They are mostly nice instore and pharmacy. Many have been there for awhile.coiple are rude that is why 4 not 5 if tgere was 4.5 id give it tk Walgreens. One of the better Walgreens from my experience

Patrick in the pharmacy is super helpful and knowledgeable. The pharmacy is well run, is fast and very friendly. Thank you for helping me while I came in from our of town. I love Walgreens!

Been going there for over 10 years. Most of the staff that’s been there for as long as I can remember is great. It pains me to say this as a woman who is for woman power but all the guys are great!! The guy who works a cash register & shelves who has been there is phenomenal (he’s probably a manager and if he’s not he should be). The pharmacist are always really great. A few of the pharmacy techs that have been there a really long time are great. But when they’re not great they’re awful. They are rude and unhelpful. Usually the teenagers aren’t even trying it feels like. Some of the pharmacy techs are short with you and rude, like your inconveniencing them. Is there no customer service training? They really need to learn how to talk to people. I never talk to people in the tone I see them talk to people. And it’s not even my job! In my opinion that’s unacceptable. Especially when people are sick or have sick people at home or in pain or whatever....when they’re such a gap to were a few were phenomenal but if you were awful it tells me either Walgreens needs to do better at either training, pay their employees better (So they aren’t so miserable), or hire better.**update when I was there on Sunday, 2/7/21 everyone was great! The pharmacist that was working is the one who is phenomenal always. The teenage girl who checked me out was great

New employee that I have never seen before. She was wearing her mask below her nose! When I commented on the proper way to wear a mask, another younger associate with red long hair she kept playing with said they were very busy! WAIT, WHAT?????......AND THATS WHY YOU CANNOT PROTECT YOUR CUSTOMERS?!?Management train your people and follow up on their behavior. You people have loyal customers. Show respect for them!

Mary on the register is certifiably crazy. Rude and freaks out when asked anything like checking points, apply a coupon. RUDE. how is she employed there?? I watched her yell at an elderly woman for not showing her ID for cold medication. Get a life you sad mean lady!!!

They pretty much suck. Once in a while they are ok but they go through a lot of employee changes and are not even close to being on the same page with regard to how they treat/communicate with their customers. Very Rude(usually the young ones) scary(They allow employees to have face piercings, tattoos etc.) Very uncomfortable to older folks.

Avoid this store if you can!They dont care about you and just care about their so-called protocols which they dont really follow!

They shorted me on my antidepressant rx (gave 30 instead of 90) and were extremely rude and dismissive when I called to have it fixed. Arguing with me about how it couldnt have happened, how I have to pay cash for a refill, not even an Im sorry. Worst customer service ever. Never going back.

Poor service in the pharmacy. Prescriptions not ready at promised times on several different occasions. They will provide an emergency supply, but they have no regard that you are inconvenienced with multiple trips (this is something that can be resolved by simply calling to notify the customer prior to the original scheduled pick date/time). No empathy or accountability from Pharmacy Manager and the lack of leadership reflects in the pharmacy staff. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra few miles to a different location and let them handle your medication necessities.

Shopped at many Walgreens. This location is by far the best! Knowledgeable and friendly people that service the customers! Adam in the pharmacy is the best!!!!!

I had been prescribed an antibiotic, for pink eye, something that was time sensitive, as in if I didn’t get it soon it would impact my job if not treated. I had taken off work specifically because of this. I was told it would be ready within the hour, even by their automated response. Then as I checked in I was continually told that it was with the pharmacist, never received a call. Eventually physically went there and was told “the prescription wasn’t exactly prescribed the way they were used to”, therefore they were unwilling to give it to me... so even though I had a prescription by a doctor this Walgreens decided to withhold it from me. They did not care, had zero empathy and it blows my mind that they refused to give me my prescription. I’d understand if it was something addictive etc. But let’s be honest, no normal person is jacked to drip pink eye antibiotics into their eye and abusing it... Bottom line skip the Pewaukee Capital Drive Walgreens.

Slowest pharmacy drive thru in Waukesha county.dont know if its the staff or the customers slowing it down, store has two lanes, but one is permanently closed.

All of the staff are great. Pharmacists are amazing. Great customer care.

