I had about an hour to murder so I went to window browse and ended up buying a few books for the kids (books not pictured). Staff was friendly and quick to point out all the deals they had. Also got a Java chip frap and a slice of plain cheesecake. I assumed they were a Starbucks because they had Starbucks paraphernalia all over their cafe. The staff polite-like told me they are not a Starbucks, but a B&N Cafe. I apologized real fast because I didnt know what type of weaponry was behind the counter. Exactly what I get for assuming. Cheesecake was served on a real plate with a heavy fork and napkins. I flapped one of the napkins and gently placed it in my lap; I didnt want to give off the impression that I wasnt sophisticated. Cheesecake was one of the better ones I had in a long time. Drink came with a paper straw. Makes sense since books are also made of paper, but made it a challenge to stir drink. Challenge Accepted. Overall nice hour slayed.

If you need books, board games, or anything fun off the wall. This is the place. I still enjoy looking for books and enjoying some Starbucks.

Always have new books, large and beautiful decor bookstore. My children love to spend hours here. Barnes & Noble has offered some special editions with author’s signature. I love this idea and always stop to pick some such special books for myself.

Great books, wonderfully diverse kids section, and very clear and effective book organization . The only request I have would be more copies of various books.

Great place to study. Personally not a fan of their coffees though, but thats just one mans opinion. I like frappuccinos and I find that theres are consistently not thick enough. Its more like an iced coffee with too much sugar.

We had a great time coming to this place. Very organized and kept clean. Things are easy to find. Great selections of books for kids and Adults. A lot of variety to find for certain things like things you want to find or just simply interests on things you might just like. The cafe is very spacious. Theres plenty of tables for everything is taken. The kids section is what I truly like the most.

Theyre pushing going green, so bring your own bag to carry out what you buy or buy one there.

Is nice to be able to go back, theres something about buying a book in a place like this and not in amazon for $20 less.

Its a great place to hide from rush hour traffic.Preferred over BAM near University Mall, as its in a quiet plaza.

I came in to see if they had more to the series I was reading, which sadly they did not. I found some cute nic-nacks and made my way to check out. Ms. Fancis S was my cashier and I have to say she was the sweetest lady! Completely sold me on the store and got me to buy the World of Wonders bag. Ill be coming back for my book and to chat with Ms. Fancis!

Nicely kept store. I could spend hours here looking at all of the books. This location also has a Starbucks. Plenty of parking.

I would live in Barnes and Noble if I could, its my home away from he and I enjoy getting a new book and reading in the cafe with a coffee and snack. May I also mention the staff is friendly and helpful, the store neat and tidy, and its so nice as someone who works in customer service to see people enjoying their job and being genuinely happy looking while at work! It makes me happy to support the company and their workers.

I dont go often, but I really enjoy the selection of items they sell here. Aside from books and writers beeds, they sell some great quality gift options for all ages from toys to themed items (toys for all ages, Harry Potter collectibles, etc.) Muy recent purchase was for a book, but I saw items here that could be fun for early Christmas shopping for our 3 year old granddaughter. Im not a shopper, but I definitely enjoy this store for the items they have, service is always friendly, welcoming, & helpful, they dont care if Im exploring/browsing for a lengthy time, (but will check in to see if I need help or if I look lost & the store is always clean. Prices vary and you can call ahead to see if theres something specific you are looking for.

My favorite book store in the area!

I appreciate that they are keeping up with social distancing, providing sanitizer, and posting the mask requirement. The store is very orderly and always neat. I especially like the way they display best sellers. It is very clear what genra books are from an they are easy to see.

They repositioned their categories in the store within groups and it is really nice to walk thru to find what your looking for. The store obviously put a lot of thought into moving things around. Definitely worth a look if your in the area.

The horror section at the Barnes and Nobles in Pensacola has one of the best horror sections of any corporate bookstore I have seen. They stock both major and independent publishers. The staff recommendations help in making choices.

Definitely the best bookstore around, but do we really need the handwritten notes all over the store? The ones insulting you for not reading something at a store that sells books are especially weird.

Barnes & Noble here in Pensacola has a clean store, including their restrooms. The selection is always nice, and the staff helpful. I love the fact that they keep lots of board games and card games in stock as well. I highly recommend this store!

I’ve been here several times. The staff members are always helpful and friendly. The store is organized and well-stocked. The displays are pleasing to the eye. The prices are a little high, but they often have specials and sales that make it worth it. I really love coming to this store.

