Lemme tell yall, Chris is the absolute best. Friendly, honest guy with absolutely no BS. As a young woman, car shopping can be a nightmare with some dealerships and its demoralizing. But Chris was very helpful & I was also shocked that the prices listed online are the CASH prices, which is unheard of when looking online for a used car. Last week I purchased a new Honda at Baron Honda. I am not a fan of going to car dealerships based on past experiences. All those negative feelings changed when I went to this dealership. From the second I walked in the door I was treated with respect and kindness - not like a number or meal ticket. This is my far the worst dealership I’ve ever dealt with! The salesperson was not clear on prices and even upped the price and straight lied to us. Online and sticker has one price and they up it. We traded in our car and we were lied to for how much we were getting! The finance manager was shady and completely lied about everything! They stole money! Will be contacting a lawyer and making sure they don’t do that to anyone again! Horrible business ran by horrible individuals who do nothing but lie!

Came in, was trying to shop and just see prices, was going to compare with other stores, John Jack greeted me and completely took the time to hear what I was looking for, asked a lot of questions to get an idea cause again, no clue, was just shopping. Explained that I was only price comparing, he understood and gave me no pressure unlike the salesman I encountered at the last store. Well we went through the vehicles, and he explained how popular the CR-V is, so I decided to try it, took the test drive, and happy to say I signed right there. Fell inlove with it right away, and John absolutely made that happen, he was very knowledgeable. Met the manager Jory, very friendly, very professional. If you get the chance to go to this store, John was an incredible and very professional salesman, but the whole place looked to be very welcoming, so deff 5 stars! Also very happy with my new CR-V!

I’ve been leasing Honda’s for the past 15 years from another local dealer until I found out that they had been taken over by new ownership and when it came time for me to get into a new Pilot lease they just seemed like they couldn’t be bothered and had no desire to sell me a car. A friend of mine recommended that I give Baron Honda a call. I spoke with a very nice women named Jenn and we discussed lease options on a new 2021 Pilot. I was very happy with the price so I decided to make an appointment to visit the dealership and see if we could make a deal. Jenn set me up with a gentleman by the name of Joseph Turner and just like she said nothing changed everything we discussed over the phone was the same when I got there. No bait and switch here. Directly with them or through the dealer. Alert: The dealer wanted $75.00 filing fee and $389.00 document preparation fee. To avoid those costs i paidOff Honda Financial directly. received the bill of sale title etc. I went to the DMV filed the paperwork And paid the &50.00 filing fee. Saved over $400.00. Is Greed the word?
I went here to test drive a Honda Civic I told Steve I wasnt in a rush to get a car right now I was going to look at some other cars in other places he said ok why dont we run your credit to see what your score is I said ok only once he said ok this shyster run it three more times that four times I cant stand dishonest people. I will never buy any car here ever I end up getting a Nissan a huntington because Nissan 112 are a bunch of Shyster too.

I have serviced my vehicles here before but todays service put a bad taste in my mouth. One of the services they did today was a inspection but when he finished she said you need wipers to pass inspection when I told her no she said I would fail inspection and still have to pay. As a respectable service center who value their clients they would tell me about the wipers first instead of after emissions test. But no they want you to buy over priced items. Also the service guy used all washer fluid in the reservoir that I filled previous day before going to test condition of wipers. These guys are trying to make up profit lost during covid closures.

