Customer service was amazing! Its hard to find businesses that still care about their customers anymore. I was pleasantly surprised at the large cigar collection! Thank you for the clear communication.
Love the new look, but not the way things are set-up. The lack of communication. Once we entered, the gentleman closed off the are for seating and asked if he could assist,, but was not very familiar with the medium blends and that same gentleman assumed that I (none of the ladies) didnt smoke because after we purchased our cigars. He cut and lit them my for us without even asking....That is a huge No No !!!!!
If they send my requested package on time I will evaluate then
Nice atmosphere employees are very knowledgeable of all the products they carry. This is a wonderful place to go for all your cigar needs
Eli with the good hair is a god! Cigar knowledge makes me shimmy! What a wonderful space. If you are a true cigar smoker this is a must visit. Convenient parking right across the street at a cheap lot and indoor/outdoor seating at the lounge along with hookah.
Hey it was my man Mike youngs birthday I stopped to drop of a cooler for a later in the evening reservation and was told there wasnt a reservation. The main man E..jumped into action and took care of us and explained things politely and reassured me he would be ready for a party of six. We came back after dinner and had a ball. Top notch service was given to us buy mr E and a pretty young lady..thanks again
Excellent staff! I personally do not smoke cigars but have clients who do. They also have hookah which I love! I have a client who frequents Smoke so I knew exactly what to get as a gift. Eli knew exactly who my client was and was able to recommend several of their favorites. Thanks to Eli my client was super impressed!
Great cigar bar in Manayunk. Lots of space and tons of seating. Big screen tvs. BYO. $1.50 for every beer you bring. Bring your own glass or cup, (thats what I did). Good cigar collection. Laid back and chill with a good cross section of people; old school cigar afficianados, and people just getting into the scene, its all here.
I use to die by this place but just came in and the new guy demanded I wore a mask and assistant everyone but me. This is sad and disgusting
Fine selection of cigars they only lack a full liquor license.
Was passing through Manayunk when i saw a cool rustic sign that said SMOKE. But also a sign advertising the stores own cigars. Being a cigar lover i popped in. The gentleman that greeted me was polite, chill, and knowledgeable. I asked him about the store brands and was specifically looking for lanceros. He gave me a full breakdown of the blends in each stick including the filler, binder, and wrapper which is just awesome service. His knowledge of cigars was clear and made the impression that much better. Ambiance seemed dim and relaxed. Loved the set up. Awesome little spot and would definately recommend if your in the area looking for some boutique smokes.
I dont smoke but I went with a friend who enjoys cigars. Good vibes, calm music, comfy chairs...very relaxing.
Huge area to bring friends and smoke cigars together, good selection of premium cigars. Very big space, cant stress enough the feeling of executive treatment once you come inside. They have to key you into the cigar lounge and it makes you feel important. Would definitely recommend if your in the area or if there is a sporting event going on you can come watch here with all your friends.
Great cigars at high price
It was a beautiful experience the guy knew all about his selection of fine cigars. Will definitely go back once things go back to normal.
Great vibes! Great selection! Get the Smoke brand!!!!
Cool, chill place with great hookah and cigar options
Great customer service...Eli is the GOAT!!!
Great spot for an enjoyable experience
Awesome. Great atmosphere
Boutique cigar shop with trendy rustic decor and great staff. Bar setup as well as plenty of leather couch seating areas. A great place to enjoy a smoke.
This place is easily one of the most accessible cigar lounges in Philly. Comfortable sofas set up conversation-style so its great for a group outing. The humidor has a nice selection and the service is excellent. They know their stuff. The BYOB is $6/person for wine or liquor and $1.50/beer bottle so add that to your expenses. Highly recommend by me & my friends.
Kudos to owner Kosta & his r/h man Eli for one of the top curated humidors in the whole damn country. Not to mention a shop that also displays a distinctive look & feel, and the above-mentioned top notch staff -- this is a destination cigar lounge. Do yourself a favor and go, put yourself in their hands, and enjoy!
Great place to relax or to do work with your laptop. Good selection of cigars. Plenty of space to spread out.
