I went here to pick up a magnetic mascara. Chanel was accommodating and knowledgeable. She compared two different products. She recommended the product that would give me the result I was looking for. Thank you, Chanel! :)They do sanitize in between each customer. Both the counter and the debit/credit card keypad.They do not check temperature upon entry, but they do have a sanitizer at the entrance. Masks are required.

7/25/2021 I like the variety of cosmetics, skin care, makeup brushes, beauty tools, hair products and hair tools. From more expensive cosmetics to lower priced ones, they have it all! I appreciate that Ulta is a one-stop shop for me. They also have a salon. During my recent visits, I bought concealer and lipstick from Maybelline, brushes from Morphe, Thats Taupe ColourPop palette, Real Techniques fan brush, and Kiss lashes. This is an all in one, great beauty store!

First time at an Ulta and at this location. The staff were mostly welcoming and friendly. They directed me to the area that I wanted to go and immediately found what I was looking for. A salesperson asked me if I needed help but I said I didnt. Then when I had a question it was easy to find them and they were helpful in giving me advice about a product.I would love to peruse their store more next time. It seems pretty open but I was a bit intimidated since it was my first time at their store.Check out was easy enough. I signed up for their rewards program at the register. The person who helped me was nice but they rushed me through the checkout process. It left a bad taste in my mouth. Also, they didnt know how to spell Waianae.

I come here for my haircuts. Plus I pretty much get all my hair products from here. It is a little pricey, but you are paying for quality stuff.

Prices are moderate to high, but has pretty much anything cosmetic you could ever need and more. Product quality is good to top of the line, with a few low end options.

The girls who work here are very knowledgeable about the products they sell and really helpful

I bought $270 worth of product. It was an extremely welcoming store but after the 4th time someone approached my son and I to ask us if we needed help, we were at that point annoyed because we could NOT browse the store. We made a joke to start counting the amount of times an employee came up to us to list all the sales and let us know if theres anything they can help us find please let them know. It was 21X total!!!! There were employees that approached us multiple times to repeat the same line- if theres anything you need please don’t hesitate to ask, hows it going today can I help you find anything, ok if not just let us know and we can help you find it. It got to the point it was creepy as if they didn’t say at least 3x while the customer was in store, their boss would fire them. That is why i’m giving this store 2 stars and won’t be coming back. The shopping experience was absolutely horrible and made you feel like someone was hovering over you, and you couldn’t even read the product without someone interrupting you. My sister also came here a few weeks before and had the same experience.

I refuse to go back to this location. I normally shop at kapolei. I under it’s the Holidays and people steal . I’ve worked retail in cosmetics I GET IT! But do NOT follow me around the store and constantly approach me if i didn’t ask for help. The manager didn’t think i saw her blatantly watching me but i did so i approached her and asked her for help when i knew exactly what i was looking for. And her mood was so fake and uppity. Don’t do people like that. I will quickly put my stuff down and leave. The store is huge don’t expect people to come in with their mind made up! I’m gonna stand around and look at things before i buy. Goodness train yourselves please. I spend way too much money here .

2/20/21 Just as store opened. 10a.My 2nd time at Ulta, but definitely better than my first time. At first I felt a little iffy.Walked in an associate made eye contact and no interaction whatsoever. My second time shopping here I was clearly really lost. I wish I caught the first employee who greeted and asked me if I needed her help. She pointed me in the direction of the items I was looking for. She seemed really genuine to help, even though I walked right past the item I asked for. (haha, oops)The next employee at the register was really kind, and both associates changed my mind about shopping here. Definitely will shop more often at Ulta, and especially this location. Thank you for the great service!

Besides Sephora, this is the next best store to purchase any beauty or hair care items. I got the Chi Lava and it works good. They dont provide samples like Sephora but with this whole Covid-19, no one does any more 😋

I went in to Ulta Beauty today to see about scheduling an appointment for my wife today because she just found out she has a job interview tomorrow. Now I understand that this was last minute and that more than likely they were booked up for the rest of the day but I thought it would not hurt to ask and see. I walk in...Note: Im a rather large guy who looks pretty rough around the edges... I go to the back and there are two hair stylist working. I stand there patiently for several minutes waiting for one of them to see me but they didnt. I did mention I am a rather large guy....I am also very respectful of the fact that they had their hands full working on clients. I was not going to wait around there. I left shaking my head. Three employees seen me but did not ask me for help. Its ok.... Moving on....