I recommend calling in advance and looking for Phil N. He took care of me and went the extra mile to work with my budget. Had 2 tires replaced due to a bubble in one of the tires. 3 days later a new bubble appears. I call Baron Honda to see what they can do. NOTHING AKA sell me a full price replacement on a 3 day old tire.My last set of tires were from Mavis and lasted 60k miles. There was an issue about a month in and Macis fixed the problem and prorated me for the tire.You would think going to Honda to take care of a Honda would be a no brainer.Thanks for nothing! I’ll be going to Mavis from now on.
My wife and I went to this dealership last weekend, hoping to leave with a receipt for a deposit on (what would soon be), our new car. Unfortunately things did not go as planned. We arrived in the afternoon and was met by a salesperson (I dont recall his name). It was late in the afternoon when we arrived to the dealership, about an before closing. So, we didnt take it it personal when we noticed the rep wasnt too personable. We looked at several cars within our budget, and we test drove three (3) cars. Each of the three (3) cars made noises that were very noticeable, one had over a dozen scratches throughout both sides of the car. When we inquired as to whether the scratches would be removed, he replied Yes. We can fix it. But I would have to charge you $300 if we have it done. The rep was willing to deduct a few hundred dollars from the price. But, he was unwilling to negotiate on the prep fee (which imo is B.S.). If Im going to pay prep fees to a dealer, its going to be for a new car. I found it disheartening to know that we are in a Honda Dealership, looking to buy a certified Pre-owned vehicle (these are mainly lease-end sales), and they would actually deem these cares Sale Ready, show them to customers, and allow them to be test driven, without addressing the most obvious repairs FIRST! And, have the audacity to prominently display signs that read: Certified Pre-owned HONDA. After spending over an hour, and test driving 3 cars, we decided to explore our options at other Hond dealerships. Honda makes a great product. Ive had the pleasure of buying a brand new Honda Accord 11 years ago, and we absolutely loved and enjoyed all 170k miles that we amassed over the last 11 years. So, we will not allow our experience with Baron Honda to dissuade us from purchasing another Honda. We just WONT buy a used Honda from Baron Honda.Teddy

I have been waiting almost two weeks for my car. I paid for the car and got insurance. My car is sitting at the dealership with my insurance on it. I am very upset with the customer service. I have been calling and no one is giving me any information about the car or when I will be getting the car. I need a car for work. The sell men gave me his card with his number and he has not answered any of my calls or text in the last few days. I also have been asking for a manger to call me and no calls. Also every time I had talk to someone they tell me the car will be ready soon. I am not happy with the way they have been treating me. I have gone there two different times because they told me the car was ready to pick up . Then when I get there I waited two hours for them to tell me the is not ready to leave the dealership. I have been hoping they would give me some compensation for the wait but they said I can only get a free one time 50$ oil change which is nothing. I have been paying for 50$ to 60$ taxi rides to and from work and paying on insurance on this car. I am going to get my money back and go to a different dealership. I would never go there if i was you.
My experience at Baron Honda was amazing. Bought a used CRV and usually I hate going to car dealers, even when there is no pandemic to contend with. Everyone was professional and helpful from the first minute we walked in the door. Our salesman Tony was fair, transparent and no pressure. He was the best car salesman I have ever experienced in the 40 years I have been driving. Even the finance manager Joe was no pressure and friendly and professional. I am thankful for all their help in these trying times. They made you feel like family. Was refreshing and maybe other companies should take note about quality business practices. Thank you to everyone at Baron Honda.Updating...since this original posting we have now helped one of our son’s get a car here as well. He does not live out here so we decided to help him find a car, we wanted the same salesman Tony, and again were treated like family. My son got a good used car at a fair deal. We plan on staying with this dealership. We only have one other son, who is also in need of a car, If we find one he is interested in, we’ll be going back again for a third time to help him find another good used car at a fair price.

They literally lied to me about how my fico score was way below 700, tried to sell me a loan with a 9.79% intrest rate, when I went somewhere else and told me my score was much higher and could get a loan with a 4.09% intrest rate. Oh also threatened to sue me. Oh and the tires they fixed to be inspection ready, blew out THE NEXT DAY.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!. They are unethical and unresponsive! I leased a 2020 Honda CRV from this dealership on 11/9/20 and left the 2017 CRV that I was replacing at Baron Honda to be returned to the leasing company. As part of my negotiation with them they said they would fix the interior driver seat. Before I left the vehicle I had them inspect the car for any other damages and I requested and received from them a statement attesting to the fact that there was no damage to the CRV other than the seat. After the leasing company received the vehicle they sent me a picture of a smashed rear tail light and charged me $297 to repair it. As there was no damage to the tail light when I left the car at Baron Honda, I called the dealership to request reimbursement. I was given the run around and ultimately I was told they are not responsible-too bad! The salesman was Phil who always had excuses for everything. The manager was Dominick who never returned any of my calls.DONT EVER BUY OR LEASE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!

