Very friendly service and they care about putting out a good product. I got a g9t chocolate and it was fantastic. The ambiance of the coffee shop is great too. I stayed for a bit, people watching and reading. Its a comfortable place to stay awhile. Outdoor seating as well!

Outstanding sandwiches! Just exactly as a good clean sandwich should be. I discovered this business to late in life. My go to is the chicken pesto. Girlfriend loves the picnic sandwich. Try. This. Place!Its also located in a very charming hallway, I think the term is an arcade? Its worth a visit for the aesthetics alone!

(First time) The atmosphere takes you elsewhere like you are overseas, while being just steps away from Lake Avenue. Free parking in the back, although be prepared to easily spend over $11.00 for one piece of toast.

Quiet Lunch spot, wheelchair accessible, good for all ages, great coffee, delicious sandwiches, easy to Park area. I highly recommend this place. I had a sandwich called the Italian float and it was very good. I also had a chai latte that was iced and I had an iced vanilla latte, both were very good and very well made. Im very picky about my coffee and I thought this was very good. Not too acidic like Starbucks.

Neat little shop. Came here for the ice cream floats but its a sandwich shop. They offer really different types of sodas, for example Red Birch Tree soda, butterscotch soda, apple soda, cream soda & more.I had the chocolate soda shake: chocolate ice cream, butterscotch soda, chocolate sauce, whipped cream and heath bar bits. Next time Id like to try the Salted Caramel one.

We’ve been here twice, and both times have been so pleasant. The coffeeshop has its own quirks with plants, locally sourced products, mural, European style building exterior, and its signature floats. Their latte was so good and pretty with the latte art and the lemon poppyseed cake was SUPER moist and not overly sweet! Their croissant was also very crispy and fresh but I didn’t see it this time. The gentleman is so kind as well.Very pleasant place for coffee/float break and breakfast :)

Ive always passed by and I finally decided to visit Float. did not disappoint:) the lattes are pretty good and the coffee taste was satisfying. I got the breakfast bagel around noon and it was delicious! Will bring my family next time . Love small cafe shops like Float

Bought their rice crispy treats, were real salty and not sweet at all. Tasted like they pour salt into the marshmallow. Not satisfied at all usually their great but this time wasnt. Got to be more consistent with their treats.

Cute hidden sandwich shop in Pasadena. I don’t come here as often as I would like but the sandwiches here are amazing and just the right size from not being too filling! Also, they have some pretty good floats here. I had the orange creamsicle one before. Located inside the Burlington Arcade building. Worth a trip if you’re looking for a good sandwich!

The sandwiches are great tasting and the staff is friendly. Great espressoIt might be a little pricey...The bad thing is that they take way too long to make 2 sandwiches - legit 30 mins. Very slow service.

One of my favorite spots for coffee. Small and quaint. The Burlington Arcade that its situated in adds to the atmosphere. The coffee is fantastic and the sandwiches enticing. Definitely worth a visit when doing some shopping in the South Lake district.

Float is the perfect place to enjoy a mouth-watering treat on a hot (or cold) day. During the winter, we could NOT get enough of their seasonal floats: s’mooores float, Santa Wannabe float, winter must have float, and FROSTIE’S frostbite float.If you want something more filling, there are several meat and vegetarian sandwich options.

A charming little shop making very good coffee. Its located in the back of an old time shopping arcade and not visible from the street. They have some pastry offerings and a sandwich menu.

Hidden gem! I didnt have any of the floats but did get the float Italian sandwich. Good bread, a spicy sun-dried tomato paste, quality cured meats and ribbons of nutty manchego cheese. The ambiance is nice, its hidden away along a row of cute shops reminiscent of Europe.

I go here often and bring people here as it is often overlooked. The pour-over coffee is the best I have had since Ive been in LA. The staff are very friendly, and the sandwiches and Bagels are always excellent! Love the relaxed atmosphere too. The Caltech Discount is also great to see.

