I had the unfortunate experience of having my 34 hour reset here over the weekend. I only stopped here because of the Dennys sign. I thought a sit down meal might be nice for a change. Food was good. However the cleanliness of the facility and outside grounds left a lot to be desired. I took a shower in a clean and sanitized shower room. How it can be sanitized or clean with trash on the floor I am unsure. Same with the womens truck driver bathroom. Did a load of laundry as well. The first washer took a $1.25 and when I went to the desk they said they dont own them so I had to get a refund from the company that owned them. $2.75 for washer and same for dryer. Dont plan on doing laundry there. The trash all over was unreal. Finally as I was leaving this morning a guy had a big buggy picking up the trash from the trash cans all over because every single one was full. Pictures included are just a fraction of what I could have taken. So for food yes stop but take your 34 elsewhere.

The food here is simply amazing, very few Denny’s restaurants actually have good cook. It’s actually my first time and my first day in Mississippi. Everyone is very welcoming everywhere that I go.

One of the guys upfront was very nice.However when we went to take our shower. There was a guy in the lounge room that was another customer informed us that he has been waiting for his shower all day because the showers werent clean and no one wants to work. When he finally got to go take his shower. He told us good luck and hope you guys dont have to wait for a shower as long as I have been.We were able to get to a shower at the same time as the other customer because more than one shower was available. When we went to go take a shower. There was a shortage of towels. Then,when I took a shower the water stunk really bad. Also, I brushed my teeth and the water tasted bad.Then we got some soda from the fountain drink area and my first choice Mountain dew tasted okay but it had black stuff in it.Then my second choice was coke and it tasted really bad like it had the same water with it as the shower and sink. I could taste it.Then when we were getting keychains and snacks the cashier was again very nice but his coworker came and talked to him criticizing the cashier for being nice to customers by saying why are you being so nice to the customers.

There are way too many dropped trailers, box trucks and day cabs for overnight parking. This place is turning into a drop yard instead of a Flying J. Drivers who actually need a place to park for the night can’t, because locals are taking up all the spots and going home for the night. This is easily stopped and prevented. The Denny’s here is great, but the Flying J food is over cooked and dry.

Clean pump area. Clean shower hot and cold. Hot food hot Coffee. Need a hair cut this the place to come

Not just the worst truck stop or Flying j Ive ever been into but the worst business Ive ever been into in my entire life. The rudest most obnoxious people I believe in the world work at this facility. I reported them and requested that the district manager and regional manager call me or even the general manager none of them had the gall to call me I guess because they know how pathetic this place is and how pathetic their workers are.

You can tell about how seriously they take cleanliness here by how responsive they are to clearing the overflowing garbage. If this is their standard I wouldnt wanna even eat peanuts here

Dilapidated and run down. Horrible staff with attitudes. Two thumbs down! If I had three thumbs I would give it three thumbs down.8 of 12 pumps were out of order. Bathrooms were not only filthy but had broken fixtures. No warm food. Horrible excuse for a truck stop. Horrible excise for a flying J

Second dirty Fliying J in the country. Found a piece of used soap on my shower and hair on the sink, floor of store is a dirty one and out side parking lot horrible. The lady employe told me that I put all that there to blame on the store. What a bad actitud and service, need a good retraining on customer service, three washer machiine are out of service too. Parking lot is a trash evrery where but I blame truck drivers for this but who is responsable to clean up ? Not be mad, Fliying J on NC 85 exit 150 is bad than you guys. You guys got 3.6 on general opinion, you need over 4 to be doing a good job.