Ive been going to Ultas for years now. This one is kept clean and organized as Ive come to expect. Unfortunately it usually is busy, but staff remain friendly and as helpful as they can.Patience goes a long way in a store that sees regular rushes of 10+ people going to check out at once.Aside from how busy it is (-1 star), this store and the staff is in keeping with the Ulta brand.Always remember to check for coupons!

The store is for the most well stocked and has a wide variety of personal care and beauty products. The bathrooms are also very clean. The employees seem too busy too help the customers though. I asked about a product that wasnt available in the display to see if they had it in the back and waited around the store for 15 minutes before I had to just ask someone at the front to follow up and immediately responded not in stock. Okay, thank you for checking but Id appreciate not waiting around for a response. The employees dont seem to want to be there and just really arent very friendly. Other than that, the store is great.

Friendly staff and always available to help. Brands are visible and easy to find. Clean and stocked well. Checkout line has great travel and extras to pick from. Would definitely recommend!

All the Ulta representatives are very helpful and sweet. Every time I go there I feel great when I leave. I’ve had a microdermabrasion abrasion there and it was great! My skin felt amazing. I highly recommend them for all beauty needs! It’s a one stop shop!

I drive my daughter here to pick up beauty supplies before school starts. The staff was very friendly, they had plenty of stock on hand, plus they have two other stores on the island. Parking was very easy even during a busy weekend. They are located next to the only Johnny Rockets on the island, had to have lunch there, lol.

Love the selection at this place! From big name beauty/skin care products to hair products to hair styling tools to drug store beauty products, its got it all! I was in rush to get somewhere otherwise Ill spend more time digging for goodies. Will return!

I have visited this location several times and have never been disappointed. Chalei, in the salon, does my hair and she is an absolute genius, so friendly, and very professional. The store is always beautiful and clean and the staff is very helpful and cheery.

I spend a lot of money at Ulta. Whether it be online or in stores. The employees are extremely rude at this location. I went in today, giving this location another chance and sure enough, the same attitude happened again. The last 3 times I have encountered snobby, stuck-up staff. Not sure what their deal is. I will not be back at this location just because of the staff alone. I will also be emailing corporate about my experiences because I am a very friendly, not hard to deal with type of customer. I will not recommend this location to anyone who asks about my experience. Train your staff to be friendli.er to all types of customers. Just because Im not young or hip doesnt mean Im not there to just browse.

Don’t get a haircut here. Just don’t. The agreement was 1 inch off my hair Which was past my shoulder blades is now above my shoulders and the top half is above my chin. So much for growing my hair out. I’m starting from scratch what I’ve managed from 3 years of growth is now gone!

The staff was very helpful, unfortunately they didn’t have an item I was looking to purchase but they recommend me giving them a call on the date their next shipment was due to arrive.

They never remove the expired sale sign on the tarte shape tape concealer wasted my time. On the store you guys have to double check before going out the store. And do not buy the NARS lip pencil I saw one old lady opening all the box and using it on her lips and putting them back the shelf and it was disgusting. They should do it like how MAC cosmetics do.they grab it from the drawer at list that I know it’s never used by anyone.

After reading comments about the lack of service at this establishment, I felt slightly apprehensive about shopping here. And true to form, no one greeted me as I entered and I knew I would need to find an associate to help me, which I did. And to my surprise, she was very friendly and was a tremendous help especially since all I could give were clues of what I was hoping to find and voila! We found the item. In fact all the other associates were just as friendly and personally shared about the products they use. Now, Im not negating anyone elses opinion or experience and perhaps some of those reviews helped address those issues. Overall, I was very pleased. Keep up the good work Ulta! Great service and a friendly smile goes a long way.

Ulta Is a dream come true for me. No more Sephora. I have been a Rouge Member for years. All I got was mini samples and mediocre service. Ulta Beauty rewards is amazing. Almost to the top tier. I love the store and layout. I love that they have everything in one place. Salon, Haircare and high end makeup along with drug store make up. Thank you, Ulta for coming to Hawaii.