Very knowledgeable!
This place is totally awesome it had great vibes and the ambiance was very inviting and the cigars were on point. I am definitely going back
If you are ever in Philadelphia you should definitely make a trip here. The cigar selection is nice and the lounge area is very comfortable.
Awesome place! New in town and they welcomed me like family. The humidor has one of the largest selections of boutique brands Ive seen anywhere. Fantastic staff - I dealt with Eric and Eli, both of whom recommended some great cigars. I was also fortunate enough to have lively conversation with one of the owners - Kosta. The lounge itself is massive with a huge projector to watch the game and some of the comfiest seating around. The perfect spot to grab a stick in youre in Philly!
I love the place. Excellent cigar and staff.I especially like the young lady I cant remember her name but she is awesome and so knowledgeable!
Chill spot. Seating areas is first class with big chairs and couches. Need bigger selection of cigars and purchasable mixers behind bar.
Nice neighborhood cigar lounge. Relaxing sitting areas and open space. Ventilation could be improved to control the smoke a little better. Wide selection of lower tier cigars and a handful of middle tier selections. ***Outside cigars are not permitted, I suggest a $3 cutting fee for allowing outside cigars.
If you’re a smoker you’ll love this place! The decor is perfect. I am not a smoker and it was torture, but hey I knew what I was getting into. The guys that work here are very nice too.
Good quality brands on hand and, good service.
Reasonable prices. Relaxed atmosphere. Comfortable seating. Relatively small, yet quality & diverse selection. Personally, I appreciate the character induced by a hovering cloud of smoke. However, the ventilation system is overwhelmed when the house nears capacity. The cool staff and set-up service nicely round out the byob experience.
Should have a way of ventilating the smoke in the air since it gets filled with hookah smoke and cigar smoke. Needs more lively/recent music. And remember no alcohol served here, but bring your own!
Very nice place but way to smokey needs more vents or something!
I have been in a lot of cigar shop and this is one of the most beautiful shops Ive ever visited. Konsta is the owner and has an incredible palate and is extremely helpful picking out the best Cigar for you. The selection at smoke is top notch and if you cant find a cigar u like at this shop then u dont know cigars. I highly recommend smoke and cant wait to visit again.
Great place to sit back and smile with with your friend. Luke aand Eli are the best
Really an amazing cigar lounge. I have visited many cigar shops and lounges. Usually you get a good selection of cigars, a great lounge, or neither. But almost never both. Thats where SMoKE is different. Awesome staff and owner as well.
Excellent service
Great atmosphere +great hosts+great ppl=A GREAT TIME
Nice & relaxed
Amazing group of people. Eli helped me pick up a premium sticks
Nice spot to relax and smoke. Great cigar collection they even have their own house brand. They also have hookahs. Con: after 8pm they charge you when you bring in your own bottle and ask for glasses, $6 per person is too much when its byob and still have to pay if you want ice. A straight setup fee for glasses and ice would be better for customers. Also have to buy a cigar to sit and stay. Ventilation could be a little it better too
Nice variety of tobacco, nice staff, and good vibe. However, just because its a smoke shop doesnt mean you shouldnt invest in a more effective ventilation system. I love the smell but my guest whom I brought in for hookah could barely stand being in the room. Smoking is smoking but having cigars deafen the room makes the hookah loose flavor and defeats the purpose of hookah being a slightly better alternative to actual tobacco smoke.
Too many rules. Didnt even smoke or buy anything. Only rated it because the employee was nice and the atmosphere has potential.
Received an education about what I wanted to buy with patience, respect and courtesy.
They have an okay selection of cigars. Parking was less than convenient. Smoke was interesting. It was somewhat industrial and garage like in decor. Ventilation seemed like it would handle 20-30 smokers well.
Service is really great, however the atmosphere can be a lot better, there was a guy sleeping on the sofa. The football game was on which set the tone of a sport bar. Wont visit back in a hurry
Eli knows his stuff like crazy, great selection and beautiful lounge. Try the Casdagli’s if you’re in, they’re amazing.