Decent food at decent prices

This is hands down the least managed pilot i have ever seen. Pump controls busted with keypads knocked out and dirty bathrooms terrible standards compared to the 30 or so i have been in. Multiple pumps missing screws to hold in DEF line. Most of the facility has a grime that means it is not normally cleaned at all. In the 4 to 5 minutes i was walking around taking pictures there was 1 customer i noticed trying to check out 1 of the 4 people was stocking the pizza display the other 3 having a conversation with the 1 employee not behind the counter and on her phone. The amount of filth and grim starts at the roof and goes throughout.The 2 things i did notice that were maintained was the truck islands trash cans and the window wash buckets. If i was guessing they know a trucker sees 3 full trash cans within sight he just piles his on top because he doesnt have time to search.Nasty pictures to follow.Months of dirt in that corner and toilet seat is barely attached.Def pump almost came off when i pulled the hose out. Wont be staying here again.And you can see the buckets for moping just discarded in an open closet.Hands down if an employee is not actively helping a customer they should be walking around with a mop broom and a note pad taking down a list of thinhs that need fixed.The one person i saw cleaning was a white male and outside vendor who didnt want his picture taken and he was cleaning the vending machines/games. Sad not trying to be racist but 2 of the 6 or so black employees were actually doing anything. The exceptions being the shower crew who were very busy. Did not see the inside of the showers to comment on them.This is what happens when your managing style is to hire your friends and not make them work. Not due to color just an observation.

This place is really really awful. I had visited here a year ago, and didn’t realize it until yesterday when I remembered thinking how awful it was. It’s even worse now. Employee communication is awful, extremely disorganized, three pumps completely inoperable, with a ton semi trucks waiting to fill up. Where is the pilot flying J management? Dirty as can be, flies everywhere! Will not be back! I choose pilot because it’s typically very clean and orderly, but this facility is the complete opposite of any pilot I have ever seen. Do not go here. Half of the stock is not in stock, and you have to ask the employees two times for anything because they fail to listen the first time. Very disheartening here.

Just “attempted” to pull into the Flying J with my 36ft motorhome. Was going to get gas and eat breakfast.This is the most confusing and difficult truck stop I’ve ever seen.There was absolutely no place to park for even a car. It looked as if the lot was full of people parked for long term who had gone on a bus trip. All the vehicles on the outer places were backed into the spaces.Could not purchase gas because had cars gone into the rv gas pumps the wrong way and were filling their cars.Ended up driving through and back on the highway for gas elsewhere.Flying J should not be proud of this location. ☹️☹️

Been coming here for over 2 years. Poor customer service. Could be cleaner. Not as bad as some Flying Js, but also not as good as others. Employees could use better training on how to engage customers. They never say thank you and alot of the time they are on their phones ignoring us.

Well. Its a nice looking store. I been having a couple bad days lately. I decide I want some chocolate milk. As I enter this beautifully constructed building, none of the many employees I saw present, bothered to welcome me. I tried to look on the lighter side. I understand people have bad days. I assure you. I find my milk, it is in a section with a label 2.99 a quart. As I approach the counter, I see some boxes with discounted merchandise. 70% off. Man I love a deal! I saw an employee at the customer side of the counter paying for something, and I also noticed they were conversation about something. It may be paranoid but I felt like they may have gotten a bad impression about me, because of my tattoos possibly ? Or maybe its so close to jackson, Ms. I love Jackson btw, I just hear a lot of negitive stuff about Jackson. Anyway the cashier (who didnt bother to ask if I needed assistance) stared a hole through me. I felt so watched it became uncomfortable to even look at the discounted merchandise. I approached the counter, and dispite the negitive night Ive had tried to make.conversation and salvage the negitive taste in my mouth. Sadly I felt as if I was a leper. So I left and vomited my experience here. Thank you, I will make every attempt to bypass this place in my future endeavors, and Im sorry for the inconvenience I caused in my visit. Btw I was.charged almost five bucks for the milk. Witch is probably the right price, but the mislabeling caused me to spend more than I wanted too.

Worst Flying J, showers were at least clean but the restrooms were disgusting, I’ve been to ones that were understaffed and still took pride in their work . Also customers at Denny’s said the food their was undercooked. If I could give a zero rating I would .