Gave me discounted bill and went over everything. Have only been going to Baron Honda for service for years. My daughter bought her new car and only uses Baron for service. Three years ago we had such a wonderful experience at Baron Honda, our salesman was great and we walked out the same day leasing a CRV. This summer our Son was in the market for a car, we went back to Baron. Again and exceptional experience and my Son bought himself a beautiful used Civic. We return last month to return our CVR with plans to lease a newer one and had one of the worst experiences. The staff was very unprofessional and hardly returned our calls. We spoke with a manager, who was just as unprofessional. He gave us his word that we would have our car in a couple of days and he would personally call us the next day. Instead he had someone else call us and basically told us that they were pulling out of the deal and would be refunding our deposit. Which by the way took over two weeks to receive. Unbelievable for a well respected dealership.

My experience with Baron Honda was very disappointing for the fact that we ended up settling for a different color model from the one promised to us all the way up until to the delivery. It felt like a bait and switch scam on the car color. Much of the process was frustrating.I’m a first time car buyer, so I was pretty nervous about being scammed, given what I’ve heard about this industry over the many years. We were looking for a car to be able to visit friends and family, and provide some relief from being in NYC because of the COVID. We were looking for a 2020 Honda Civic EX-L hatchback in Sonic Pearl Gray.I contacted Jenna (Jen) Goldstein. I accidentally sent her a link for another NJ dealership in the color Aegean Blue Metallic, but I figured she would know which was the correct link for her own dealership. She corrected herself for thinking it was another customer with same car for their husband but in Aegean blue. She reassured me it was the Sonic Gray Pearl EX-L.I was still waiting on her financing offer over the long weekend and was worried if we would get the car on Tuesday. Then on Tuesday morning, the day of the scheduled delivery, Tony tells me that his drivers are out that day and the delivery will be tomorrow. This severely inconvenienced my work and personal plans that I had made.On top of this, he clarified that the lower financing was not allowed with my model. He said I could do a wire transfer but it could take 3 business days.If you can get the check in hand it can be done tomorrow. Otherwise we have to wait until the funds are in our account which can take 3 business days.” Many branches were closed because of COVID. This seemed unnecessary. I called my loan officer and confirmed that Baron Honda is a preferred dealer with my bank and it should just be a “sign and drive.”After sharing this, Tony offers me a slightly lower rate if I come to do the dealership in person and sign electronically. I asked, why can’t it be online if it’s electronic? He gave no reason other than it’s the only way. He said it’s just an offer to save me money when it really was to save him money on the delivery costs. I wasn’t going to pay to rent a car or cab. I declined.The next morning, he texts me and says, “Before the driver leaves I just want to be certain of the color.Should be dark gray?”Jenna also messages me and says the car is ready, and sends a picture of the car in POLISHED METAL METALLIC. I call her immediately and tell her this is not the correct color. She then blames her mistake on me for accidentally sending her an incorrect link I mentioned earlier, which didn’t make any sense because that car was in Aegean Blue Metallic from a random NJ dealership! Wow. I tell her this is absolutely unprofessional and frustrating that they still haven’t gotten it correct right before sending their driver.She texts me after, “I understand your frustration I do again want to apologize for all the miscommunication on my part and for Tony I am not a salesperson but I have been trying my best to make sure everything has gone smoothly for you.”Either this is a bait and switch, or they are incompetent in their communication, which I dont believe. They know what they’re doing. Maybe they had the 2 Sonic Gray Pearl models like they claimed, but other customers offered a higher price, so they went with them instead of my negotiated price. Or maybe they just wanted to target me for another reason. I’ll never know.We settled on the Polished Metallic Metal. It was the only one they had left they said and we really needed the car as soon as possible. They probably knew this and took advantage of it.The delivery and signing went smoothly, surprisingly. (No check needed!) The car was clean and functional. We’re just happy to have a car, despite all our plans being pushed back that week.I wouldnt buy from Baron Honda again or recommend them. I’m glad this incredibly frustrating experience is over. Hopefully, I don’t have to purchase a car again for a long time.
Went in for a manufacturer recall recently and the customer service was spectacular! I originally intended on dropping my car off early in the morning but was forced to change my appointment last minute and had to remain with the car at Baron Honda. It was no issue whatsoever. The staff were courteous, accommodating and informative.
Good experience, had an emission light problem and called on Monday afternoon and got appt for Wed AM. Took only minutes to check in and car was ready before 3 with new set of injectors all covered by warranty.

