These guys were great. We were traveling on vacation and the car started dragging something. We found this tuffy .They screwed plate back on car, no charge and no waiting!

You would think that with 4.5 stars that I wouldnt have had to spend almost a grand on two visits to have NOTHING accomplished. My car still clicked and vibrated when I come to a stop and overheated. They said that it was the fan not working that caused the overheating and that there was nothing wrong with the suspension (didnt even inspect the brakes) - it was flat spots on the front tires that caused the vibrations and clicking noises. I took it to a different shop. The thermostat was the issue and the rotors were completely shot. How did Tuffy not find that with 4.5 stars under their belt??? I spent well over $900 on things that could have waited instead of fixing the real issues just because I trusted them. You would think that a corporately owned business would be more professional than that.It was not the tires making the noise. It was the half-shaft. My husband told you it was the half-shaft and you didnt listen. Just like when he told you it was the thermostat and you didnt listen. Look, I appreciate what you did do. Thats why I am not fighting to get my money back. Ill even give you two more stars for it. We just prefer a garage that is willing to listen to their customers.

Recently had a safety issue with my wife’s car. They inspected the vehicle, ordered the parts and made the repairs in a very professional and timely manner. The entire staff was courteous and polite, the waiting area was clean and comfortable, and now my wife’s vehicle is safe to drive again. We will be back for any further repairs. We were very happy with the work done. My daughters Mazda was messed up and needed some major repairs. They gave us a good fair price to make it safe and a price for 100% total repair. It was a pleasure working with them and they were all very friendly. I would recommend these guys to anyone!

Many of the tire shops in Perrysburg were super busy in a Saturday morning and we reached out to Tuffy to see if they would be able to help us out - and they did! They had other vehicles in the shop and took us in right away and had us back on the road within an hour and a half. I went there because I had a check engine light onThey charged me $100 just to diagnose the problemThen they said it would cost me $1,100 to fixI went somewhere else and they said it was a fuel injector and it only cost me $200 and it fixed the problemI would never recommend Tuffy for anything

I was there because my seat belt was blocked, they checked and said yes, your seat bealt is blocked I paid 22usd for an answer that I knew...after that, i was at home and opened the retainer and found a screw blocking the seat belt. They never checked the belt!just look and said is blocked! They never tried to fix it.The result is that I paid for nothing

Tuffys is a fair priced and quality driven auto repair and maintenance shop. I maintain my vehicle here and they are awesome about keeping track of the correct services at the correct time for my truck. I never have a problem getting in for service. They are very friendly and professional. I would reccomend anyone including family to this shop.

They dont try to scam you, or make you pay more than you have to. I have only ever booked 1 or 2 appointments, but every time I am there, I am in and out! Shortly after I moved to the area I started having issues with my car. I went to Tuffy after reading great reviews. I had a great experience with the entire staff here. The guys at Tuffy were very transparent and willing to explain everything to me. I originally called on a Thursday morning, they had my car in within an hour and had an estimate for me by the end of the day. I called Friday morning to schedule to have the work done and they had it in and finished by Friday afternoon. Im really glad I decided to go with Tuffy and I will definitely be returning to them if need be.

Didnt have any service done. But A+ for integrity. Took newly purchased used car in to replace brake pads for good measure. They pretty much refused to take my money and replace them when I was ready to go without debate.

Great group of guys that helped me out when I broke down on the turnpike halfway into a 12 hour drive. They were super transparent and honest with me and the price was very reasonable. I called as soon as they opened in the morning, they got my car in immediately and it was done in the early afternoon. They also gave me a ride back to my hotel while the car was being worked on. I couldnt be more appreciative of everything they did for me!

When I lost my brother needed car repaired. They did what they could to help me. Most wonderful manager and mechanical staff.

I just came in for an oil change, but I definitely impressed. The waiting area is clean and the staff is really nice. I have had issues at other places in the area of being talked down to and trying to be talked into doing unnecessary work to my car, but not here! Will definitely be back!

Good place to deal with and after being new to the area Im absolutely comfortable coming here for all mechanical needs. Been here a couple times and had a slight issue and they made it right. Ive never had much luck with these places. Admittedly I dont know much about cars, but I know enough, and most places still condescend and talk down when it comes to explaining repairs.This case, on the other hand, is one Ive really come to enjoy. Its not a huge hassle to get my car in, they do the job in a timely fashion, and theyre wonderfully helpful when it comes to any questions.Car repairs are always going to be a bit of an annoyance, but the people here make a genuine effort to make the experience as convenient as possible.

