This was the BEST experience! Got 2 tattoos and a touch-up done by Juice, 2 new tattoos went perfect and the touch up (done originally by an at home artist) looks 1000× better.. perfect mix of professional while still having a good laugh. Best pricing Ive seen, very affordable. Got the job done fast while still making sure it was exactly what I wanted. 10/10 recommend and WILL be returning :)

10/10 Tattoo Experience. Was a cheap price but definitely not a cheap tattoo :)! Juice was my guy and ended up getting a cover-up from a skull into a spider with a web around it. VERY clean place. Got done in about 40 minutes. Juice even gave my friend a huge discount and a free touch up. Appreciate it! Highly recommended.

Then the lady giving someone a tattoo was rude telling me to go out side bc I was talking to my neice while I was trying to send her a picture of the tattoo he wanted. Very clean and professional place, but what makes this shop stand out from the rest is the overall VIBE. After moving to Houston from Seattle, it’s been hard to find a new tattoo artist. My friend and I called and walked into several places and were super disappointed with them all. Called here the lady was so helpful and encouraged us to come in. Everyone was SO nice and friendly!! Instantly felt comfortable and trusting. Our artist was Keith. My friend and I showed him what we wanted and were instantly quoted way less that what we expected to pay. He showed us books with his work which made it obvious immediately, he was a skilled, experienced artist. Keith has decades of experience and it shows in his work. The whole experience was so satisfying. Will definitely be back again.

I went in for a tattoo and Lee was my artist, he did a terrible job the tattoo is not shaded all the way the lines are choppy and the tattoo is completely disproportionate, I gave him a picture of what I wanted and he still failed to accomplish that

Went with a group of friends to get our noses pierced about two weeks ago. Great experience! Kara I believe is her name (with purple hair) did an amazing job and was very patient as it was my first time getting my nose pierced so I was super nervous. It was very reassuring seeing how sterile everything was. Reasonable prices and great staff except for one women worker who was wearing glasses (not sure her name) was very rude.

Gotten like 10 tats from here. Good work. Better prices. Chris the owner is awesome.

Worst tattoo experience ever! I have several tattoos and have never had issues. I was originally quoted $50 and got charged $80, the artist let one of his gloves break and kept working on my ankle, he Wherley overworked it and now I’m dealing with an infection. He also didn’t want to cover the tattoo at all, which is aftercare 101

Kara, Haley and, Destiny are just awesome people. They talk to you during the process so you feel more safe and comfortable, which is a A+. They advised me on a 100% since, it was kinda my first piercing. They look awesome! I’m coming back soon. 100% recommended ❤️

I came here on June 27th 2020 with 3 of my friends. Each of us had gotten piercings. The customer service was amazing. I wish I could remember her name, maybe Kara, did an amazing job. She made us feel very relaxed and we were able to joke around with her so it was fun. My friends and I really enjoyed her company. The place was clean and she kept sanitizing/disinfecting everything and made sure things were neat for the next person. Our piercings came out amazing!!

The place was good but I was not satisfied with my tattoo, for it being a small and simple design. At first it looked ok not satisfied just ok but now that the blood is gone and further looking into it, I am definitely not happy. It was 7 hearts one heart filled and a halo on top of one. But the halo was not placed correctly and the hearts were not even made good maybe 2 out of the 7 hearts look like ❤️ The rest look just messed up I tried accepting it but no I cant a tattoo is supposed to be something you really like with meaning and love it especially since it will be on your body for the rest of your life. But with this one I just feel regret. Would definitely not go again nor recommend.The saddest thing was I went with my sister to get matching tattoos it was a sentimental tattoo, now its just a messed up tattoo for both.

The lady who pierced my friend named Misty was very rude and inconsiderate. I urged my friend to have one of the other piercer ladies there who were very nice and professional to do it because I did not feel comfortable. She did my friends dimple piercings completely wrong they were too far back and one was noticeably higher. My friend was very uncomfortable with the clamps and she told her to just deal with it.IF ANYONE goes here please stay clear of Misty, she is easy to spot as she was rude, mouthy and cursing pretty much the whole time we were there.

That one lady misty was sooo rude I didn’t like her at all had been my second time there and she is the most rude people I have ever met bad language just didn’t like her at all really disrespectful..// the two other lady’s where so nice and took care of me so well once the other one walked out of the room they where so nice to me really well spoken with so much manners I didn’t even get to get their name because of how well we where getting along I would not go back to misty but to the other two I would for sure .. Misty also snatched a QTip out of my hand which was very uncalled for

I got a tattoo from here last week and the tattoo looks horrible! I asked for a simple small tattoo and they charged me $60 for a small tattoo... overpriced and bad quality! I would never recommend.

Awesome and friendly staff. The piercer (forgot his name but he’s the one with beard and a lot of piercings) pierced my baby’s ears. He tried his very best to calm my baby down and he was extremely patient since my baby was crying for minutes. So thankful for him!! I totally recommend this place! Oh and btw he also did a good job! ❤️

The lady misty that did piercing was rude and pierced my mudusa sideways and I told her about it bc I was unsatisfied and she was like oh well who cares if its sideways. Are you gonna show people the inside of your lip.Like no but its uncomfortable and in my lip not straight through. I even whent back to try to ask her to re do it maybe and the first thing she said was Im not giving you your money back. Well I didnt ask for my money maam I was seeing if maybe youd redo it.... She said well I wont do that either. So I called the owner and he was understanding and generous. I ended up taking it out and its a bit bruised. Definitely wont be going back ever

This place is absolutely awesome!!! Everyone who works there is honest and straight to the point. Lee did my tattoo and had me laughing the majority of the time. At the end of the night I got the best tattoo imaginable and didn’t come out of pocket a crazy amount. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!!

