So I had a minor accident just after the first of the year. My insurance, Progressive, asked if I wanted to use their preferred shop and I agreed. (I was from out of town and taking a military class so I didnt have time to run around and find one myself) I was very glad that my truck was sent to Coastal Body Works. Ronnie was a great individual to deal with and answered all of my questions. They have a website so you can monitor the progress of your vehicles repairs, super cool, plus they text you when there are updates too. They may have had my truck for a while but the repairs are spot on. The front end looks like it did 14 years ago, perfect. They took their time and made sure they used quality parts that fit perfectly. All of the gaps are spot on and so is the blending of the paint. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing paint and bodywork done.

I have used Coastal for many years, both insurance type work and self pay restoration jobs. They always treat me with respect and the quality of their work is top notch. Waaayy better than a place in Gulf Breeze my insurance company forced me to use 4 years ago. I really appreciate these people in a world where customer service and quality work seem to be on the decline.

Really Good People: The staff at Coastal Body Works is amazing. We were traveling through Pensacola, when my passenger side window dropped inside the door and wouldn’t go back up. We called four places (including the Chrysler dealership) trying to get at least a temporary repair for our 14 hour return trip home, the next day. Three places blew us off, since it was a Friday afternoon. We were praying hard, since no one was willing to help us... Then we called Coastal and they were amazing. The lady who answered the phone was super nice to my wife and she got Ronnie to help me. He was able to squeeze me in, locate the part for my 17 year old vehicle, and get someone to fix it. They did great work at a very reasonable price. Plus they were willing to help someone who was in trouble even though it may have added to their workload on a Friday afternoon. This company is not only the best collision center in this area, but in my opinion, they are one of the best businesses in general. Nobody enjoys having to pay for car repairs, but they made the experience as easy as possible. I accidentally ran too far over a parking barrier and when I reversed my front bumper popped off. Coastal Bodyworks had recently repaired my car for me, and put the bumper back on with no charge. This was a total lifesaver for my pocketbook and my marriage 😂 10 out of 10 recommend this place of business!

I had my concerns with the shop when reading some reviews, but to each is their own. My experience at this shop was really good they provided me with up to date photos through text messages which I didnt expect. It was much appreciated since you dont have to call up asking every other day whats going on like other shops. If anything else were to happen to any of my vehicle I would not hesitate to go to the company again.

I am a Navy retiree whose son recently joined the USAF. He has a truck which I am trying to get some minor items corrected before he comes home from his technician school. One of these items was that both his doors were out of alignment and not shutting properly. I spoke with their office receptionist who said to bring the truck over. I did the next day and while there I had a chance to speak with Ronnie and told him what I was doing for my son. The repair was done early and now both doors shut just like they did when it came out of the Ford plant back in 1991! This place acknowledges military service and I highly recommend them to any Veteran out there. Thank you!

The staff is amazing. They gave us a range of options as how to best repair all the body damage. The end result was perfection.I would recommend this shop for any and all automotive body work needs.

From the initial call to driving away from a collision repair, this was an exceptional experience! Cosmetically, they matched the off white pearl color on my Acura spot on! The lady at the front desk, in particular, could not have been any more friendly and professional.... Her customer service was impeccable (and thats not a compliment I am able to give very often). By my bad luck I had to use their services again this week and could not be happier. The car was put back to brand new standards and I got it back earlier than promised. Really professional, and did an outstanding job. Even have a guy there who will fix door dings separately. Paint matched perfectly, and they even gave me some of the paint they mixed for touch ups on the rest of my car.

So, I warned folks about Coastal after they repaired my car a couple of years ago and the poor job they did is still showing itself. They put a broken headlight cover back in the car rather than replace it. Thats gonna cost me another $200-$300.They just arent the same place they used to be......be careful with these people.

Coastal Body Works was great! We had evacuated from Hurricane Irma and experienced and issue with our vehicles window. They got us back on the road home, no charge! Thank you!

These guys are great. Here is why:-Fast, friendly, professional service.-Great communication before, during, and after.-They send pictures daily of progress.-They were done in half the estimated time.A couple of specific reasons why I say this:-I had been waiting for about 10 minutes for the Enterprise Rental guys to pick me up. Anne at the front desk, who had just called them ten minutes ago, called them again to make sure they were on their way. I didnt ask her to call, she just called proactively.-They made everything really easy for me; there wasnt a ton of paperwork like Ive seen elsewhere.-Also, after I got my car back, my air conditioner wasnt blowing cold. I took it to an auto shop thinking it was unrelated with their job. I guess CBW had overcharged the freon, which is easy to do. When I let CBW know about what happened, they mailed me a check on the same day to reimburse me for the expense!