What an absolute dump no washer fluid or paper towels at the fuel island 4th time Ive been here and something is wrong with one of the pumps that Im using either main or satellite doesnt work they run slow or they leak so badly you have to stop because youre wasting fuel all over the ground the parking lot looks like a map of the moon no lights in the parking lot to see what youre doing and ZERO enforcement of no parking trucks are everywhere youre lucky if you dont hit somebody trying to get in or out And I tried to use the kiosk to get my fuel receipt because I couldnt remember what pump I was on and it doesnt work eitherI believe today will be the last time I come here unless its an absolute emergency

Im reading all the previous replies and I have not experienced any of those. I, too, had long day on the road 11/2-11/3 2020 and when stopped thru here., I needed a respite (shower and hot meal) happily I am provided with both. The truck driver areas are clean. I did not use the restrooms in question. However, my shower room was clean and stocked except for the soap dispenser in shower was completely empty(luckily I brought my own soap/body wash).The sink soap dispenser was adequately full.

Dirtiest truck stop I’ve been in a long time!!!! No coffee in the morning, dirty restrooms, no showers because they haven’t been clean and of course the parking lot reeks of urine....

Their driers have not been working for over two weeks and they have no idea as to when someone will get them fixed. So if you need to do laundry go somewhere else.

Well its got my curiosity theres enough local and dump trucks here thats taking up almost half the parking spots for trucks every time I try to stopping a pilot or Flying J park my truck and they tell me they dont do that we dont allow that but here this place is over half the parking spots are local end dump trucks pickup trucks and trucks you can tell its been here for more than 2 days because of the ice and snow on them I think thats wrong and on top of that people that are on the road trying to find a spot late at night and these people are ruining truck stops they need to find their own yard not a truck stop where they go home every night we need spots and theres not enough out here and people like that ruin it

Very little wiggle room for reserved truck parking... yet way more for standard parking... whats even the point of reserving a spot?

Store and Dennys was nice... Picked this place so I could do laundry... Im not easily grossed out... But...the washers and dryers were so gross... I didnt even want to touch them... Let alone try to put clothes in there... How can clothes get clean in a disgusting machine??? They need to be tore out and replaced... If drivers are paying for it... Why not do it???

Was very disappointed. For one it was the most disgusting j Ive been too.Was standing in line to check out [ 1 cashier] 6 or more in line]. Well I was right there by the roller grills & food warmer & behold a COCKROACH, I moved the condiment tray & roaches just scattered everywhere, under the grills& spreading over to coffee area. Ya all really need to do something about this. I will not return!! It dont even deserve 1 star. The health dept. would love this place!!!

Store not very clean. Paper towels all over the womens restroom floor. 1st gas pump wouldnt work and no sign on it. Door sign said masks required but no one was wearing including employees.

Pumps are broken. Keypad didnt work so you have to go inside where only one cashier running register while other employees are walking around talking in store.

This morning was very nice. I definitely liked the people working here today. Very very pleasant. But its not always like this. The waitress from Michigan was very nice.

Negative million stars, by far the worst flying j of all existence, the showers are never clean, i have been here more than a few times, and i believe all they do is take out the dirty towels and put some folded one that they have dried, i dont think they wash them, or at least they dont smell like it, the staff i have come in contact with seems lazy including the incompatible manager, this place must be a franchise flying j because they dont seem to show any professionalism or pride in there work, the bathrooms are completely nasty, the fueling lanes have diesel makeing them slick, the pizza is gross and under cooked.

Nice Flying J staff. The store is good, plenty of parking. However the Dennys wasnt worth the money. Waitress wrote my order down and still didnt bring me what I ordered. Also they dont know the difference between a well done steak and medium well. She brought me one of the driest, toughest steaks ever.

Employees are really nice. The showers were super small and the water was luke warm at best. The hot bar mac and cheese was really good. Every slot in the lot is at some sort of strange angle. A little work and it could be a real nice truck stop.

