We paid exactly MSRP on Pasadena, where Glendale had 8k in additional add-ons that no one wanted and they wouldnt take off. We were in and out of the dealer in 1.5 hours, never felt pressured, and well definitely be repeat customers.
One of the best dealership buying experiences I have ever had. My wife and I drove 60 miles to see a particular vehicle. Unfortunately the vehicle was sold before we got there. I would like to ask vw pasadena, are you discriminating against people whose English is not a native language? When I arrived there, Wendy asked me to wait for 10 minutes. You know that two service staff were sitting there, and I was the only person in the waiting area. When I told Wendy that my CarPlay was not working, she told me that there was a problem with charging cable. I need to find a new one. When I find a new one, does she say this is the original Apple charging cable? Finally, the car system was restored to the factory settings, and CarPlay started to work. There was no problem with my charging cable. My car is a 2018 tiguan, and the total cost $371 of 30,000 miles regular maintenance .When I arrive at the cashier and ask any discount, Cashier called Wendy. I couldn’t hear what they were talking about. Cashier told me to go to their website. At that time, I didn’t find the discount on their website. I paid the full amount. I was having very challenging problems with my car and his and his staffs determination and hard work resolved my issue. In fact, he made such a positive impression that we later changed our minds and returned to buy the car because we were so turned-off by other sales people at other dealers. I gave a friend a ride here, but I have to admit they had an acceptionally nice waiting area that provided current variety of Newspapers, a nice 47 flat-screen TV, a vending machine with snacks,, a microwave,, a coffee machine, a soda machine with a variety offering water, Coke to Fanta soda along with seating at both a counter area and individually. Plus their a/c worked very well too! Very orderly and clean too
This review is long overdue..Last September I decided to trade in my Golf Sportwagen for something a bit more fun. I really liked the sportwagen so I decided to stay in the golf family and move over to a GTI. I contacted several VW dealerships in search of a manual transmission and initially went to the closest dealer to my home and was not impressed. I ended up getting in touch with VW Pasadena and spoke with Kevin Ho. While they didn’t have the car I was looking for in stock, Kevin did some research to see if he could pull one from another dealer and still get me a price I was comfortable with. Kevin located a car at a nearby dealer and I headed over to his dealership to value my trade and get the process started. I ended up driving off in a new GTI at a price that I felt was reasonable and overall the experience was great. My only gripe is that because the car was coming from another dealer it took a very long time and I was waiting around the dealer a lot longer than I had anticipated.Fast forward to January when my mother was looking for a new car. We reached out to Kevin and set up to come take a look at a Golf. We were a bit apprehensive about spending time at a dealership during Covid but Kevin assured us that it would be quick and that the majority of the process could be lined up ahead of time. He also informed us of additional precautions the dealer was taking.Kevin met us at the dealership and introduced us to our sales rep Carson. Carson walked my mom through all the features of the car, took us on a quick test drive, and answered all of our questions thoroughly and patiently. When it was time to make the deal, Carson introduced us to Jamal who walked us through the financing aspect of the deal as well as the trade in. There ended up being some complications with our trade in due to weird policies with Ford (nothing to do with VW). VW Pasadena went above and beyond to make sure the process was smooth. Carson even drove all the way out to our home (~30miles away) to get a signature on some additional paperwork that was needed as part of resolving the issue.Long story short - this is an awesome dealership and they have my familys long term business.

What a joke of a dealership!!! Had my lift pump go out still under warranty only to have a tech in casper wy find a rag that was left in my tank by this shop and refuse to do anything about it!! This is the only shop to have ever mess with the fuel tank, service manger said o well nothing we could do its been there to long, what a joke!! Had the dealer in casper even say they would split the cost with Pasadena and still wont do anything about it
Ask for Billy Ott. He was our salesman and he was honest, efficient and helpful. Highly recommend.We live in SD and he helped us get right to business from the beginning. We called about a used vehicle we saw online, told him we had our own financing and what we wanted the final price to be with taxes, title and fees. He called back within 15 min with what mgmt could offer. Took the fair deal, which was only $200 more than what we offered. Emailed our finance info, insurance docs, then drove right up.Everything was waiting for us when we got there. Test drove and inspected the car, signed the purchase order, and drove away within 30-45 min of arriving. No high pressure tactics or sneaky fees added in after the fact. Billy was great and will shoot you straight.