The experience is only as good as your fellow customers. The employees are helpful and usually friendly. At times some can seem worn out and more than a few times I have seen completely unreasonable patrons flipping out over simple issues. Blame your doctor or insurance company instead of an employee with no control over the situation. Products available are typical of a drug store and prices are the same or slightly higher than larger stores. Of course you pay for the convenience.My only wish is that it were a 24 hour location.

I don’t write reviews but feel the need to do so about this location. Let me start by saying I am in my mid-late 30’s. I had just left the urgent care on Pewaukee Rd for my sick child. Urgent care doc recommended an over the counter children’s cough medicine that he thought would work really well for my child’s symptoms. Immediately after we left, we went to this Walgreens. I sent my teenager in for the items as my sick toddler was sleeping in the car. These are the items we tried to purchase: 5 boxes Kleenex tissues, Pedialyte, Vick’s vaporub w/lavender for children, and children’s Robitussin cough medicine. My teen came out empty handed and said, “they told me you have to go in they can’t sell me the cough medicine”Okay. I went in. The lady behind the counter, had her usual attitude problem as she always does but I never paid attention to it until today...she asked me for my I.D. I asked for what? She said because of the cough medicine. I have never been carded for buying and otc medicine let alone pediatric medicine. I needed to get my sick child home to rest so I gave her my ID. She handed it back to me and said, “I can’t accept this. It’s expired.” I kid you not, it expired THE MONTH PRIOR!! I told her that shouldn’t matter my date of birth is on the I.D. She the started raising her voice at me and said “I don’t care, your license is expired I am not selling you this medicine” I started arguing as to why this is even an issue, my ID was a legitimate Wisconsin ID that just happened to expire the month before (which I wasn’t even aware of)She called a manager over and the manager did not even look at my license she just said the same thing. She said if it’s expired we can’t accept that and we won’t sell you that medicine.I left extremely unhappy. To prove a point I proceeded to go to FOUR other Walgreens and but the same medicine...I was not carded at any of them.I even explained what had just happened to management at other Walgreens and they said that the way I was treated was horrible. One even offered me a discount because she was so sorry I had to go out of my way with a sick child I’m the car just to pick up a medicine that required no prescription. This Walgreens is horrible. The way I was treated was despicable and the fact that I was denied a childrens cough medicine that requires no prescription even AFTER providing PROOF of my age is utterly ridiculous. I am olive/tan completed and I feel as though discrimination played a major role in the way I was treated. There was no reason for the denial of my purchase, none. And the cashier, who is the regular there, always had a very poor attitude. She was never happy, always rude. I live in the area but purposely go to ANY other Walgreens and my whole family has since stopped coming to this one.AWFUL, AWFUL business. They need an extreme overhaul of management here. It makes Pewaukee look bad.

Horrible customer service. The lady over the phone was just as rude as the lady at the window. All i asked was for help transferring my prescription to a closer walgreens since the wait time was estimated 20 to 30 mins. She left me at the window, came back looking startled 5 mins later asking what i was still doing there and i told me I was holding up the line. She told me i had to find out the info of any other walgreens myself and there was nothing she could do! I ended up going to the location on Mayfair road/Capital Dr . The lady there was much more helpful!

Slowest pharmacy ever been to

I was at the Walgreens at 5:00 this evening. My medication that is extremely important for me to which had been sent by my doctor from my previous Walgreens bc now Im living in Pewaukee again, so it seemed reasonable. I get to the store to discover that although they had received the prescription 2 hours earlier, that the prescription would take at least another hour. They agreed to text me upon finishing, and it is about 6:30 and havent heard a thing. Apparently Im just going to go up there again at 7:00 and physically sit and wait...cant ignore me then! The young girl that handled my situation was totally clueless and quite rude. Maybe they need to have meetings regarding these complaints?!

Morning pharmacist is friendly very quick getting scripts filled! Thanks!

Horrible..horrible..horrible..dont visit this store...very rude people..I was at this store this morning to buy a Loreal lip color...i was just looking at it.this rude lady started shouting from the end of the aisle dont try it on..she repeatedely shouted...I told her did you see me try it on...as she walked closer to me..she knew i did not try it on...she tried to cover up..i felt so insulted.....horrible customer service......she never even apologized..she should be fired..
