THEEbest donuts in Philly, no question - its objective. And HIGHLY recommended.Beautiful interior design, friendly & attentive staff, outstanding coffee, and a thoughtfully-curated roster of donuts that will appeal to all... 🥳🥳Last bit - you simply MUUUST try one of their savory options - you will not be disappointed... 🏆🏆🏆
I would easily give 5 stars to this cozy, tiny coffee shop. It has very creative and novel flavors for the donuts and I love them. But I saw a tiny flying insect on one donut at the shop and that was off. I know it’s inevitable to have insects in shops, and the solution is as easy as having a glass door for the shelf that contains the donuts! I noticed that it was all open and anything, including dust and other invisible, dont sit on donuts.
This donut shop is right outside of my apartment and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting until one time there was metal in my food. Also, the donuts usually taste pretty stale.I contacted the manager and he did rectify the matter but I do not order food from there.
If you want the best donuts go to Fishtown and get one of each. Make sure to get the Reanimator coffee too!!
As a longtime Philly resident and a lifetime picky eater, I can say with the utmost confidence that their signature savory puffs are the very best handheld breakfast delights in the city (that Ive ever had, at least). The miso mushroom stuffing is simply scrumptious. The everything-style topping is weighted perfectly. It is difficult to articulate the flavors. If youre like me and prefer savory over sweet, these are a must-try-treat. Theyre vegan too! The donuts and coffee arent too shabby either. Pair all three together and youre in for a delight. Tastey food thats curated nicely by good people, what else could one ask for?
I ordered the maple oat milk latte and it was amazing. It had a bold coffee flavor with a nice warm spice and was incredibly smooth. Pick up is a bit confusing right now as you cannot enter the storefront. I recommend ordering online (on their website). Just a heads up, once you get there you still need to wait in line on the ramp to check in. We did not try the donuts as we were on our way to the dog park; it’s such a convenient stop if you are going to pops dogs.
No toast as stated online and the milkiest overpriced matcha i ever had
Best donuts in Philly hands down! They have the best texture (fluffy and yeasty) and the flavors aren’t overwhelming. Definitely a great spot to visit.
Loved my vegan donuts and the friendly staff
Delicious vegan donuts! And coffee too
Hello Donuts + Coffee is a welcome addition the neighborhood! They have good coffee(Reanimator) and good portion of the donuts are vegan so just everyone can have them! There are 3 small tables inside for seating as well as a long high top ledge along the front window area. On nice days there are also 2 small tables outside. If you are going with friends, the pull-aparts are great for sharing!
Great people great doughnuts
I used to give these as a gift but the staff isnt that friendly... So many other donut places... Also, $32/dozen is too much.
Great donuts, good coffee, limited hours- but it is what it is! Excellent addition to the neighborhood
Great coffee great donuts but you already knew that
Okay I tried hello donuts for the first time and it was not good! If you get a donut thats not fresh it does not taste good at all If you get a fresh donut it it tastes okay. The salt that they put on it makes it too salty to enjoy, the chocolate donut isnt even chocolate it just has chocolate frosting and its a regular donut. The taste and texture of the donut is not enjoyable. it has the texture and taste of a piece of white bread that was smooshed and then rolled up into a donut shape. These donuts are very cute and the concept is great so its really unfortunate that they taste pretty bad
Too expensive. Federal donuts are A almost half the price. Crazy.
Supper clean ! and great Donuts
Best donuts in Philly. Nice vegan options too.
Try them all and you won’t be disappointed! This place is a hot spot for delicious donuts. A little bit on the expensive side but it is worth every penny! Plus they have vegan options! Also I like the fact that they have different flavors every time I go there!
Sweet and fluffy donuts, they tasted really good
Very nice coffee shop the coffee is great staff are too
The egg and cheese was great
Go early and grab the GS caramel delights donut version while you can its insanely good!! I wasnt a fan of the vegan donuts, I always find them a bit dry but they were the best Ive had
AMAZING doughnuts. I suggest ordering ahead because they run out Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Amazing food and staff! Best vegan donuts around! And all the donut flavors are unique.
Donuts = LOVE
I first met Hello Donuts via a brunch gathering at a local restaurant. One of my friends was emphatic when saying that their doughnuts are so good and so I ordered a few as a side treat for the table to share. Not only was everyone at the table impressed, there was a slightly humorous tiff over who got to eat the Lions share of each donut; theyre that good.Since then, Ive always ordered Hello Donuts when I saw it as an option on a local eaterys brunch menu. And now that theyre offering pick-up orders at their location in Kensington (aka Philly), I felt such joy to indulge my sweet tooth and support their local business. If you have a sweet tooth too, and want to enjoy a doughnut that is far more gourmet than any other that has passed your lips--this is a must try it kind of spot.
Donuts are so tasty, one of my favorite places to stop on my way to work! They are definitely on the denser side which I like, but especially the cake donuts are not as light as some other Philly favorites. Flavors are on point though, and anything they do with chocolate has been the best so far in my opinion (dark chocolate sea salt was soooo good). Flavors change monthly with weekly specials, allows you to have favorites more than once while keeping it interesting.
Their yeast donuts have the consistency of bagels.... if you’re into bagel donuts knock yourself out. They didn’t even have any jelly filled and their oat milk curdled In the coffee... I still drank it. It was ok. You have to buy coffee with a bagel donut to soften their bagel donuts.
Fantastic tasting donuts! We got the blueberry and speculoos (kind of a cinammon spiced taste) donuts. At $3/donut it is on the pricier side so it wouldnt be an everyday thing but its nice as a treat. Staff were very pleasant as well.
They are doing donuts all kinds of right. All 6 kinds are unique, extremely tasty and the dough is phenomenal. Will definitely be going back for more.
Had a Boston Cream and Chocolate Crumble and the Crumble was great but the Cream oh my LORD it was the best donut I’ve ever had in my 25 years of existence.I highly recommend this little place, so good!
I wanted to like this place a lot since I live so close. The donuts are really good but theyre way too expensive. 3 dollars for one donut. Fresh quality donuts in center city from Beilers or Fed Donuts are sold for almost half of what hello donuts sells them for.
I really enjoy the variety of flavors offered each week! The aesthetic of the shop is really great and a pleasant place to chill.
I loveeee Hello! Its so close to my house, ALL of the baristas are super friendly and warm, and everything is delicious. A wonderful atmosphere.
This place is generally very expensive. And they don’t seem to have a lot of options on a daily. I think three dollar donuts is a bit expensive. But for the convenience of those who live locally and who want a Vegan Treat. This is a go to place.
Love it ❤️
The banana filled donut was my favorite of all time! They should offer a discount on the half dozen.
Great new place!!! donuts are amazing, I think I like them better than federal donuts - theyre more doughy and less cakey like FDs. great place to hang out and work too.
If I dont leave with a donut on each of my fingers, Ive failed.
Really great donuts but some of the flavors, like Thai Tea, dont really taste of anything but sugar.
Pretty pricey for a donut at $3 apiece. The flavor selection is good, and the texture of the donuts is chewy and just the right density.
Expensive but tasty. Kudos for having re-animator coffee
The coffee was delicious best donut ever
Apple cider donut and matcha latte were delicious!
Great service, delicious donuts, love their chai latte!