Be sure to have even the certified pre-owned vehicles inspected by another dealer mechanic. I bought a certified pre-owned tiguan that flashed a check engine light a week after buying. And a month later things have just gotten worse.
As with most places I have been to lately. Service seems to be a minimum priority. Dont get me wrong Paolo the service writer and the cashier were awesome but the parts Department seem to be the least interested in helping or being bothered. I stood at the desk for approximately 5 minutes before being acknowledged by anyone. The cashier actually paged them 2x before the gentlemen who was sitting behind the desk bothered to even look up at me. Similar situation occurred at VW Glendale. But because of the wonderful rapport I have established with Paolo Cordisco. I will continue to use VW Pasadena to service my car. I just wish people would learn to appreciate a customer again. We ( customers) are the reason your still in business.

I never thought I can ever give a car dealership a 5 star, but the guys at Pasadena VW went beyond my expectations. I made a phone appointment and Billy went above and beyond to make sure to cover all the bases. The price was very fair, the service was exceptional, this is my third time buying a car from this dealership, the first two experiences were less agreeable, so they do listen to their customers and make necessary improvements that is why I keep coming. not to mention Karl is a world class professional. He even called me and confirmed the appointment and said I will be done in less then 2 hours which is exactly what happened so I could not be more happier with my purchase.

On time with my appointment. Found I just needed air in my my tires. They didnt try to over charge me.
Made an appointment but was not served until hours later. On the phone they charged me one price but when they were done it was a higher price. They took the covers around the front wheels off and never put them back. They are now missing. They said that my car needed additional services but when I took it to another mechanic, I was told that there was nothing wrong with the car. So they lied about what needed to be fixed and the reason a went for in the first place came back. So they never fixed the problem. They waste your time just to charge labor time. Highly recommended finding a good mechanic, keeping them before you go to this dealership. Its about making money and not providing service for the dealership.
Bought a 2017 Volkswagen GTI. Really great car. The people at the dealership were to the point and gave us a great price. Such a good experence compared to the less than pleasant tactics of some used car dealerships. Would recommend for the ease of the in person experience.

Had an ok experience buying the car, as easy as it could be. Toward the end, the finance manager & I weren’t really communicating effectively but not the reason I’m giving this one star. That would be 4 stars in my opinion.3 weeks after buying the car, I had some questions about my financing. I called 4 times, first 3 times I was told someone was going to call me back. Never did. Last time I insisted on being on hold.They finally helped me, couldn’t find my file so they needed to find it first then call me back.Discussed my issues, then I decided I didn’t want the additional warranty. The finance manager told me I was making a bad decision & it’s not the decision he would make. Any time I tried to answer back, I was interrupted & couldn’t get in why I thought it wasn’t a good deal. Eventually, it ended with a really sore note. I’m cancelling my warranty. Certainly not bringing my money here next time I’m in the car market. They brush you off after you’ve already given them your money.

