Great collectible itemsretro and new itemsfun place looks like there working on some new displays some of it was closed off .

I thought the dude working there was a cardboard cut out of the comic book store guy from the Simpsons. Only when he spoke condescendingly and was less helpful than said Simpsons character did I realize he was just a woefully unhappy human

Doorman is rude. Opened the door and looked annoyed. No greeting or anything. Same as he opened the door for us to leave. Learn some customer service skills.

Its a comic, collectable toys, card and apparel shop where you get all comics, its toys, cards and apparels. Shop collection is good and its look catchy from outside if you are comic lover. Rates are reasonable. Shop don’t have its own parking so you need to depend on street parking or public parking nearby areas.

Has a post note on the door saying new hours, opens at 3pm. I drove an hour for nothing.

Came here on a Sunday during posted open hours (1:15 pm) and the store was closed. Weak.

Very nice people cool toys and comics and other things

Lots of stuff to look at. Clean and organized environment. Cool items, but on the pricey side. The employee there was nice, but we felt like we were bothering him when we asked questions (pricing of items, etc.) so we left without purchasing anything.

For people looking for Pokémon card singles, go elsewhere as prices are unrealistic.

Yes definitely need to come back. Comic books and all the t shirts your heart can desire.

Nice place. I like the design of the store. The clerk was friendly and knowledgeable to all the customers. A bit pricey but this is the area.

Store is clean and a variety of different items. However, the person working at the time seemed to be bothered and looking at me and my brothers as we were going to steel something. They do have a great selection but some items are a bit over priced, review would be a lot better if it wasnt for the bad attitude the person had.

Great selection I havent found in this area. They leave you alone if you want, but are always there to help. Sometimes its nice to see the cabinets of collectibles just to stroll memory lane.

Came in here withy daughter. Lots of cute, vintage collectables that will remind you of your childhood

Only left a high rating to get my point acrossed. The store in general was very well put, organized and overall beautifully presentable but the customer service was horrible! The employer(s) were absolutely rude. Wouldn’t recommend this store, the comic store up Lake is definitely my store of recommendation. [Not trying to upset anyone, clearly only leaving my personal opinion. Thank you! :)]

I had been searching EVERYWHERE for a Star Trek communicator badge for my last minute Halloween costume.  The salesman said they didn’t have anything specifically like I needed but went out of his way to make something up.  He found a badge that looked very similar and we worked together to make it work.  Halloween was a huge success thanks to The Retro Store!

Truly an all around great shop. Family owned. Best comics, sports, and collectibles in town. I also order from them online. I am always stopping by when in the area. During the rosebowl, this is the place to be.The staff is very friendly and are always refreshing the merchandise. Reasonably priced and great inventory.

How have I not know about this place until just recently! Its so rare to find small, specialty stores like this nowadays, but Im so happy to have found this place!

Ive been taking my son to this store for over 5 yrs (hes a Star Wars collector) to find rare collectibles...and if he cant find what hes looking for the owner David will track it down for him!! Great store, great owner!

Your Facebook site says open at 9:00 am, Google says 11:00 am, their site says 12:00 pm. They have a sign on the front door that says Closed For Inventory, it was there six months ago. They are either or just not there very much, which sucks from the windows the place looks really cool.

Both times I went it was closed during listed store hours.. Well be back at...

I got low balled!!! Me and ny son went in pretending to know about the toys we were selling they were worth around 200 and he insults me saying that he could find them in the trash and he was trying to give me 25 and stuttered when I left.

I’m here at the front door now and it’s 12:40pm and the sign says open at 12:30pm. They never seem to open and I’ve been by a few times. What a shame.

Super store for collectors. There are many special edition and rarities. Was really excited. Of course there are also comics. Staff was super helpful and very friendly. Parking is good on the street in the near area.