By far the most professional staff I have dealt with. I am 44 years old. All of the cars and trucks are in mint condition (used and new) on the lot. Very calm and professional staff. Juan was very mature and respectful as were the others in the building at the time I was buying the car. I purchased a used car that was in mint condition at a great price.The photos and most importantly the 360 degree video really shows the true beauty of the condition of the car.I am very pleased with my purchase. About 8 months ago I had no car and had no idea how I was going to get to work each day. I had bad credit and no savings. I was afraid and embarrassed to even go to the dealer because I thought for sure I wouldn’t qualify for a loan. Dustin was so helpful and kind. He made me feel comfortable and at ease through the whole car buying process. The day he called me to let me know I was approved I cried! The next day when I met with Theresa in The Finance department, my experience only got better. She was amazing and made me feel like she truly cared about helping me and my family. Not once did I feel like Dustin And Theresa were trying to sell me a car. Instead I felt like they were there to help me get what I need and to help me and my family the best they could! They are always terrific at Baron Honda. Thats why Im on my 3rd Honda Fit and I wouldnt go anywhere else. The service dept. is always great. They took me right away on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend and fixed the tire pressure so the indicator wouldnt be staring at me! No charge in and out in 15 mins. The best people are at Baron Honda!

They seem very nice and trustworthy but the salesman lied to us about the car fax being clean to sell the car. Shame on us for not asking for proof. Car had HUGE problems. We dumped money into it within 6 months of buying and the owner refuses to take responsibility for a cent. We even agreed to buy a new car from him but he would not budge. This place doesnt stand by their cars. I should add that I had just had my son a few weeks prior to this and had him in tote. As a very distracted mother of a newborn I recently realized I was taken advantage of.

Just like any other dealership, the truth always comes to light!!!! I bought a 2013 car in 2018 with the ORIGINAL TIRES still on!!!! 600 dollars later I had to buy a whole new set of tires along with a wheel alignment because I literally slid off the road!! REALLY CHECK THE CAR YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BEFORE YOU BUY IT!! They told me everything was brand new and they had just fixed everything. Obviously they are liars and should NOT be trusted. Paid way too much money for this car and the tires are not even the only problem. I also need new brake pads, new brake system and new shocks! I wonder what else will start showing up. Ridiculous. Never again and I will notify all my friends/family too.
I live in central islip, ny and I bring my car to Baron all the time. They always discuss with you what you need before they work on the car always customer friendly even with the nasty customers (the ones with no $$$) and as long as my Honda keeps moving Baron will keep getting the money.

I recently had our second experience in early December with Baron Honda a few weeks ago when shopping for a car for my sister and could not be more pleased how everything was handled by Joe and Dominic. I am really not sure why there are negative reviews posted about this dealership because we have had 2 extremely positive experiences here. if you are looking for a Honda please take a minute and go see Joe and you wont be disappointedI went in and spoke with Dominic the manager and within a few minutes he not only got me where I needed to be and then introduced me to a salesman named Joe who was extremely professional and polite. I went back the next day and picked up a CRV with no issues, problems or concerns because of the way Joe handled everything . my advice to you is if you are looking for a honda you should go talk with Joe and you will be pleasently suprised

I had the pleasure of working with Dustin Resto last week during my new lease purchase. I was coming from another company and he made the whole process go smoothly. There was no pressure when it came to looking at cars and talking numbers. I left with the Civic sport and I am very happy with that choice. I would highly recommend to friends and family that they should go speak with Dustin because of his awesome personality and eagerness to make you feel comfortable during the buying process. Everyone at Baron was cheerful and answered all the questions I had.
GO ELSEWHERE. This service was awful. Labor cost is 200 dollars per hour and my car didnt even end up getting fixed. Took it to another mechanic and they said that the thing I got fixed wasnt even done correctly. Wont be coming back to this repair shop. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