Real mellow place. Comfy seats. Great customer service
Went about two weeks ago for the first time. There were two special events going on so it was rather crowded. Cant beat the fact that it is BYOB. However, the smoke smell was really bad. Didnt really notice it until I left. I frequent cigar bars but the next day I got in my car it smelled like I was still in the cigar lounge. The smell was really strong and got in my clothes way more than normal. Not sure if it was because they also do hookah there or if it was just really crowded and didnt have the ventilation to support it. Im willing to give it one more shot because I did have a good time. However, if I experience the strong smoke smell the next day in my personal items, itll be my last time.
Charge too much for tiny cigars but the atmosphere is on point if you really want to chill
Great time! Always a great spot to chill.
The owner (Kosta) is such a great guy. He can make cigar or hookah suggestions and is really easy to talk to. The music selection is always really good. The work-week specials are great, too.
Its a wonderful environment to enjoy a cigar among friend with exceptional ascetics all about
Ventilation is terrible. You cant breathe. I couldnt even see inside when I first walked up. It was so smoky. It sucks because its a really nice place. But I cant patronize this place until they get new ventilation systems.
My happy place. Best selection of boutique cigars Ive seen. Great environment and staff. The fact that it’s byob only adds to the experience.
Hands down the best cigar bar in Philadelphia. I recently picked this hobby up and Im glad I found this place. The staff are extremely friendly and more than willing to help when it comes to selecting a cigar in your price range and what you are feeling flavor wise. The staff treat you as if you have been a long time friend, and they always make me feel at home. The customers as well are all very social and easy to talk to.The owner Kosta is constantly improving the building, every time I come in (once a week) there is always something new. Case in point the lights under the bar and the new chalkboard wall. Its a great atmosphere to come and relax, I can easily spend 2 hours here and leave excited to come back. The couches are INSANELY comfortable and there are two HD projectors.I drive 40 minutes just to come here because I think its just that great of a place. I recommend it to everyone I know who likes a good cigar or hookah!
The staff is very knowledgeable... It is a cool place to enjoy cigars and conversation...
Good spot to chill smoke Hookah and cigars good customer service
Nice and diligent workers. great hookah. comfortable seating. great place to just come and relax with people on a Sunday
Awesome Selection of Cigars. The staff are very friendly, and as the others previously indicated the owner is a very cool, down to earth person. Fun place to hang out at.
Very unique. Perfect staff. Owner very friendly
Great staff and knowledgeable. Theyre always welcoming and have spots available at the bar or in the lounge
It is a great place when they dont closed off their humidor and force you to buy from one vendor.I dropped $22 on this Mombacho cigar and it was only slightly better than a Philly you would get at a 7Eleven.
Awesome location, cigar and hookah selection. Plenty of ventilation and room to chill. Diverse clientele and conversations. One trip here is all youll need to keep coming back.
Not an overly fancy cigar lounge. Byo and a good selection. A few to projections as well as lounge seating and a large bar
Home away from home, great cigars and people. Need better ventilation
Great selection. Great people. Great fun. Everytime.
Just the best kind of business owner here - knows his stuff, loves the product, loves learning from customers, and cares about you. Highly recommended. Great scene and excellent selection of sticks.
The atmosphere is very calm. Music playlist could be better.
Great spot to hit whether you want to just grab what you need or hang out in the chill atmosphere! Great staff! Ill be a friend and customer forever!
Chill vibe, great knowledgeable staff for a beginner like myself, & you can BYOB.