The other day i went to get my son birthday tattooed in roman numeral which is 6-9-17 ... and the guy that did my tat instead of putting 17 in roman numeral he put a 1 and a 7 in roman numerals and basically now it doesnt say 6-9-17 ...it says a 6-9-1-7 .... i didnt realize until this morning because i figured it was right he said he had 30 something years experience ... just a little upset i paid $200 for him to not do it right and now i cant take it off my skin its stuck..... very nice work just he messed up on my roman numerals.

I went tonight and got a tattoo and my second ear hole piercing. The guy who did my ear piercing was cute and funny. Wont mind getting stuck by him again, forgot his name thought.Christophe did my tattoo and he did a good job. He didnt even mind when I kept making him redo the placement of my tattoo on the wrist. He was friendly and nice. I would recommend this place. Ive never written a review about a tattoo shop so thats saying something.

I went in on Easter Sunday to have my tattoo done with Misty. It came out better then I expected. I met misty at freedom ink a few years back and since then she is the only artist I want to do my ink. Very pleased with her work and while watching her you can tell her main concentration is on the piece she is working on.

Called closer to closing time to make sure we werent showing up last minute for two people in our party to get piercings. Were assured that we would be accomadated over the phone. Paper work was thorough as well as quick by a gentleman while we waited for the artist to finish up. Privacy provided in a very comfortable welcoming atmosphere and the entire interaction was kept very professional from start to finish. Artist was female and you could tell she was a pro at her craft. Couldnt ask for a better experience! Very happy with results.

Shop was clean. Staff was super friendly. Most comfortable tattoo shop Ive ever been in. The staff really makes you feel at home. I had my nose pierced by Chris and he did an excellent job. I also had a consultation with him about a cover up. Ill be going back for that next week. There arent many pictures of the artist work online, however, they have photo albums at the shop. These guys are great artist. I will highly recommend. This is the only place Ill be going for my future tattoos and piercings.

Went in an hour before closing and was greeted with open arms. My bofriend got some work done by Chris and I got a scripture by Allen from my Nanas bible and asked him to match her handwriting. Not only is it exactly what I asked for but it is so incredibly beautiful! The process was so quick but not sloppy or rushed. He is just that good. So glad we went and cant wait to return!

Got my industrial piercing there a few months back. They were very nice, the place is clean, and they have reasonable prices. A few days after I called cause I wasnt sure of a few things I told them who did my piercing (cant remember his name now) & he actually remembered and helped me out over the phone. Honestly, horrible experience. Do not recommend. Terrible customer service and they questioned my age. I normally would not be upset about this, but they said it in a very rude way. In fact, he rather smoke his cigarette outside than attend my cousin and I.

I went to Freedom ink last week to get a small, dainty tattoo on my ring finger. Was referred to David Caulk, the “artist” by a friend. Huge mistake. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. Granted, about 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment, I had to wait on him to smoke a cigarette, which at the time no biggie, then on top of that, he left to go to the gas station to get an energy drink, whilst I waited even longer. He didn’t listen to my expectations for the PERMANENT work done on my body. Also, made a comment to me and said “and don’t tell me how to do my job...” What? I never said a word about him or his work. I wanted the name “Cinderella,” in cursive on my ring finger, with a small crown above the “C.” I also requested the jewels/stones above the crown to be pink. That didn’t happen either. A week later, the whole thing is fading, letters are no longer connected, crown is so uneven and awful looking. Looks like a straight up prison tattoo. And coincidentally, David mentioned several times he’d been to prison... Not sure if that was suppose to be impressive. I wouldn’t not recommend this particular artist to my worst enemy. Now, after spending money there, I will have to spend more money getting it fixed at a totally different shop- if they are even able to make it look half way decent, because it looks AWFUL! I do not recommend this place at all. If you’re looking for a Professional shop, with knowledgeable, TALENTED artist, go to You Pick It We Stick It. I should have never went to Freedom, but figured I’d give this guy a chance. I wish I could post pics with this review. Do not make the same mistake I did.

Super bummed about my tattoo. My tattoo artist was Misty, she was nice and personable but also appeared to be under the influence of some kind of stubstance, her co worker even noted she looked lost which she admitted she was. Reluctantly I proceeded with the tattoo. The tattoo was perfect where all she had to do was trace the stencil but where actual artistry came into play lets just say that was lacking tremendously. I literally could have done better letting my niece practice on me. Im just so bummed, this piece meant so much to me, now its ruined. My friend got a tattoo there too same time, hers came out great. Maybe the right place but wrong artist, for me anyway. Oh then she had the nerve tell me, there are no flowers in existence with the colors I selected, when really she selected the colors herself, what does that have to do with the flower actually looking like a flower? Furthermore, arent you an artist? Make it happen. Totally freaking bummed😥😟. Update: The shop contacted me and offered to fix my tattoo, even do a new one free of charge, I will take them up on that offer, but like I stated previous the artist sucked not the shop. Everyone elses work was nice!
