Great place for shopping Halal food. They are extremely economical and have almost every Asian item especially for Pakistani, Indian and Bangladeshi communities. Ideal for people studying in Brown University or living across Providence as a whole.

Best place to buy meat. Great people. Would recommend to place an order on call before visit as they are well occupied on weekends. My to go place for buying Goat and chicken meat. You can also buy other groceries items here.

First time in 8 years in RI I heard about this place. What drew me there is the halal meat they have. Meat was a bit more expensive than where we normally buy, but thats way out there in Waltham MA, so it was worth it. They have halal meats of all kinds. Clean and well maintained. We called ahead, and they called back and told me the order was ready for pickup....amazing. The regular Indian and Pakistani groceries too are a bit more pricier than Patels in Attleboro, but not too far out. The area itself is not exactly desirable. Due to Covid extra precautions are in effect at the store, the owner is friendly too. Definitely a permanent place for our family for halal meats. If youve never tasted halal meat, you dont know what youre missing. Chicken and lamb and even beef taste so much better than your walmarts or other stores.

I went to Not Just Spices on Hope st. In Providence. They charged me double for everything! The same products were 4 dollars at Apna Bazar that Not Just Spices charges 8 dollars for and it was like a 4 minute away from hope st!!! Definitely check out this mart for a better price!!!!

Very small shop with some basic groceries and stuff. Not suitable for all in one go shopping. But they have fresh Halal meat all the time.

I think they sell frozen goat meat. Also they weighed 2.63 pounds at shop. Then they remove few stuffs from the meat. I weighed it again at home. It was 2.19 pounds. Never go there againMany think that, they sell fresh goat meat. But they dont. Its frozen goat meat only. May be everyday they take some quantity out from the freezer and sell it. If they dont sell for the day, it may again go to the freezer.

These guys are cheating the customers regarding halal meat weight. They have weighed 2.10 lb over store but actual weight is 1.4lb(I have checked the weight at home).
