I remember when this store first was built now is pretty broken-in due to it being on the feeder road on a major truckers highway going through Pasadena, Tx. Its not the same as it was in the beginning but its doable. This location stays pretty busy! Sometime the showers and bathrooms getting neglected!

Wowzers this store has went downhill fast. Atmosphere feels unwelcoming and showers dirty with hair on the floor. Lots of new faces too, what did Pilot do, push out all the good ones? Only good thing I can say is the food is still at least decent to eat.

Need a place to shower and get away from home or before going to work? this place is perfect for it. Recommend bring Personal soap but overall, Staff and Place were clean and Quick.

We came in over a week ago and our first experience to this truck stop was phenomenal. There was two co-workers working and there name were Chris and Steven I believe. We come all the way from Arizona to do some deliveries and then head back home. Well Chris and Steven had helped us out tremendously by helping us set up our rewards card and getting us a parking spot. They were also very energetic and had smiles on their faces all the time we came in. This is what we like to see after being on the road with some crazy angry drivers. Their warming spirits made us felt welcome and we will make sure to stop at this location every time we are in town.

On 9-27-21, I bought $395.78 in diesel for my semi at Flying J in Pasadena. I’ve been doing this every 4 days at this location for over 2 year. I went to the restroom inside and when I came out of the stall, manager Soleen accused me of stealing and wanted to see in my small drawstring bag. I proceed to show her the baby wipe I bought at Wal-Mart. Her only apology was “we’ve had a lot of theft in the store”. Well on 10-1-21, this BROWN FEMALE TRUCKER THEIF went to LOVES TRAVEL CENTER (a few miles down the road) and bought $410.22 in diesel. I went inside, used the restroom and left with my dignity, respect and 2 pieces of fried chicken. Thanks LOVES - for NOT making me feel the the thing I just flushed down the toilet. (Flying J does not get it - nor have it.) WORD TO TRUCKERS - GO WHERE YOU FEEL THE LOVE!!! - sincerely, Sarah K.

The place is nice. Great food and the cashiers up in the front are really nice. Came in tonight to get a shower though and it was not clean. Toilet paper on the floor and trash left in the trash can. There was a issue though between a person up front and the maintenance guy about the showers. The guy up front got onto him about not cleaning the showers right and the maintenance person got hostile about it when the cashier was calm about asking him to do his job right.

By far the absolute best Pilot Flying J I have ever been to, and I’ve been to a lot! I didn’t get to shower but judging by the bathrooms I think it’s safe to say the showers were great too. The food you ask? Well the Arby’s shut down. I’m pretty sure it’s because the fresh hot food inside put Arby’s to shame. I had to call my momma to see if she got a job at Flying J as a chef. That food was fantastic, fresh as hell, and hot. It wasn’t the usual brown, almost black on the edges from sitting in the warmer too long, meatloaf you see everywhere else. I could go on but I know you want to know about other stuff. The store was spotless! No mess at the coffee counter, no overflowing trash inside or out, spotless. The parking is minimal but easy in and out. Even the parking lot was clean. The staff were funny, engaging and very nice. I LOVE this store. Bravo Flying J!

Whole store is nice, only issue i have is they don’t refresh the food on display. They will let the pizza sit there until it sells even if it’s been there all day. After an hour, throw it away and make a fresh one!!!

My first time going here and though it was awesome I love the cinnamon bun and the store was very clean and the employees were friendly but I have to say they r pretty pricey

They don’t allow to stay overnight at regular parking. Have been driving here for 15hr starlit and then “you need to leave”. If you are on a cargo Van just don’t go there

Very clean showers! I am a passenger of a over the road truck driver and we take team showers came in no wait time and unbelievable how clean the shower room was! Came in for food but had no cheese pizza or pretzels out but did have a delicious Cinnabon!