This is the most deceptive and dishonest dealership…I purchased my vehicle in 2014, with it, I also purchased an extended warranty to cover wear and tear parts such as brake pads, windshield wipers, belts, hoses, etc.Before my extended warranty was about to expire, I took the vehicle to the dealer to service the brakes. The service department started a work order to replace the brake pads, when I went back to pick up the vehicle, I was just handed a new set of pads and the service writer advised me that the existing brake pads do not need to be replaced and I can bring the car back in a later date when the pads need to be replaced to complete the service free of charge. I did not question the recommendation given as I had a full trust in the dealership. I did advise the service manager (Steve) about the incident. He did apologize for the dealership misconduct and promised to have the service performed free of charge since they had already gotten paid by faking and defrauding the insurance company for past repairs that was never done. When the time came to replace the pads, I contacted the service department to schedule an appointment to complete the work on the vehicle. I was very upset when I was challenged by the service manager (Steve) and his broken promise and the change of view on the issue. He started to question their unethical conduct and pass the blame to past employees. When I insisted to have the service be completed as I was rightfully entitled to, the service manager (Steve) became very rude, belligerent, and exceedingly hostile and very aggressive. He denied any knowledge of the incident and refused to honor the promise he made until he refers the matter to the general manager. After the general manager was made aware of the calamity and the unprecedented wrongdoing by the service department, he approved the service on the vehicle to be done. I, then scheduled an appointment, just to be turned down after driving 200 miles and asked to bring the vehicle some other day. I then, brought the car back for a second scheduled appointment to have the work done, that’s when Steve (the service manager) started to act very stupid and questioned the confirmed appointment that was made for the second time. While the car was in service, I asked to have a ride home, but (Steve) carried on his despicable behavior and refused to give me a ride home while the vehicle been worked on as a sort of punishment for bringing the car back for free service. Furthermore, after completing the service, I asked if the car can be washed as it is customary in all dealerships, he wickedly objected and denied having the car to be washed. This dealer is vastly a corrupt dealership and the service department is beyond a degrading scale of customer service. This dealership and particularly the service department and its staff are rude, unprofessional and lack any decency. I will never ever deal with this dealership again. After buying two vehicles from them, I got nothing in return but the worst experience and disgraceful attitude.
The best dealership I have ever dealt with! (Owned 8 VWs) So friendly, courteous, personable, professional and honest! Its a shame I didnt go through them sooner. I live in Santa Clarita and dont care about the long drive because thats how good all of these guys are especially Mike the Sales Manager and Dominic the Internet Manager.

I sent a request through the website and a salesman called me almost immediately. I asked about the SUV I wanted and Ray, the worlds most awesome guy, found the exact model and colors I wanted. He got my financing ready to go the next day (I had a delay because of our home refi). The next day I called, he put all the docs together and delivered the car to my door! Talked with them over the phone and they gave a reasonable quote. Took a day out of my week to go there and close the deal and they wouldnt honor their phone quote. Instead they wanted to play hardball, not even approaching their advertised pricing. Ended up walking out and going down the street, got the car I had originally wanted for $500 less than VW Pasadena had quoted, and $2,500 less than they were trying to charge me when I showed up.

I live about 30 minutes away and spoke to Clair before arriving to go over issues with my vehicle, 2018 Vw Golf R. Called regarding a safety recall appointment. I was transferred without a heads up to an unknown line and voicemail. Called back and the same thing happened. To fail this stage of the customer service experience seems like an easy one to avoid — asking for a proper greeting, knowledge of what Dept or person I’m being transferred to, and if I get a voicemail, for that message to identify who I’m leaving it for. Ultimately - Called twice, no solution or next steps.

I usually service my 2016 golf here, and Im pleasantly surprised with the quality of the service. But as with most dealership service departments, the cost is high. If you only need basic service (e.g. an oil change), it is better to go elsewhere.
I was helping my mom get a new e-golf, we went to two dealers before Alhambra and they said ~400 for a lease which was absolutely ridiculous. We then went to Alhambra and they offered us a lease for ~270 a month, and not only that, the salesmen whos name was Jack was absolutely amazing! The other workers were excellent as well. My mom loves her e-golf!
Very pleasant attitude of the salesman. Not pushy at all. Great lounge amenities which salesman invited me to enjoy even when I told him I was not buying a car yet, I was just comparing with other brands and models. 10 times better than most other dealerships. The dept manager wasreally friendly and he took the time to explain me what was done to my car for the service it needed.He also asked me if I had any other questions or if I was ready to make an appointment for them to fixmy car issues with the alarm on my car. Their service/maintenance department was very honest and helpful to solve a problem that another shop took days to try and find but couldnt not figure out. Volkswagen Alhambra are very kind and courteous with their customers.
Called in for smart key for VW CC, was quoted $150 for key and $150 for programming but when I went to pay in person within 45 minutes, that amount jumped to $300 for key plus programming. May be unintentional, but still. I was shopping around for better prices and my decision to drive down was based on this information.Ended up buying anyways.Parts department answered questions and filled out the forms.Cashier was polite and nice, and she was great conversationalist.Other staff members (girls at the next table and showroom reps) were polite as well and directed me to parts department.
Ive purchased many a new car over the past 30 years and have had good experiences and bad on the end to end process of purchasing a new vehicle (more of the not to good). Some dealers will waste your time even though you ask them up front not to. This by far has been my best experience over that time. They are professional and to the point and truly value and respect the customer experience. I would recommend this dealer to the car buyer looking for a great experience. Awesome!