My experience today at Baron Honda was excellent. From the minute we entered the dealer parking lot, help was available and present. David was excellent. He and the rest of the crew there made this shopping experience smooth. David answered all our questions, was very helpful and courteous. He made us feel comfortable, which in turn made everything flow right. Just finished buying my 3rd car from Baron Honda. As always everything was fast and went smoothly. This time I had the pleasure of buying from Dustin. Definitely one of the best car buying experiences Ive ever had. He was extremely helpful and friendly. He made sure I was completely satisfied with the car. Even after the sale was complete he took the time to go over every feature the car had and how they worked. Therese the finance manager was also very pleasant to deal with. Nobody at Baron Honda is every pushy and they make sure you get what you want. I will continue to buy all my future cars from Baron.
Amazing people! Dustin was the very best sales expert I have ever encountered. The atmosphere was calm and tranquil. I felt comfortable and confident the whole time I was there. Definitely buying from them again.
The service team is nice. I like working with them. They provide complementary lunch, clear assessments and estimates, and Im usually in and out during the time given. The service is pricey, so think carefully what work is necessary. I use coupons as much as I can. With that said, I appreciate the peace of mind from shopping at Honda for some things.
I recently got my Honda CRV serviced there and it was a very friendly service centre, booked timing in advance and reached on time, they did oil change and maintenance inspection and guided me on few things about my car.Good experience and reasonable price.NY inspection also got done later and it was quick. Waiting area was with gud seating options with TV, coffee etc
The people working here are very rude. They didnt ask me if it was ok to do the select work and just went a head and did it WITHOUT MY CONSENT. And forced me to pay for it since its done already. Front desk people dont have any pacience and acted agressively towards me. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Went to parts department and met John behind counter. I was in need of a part and I must say he was one of the rudest people I have ever met. I asked him when the part would come if I ordered it and he barked at me. He made me feel very uncomfortable so I went elsewhere to purchase the part. This guy is a complete jerk. I will NEVER go back. Good luck. I own my own business and I would send him directly to the back of the unemployment line.
Have not bought there (yet). The salesman was very helpful, attentive to the buyer (I was there for emotional support) and absolutely not pushy. Well certainly return to Baron to purchase a vehicle.Update: We did buy a vehicle (2016 Honda CRV). The experience was great. No real surprises during the actual purchase and we love the car.
Have been going here for years, always gets the job done for a price thats reasonable.

The salesman, Joe Turner, was a pleasure to work with and he was very different from other car salesmen I have worked with in the past. No high pressure sales tactics, which made my wife and I feel we were being treated like customers and not numbers. I am very pleased with the service I receive at Baron. There is another Honda dealership closer to my house, but Id rather drive a little further.I leave one star to indicate that the problem - exposed wires in the switch in mens bathroom hasnt been fixed even through I mentioned that to the service people at least twice - over the course of a few months. Its a danger. A simple $2 plate would solve that.I will change this rating to 5 as the service deserves, once the electrical danger is eliminated.
Since I didnt make an appointment.I got there early. They took my car in as soon as they could.. They were very professional with a very pleasant attitude. Im very pleased with the work that was done.Ive been going there for a while and will continue taking both of my cars there.Thank you
Didnt fix my car issues as claimed when I took it to another mechanic. These people are liars. I would not recommend this Honda repair shop.
I went here with my husband to purchase a car and had such a great, relaxing experience. Jack was amazing, super knowledgeable and really showed he cared about getting us the best and affordable deal. Jack Curran was warm, pleasant and very professional. I usually do not take time out to give a review but the overall experience of financing my first car was great! He was very clear and helpful. My husband is a Veteran and Jack took that into consideration when getting us the best deal. He even went out of his way to make the experience fun for my 5 year old son which was a huge plus. I would definitely refer others to Baron Honda and tell them to ask for Jack!

Rob always greets us with a smile and a warm hello. He is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Rob is attentive to our requests and always comes back with numbers that meet our budget. He makes sure that we are comfortable with our purchase and assures us that we can call him any time with questions. Rob does a great job of explaining every thing before we drive away. We are very happy with our 2018 Honda Accord. It is a VERY SWEET RIDE!
