Ron and his team installed my Sunesta/Somfy shades in 2012 they have been trouble free for years. I recently had a motor fail (after some major power fluctuations in our neighborhood) and went back to the manufacturer and the local OEM rep. for help in getting a replacement motor installed. Th current Sunesta rep were not really interested as they didnt do the install and might be able to get me on the schedule in about 3 weeks--and then they would have to order the parts, yada yada.I called Excel back and although Ron no longer carries the brand that I purchased he worked to find me the replacement motor, and had Dale and his installation team at my house in less than a week. In a few hours had fully installed new motor and even reprogrammed the remote for us.old fashioned service....at a reasonable price and far faster than the alternative.In some cases the people are worth more than the warranty. If you value service and fair pricing, Excel ...excels..!!

Our experience with Excel Awning & Shade has been positively stellar! The owner, Ron, is so punctual that you can set your watch by his arrival time. The installation of our two electric awnings was superb and, while a missing accessory required them to come back a few days later, they followed up exactly as promised - a rare quality, these days.We first considered Sunsetter awnings, but, after looking on line, found out that many complained about their lack of service and support. After doing much research, we found Excel Awning & Shade, which sells, installs, and supports Ranier awnings. We couldnt be happier with our selection of both the awnings and the company that installed them. While we are confident that our new awnings will provide good service, we are confident that Ron and his team will be there to provide us with top-shelf support if ever needed.