ALWAYS I MEAN ALWAYS a long line to pay and forget about trying to get some food. Stood in a long line to pay for fuel while a couple of guys where trying to get some breakfast. One lady on the register while the other ones outside on smoke break outside. It was terrible. Its bad enough that the diesel is always over priced but now long waits and bad service

Very bad experience, tell me why we fill up, shower there, park unhuck the trailer, went to the restaurant to eat, come back and the trailer gone, this people from the store have call the wrecker to pick up our trailer because according to them, the trailer was abandoned, 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 I was like are you serious, we just left to eat, we have to drive 30 minutes to get it back and of course pay $500.00 this flying J is full of #*&% and the manager the work there, they probably share the money plain scam. So disappointed, angry, mad, because this is my city, and we go all over USA and never, nothing like this happen before nowhere. I will not give no stars at all, but if I dont they wont post this message look at signs so pathetic. BE CAREFUL TRUCK DRIVERS

They dont wear gloves to handle food, some guy really rudely said they dont have to cause they wash their hands so either order or go somewhere else

Cashier is extremely rude

They have a large car damaging hole in the middle of the entrance that has been there for months.This is a clean place, with nice people, and good food.They also almost never have receipt paper in the gas pumps.I think they make enough money to fix these problems.

Horrible place, no compassion! I understand there is a coin shortage going on, but I had a flat and just needed to get change (4 quarters) to put air in order to get home and was told no. I explained my situation and that I had my kids with me and was totally ignored! I’m sure 4 quarters wouldn’t have killed them!

I was told that I need to pay for my parking spot. There is not a sign that says reserved parking. I have paid for reserved parking before at this location and other locations. I did not intend on paying for parking tonight. There is no sign up indicating that this spot needed a reservation. There is no indication on the ground nor hanging on the back of the gate. I had to pay $16 for a parking spot that did not have a sign. I am in spot 20 and there are only 17 spots that say reserved. My question is whats to stop them from charging the entire truck stop if there are no rules to how things are done.

Good clean Pilot but a very loud humming noise all day and night from the chemical plant behind the truck stop.

Been visiting this store for over four years now and will not be coming back. The store use to be really clean, quick and have friendly cashiers. It has turned into a loves, with homeless people taking over the parking spots and the management not caring about how the store looks. What happened to the current management here, that kept this place going?

Enjoyed clean facilities. Got a quick bite before heading out. Staff was helpful and friendly. It was late but there were still a variety of hot foods and fresh salads. Prices were reasonable as well. Kudos to the flying hook? Well done.

This location is of the newer design. It was clean, spacious and well organized. In addition to their store brand of deli and comfort food, they had an Auntie Annes pretzel and Cinnabon concessions located together in a central kiosk. They also had plenty of seating, so you can relax while enjoying your meal.

This Flying J is an even bigger joke than the dump on I45. At least up there they havent run the restaurant off. I tried numerous times here to get a salad or a steak burger. Was told that their cook doesnt know how to make them.They tow vehicles off to impound if theyre parked in the same spot for over 24hrs. Yet they allow dropped trailers and cars holding spots.The two reasons that I gave 1 star are clean showers and they have laundry here.

My licence plate has a disabled person’s stickerand, by law, I can stand anywhere and as long as I want to but the manager kicked me out saying that this is a private territory and they spat on federal laws.

By far the best truck stop I have been to so far. Everything is very clean, the showers are huge, there is a very big selection of everything here and its not massively overpriced like alot of these places, the employees are really nice and respectful. The only complaint that I would have is it needs more parking but they did good with the space they had.

The young gentleman working the cafe is an awesome asset here to Flying J with a warm welcoming persona he brings. I am delighted to come to Flying J’s and eat my home brought lunch. I however have aten their country fried steak with gravy and 2 sides (mashed potatoes+ Mac and cheese) ‘‘twas delicious and filling. The prices however are a bit too high for the average consumer. 10$ for 2-24 cases of water... jaw dropping. Love it here though they hand out free samples on occasion and their staff is enthusiastic!