Called around 3:30pm to ask if they can print load paperwork from an email, she said sure... Arrived at 730pm, nope dont have the password, I can call but noone will answer back no worries not like truckers p/u loads at night on weekend...

Went to use the restroom on the trucker side of the store. The stalls were dirty, toilet paper on the floor, fecil matter still in the toilet needing to be flushed. Looked like the restroom had not been cleaned in a couple of hours.

Coffee was fresh and hot you guys have the best in the Industry. How ever you need to work on your Handicap Parking for Drivers. The truck Handicapped parking spots need re-painted and marked better and some of your Travel Centers dont even have any that

Clean place and friendly staff with the station.The Dennys food is GREAT, and they give big portions! Service is slow but worth it for the food! Had parking spots even at 2am.

Im a traveler (AKA hitchhiker)...this is not a traveler friendly place. The general manager told me that it was against company policy to fly a sign asking for a ride...but then he told me that it was against truck driver policies too. I didnt bother arguing with him...but I found it interesting that he spoke FOR the truck drivers as well. I wanted to ask him...Is this a TRAVEL plaza or not?...but I decided that the headache wasnt worth the hassle. So...if youre a traveler...this would be a place to avoid. The other staff seemed friendly enough though.

The new GM is really getting the store cleaned up. The porter is a great kid. I believe that with his drive, he would make a perfect addition to the management team.

The Flying J is fine, however idle air is now forcing drivers to pay $10 to park in theyre spots even though it doesnt have working service in that parking space, in fact i only saw 3 parking spots that looked like they had working idle air service... major rip off. Flying J gets 4 stars, idle air Im canceling my account!

The night crew- with the exception of the cashier- were very unprofessional. The lady employee was dancing like a stripper and throwing money at herself while the other Male employee chatted her up. I was waiting in line to be helped and neither of them moved out of the way or even acknowledged me until the cashier saw I was standing there and apologized for it. The coffee bar/ soda fountain was taken apart with boxes of stuff needing to be stocked all over the area and they were just playing around. I was very disappointed at the cleanliness and professionalism at this location.

Nice truck stop and clean restrooms and showers. Decent deli food and has a Dennys on the premises. Parking lot is good size, but fills up fast. They do have paid parking spots you can reserve ahead of time

Where to begin? first when I got there last night when I opened my door to do post trip all I could smell was old urine. later I went in to use bathroom and it was disgusting. apparently no one wants to clean them and showers were down. this morning I go to shower and they are still down and notice an old sign saying showers out of order. guess no one wants to clean them either. stay away. far away

Clean but poorly stocked rest room. Car pool or other permanent Parkers filled the parking areas. No TV in restaurant so not able to get news or we with meals. Overall poor rating.

Showers are filthy tried multiple all were horrible

Every single garbage can was brimming over with garbage. One of the toilet seats in the ladies room had old urine on it and the bathroom was generally poorly kept. One upside, the cashier was very nice.

Flying J Travel Center and Mississippi off of Interstate 10 has whatever a traveler needs easy access the traffic friendly staff and for truckers great place take a shower large parking area 4 Truckers and travelers just off of Interstate 10 in Mississippi

Met the store manager today while I was here. I informed him that I post a lot to Google maps and request that he review the post daily (he is trying to improve the quality of the customer service) and he is going to start reviewing post daily.Now if all other companies did the same thing, complaints would all but disappear

The truckstop is fine, went to the Dennys last night. Employees were arguing loudly, dishwasher was cursing, 30 min went by they never put my order in, cook looked lost, it wasnt busy at all. The manager has no control of his employees. I say fire the whole shift and start over. I never got my order so i went to the store and got a hot dog.

The shower fan needs replaced.. It 8 pounds of dust on it .. Absolutely No ventilation.. ..

Many of the shower hooks have been pulled out and not replaced.. There were dirty towels on the floor right outside my door and my shower door didnt lock.The coffee is extremely weak and scalding hot. This place desperately needs bean to cup machines.

