I went to SSI to get an oil change on my 993 and to get the car inspected. Later, I came back to have them replace the tires. The group there is very competent and very professional. I will definitely go back to SSI for other services, and repairs when the time comes.

SSI was suggested by my friend Nick after I confirmed to him how expensive BMW service was at the dealerships in Baltimore. I am very happy with their service and visited them many times over the past few years. The customer service and technicians are friendly and do quality work at less than the dealer cost. They don’t try to have you do maintenance that is not needed. Now I have a Porsche Macan and I am taking it to SSI for service. I like the fact that I can speak directly to the person servicing my car.

Professional, highly competent and honest shop. Needless to say, it is very hard to find a tech shop that consistently or at any one time has all these traits! Whether it is for race-prep, routine work or mechanical restoration, I have known SSI Auto for the last 20 years and they have always performed great work in all the aforementioned areas. Absolutely terrible. This team will help you as far as it benefits them then leave you hanging. It is so terrible that they’ll make all the effort for you not to reach them. Sloan is an interesting individual who is quick to get upset about the job he does. The customer services is extremely disappointing and worst part is I’ve been a loyal to them for a long period of time. They refused to provide inspection documentation then give no reason why. Sloan has given every reason as to why this establishment should have changes made so i suggest for anyone coming here for service to do it at their own risk . I wish i could put 0 stars.-Johnny

Professional, Competent and Great PeopleAll around excellent service from SSI. I have used several shops during the course of my ownership and they are the only technicians that were able to identify a problem with the installation of a suspension component. Everyone else made excuses as to why the car could not be setup the way it should have been. All of the other shops held themselves out as high quality race/track prep facilities. Very frustrating. SSI was able to get the car setup properly. I am extremely happy with how the car has turned out. Out at the track, they went out of their way to help my friend locate, deliver and install brake pads so he would not miss drive time. He isnt even a regular customer! Sloan and crew are a great team.

When my cars were new. I serviced them at the dealer at dealer prices but now they are older and my choice to maintain that excellent service at a lower cost is SSI Auto.

These guys are very helpful and have great customer service. Just got a 996 C4S and had them install a set of sway-bars that the owner Sloan suggested. The sway-bars have been great. I am taking my car back to them.

Havent gotten any real work done.. but the guys are professional and knowledgeable. Plus theyre one of the only Euro tuning shops in the area

Ive been taking my VW Jetta to SSI for a couple of years now, and I couldnt ask for a better experience. They are consistently great every time! They are always so professional and really good at problem solving. Ive had two issues that the dealership should have been able to solve easily but claimed they couldnt or that it would be very expensive. SSI handled both and at a very fair rate each time.Theyve also given me a good recommendation for where to take the Jetta for body work - was pleased with that experience as well. SSI has excellent judgement and communication, and I recommend them highly!

Been bringing my cars to SSI since 2003 for all kinds of schedule maintenance, service and modifications. 2 Infiniti, 1 VW, 1 Merc and now a BMW. will continue to bring my vehicles here for continued great service and staff...and I live in PA. it is worth the drive.