This is definitely not the best Flying J truck stops Ive been to. First off, trucks who wore finished fueling wouldnt pull forward. Second, the parking lot for trucks is small. Theres a big empty field right next to the Flying J that could have been bought to expand the parking. Third, the pre-made hamburgers they have tasted like they had been there for hours. They definitely wore not fresh. Overall, this Flying J was a disappointment.

Two of the employees working here today as of August 4th, 4:20 am were extremely rude upon checking out, they were both busy having a casual conversation with each other while I aproached the register. The lady just looked at me bothered, checked my items while both were still having a conversation. I waited since the pay screen told me to keep waiting, the two girls went silent and the other one told me I was good in a rude manner. There only interest shown was talking to each other.

Ive been coming to Texas on and off, never found a truck stop thats as clean and friendly as this one. They always have a good selection of stuff, and the staff is always welcoming. Their food is also underrated

Expensive for no reason. Stopped by going to job site and one Gaterade 2.79 just one. They are a dollar at grocery store. understand convenience but this is robbery. Avoid at all cost. Plan ahead and save money.

If you want to stay at this flying J get a reserved parking spot ahead of time.Even with that people tend to park anywhere and it makes some of the spots hard to get into. Other than that stores not that bad.

PUT THE WRONG DIESEL PRICE EVERYTIME

Place is clean with good customer service. Their chicken tenders with fries tasted great. Huge showers compared to other pilots/fjs out there.

Restrooms were clean. Good selection of snacks and beverages. Store was clean. The cashiers were rude. Didnt greet us didnt tell us about a special we were missing out on because of what we were purchasing. Told me shoes on the lids was policy there was a sign on the door. There was no sign. When I made a remark. The guy rolled his eyes and said Holy moly if they fall its not our problem. Very rudely. The lady barely spoke to me.

I love that I’ll make a fresh pizza even if you’re just fine a slice of the pizza that’s there’s been out for a while. And I love how quiet it is at night and not busy like both truckstops are. Their showers need some maintenance most definitely some don’t have fans or the showerheads spray everywhere they shouldn’t.

Fantastic customer service and wonderful showers! My water heater just went out and it was a life saver! Madison was stellar!

Sam & Jackie are a great joy and pleasure to be around! Their friendly interactions with the customers makes the along day on the road well worth the stop at this location. Their customer service is impeccable. They go above and beyond the call of duty to see that your experience here is a good one.

Place is clean and fresh, multiple check out lanes including self serve. Could definitely use more parking. UPDATE . Dont bother with shower #2 no water pressure at all. I did not have this issue in the other showers I used here. If you get #2 ask for another

I just call and talked with Jacob told him nicely WiFi stop working out side he is very rude and he said that my problem and I have to call service company that not make any since because he should check first inside office see what is going on and need him take look or restart modem.hope main office see my complain and let thid guy know we are not working for him and give us some respect because u guys nothing with out truck drivers

Clean parking lot. Restrooms were clean. Short staffed like everywhere due to this Covid19 stuff.

Been staying here for about two weeks, as we are coming from Arkansas. What I witnessed over the past days is appalling, especially the way managements treats its employees. There is hardly any hot foods as well on midnights. We are now at a different flying j that has a Denny’s.

This the best truck stop. delicious food but they need to stop packing hot food like French toast with a polyten papers and heat it in a hoven as an advice. This may result in people getting cancer out of these. Please be advised. Otherwise this is my number one truck stop.

I ate here for my lunch break at work. Its really cool and clean. Lots of food and you can use the microwave free. I didnt even but anything here also theres an Arbys. And a shower for truck drivers. They take a number and wait their turn. I didnt even know such places exists. It was really a learning experience.

This place has a variety of snacks and treats. Very clean and well lit. Very clean womans bathroom! Their pizza is delicious! Best gas station experience ever.

I love the size of the shower room. Unfortunately the electric outlets didnt work, so I couldnt finish getting ready and It was very muggy due to no fan. It definitely was not a great or good experience.