Fair prices, great selection and service
Great place, great people. Youll love it
THIS IS GOING TO BE A LONG HONEST REVIEW. BUT, IT WILL BE WORTH THE READ.I came here this weekend past, with my best friend whom was visiting from California and her cousin recommended this place as a place to gather and have a few drinks (because it was BYOB). I’d never heard of this place and quite frankly I do not smoke, but for the sake of the fun of gathering I tagged along. We took an Uber and were dropped off in front of the building. Yet, we walked passed it quite a few times due to looking for a more ‘vibrant’ entrance. No worries, it literally says ‘SMOKE’ on the building, so once you do find it you will feel a bit silly about it. Lastly, they do not have a bar, so do not expect to have a range of drinks to choose from (again, that is fine). Visiting their website beforehand may prepare you for their ambiance but not their service, so dont just DROP BY (apparently). Let me tell you why. When we first arrived, the impression the shop gave to us, was some sort of cave like underground den. I will admit that I did not hold high expectations for this particular place, however, I probably should have lowered them even more. This makes me sad, because the place has the potential to be a great spot in that area, if they would: execute good business practices, better customer service, actually make people want to come back and bring a friend.First thing is first, DO NOT EXPECT GREAT SERVICE OR EVEN GOOD SERVICE. Aside from the one person in our group, none of us had come to this spot, so we did not know what to expect. We walked in and no one greeted us or pointed us to anything. We stood around lost for about a good twenty minutes, without anyone addressing us. That should have been our first clue to leave. We eventually found someone we thought worked there, only after asking several people walking by. The man who we eventually found, seemed extremely busy and overwhelmed. It was a Saturday night, so we expected it to be a little crowded. However, it was about a good maybe thirty people inside. We stood around more and eventually a friend (determined not to have our night ruined) addressed the man to inquire as to whether we should sit anywhere.“Sofas are for members only” he says and then walks away. Quite frankly, I would have left then. No information as to how to become a member or indication that the place was for members only, so we were again lost. We addressed him again, asking where we could sit. He pointed to the only ten seats by a bar, and all were occupied. However, there was an entire table with no one sitting at it that we were told we could not sit at originally.Nonetheless, finally he cleaned the table off (by clean I mean removed a used hookah) and gestured we could “sit there if we want.” We then sat down and it was another fifteen minutes before we even received a menu to see what it is we wanted to partake in AND we had to chase someone down for even that. Long story short, the experience was a bust and by the time we left, after only about maybe an hour or maybe two (probably way less), we had a tab of $87.50! To be completely honest, I was given the impression that they had an impression of us that played a part in how we were treated. Glasses were $5.50 each (just the glass) and ice was given only when we asked but nothing to scoop it out with!Suppose I was from out of town, walking by and decided to stop in? Suppose I had not read your site menu or anything else? My experience should not rely on extensive research on the ambiance of a place before arriving, as it is your responsibility as the owner to create it. Not the customer.I am open to speaking with your management to elaborate further (luckily this forum has character count or I would go on). But I did not in any way get the impression that we were welcomed there. We really just wanted to come out, have some fun, laugh, they (our other friends) wanted to try your hookah (we usually go all the way downtown) and get a different experience. Sad what we encountered instead.
Very chill atmosphere friendly staff
I love this spot!!! Great atmosphere, good people and the owner is a cool down to earth person. I highly recommend, you wont be disappointed.
THE SERVICE WAS AMAZING!!!I WAS THERE WITH FAMILY, AN GOOD FRIENDS FOR A BIRTHDAY SMOKE, AND WE TRULY ENJOY THE ATMOSPHERE AND SELECTION...
Very nice spot friendly staff
Great atmosphere, staff is extremely knowledgeable, cant wait to go back!
The GM is a standing friendly the place is wonderful relaxing thats going to be my spot from now on wonderful cigar selection I love you guys
No good selection, no drinks. Going to find a better spot
My go to place to connect with friends and colleagues. The staff is very knowledgeable and there is a great selection.
They were unprofessional and kicked us out because we were having a good time
Turned off by extremely poor service and the unwritten byo fee on the weekends. I understand why you might charge a fee, but $1 per beer? Keeping us waiting over 10 minutes at an unbusy time. Nah, maybe I was just on edge that night. Either way I wont be back on a weekend that is for sure.
Priced high for no reason. But if your the only hookah spot around. I guess thats what you do. We couldnt enjoy ourselves because it was freezing and the cigar stint was over whelming the hookah vibe. Go for cigars not hookah
Very relaxing, good Cigars and knowledgeable about them.
Nice place... Small selection of cigars... Also needs to adjust temperature in bldg... COLD....Brrrr
Perfect to chat, smoke, our get a great lesson about cigars or the hookah