No ac in shower room its 95 outside????????? Is this money saving or fear of virus in a non closed ventilation system. Were not on an airplane.

The mens bathrooms were in horrible condition! It was easy to tell that the employees had not given them any attention. From no paper towels, to a garbage can sitting right by the stalls to used paper towels on the floor. Needless to say it was in need of someone cleaning it. The coffee counter had coffee spills all over it. Sugar spilled on it and in utterly bad. I do not know if they need to hire more employees at this location or the employees there just was not doing their job, either way this location just like so many other Pilot/Flying J locations need better overall attention to detail.

Got here at 12:30 in the morning. Absolutely no place to park as all spots were taken. We found 2 spots after people pulled out. We pulled in and went to bed, only to be woken up by the manager notifying us that a tow truck was on the way to tow us. We were not in a handicap or a no parking stall. He noted that we were in a driveway and we were going to be towed. At the early hour that we arrived at a resting place we simply pulled in where others had pulled out of. Not knowing that the so called manager was going to tow our vehicles with us in them. Turns out that there is nowhere to park in the customer parking lot because it has vacant cars/ trucks that arent plated in every parking spot. The only place to park is directly in front of the building. Maybe they sell cars out of this lot, but too have every spot taken then complain where we parked is too much. We will NEVER BE BACK. We travel all over the country and have never been treated so poorly. He even stood outside to make sure that we left. Revenue lost to this truckstop from us today WOULD have been close to $900 including food, showers and fuel. Your loss. Our business will go elsewhere for our needs. Thank you. Try harder at your people skills . Clean out your parking lot for paying customers and your revenue will increase.God Bless and have a great day !

Dennys the service was poor to say the least. Almost finished my breakfast before I got my toast. Bathrooms were not very clean and every stall needed toilet paper. TV in the drivers lounge was broken. Will go to the loves across the street next time.

Lot smelled like urine . A 30 min wait to be seated at Dennys because the cooks were back up what a joke of a place. No greetings at all, rude staff. Will not be back again .

That shower pressure was the best thing ever!!!! #4 to be exact. Customer service could be a little bit polished, but overall satisfactory for average expectation.

Ok truck stop, typically hard to find parking for trucks at night. And gets extremely crowded. They allow trucks to park everywhere.People are nice though.

Staff are helpful but busy. Bathrooms needed attention, but their coffee was good to go, food on the rollers was as fresh as expected.

Only 3 star because no meatloaf no baked chicken same all fried chicken and burritos for drivers ...bad deal other than its ok..btw dennys doesnt count as a restaurant

Nastiest and worse flying j so far in us. Card reader broke at the pump. Go I side nastiest floors ever. Bathroom was filthy . No toilet paper in 3 stalls. All 3 paper towel dispensers out also. Went to pay for fuel to get pump turned on and told the cashier card reader was broke. Informed me it had been broke for 3 months.Coffee was the only thing good bit they were out of cream in both dispensers.Go to pilot or Petri bypass this all together. You may catch something penicillin cant cure. Imagine how nasty the kitchens must be that u cant see wish there was a zero star.

I live Flying Js always try to stop when travelling. After driving for hours you can get reasonable prices gas, well lit safe enviroment, many novelty items. Interesting clothes and electronics, a great diversion from the long periods in the car.

Stopped in this place at 4am this morning to use restroom it was a mess. The bathroom was so nasty it was unreal. I told the lady running cash register she apologize while the manager was just staying there holding counter up. I wouldnt and couldnt eat nothing from this nasty place.Went to parking lot to grab a nap then be on my way was woke by management telling me to leave or police would be called I almost turned and told him that was fine I wanted to be here when I called the health inspector to look in this place. People were rude it was nasty go a few more miles it will be better on u.

I travel across this country alot. The pilot has got to have the best coffee for a travel plaza / truck stop
