FIVE stars to the staff member Amanda. I apologize I do not have her last name. Since moving here several years ago I have used Davis Visionworks. At times Amanda has helped me directly, adjusting my glasses. I was at once taken by how friendly and helpful she was. The last time I visited I had an issue another staff was challenged in resolving. Amanda stepped forward and took care of it for me; and did so in a way that did not insult her colleague. She has one of the most pleasant dispositions, so although I rarely write reviews I wanted to be sure I did so for Amanda.

Nice place to visit for your vision testing, good doctors and staff. i will recommend to visit once to experience the difference between the other vision store you must have visited in past.

Employee Jamie Buono was completely inappropriate in all possible aspects. I will be contacting corporate to make a formal complaint. Ive been doing business with vision works for almost 20 years- at several locations and have never encountered unprofessionalism at this level. Let alone from an assistant manager.

Selection was great! The wait was 2 hours long and the man who helped me was horrible. Not only did he insult me about wearing bi focals! He also was rude to the lady next to me that was also there 2 hours and very frustrated! Think they should have better service.

I went in for a yearly check up and I was concerned about the amount of floaters I’ve been having recently. The doctor scanned my retina and explained every inch of the photo to me to show how my eyes are fine. He put me at such ease and really took his time. The woman who sold me the glasses didn’t try to scam me or upsell me unnecessarily, wasn’t pushy at all. I’ve ALWAYS had terrible eye doctors, such a relief going to a good doctor and Ill be going back every year going forward.

My Husband and I went to the Patchogue location and it was great. The Dr was very nice, thorough and professional. The reason I decided to write this review was because of Briana. She was amazing so friendly and professional. It seems like lately whenever we deal with people in different businesses they also seem to have attitudes, nasty an act like your bothering them ! Not Briana she the first person in a long time that was so sweet and willing to explain everything ! THANK YOU BRIANA

Let me tell everyone a little story about how there are still many good and caring people out in the world today. I wont provide all the details but I will share that Briana, who is the optician, and Jamie, the sales associate, are wonderful people!!! I would not have been able to get my license renewed within the necessary timeframe this month if both these caring ladies did not go out of their way to assist me. From not being able to get through on the phone to just showing up at their door, neither of them flinched. It is people like them that help other good people remember that inspite of all the negative noise out there in the world today that goodness always wins out!!! You could not pick a better place to have your eyes cared for than from Davis Vision, and their team of people who work there, making a difference in many peoples lives. They are the best!!! Thank you so much ladies for taking care of me!!!!

I came into the store to have my glasses adjusted. I bought them at a different glasses store, not Visionworks. Michael Valenti, from the Patchogue store adjusted them perfectly and I can see better out of them. He was knowledgeable and professional. I bought a new pair too! I’m a happy camper! Thank you!

My first experience getting glasses was 3 years ago at the Medford location and I was hesitant to go back because I felt very rushed through my exam and the whole process. So I went to the patchogue location and so glad I did. Totally different experience from the moment I walked through the door. Very welcoming, my exam with Dina was informative and pleasant. The associate who helped me find the correct frames I wanted went above and beyond . I picked up my new glasses today and had them adjusted perfectly.

Have been coming here for 3 years now. Service is always great! Staff is attentive and helpful, doctors are quick and efficient, and they always find a way to get you the glasses you want for a reasonable price. Amanda helped me on this last visit and I couldn’t be happier with the customer service.

Extreme wait times. impossible to schedule a appointment online and regardless of time of day.... no answer to phone calls, even after 30 minutes of waiting. Sad customer service in every way

No one has picked up the phone when I try and call numerous times and to schedule an appointment online, will not work for some reason.

Great service, very helpful! I had a hard time finding a place that would work with my insurance and prescription. But they were professional and everything finally worked out! Having glasses that are affordable and comfortable just makes everyday life easier. Thank you!

Very unhappy with this place. The guy who answered the phone was very condescending and rude. Would not recommend at all.

Made my appointment online only a few days ahead of time. I was seen for an eye exam on time. Doctor was courteous and professional. Seemed honest about my prescription needs. He did not push me to get a new prescription or get extra tests done. The sales rep helped me find frames in my budget that suited me. He also helped me determine the best price (insurance or one of their promotions). He was polite and helpful. He offered me a copy of my prescription. He also explained the warranty on the glasses. I have not received my glasses yet, but was very happy with the service I received in the store.

Amazing customer service. The General Manager, Michael Valenti goes above and beyond to ensure you receive the best service possible. Went in looking for new classes that I needed in a timely manner for work and walked out for two new pairs the same day with great deals. Highly recommend.

My family and I have been going to Visionworks for a few years now and have had such a great experience with the staff. Specifically Dina Vargas and Mike Valenti. Dina is a knowledgeable, thorough and kind professional who is wonderful with both adults and children. She uncovered an incorrect prescription that my son received from another facility and resolved his issues immediately. Mike is always willing to step out from his back office to assist on the floor with complex technical issues that I had with my frames. Keep up the great work Dina and Mike. I recently had an eye exam & ordered eye glasses at this location. They have a large selection and the optician, Debbie, was very nice & took the time to ensure I was happy with my choice. The staff was friendly, & I had a great experience here. I highly recommend this Vision works location.

