Reanimator is one of my favorite places to get a latte in the neighborhood! They have a super convenient pick up window and offer online or in person ordering. They rotate their flavored lattes depending on the season, all with house made syrups. The one down side is that there is only one size latte (pictured) and I could drink a much larger size because they’re that good! They also offer great milk alternatives, including my favorite, oat milk.

More overrated hipster trash that Philly tries to market as the next best thing. Go to Gran Caffe L’aquila if you want a real espresso.

Please don’t bother with this store. I rarely leave negative reviews but felt compelled to write this one.I love visiting local neighborhood coffee shops and have had a pleasant experience at most of them. This was one terrible. The employees were rude and miserable and the coffee was not worth the money. Not sure if it had anything to do with me being a minority because the girl was ultra friendly to the girl that ordered behind me and she was white.

I have been enjoying Reanimator Coffee since I moved to the neighborhood in 2014. I love the shop, the coffee and the pastries...BUT there is one downside to my experience nearly every day. The one young lady with the black hair is just plain mean and has been since the first time I encountered her at the Susquehanna location. I get it...you can never be sure of demons that one is fighting, but every encounter is negative and belittling. Cheer up girl, life is too short.

Ive been going there regularly since 2013. Best coffee in Philly. The baked goods do not disappoint either.

Even the batch brew was phenomenal.thick, bright, and fruity.The salted vanilla latte was also very well done. Thanks, friendly and skilled baristas :)

Philadelphia — you’ve really struck gold with this coffee roaster. ReAnimator is at the top of their game and it shows. This specific location is super welcoming and cozy. A great place to post up and get some work done. Anytime I’m in town, this is a must visit.

This has become our go to coffee shop in the neighborhood. It’s a great location to sit outside and talk at one of their outdoor tables. It’s also convenient to a couple of restaurants that are good spots to pick up lunch or dinner.

You get what you get at ReAnimator. Its either excellent coffee or youre leaving for lack of service. Needs a little reform; typically great.

Been frequenting this coffee shop for years, love the coffee.. it gives the strongest buzz Ive experienced among coffee shops in Philadelphia. Also the rewards program is a brilliant idea that pays off if you go there a lot. Wish they had a kitchen and more pastry options

My go to coffee shop. The decaf espresso is so rich and delicious. They just came out with a new vanilla latte with homemade syrup topped with smoked salt, and its to die for. They now have a rewards program. Great, quiet place to work.

One of my most favorite coffee places in the city!

This is a neat, comfortable little coffee place. The building is cool, the space open and inviting and the staff is enjoyable to talk with while you are there. The menu is basic but covers most areas. My hot chocolate had good flavor and the temperature was perfect. My friends tea was tasty and she enjoyed the aroma.

Need to update my review from a little over a year ago. The staff is considerably more approachable and welcoming than previously encountered. Its nice quiet spot in the neighborhood. Hopefully theyll keep encouraging their staff to actually be nice to people. I cant give 5-stars because they still cant find a way to make cold brew, and in a city with 90 degree heat and 400% humidity in the summer, itd be nice to have a pleasant tasting cold brew coffee instead of bitter iced coffee.

I dont understand how this place exists, its so good. The coffee there is better than any other place in the city, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the bathroom is always clean, and the music they put on is top tier. Sometimes I find myself taking my headphones off to listen to what the baristas put on. Get a hot mocha and hang out for a minute.

Very polite staff. American coffee is very tasty. Easy to focus environment if you’re going there to get work done.

Pour over coffee. Not for the rushed. A nice destination. Im assuming the roasted bagged coffee of the same name is by the same people, its quite good. The way the street divides right there is funky, and creates an interesting unique parking spot.

Now this is a place that really knows how to make a good coffee. The flavors are so bold that they are left in my mouth for hours after I finish my drink. And the baristas are very knowledgeable and make the best fancy coffee drinks. Staff was very helpful and friendly

After traveling the country for four months, this place still remains the best drip coffee Ive ever had. Im impressed by good batch brewing. ReAnimator archives uniqueness in flavor. Very dog friendly.

Great coffee and a reasonable price. The place is relatively big and open. However they dont have many seats, so we were left standing with no table, holding out coffees. The prices are reasonable.

I was looking for a place to relax and do some work while killing some time. Wasn’t able to use their WiFi. Not set up to use it without bothering the employees. A bathroom would also be helpful. I did enjoyed my hot chocolate and the employees were very friendly.

On my third visit, I had to stop going.The staff perpetuates the stereotype that coffee shops are pretentious.They seem to enjoy making you feel inadequate.I asked for a refund before they ever poured my coffee. Website prices for Single Origin Coffee are apparently suggestive only to clerks who work the counter. Be prepared to be occasionally ripped off a dollar or two.

ReAnimator is your basic hipster coffee shop, which I am totally here for. Comfortable seating area, outstanding coffee, friendly staff.

Sweet little spot for an afternoon pick-me-up. There is a great sitting area available outside for reading or people watching, and the coffee is very good.

I keep coming back because the espresso is good and location convenient; however, the wifi is usually not working and the staff has been rude a few too many times.

This is a comfortable coffee house with delicious coffee. I highly recommend. They have a wide variety of drinks and the baristas are well schooled in the art of bean and leaf.

Really chill atmosphere. Place had a nice open layout which is WAY nicer then the cram as many tables/chairs as possible layout that many of the other coffee shops present. The employees were extremely helpful which was nice, especially since it was my first time there. Also, the regular coffee is superb! Im not that into all that fancy espressos and shots of this with a side of that. So for a coffee shop to be on point in my opinion, it has to offer exceptional regular coffee. They definitely have that covered. And they also have a selection of pastries and cookies! It was awsome. Good job ReAnimator! Ill definitely be back.-HotToddy

Coffee is mediocre at best. I feel that their packaging/marketing is where the hype in their coffee stems from bc the taste is whatever. However management at this establishment is insensitive to trans women therefore I will not be returning or giving them my money any longer. If you care about trans women you should do the same & not give any Reanimator locations your money either.

This is the best coffee spot in Philadelphia. The coffee at Reanimator is perfect. Everyone that works there is so knowledgeable and seem happy to explain all of the varieties and different choices. Give it a try you will not be sorry.

Gorgeous coffee shop on the corner, outside seating in the summer, a bunch of two-tops for wifi workers or coffee dates, even a table for groups. Synesso espresso machine they have is one of the best in the industry.

Ive been ordering bags of coffee from reanimator for about 2 years now. They have the best lattes and fresh roasted coffees Ive had anywhere. Staff is usually super nice, willing to talk with you about coffee and make your drink the way like it. Ive never had a bad drink here. Every barista is an absolute pro. It probably doesnt hurt that they roast on-site. When i order coffee online, its always on my doorstep a day or two after roasting.

Doesnt get much better than this...not super dog friendly the day I was there (another customer wanted dog outside, but where it could see her ordering and they couldnt accomodate). I dont have dogs though so not a real problem for me.

To be fair Ive only gone once...however I stood in line for 10 minutes...I was 6th in line and it hadnt moved at all. There was one barista and appeared to be no one else helping in the shop. Myself and the couple in front of me left. A trusted friend of mine has gone to ReAnimator and is not a fan of the coffee.

The coffee is very unique, the atmosphere is great, and the people are nice. Parking may be difficult, but this place is worth your time.