I would not recommend taking anything requiring electrical work here. The body work was fine. If it werent, this would be a 1 star review. I have already given the company the opportunity to admit fault and fix the problem. They fixed one of two problems and never admitted any wrong doing.I work on my own car regularly, but when I got in a fender bender, I figured it easier to let the body shop take care of all the damage, including a broken fog light and a tire that just happened to be low.Unfortunately, a friend picked up my vehicle and I didnt discover the issues until almost a month later. The fog lights never did work (were not wired properly) and in addition, the wire to my radio was severed and the severed end was covered with electrical tape.When I brought this to the shops attention, they offered to make it right. I brought it back and the wire that had been severed and covered with electrical tape was now attached to a fuse running to the fog lights. The fog lights do work now, but they claimed that the initial reason they didnt work was due to a blown fuse under the dash. If that was the case, why is the severed wire now connected to the fuse that runs to all of the fog lights. Long story short, they screwed up and wouldnt admit it and that makes me angrier than the screw up. The wiring in question is largely aftermarket and some of it is admittedly screwed up and if they had just admitted that they had a problem figuring out the wiring and may have screwed up, I would be happy. Im angry because I thought I had found a mom and pop shop where there might still be an inkling of the customer is always right but what I found is another instance of never admit wrongdoing, protect yourself against any liability at all costs. My radio still doesnt work and Im going to have to fix that myself. Ill be finding another body shop.

Came in with a minor bumper issue near the end of the day and one of the guys came out and fixed it within 5 minutes and then wouldn’t let me pay him. Super great guys definitely recommend

I wasn’t going to post this, but after discovering so many things they had missed, or flat out did not fix/actually broke, I had to share. This place screwed up my car (2011 Scion tC).After a delivery truck backed into it while it was parked downtown, we took it here going off all of the wonderful reviews we had read. Our experience was not so wonderful.Main issues:1. They charged for parts they did not replace (I.e. a brand new rim that they never actually purchased, only painted the old rim. You can tell by the paint hue difference and markings I had on it before).2. They replaced the driver side quarter panel, and in turn, for some odd reason, did not install the driver side front inner fender. It’s completely missing! I noticed when I heard a rattling noise because my front bumper now moves due to it not being completely missing.3. When they hooked the fuses back up in the car, they put some in backward, which caused my rear window defroster to short out and ruin my window tint.4. When we came to pick up the car after being notified that it was ready, I drove off and noticed my tail lights or signals weren’t working. Went back, and they said “oops, we must’ve rushed and forgot to hook them up.” The man I spoke to was also rude about me pointing that out. Mind you, I was professional about it.Summary:If this place is the best in town, shouldn’t there be a quality check after finishing the job? Maybe all of the other items above would have been remedied as well. Who knows, but I was and still am deeply dissatisfied and angry at myself for trusting them with my vehicle.

I brought my wives 2011 Toyota Sienna there to get the headlamp and foglamp replaced. I was told the bumper would have to be removed to get them in. I went there being told I would be charged no more than $50. After 15 min they pulled my car around and handed me the keys and told me it was free because they didnt need to remove the bumper. What a surprise! Many places would have still charged me and even made it take longer just to get money. Not here! Highly recommended!

THESE PEOPLE WILL STEAL FROM YOU. Took my vehicle in to have some damaged repaired. Took parts off my vehicle and refused to put back on stating “they didn’t remove that piece”. The vehicle has not even had an oil change since the work was done. Do not go here.

BEWARE! COASTAL CAN DESTROY YOUR CAR!!!Oh my gosh, where to begin. . . my beautiful blue Hyundai Tucson looked great when I picked it up from Coastal Body Works. BUT, the engine light was ON. Asked the mechanic to look at this before we even left. . . a few minutes later, he came back and said, No problem! Lights off now, a rookie mistake that they forgot to reset. Hmmm... okay. I trusted him.June 7th: Engine light reappears! Took it back to Coastal Body Works where they said it came on because of condensation and that car was ok to drive. (Hed put in on the computer again, he claimed.) I trusted him and Coastal again.I told him I need to drive to Mississippi soon: no problem he said. I trusted he wouldnt lie to me.BTW, I am 75 year old woman, diabetic, and the last thing I need is to be stranded on I-10 in 90 degree heat! ENGINE LIGHT CAME BACK ON!Feeling somewhat uncomfortable with light still on, my husband decided to take the car to Allen Turner Hyundi on June 14th. (Hes not so young himself.)ALLEN TURNER FOUND OUTwhy the engine light was warning us something was VERY wrong:The 02 sensor was not connected on one end, and had been destroyed on the other end by the animal. Driving the car like that would damage the catyaltic converter!! (Coastal missed this entirely.)Further investigation by Allen Turners mechanics found the computer harness had been partially shorted out and needed replacement! (Coastal missed this. . . is their computer dead and their mechanic blind?)This is a drawn out and expensive fix that Coastal missed all together. I trusted them and they did me wrong, as the song goes, but its neither amusing, cheap, or right how they treated this customer.DO you really think they will be honest and above board with YOU?

Gave a ridiculously high damage quote for the damages I had that was no where near the quotes I had from two other companies. Didnt give a break down of how they would conduct repairs. I got the impression they didnt want my business.

Had to take vehicle back multiple times and still couldnt get a clean paint finish. Paint had debris and fisheye in it. Ended up getting money back for paint work because less than 2 months after painting the hood paint began chipping off.
