping me on the road! Will recommend to my Tribe.👍
Wonderful people, and always willing to help. Great service, at great prices.
They are friendly and they do great work. I would highly recommend them!!
Good afternoon! I just had work done on my Corvette this morning, and as always, they did quality work! It is hard to find someone who does quality work without being taken advantage of. The crew at the 7th Street location is too notch, and they have my business until the day I die, or they retire, whichever comes first. Hopefully they retire first.
I took my 1984 Nissan/Datsun 300zx into this shop with multiple issues. They restored my transmission and replaced several other parts at a very reasonable price. Despite of the amount of business they had they made sure my car was available by the time I left work. Everyone here is very friendly, nice, trustworthy, down to earth people and really theres no better way to say it than the owners/staff are good people.
My truck was in a bad way thanks to a Mr Fix-It husband. I knew it needed to be fixed by a professional, but I couldnt decide on who I could really trust...especially with me being a woman. Id heard good things about Auto Aid and one recommend happened to be by another woman. That was the clincher. Now, my truck was so bad that after it was fixed, I still drove with great caution. I had to remind myself that I was no longer getting warning messages and alarms going off on my dash, and when I used my brakes, I no longer heard that horrible crunching. It has been smooth sailing for two weeks now.Another thing that means a lot to me is how genuinely friendly the staff is. They are so down to earth and truly care that you leave there a satisfied customer. Thank you Jim and Becky for giving me my peace of mind back.
Was driving from Ohio to North Carolina and my vehicle broke down in West Virginia. They worked me in and got me back on the road at a fair price and with a great attitude. Might make it home before dark :-)Thanks so much…
We were on our way on vacation and our brakes were put on wrong and they were the only place that would take us with a short notice and fixed everything very quickly, greatly recommended!!
Had our car for weeks we got it back and its still broke down
Honest. Fair prices. Throughly explained what they were doing do car. Great service. Highly recommend
Good customer service, got my car repaired the same day I stopped.
Jim tells you what needs done and shows you. He gives options and lets you make a decision. Totally satisfied!
Honest businessman, fair prices. Took my Honda in to be inspected and found out it was leaking power steering fluid. Was quoted $1100 to fix. Jim, the owner, did some more research with Honda and found out only the seals needed replaced making it a $400 repair. He went out of his way to make this a better situation for me when he didn’t have to and I don’t have the knowledge to know. He cares about his customers and doing things right! Great business, he has another loyal customer!
The first shop in the area that I fully trust to do work for me. Ive been in twice now and they fix the right problem the right way. Already quoted out the next work I need done I recommend to anyone that I talk to needing work done. I greatly appreciate these guys!
Went there to get 4 tires they were very friendly and accommodating the work was done great and I would definitely recommend going there again
Opening time 830am to 530pm on Monday still waiting at 850am to be services no one showing up at 855am finally some one show up
Love these guys!!!! Very reliable
Great experience dealing with this shop. Was able to get an upfront price for labor (labor hours were cheap), car was worked on as soon as i brought it in. Mechanic was friendly and described what all he did to the vehicle. He also let me know other issues i may have in the near future without trying to pressure me in any way to get them fixed immediatly. This will be the only shop ill go to from now on and i hope nothing but success for them.
I took my Buick Enclave for state inspection. The owner Jim showed me tires and another part and told me why I needed to replace. He searched the best tires for me. It was my first experience to Auto Aid LLC, and I will use it for my next year inspection. I recommend this auto shop!
Edited: Initially rated 1 star changed to 3.Unfortunately did not have great things to say. Had a tire blow along the road and called ahead before having it towed to this facility to see if they could accommodate me in patching or replacing the tire. They said sure thing, we can do that today. (Monday) called back monday evening and unfortunately they had to purchase a new tire, so I was told it would be there first thing the next morning and they would get it done. All day Tuesday and nothing. Told us that it would be done first thing the next morning at 8:30(Wednesday) Sat here for over an hour, when we got here my vehicle was still up on a jack and no tire. Found out they do not have a balance here and have to take tires to a different facility to even balance them. Finally the vehicle was fixed but then had to wait an additional 40 minutes for the boss to show up and accept our payment. Not happy with my 3 day tire change....FOLLOWING UP:initially rated this a 1 star. The I owner reached out to me and was very apologetic and offered some free services. The mechanics seemed friendly but it was just a very long wait for tire change and the staff didnt know what I owed and couldnt take my payment. Change to a 3 star because although I still Im not happy with the experience it was nice to be apologized to and for them to admit it was poor service.
Best car shop I have ever gone to. Super nice, and always affordable and honest
I finally found a great honest mechanic. Everything about my repair experience was 5 stars.

Hours posted 8:30 am too 5:30pm. I waited until 8:45 no one showed up.
Honest and reasonable prices!
This place is awesome. James does a great job!
Took my car here to have some repairs done. They broke several things including lug nuts and a stud that they werent gonna tell me about and a wheel speed sensor. They fixed them after mentioning it to them. Started it up check engine light was on and car running horrible. No lights on and car ran great when I dropped it off. Code was throwing both O2 sensors and they didnt know why. Replaced O2 sensors but didnt fix problem. Auto aid and a couple other places said it could possibly be my CATS. So I had those replaced and the light is still on and car still running rough. Also the exhaust work they done was horrible with several leaks. Took my car back there a couple of times to fix leaks that should have been fixed the first time. As of now there are still several leaks. Eventually i requested and received a full refund for exhaust work. My car has more problems now than it did when I took it to them and its very disappointing. I will not be going back!