The staff was nice enough but wouldnt release vehicle history due to privacy issues even though I purchased from Hertz so whos privacy are they protecting. Also the first car that I have seen that doesnt have a diagram of the fuses and they wanted me to leave it for service ....for a blown fuse!! What??

When I first purchased my car here a little over a year ago, I had a pretty bad experience with management, but throughout the time Ive owned my car, Ive come back for service and slowly Ive grown to really appreciate this dealership. Jorge the salesperson who helped me is the best hes always been real nice, honest, and hes made sure I always get taken care of. In the service department, Ashley has always helped me out with excellent customer service and care. I always feel really well taken care of here by the staff and I hope to purchase my next car in the future here.

Go to another Volkswagen dealership, and stay clear from Volkswagen Pasadena, because they will do their best to bend you over and screw you good. I spoke over on the phone with Ra-Dash and told him what I wanted as well as the price. I decided to go in because he was willing to be competitive. I test drove the vehicle and was ready to make a deal. My lease deal was negotiated for roughly around $3200 excluding fees and taxes with Andrew since Ra-Dash was with another customer. Rather than being honest about the monthly payments. They snuck in another $800 making the total $4000 excluding taxes and fees that is a 25% premium (interest) increase. Andrews really had nothing to say when I found out the difference until, a few seconds of awkward silence, he figured out what excuse to make up for the increase, that it is an interest charge. The year is 2017, Volkswagen Pasadena clearly doesnt know anything about honestly and respect. If you like being taken advantage of Volkswagen Pasadena dealership is the place for you. I went to a different Volkswagen dealership where I was treated like a human being. Look at their reviews, it definitely reflects Volkswagen Pasadena.I will NEVER buy a car from VOLKSWAGEN PASADENA EVER AGAIN, and this is after letting Ra-dash & Andrew (as well as the Finance Team) know that I have made previous purchases from their dealership. Volkswagen Pasadena thinks it is a game or something, but when it comes to money, cut the bull crap. I only went here due to the dealership being conveniently located.

Purchased my car two years ago from them and have a great experience for staff overall seems to be really focused on taking care of the customer. I had an issue with purchasing the VW care plus and the staff on yard what a salesman sold me but didn’t put down in my paperwork even after he has left the company they still took my word and you’re kind. I wasn’t ready for them to work with me as most companies tend to fight. Definitely don’t have the feeling of other slimy or underhanded dealerships these people are on the up and up and I really wasn’t expecting that I will be by my car from them again. Took in my car for a door/window issue. The 3rd party insurer said they wouldnt cover the repair. I worked with Norman, who really did a good job of helping me out. Issue was taken care of at no cost to me.Ive been to this dealer a few times for service and I have never left disappointed.
Great Service dept. Always try to honor appt. Time to get you in out as quickly as possible.Keep you updated on the progress of your car, always wash your vehicle before returning it to you. Service Advisers, Paolo and Ashley are excellent and are able to answer any questions or concerns you may have.Definitely recommend Alhambra VW for service and/or new or used car purchase.

Salesmen are great. Not pushy! Can not stand pushy salesmen. These guys are very friendly and inviting. Finance guy worked diligently to get us the deal we wanted.