The staff are friendly and helpful and there is a decent selection of books. The cafe makes good drinks. The membership card wouldnt be too bad, but it auto charges and you have to opt out. That should be explained better, but really you should have to opt in. And trying to do anything related to the card, like cancelling or opting out, is near impossible since calling the number is automated and when trying to talk to someone it sends you to an automated message saying something about not finding information than hangs up on you. I personally wouldnt recommend the card. But everything else is fine enough!

Good bookstore for the area, I was disappointed that the Technology and Programming section was super small... they had a large section of Knick knacks and toys which is weird for a book store.

There was a bit of a line. Wished they people stocking shelves would help take over another register when there is a line of several people or more. Customer should be a priority, unless your trying to encourage people to go elsewhere or shop online. Their customer was good and the line was still bearable, so Im still giving them a good rating.

A relaxing atmosphere with unobtrusive classical music playing and some delicious drinks over at the small Cafe. Book selections are neatly arranged, and currently set up with Covid concerns in mind. Been that I love books, I could waste hours here.

Great customer service! They will order your book if its not on the shelves. This store has so many board games, graphic novels, and vinyl records.

They are always having great sales on some great books. I have gotten some classics at amazing prices. They also have a great selection of different genres to choose from. They have different events and people meet at the coffee shop all the time. And the staff is always friendly and attentive. Its just a great experience just going there.

They dont take starbucks cards or gift cards because they arent really a Starbucks inside of the Barnes and Noble. I dont know. But if you are a Barnes and Noble member you can get a small discount.

Great selection of science fiction and fantasy books. Clean store and the pastries are fine. Coffee is adequate and the staff is stellar. At the end of the day, this is a corporate chain retailer. They are very good for what you expect to find. The free wifi is an added bonus but, I have yet to use it so I dont know how fast it is.

They have really good toys for children. Not just books. The kind of toys that challenge a childs brain.

Store had the books I was looking for today. Employees nearby were offering help in locating the books and also gave thorough recommendations for certain genres.

Went in with my son to get some books for his college classes. The young lady that helped us was super helpful and walked us to each of the books he needed and even had some great suggestions for other good reads. Great experience will definitely be back

This place offers much more than just books they have all kinds toys memorabilia from movies, and popular card games are there as well. If youre the type of person that likes to just go around and shop for good buys? Then this place is probably for you!

Books are unfortunately becoming less and less popular. I love nothing more than a good, solid book in my hands and a good cup of coffee. Its sad how B&N has had to resort to dedicating over 25% of their store space to toys and action figures and other eye-catching stuff in order to get people in their store. But, there are still a lot of books, and they are kept very well.Everything is neat and organized and their comic cook section is honestly the best organized one I have seen at any B&N, which means that the employees take care of it after the kids get in their and throw everything around. I can appreciate that.Their cafe is absolutely wonderful. Its so open and spacious and dotted along the outside of it are these fluffy, comfortable couches that are perfect for having a seat and getting your study on. This is what I came here for. Its the perfect environment to study in with the soft rock music playing to make the ambiance relaxed.I would say this is the place to come for new books. Its wonderful. Come here.

Overall staff is semi friendly but all slightly a little to about themselves. The worst one however is the day manager with long black hair pulled into a ponytail named Brian. Ive frequented this location and bought many books however when addressing him he is not very outgoing; like not even a little bit. Also he never will look at me and make any eye contact and very just dismissive. Sorry me asking you a question offends you somehow I guess? Great selection dont get me wrong. However staff during the day pretty rude. However there are a few in the evening that are great and the girls who work in the Starbucks always great you with a smile and interact with everyone. They make going to this location worth it

Books books and more books I love books so it gets five out of five stars for me I joined the club and get little discounts and the kids love to go because they love books too. If you like books youre sure to like this place too. they also have a little cafe with sweets and coffees so if you like that kind of stuff while you read theres plenty of it.

This book style is like any other large book store. I wont be in a hurry to return due to the cashier being as pushy as a car salesman. She wanted us to buy into their membership but I have one at Books A Million so I dont need another. Also, she kept following us around the store trying to be helpful but she went over board. Instead of just directing us or pointing out the spot we wanted, she pulled out every book and blabbed . We werent looking for that much help and wanted to make our choices in private.

We love this store. The employees take good care of the customers and the Starbucks on-site is wonderful. If the prices were better I would give it 5 stars - but its no secret that it is a bit pricey.