Amazing ice cream floats in a variety of tasty flavors

Even though I did not get the privilege of trying this place out, I really appreciate and am very grateful to this store. The man who helped save my lost purse was so kind. I am extra grateful because I so happen to be visiting only 1 day while visiting my siblings in the area fixing, a cellphone errand I used the upstairs restroom in this plaza. And they kept it safe for me, expecting nothing in return. I put some cash in the tip jar which isn’t even near enough to show how thankful I am, but I will be back to support this shop. All of my cash and personal belongings are here, they didn’t touch anything. I am so very grateful for honesty and their genuine kindness. I will recommend this place to everyone because I support people who are of integrity, honesty, and genuine kindness. Thank you so much for being how you are and being here for the plaza. I will be back to support amazing kind people like yourselves.

Saw the pastrami banh mi on the menu, exclaimed hell yeah! loudly and travelled about 20 minutes out of the way to get here. Hot damn, it was worth it. Grab a bottled pop from the fridge & enjoy your lunch.

Sweet little cafe in an old world style arcade. Lovely staff, good food, coffee, and floats. Old fashioned sodas and good ice cream varieties as well. Please patronize keep this place in business - it’s a true small business gem

The kid and I go here usually to grab ice cream after his haircut. They are always so friendly. The ice cream is awesome.

Great sandwiches. At $10 its neither cheap nor too expensive but the quality is that of very expensive sandwiches. They have lots of drinks unsurprisingly as they focus on their namesake, the float. I have been told that their floats are very good (I cant speak for myself as I only really ever order their cafe latte which has always been pretty good). Lots of free parking nearby too. Great place for lunch.

Best sandwiches I have eaten in the US since leaving from europe. Taste pretty much like the italian originals. Coffee was good too, and staff very friendly. A bit pricey, but worth the high quality

Unbeatable service. Great food. Relaxing ambiance. So yum! Its definitely an interesting combo as pastrami has such a distinct savoriness that the pickled veggies do surprisingly well to counter-balance.

I was very impressed with this little sandwich shop. The sandwiches were delicious and more than satisfied everyone in my group, the coffee was great, the soda selection is impressive and Ill be back to try an ice cream float with one of those hard-to-find varieties of root beer they carry.Float is sort of hidden away but if youre in the area to shop or explore Pasadena then you should absolutely stop in for lunch. If you live nearby this should be your go-to for a delicious, casual lunch.

My 2nd time at the Float since the new management took over. The place looks neat & clean. I tried different sandwiches. The food is simply delicious. The new owners, Ed & Joyce are hands on and attentive. They make sure the customers are happy. I like both inside and outdoor seatings. I would definitely come back for their great menu selection.

Really great float shop! They have ice cream floats, pastries, sandwiches, and coffee. Theres some seating inside and an atrium outside. This is a great place to work on the computer, and there is wifi but no chargers outside.

With a small storefront and even smaller menu, this place packs its best qualities in the sandwiches. The Chipotle Bacon Club has all my favorite ingredients on a sandwich - bacon and avocado! On the small strip of a sidewalk are a few tables and chairs that make for the perfect setting to grab a quick cup of coffee or even to work on a laptop.

Love the location at the arcade. Love the ambiance of the outdoor seating. The store itself is quite small, but the sandwiches are pretty good. The green tea latte was just ok, they didnt mix it too well and I caught a chunk of matcha near the end of my drink. Nevertheless, the overall experience and food was good. Its a good place to have a drink, a light meal, and hang out with friends.

Friendly, good service and sandwiches made with fresh quality ingredients. The Rosemarry Pastrami might be the best pastrami Ive ever had no joke.

This is a very cute stop for something casual. The flavors for floats are very interesting. I had a peach icecream with sparkling lemonade. I think I like the icecream better than the actual beverage. Most of their drinks are really sweet. I would like to come back to try the ice cream and coffee.

The name Float says it all. This little shop offers expensive boutique sodas, ice cream, and simple sandwiches.During Summer weekends, Float has free movie nights. I have attended these and they are really fun.

Good ice cream! I believe they use Fosselmans. I didnt get to try one of the floats, but the single scoop was very well priced for Pasadena artisan ice cream (I think it was $2.50).

Im not big on ice cream floats, so the mint green float wasnt my favorite. The pastrami bahn mi was good, but not specifically memorable.

Its an OK place, but certainly not worth the price for coffee. There are so many coffee places in the area, dont bother with this one.