They were fantastic. The eye exam was quick and easy. There was no pressure picking out my glasses and they were able to get them to me that day.

My experience here was amazing. Diana specifically was very helpful. They got me in and out with the optometrist, helped me pick out glasses in my price range, and the gentleman who helped complete my order was amazing as well. I am very happy that I switched over to Visionworks when my previous vision eyeglass store failed to provide reasonably priced eyeglasses. Jamie was really kind and patient and helped me. This place was absolutely amazing from the start. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The optometrist and optimologist were kind, patient, and happy assist. Compared to the prices I paid at Lencrafters, I saved hundreds of dollars. My eye exam, choosing frames, and finding the right contacts were all easy tasks at vision works! So happy I found this place!

Great place. Dont even think of going to Cohens which is right near it. The prices here are so much better(by hundreds), plus the staff is great.

This is the most amazing eye glasses place I’ve been to. I always get my glasses from them and they give them to me the same day with my prescription (Which is really strong) My glasses broke right before my warentee was up and they fixed them for me no problem in 10 minuets and I didn’t even have an appointment. The staff here is also very nice

This place was very polite the lady I spoke to was very nice and polite to be specific her name was Jamie. She was polite she even voted on the billboards for me. I’m very happy with the decision of picking Davis vision of Patchogue very well done thank you for the time.

Away from home and my right lens fell out of my frames. Found Davis Visionworks in Patchogue and asked them for help. Got immediate attention and my glasses were fixed in a jiffy, making sure that all screws were tight and at no charge. Very pleased with my experience and the staff.

The Optometrist was average... wait time average...however reason for writing the review is acknowledge the Amanda, who helped me choose frames, pricing, insurance ect.. She is happy, helpful, cheerful and compassionate. Ask for her when you go...it makes the task bearable and actually enjoyable!!! Thank you Amanda..Great job!!

My family has been using visionworks for a while now and theyre really happy with it I personally dont have glasses but its a very well-established complex, they display their models of the glasses openly and allow you to get the exams and everything that you need there no going to the doctors office 😁

Went in to replace a pair of frames for my 12 y/o son that were still under warranty. It was already very hot a 9:50am and the manager let us come in and sit down in the A/C until they were officially open to help us. They did not have the frames in stock but the girl who helped us, (I believe her neme is Stephanie) called different locations until she was able to find one that had the frames in stock. She gave me the address and faxed over the work order so when I got there they would have everything they needed. I would like to give 5/5 stars but there was one man there that I overheard say to Stephanie not to waste all morning calling stores for one customer, and that they had other customers to attend to. There was only one other customer in the store at this time and they were already being assisted by another associate. Overall I was very satisfied with this location and will most likely return in the future

Sat with Jamie and she was just wonderful. Told me things about the glasses that the other visionworks I went to never did. Will definetly be making this my new go to place.

The customer service here is friendly and the sales representative thourougly explained my choices to me. I didnt even know poly was an option for my glasses because I have a high prescription. Also, the sales representative made sure I saved the most money. Davis Visionworks in Patchogue is the place to go!

Its a really great staff here. Ive been to multiple visionwork locations and I can say that I truly enjoyed my experience.. The front desk was friendly. The doctor was thorough and approachable The staff on the floor all wanted to make sure I found the right glasses for my needs. They even had a really great special going for multiple pairs and got a discount on Maui Jims! Scott was a great optician and really knew the products and what waswas was for my situation

The General Mgr Michael Valenti kept trying to steer me to what they want to sell, not what I wanted to buy. I finally found something in frames, a little too big, but their selection is limited. The lenses I wanted I was told 6 days after the purchase that they were not available!! I asked what I could have and Michael V. already knew the only bifocal I could have was what I did not want since the the first visit to the store. No privacy in this little store. Everyone knows your business.

Just want to say thank you to the staff that helped me today and were awesome. Short story . getting ready for work and daughter comes in and says umm I fell asleep with my glasses on and now they are umm maybe broken.....lol they are the spring side ones so I doubt it .well my sausage fingers cant get the tiny screw in and now I gotta leave for work. Walk in t the store I just happened to Google that was on my way in to work and they said sure no problem . No questions asked and even offered a free case since Im sure my daughter doesnt even own one..... Everyone was awesome and friendly. Definitely the type of store or chain I like to see as so many of the mom and popp stores that we used to shop at because of the hospitality and detail to attention are gone. I highly recommend and I I could give you more stars I would. Thank you for the help today .

If I could rate this negative stars, I would. To say I was treated with the utmost disrespect would be an understatement. They wanted me to buy everytrhing through them and refused to give me my prescription after my evaluation. They went so far as to say my evaluation didnt count, after sitting there for an hour and a half getting EVALUATED! Stay away from these crooks. If you have to go to Davis, go to a different location.
