Great place if you need any parts for appliances furnaces or air conditioning units! The staff there is very knowledgeable and very good at assisting their customers! They usually have a wide selection of parts that they stock on hand! I usually always give them a call before I buy anything online! Plus its nice when you physically can compare two parts to see if theyre compatible!

I wouldnt call them warm and friendly. The place reminds me of going to a yard for a part. The counter person isnt exactly nice to you but they know if they have what you need. Being able to find locally sold genuine OEM replacement parts for appliances is great, even if they cost more than online.

Know the exact part number and what you need. They can get it for you. Not very knowledgeable or helpful.

Had the part I needed to fix my dish washer

Wow. Just called up there and I asked “good afternoon so you guys carry dryer drive belts?” Guys response was “you don’t say you don’t say” and then hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional. I will make sure I spread the word of their way of handling customers questions

Needed a part for my Samsung French door refrigerator (watched a YouTube video on how to fixit) the part would take 5-10 business days from Amazon so I googled “appliance repair parts” and called a couple stores. This store said they could get me the part in a day or two (I called at 4pm) and THE NEXT DAY they said it was ready for pickup. And I’m happy to say the part solved the problem! 😃

Great place for hard to find appliance parts

This is the best parts house around because of Mike and the great staff there. Ive known Mike for years. His knowledge of parts, part numbers and substitutions is unmatched. Beside that he is just a nice person that you are always glad to see. I also love the music, the shop cat and the plants. Its a great mental break. Thanks V & V for finding great people, its like Cheers as a modern day parts house (thats actually modern).

If i remember correctly its run by a older couple who were super nice & helpful & were even willing to send me somewhere else to get a cheaper part. They were so honest & knowledgeable that i WILL ALWAYS get parts from here.

Needed a replacement part for my dryer. They had the part I needed and I was on my way quickly and had my dryer working again in no time! I will come back to this place again for parts in the future.

Awful experience. Went in with a part for a refigerator and the rep talked down to me. He referred to me as sir in a derogatory tone after I asked a simple question. He repeated himself with that same tone after a 2nd question. Made me feel pretty stupid. I am sorry I do not know my refrigerator parts. He was such a phony. Went a few miles away and they ordered the part for me. It wasnt an expensive part, but this guy lost my business.

Great appliance store, BEST in Cleveland! Need a part for an older dryer or washer, THEY GOT IT! They dont gouge you in price. The staff is very knowledgeable and will walk you thru a repair. Kind, HONEST, and if you lost a screw or bolt they got it. You dont have to buy a whole part if you just need a piece. This is a throw away society and they are the perfect people to save it! Pass it on people. Lets give them the business instead of a business giving it to us! Great people, great place.

Awesome place! 1 weekend I go in and they had The Grateful Dead on the stereo. The next time I go in and Beethoven was on, and that started a conversation between the gentleman behind the counter and myself. Suddenly my Appliance emergency didnt seem so daunting. I was made to feel relaxed, therefore I remembered the questions I wanted to ask about my project. The guys that work there are very savy when it comes to fixing appliances. I will go back over and over again. Oh yeah...they have a very cool cat that watches over things.

Needed a belt for an older Maytag dishwasher. Gentleman knew what I needed before I even finished telling him what I had! Great service. Definitely use them in the future.

Worst customer service ever! Sold me the wrong part after they seen and had the specs. Never ever told me it wasnt returnable. Cant admit they were wrong! So much for the customer is always right. Then they completely lied to the BBB about there great counter service person! Wouldnt recommend to the scum of the earth

Needed washer pulley for a Maytag. Other sites want to sell it with the motor or part of a kit. I only needed to buy the pulley. It was an excellent quality universal part (1/16 smaller diameter) made in the U.S. and it was reasonably priced.

I miss the old owners but, the new guys are very helpfull and they stock most of the common failure parts.

It seems that it would be difficult to compete with the internet in this business, but even when i look up the part on the computer Ill still go into Modern to buy it because their knowledge of appliances is endless. Whether its troubleshooting a dryer from the 60s or finding an obscure igniter for an off brand stove, Modern can do it.

I have used Modern Appliance Parts several times and find them to be very helpful particularly for finding parts for appliances that no one else in the city could find! I highly recommend them! If they find the part Im looking for today, I will be soooo greatful.

Not a fancy place but they have all the parts you need without waiting for online parts to ship. I have a gas dryer with a plastic belt tensioner pulley that self destruct every 2 or 3 years. They always have had what I needed to do the job. My daughter got a kick out of their dog suzzie. I would recommend to any DIY or pro.

Bought an igniter for my dryer from this guy only because he was open until 5:30 and told him I was also going to test the fuse first,and turned out the fuse was blown and he would not let me return the igniter. Not once did he tell me it was not returnable until the next day when I wanted do.Also was very rude and argumentative on the phone. Last time fore me going to this place. STAY AWAY there many other appliance parts dealers in Cleveland to go to. Just dont go here. BAD BAD BAD
