This family is so beautiful and you can see and taste it in their food. Me being Cape Verdean as well I am always greeted by a great smile and wonderful conversation. And the food is always on point.The owner is such an amazing man as is his son and family. Keep up the great work my friends.

My family and I have been in support of this place since it opened. We are a mixed family. Im a capeverdean woman and my fiance is African American. My son and fiance love this place, and they go often to buy dinner while Im working. Today my fiance came home so disappointed and dissatisfied. Upon entering the store there were 2 other customers infront of him either purchasing groceries or buying dinner. He waited patiently for his turn. Other guests entered the store and were greeted and taken care of ahead of him even though he had been there before them and had patiently waited for his turn. He left the store without dinner or his groceries because he felt disrespected and ashamed that he didnt speak the language to be able to advocate for himself. We have to do better to serve ALL of the people of our community regardless of race, or language . Im so upset and sad that this happened.

Stop by every saturday morning to buy some blood sausage to have with my breakfast. Best Ive ever eaten.. Not a complete breakfast with out them

Nice quaint little market, family-owned, where you can find any ingridients necessary to make: catchupa, caldo de peixe, caldeirada or any other capeverdian famous, tasty and traditional dishes. They also have tasty take out food to satisfy any bud taste. Pay them a visit you will it. Reasonable prices!