Had a 2003 merc sable they fixed up. Chris was honest with me and talked with me about everything. Just from chris alone i went from customer to client. Honest, works hard, and keeps to any time frame given. If you need some work done, come to this location. You can trust them to do what they say and give you a decent price.

This place is great. The owner is always friendly. They did most of the work on my Honda and my Ford. Very reasonable.

Terrible charged 109 dollars for diagnostic on stuck window then wanted 446 dollars to replace window switch. I ordered the switch on line installed in 16 minutes total cost less than 50 bucks. Ill never patronize tuffy again, neither should you.

Took my Saab 900 for an oil change few months ago. After driving around for about a thousand miles I noticed a small oil leak which I had never seen before. After and some investigation I found out they had added a quart too much oil. I had to drain out an entire quart of oil. Still a slight leak. Never trust this place again! In addition I called them to find out how much it would be to have my water pump replaced. They quoted me me a price of around $480. Absolute baloney! Had the whole job done at another shop for $178 including part! Rip off. Should go to small claims.

I was on my way from Cleveland to Chicago for business, and had just had an oil change at a different automotive chain in Cleveland this morning. As my sons and I were driving down the highway, the battery light came on, and after about 50 more miles, the car stopped on the turnpike and would not restart. Once we were able to get the car towed off of the turnpike, the tow driver recommended us to this Tuffy in Perrysburg. From the moment we walked in the door, we knew that everything would be okay. The employees were very concerned that we were stranded in a foreign place, and did everything that they could to help us. We actually arrived about 45 minutes before closing, and they stayed open late to assist us with fixing our car. In a world where caring, upstanding service is almost non-existent, this Tuffy facility truly came through when we needed someone to look out for us. I would recommend this store to any and everyone! A little late getting to this review. We were on a long road trip a year and a half ago. Our cars atf light started flashing non-stop which forced us to stay in Perrysburg for a night. Traveling to Chicago on I80, in a construction zone and during a heavy rainstorm, a plastic under covering of my car tore in half. Luckily, after exiting, we found Tuffys. In a short time, they had it removed and we were back on our way. Thank you Tuffys for being so friendly and helpful. It was truly appreciated!!

We were traveling from Pennsylvania to Indiana today and our car started to make a wobbling noise halfway through our road trip. We exited off the turnpike and found Tuffys. They immediately looked at our car, figured out the problem then fixed it. We were on our way within a half hour! Turns it out it would have been pretty serious if we hadnt stopped (one of the tires was coming loose). The service was excellent and the staff was very courteous!

Got all my brakes replaced and have had several problems since. I was hearing noises so I took it back in under warranty - they said the hardware was not put on properly, it was loose/not attached. I then took my car to my dealership where I typically get work done and they said the rear brakes were not cleaned properly so now am having sticking/wear issues there. Have it take it back in to get that checked. Luckily it’s under warrenty. Overall seems like they rushed through the job, not taking their time to do it right the first time. Completely unsatisfied and totally regret spending time/money here. I recommend dealerships only!!! Get your act together, perrysburg tuffy!!!!

I took our 2010 Suburban into these guys a week ago for our A/C not working. Prior to going in we took it to 2 other places locally and got referred to another place, and a run-around by another. I knew going in that there was a leak in the system, but where I had no idea. I was surprised that when they called with an update, it was the actual technician working on my vehicle to call and talk to me about what he found, recommended. and what could be done. He walked me through the options, cost, and even explained the issue KNOWN on these vehicles for causing the problem. Start to finish, a very thorough, honest place. Just knowing that the technician is the one you are talking to meant A LOT to me. No sales pressure, tactics, no middle man, just honesty, with a one on one relationship you are not going to find at any other big box chain auto repair centers.

Got my oil changed here, my lazy ass was driving around on a tire with low air pressure for weeks, mechanic aired it up for me. What a stand up guy. Ill have to go back when my tire pressure is low again.

Very friendly,they told about things on my wifes car like tires, and other maintenance services that I should have done, but there was no pressure to get them done right away. I will use them again in the future.
