I have an Ace closer to my house but I prefer this one because of the excellent customer service. I had absolutely no idea where to find the parts I needed but Keller knew exactly where they were, and even helped me figure out how to fix my broken car bumper. Super friendly guy! 12 out of 10, definitely would shop there again :)

Gordons Ace is awesome! I am by no means a handyman but on the rare occasion I feel brave enough to attempt fixing something at home, Ace is my go to. Convenient location and very helpful employees. Their knowledge has helped me select my needed part every time. Great place!

I am a black man I went to the store to return a item unused with the receipt and was not allowed to return the item my mother who is a white women went in the they return the item for her with no problem she then pointed out that they would not let her son return the item and then they tried to apologize but it was clearly race schism and the color of my skin that I was not allowed to return an item I had a receipt for

This is the best hardware store in the area. I can personally say that the owner of the store is as honest of a person as there is. Great customer service, great products, great selection, great experience every time. I have been coming to this store for years and I am always pleased. These guys are awesome!

Great small town hardest store with s great selection of most anything. I would highly recommend going here instead of the big box hardware stores. Friendly with great service. Process were in line as well. Has a family run feeling.

I really like the Change to the BBQ area. The new premium charcoal and wood selection is very nice I use to have to drive up to Lehi to to get the type of charcoal I need. Thank you

They’re ok. It’s your best option in Payson unless you want to drive to the Lowe’s in Spanish Fork.You really can’t expect too much from a small town hardware store. Lumber selection is lacking and what they do have always seems to be warped. Electrical prices are just silly high as well.Despite the negatives I still visit here once a week on average (sometimes a few times a day. Lol) and seem to find what I’m in need of the majority of the time.The staff is always helpful and quick to ask if they can help you find what you’re looking for.So, like I said, they’re ok.

Employees are really good people

This is a nice little small town hardware store. Im not sure how the prices compare with other stores, but its a very convenient place to go when you need something in a pinch. The employees are helpful and friendly. They usually have hot popcorn for the customers.

Staff is very unfriendly and less than helpful. Also they rarely have what I need. You can go to Salem, Spanish Fork, or up north and get what you’re looking for from an ACE hardware store. Plus you have a much better customer experience.

This is my favorite Ace Hardware that there is. The staff is super helpful and I feel like this Ace has the best amount of product. I go there at least three days a week and its way better than having to go to one of the big hardware stores.

The employees honestly try their very best to make your experience there worthwhile. We had an employee try to match a paint color and they did a fantastic job. There are real over there. Down-to-earth and friendly.

Basically the only place in Payson to get tools for house projects. Prices are as expected for small town hardware stores. The customer service here has always been great for me. I have only been here once and not sound what I needed. I most recently just did a plumbing project and needed a pretty custom part. They ended up having it and a reasonable cost. Had to take back a couple items I didnt end up using and the return process was great.

Small enough to not be intimidating but large enough to have what you need, they have a great selection of items and hardware. Super helpful staff. Always enjoy visiting this store, prices are competitive.

Pretty much your standard hardware store. Strangely none of the men who worked there knew what an impact driver was nor were they able to help me, but the manager lady helped me alright.

Even though the people have been very nice, they lost my UPS package. I brought it in and paid them for the shipping, but then it disappeared. UPS doesnt even have record of picking it up. No scans ever for that label. There goes $324 down the tube.

They didnt have all the parts I needed. But they were every helpful. That helped me select alternatives, and suggested other places to try. They said that i could even bring in our current faucet, to see what parts need to be replaced.

Theyve always got most anything youll need. Are they cheaper than the big box home improvement stores? No, buy you have to go all the way to Provo for that. Worth a visit though, come check it out!They used to offer free popcorn, but I think that disappeared when they became Ace Hardware... Which is a slight disappointment, but cest la vie I suppose.

Nice little store. They dont have a great selection and the prices on many things are higher than basically anywhere else, but the location is convenient. They also have a decent variety of glass bottled soda if you enjoy that sort of thing.

Im giving this store 1 star mainly because of the EMPLOYEES!!!! If I didnt include the employees on the rating scale then Id give 5 stars instead. The issue I have with the employees everytime is really getting annoying!!! What happens to me evertime I shop at Ace Hardware in Payson, UT is Ill go get the things I need, then I will go look at everything else in the store (window shop basically). Well after about 5-10 mins of looking around, I will notice that every employee is taking turns following me and they all are acting like Im going to steal or do something illegal (I never have and never will). I do not understand why this keeps happening to me!!!....

Went in for a 3x21 belt sander sanding belt. It was $23. The exact same belt, exact same brand at Lowes was $6.

On Monday August 31st. I was running around doing errands when my daughter frantically text me that she saw a FREE couch advertised on FB Yardsale site. She was moving into a unfurnished apartment so this free couch was too good to turn down. I was not prepared for this but I quickly drove to the address of the free couch and they helped me load it into the back of my truck. However I live in Springville and knew it was not safe to get onto the freeway with a couch hanging unsecured in my truck. I slowly drove down the street and was happy to see your business. I walked in and asked your cashier if she could find someone who could help me find rope or straps to secure the couch. The cashier was very friendly and page someone to the front. After just a couple of minutes no one came and she apologized over and over again that they might have gotten distracted with another customer. I was in a hurry but was very impressed that she was so sincere and quickly paged someone else to the front. In no time at all a nice young man named CJ came to the front. I showed him the couch hanging from my truck and he took me right to the section of ropes and straps. I told him I didnt want to spend a lot cuz we did have straps but they were in our other vehicle. CJ found me an inexpensive rope but a good quality one that would secure my load. CJ then handed the tag from the rope to me and said he would go outside to secure the couch while I pay for my purchase. The same cashier wished me a safe drive home. I went out to my truck and CJ had the couch tightly secured and I felt good about getting onto the freeway.I want you to know what amazing service I received from your employees CJ and Im sorry I forgot to get the young ladies name who was the cashier. I am thankful that CJ was so helpful in securing the couch for me. In fact when my husband saw the couch tied into the truck he said its a good thing I found someone to do that for me or it could have been a horrible accident on the freeway if the couch had fallen out.Again I just wanted to write to you to inform you of two fantastic employees you have.Thank you Payson Ace Hardware!!Suzan GrantSent from my iPhone

I waited 20min when requested management to offer employment option, after 20 min n no other service to help direct me to what I needed, nor the management, I left, n refuse to buy/shop from location now knowing if asking a simple question could not be granted I find it further terrifying to purchase some items, or seek help assist n have to wait an hour long watching several ignorant employees do more than cashier..