The music inside the Flying J is so loud upon walking in, its hard to think. Staff cant hear you ask questions, you have to repeat yourself until you feel like you are yelling... Turn the music down so customers can interact with staff without yelling!The store is clean and spacious - it looks like its a relatively new location. The pretzel place and cinnabon were not open at all while I was here - 5 PM to around 7 AM. Not sure what the hours for that are. The food on the hot food bar was cold and hard, as if it had been sitting out for hours. Yuck! There was $10 wasted on food that went into the trash. Would be nice to have HOT, FRESH, and decent food after a long 14 hour day on the road!

I went here thinking that I was going to get Arbys but Arbys is no longer located in the Flying J Travel Center. They do have hot meals and pizza. Because of the food selection they have is very good and I will be back! The service was excellent and they got you in-and-out very quickly!

You dont have to pay for parking. Park in front of the people that pay for parking. Go ahead. Really cram in there three deep oh, theres a cop to enforce all those no parking signs. There he goes.

All the staff are SOOOOO NICE. I go in there and ask if they can spare some quarters because I live across the street and run out of change for laundry sometimes. They NEVER give me a hard time about the quarters. They are understanding. I love it there.

I think my original rating was a total accident I dont remember doing it actually.But anyways I love these gas stations each and every one that Ive gone too have never let me down. I love the pizzas and cinnabons! The bathroom here are clean and the food always seems fresh! I love pilots and Flying Js travel center since I travel more on this side I have been stopping more often and Ive never been let down. Clean restroom, the food is good. Only thing is that the beer is never ICED Down in the cooler. Heineken is better Served on ice. The 2/$5 is a deal but Ive walked away to go to the shell station that has Heineken on ice Because you guys ice was melted down

Super clean facilities here. Clean restrooms as well. The staff seems to work kind of slow but are overall very nice. There is an attached Arbys restaurant to the building as well as a Cinnobon. Both of those offer quick service and the food prep areas looked to be well maintained. One of the nicest locations Ive stepped foot in.

Been going to this Truck stop since in opened in 2016. Very friendly and courteous staff. Great food really good drivers lounge. Very large showers. They are over priced but thats Pilot and flying just for ya

Will never park here again. The company uses a tow truck operator with an illegal siren installed on his truck. Every morning the driver intead of knocking on doors of those illegally parked plays with his siren in the parking lot waking up every single driver in the entire place.

The lady manager on duty overnight lied to me. She said she had just caught up with cleaning the showers when I asked for on. Well, there was dead skin and nail clippings in the waste basket and absolutely no shower gel. I did the best I could since with the hand soap. When I told her my concerns she blamed her maintenance guy who had to leave early for not properly cleaning the showers after telling me that she was the one that was all caught up, she offered me a free fountain drink coffee for my troubles.

Its by far the cleanest truck stop Ive been to.

The Arbys employees not very friendly. They lost track of my order and you cant get their attention. The sandwich maker had tossed it aside because there was nothing on the screen about my order. When they finally found it the less than friendly employee handed it over. No apology, no sorry about that. It was transaction number10186713 for the record. Wont ever go there again.

Quick stop with 2 restaurants. Always busy. Has good security. Expensive prices though. Lots of gas pumps and is easy to see from the freeway. However the freeway exit is easy to miss if traffic is thick

Not a good truck stop service store

Best coffee. I fell in love with their coffee on a road trip east. Location after location varied on other aspects of the establishment, but one thing remained constantly excellent ... the coffee. The coffee is the reason I would stop at all flying j/pilot centers across the country and its the reason I return again and again.

WHEN MY order was ready! But nobody there told me. ( even took me name when ordering) after everyone else got theirs, I asked 4 my food! He employs told me it there & pointed 2 ta counter! Daw cold a$$ sandwich! Wat BS!!! Wont B back!!

At the time we are living in its a shame that the store doesnt have hand soap. The employees said it was stolen. You can still go to another Pilot and get soap or have some shipped next day priority.

I normally dont have a good flying j experience but this place was different and Devin R you are the hardest worker there. Thanks!
