I’ve been coming to Rybread since May, when I moved to the neighborhood. Everything I’ve tried I’ve loved, and every friend I’ve brought here loves it too. Staff is always so friendly and nice. I’m very grateful to have such a gem, so close to home.

Bought a carrot muffin two sandwiches one was a San Antonio and the other Hollywood and the Cobb salad witch the chicken is served cold.The place is very inviting and the staff is super friendly.My San Antonio sandwich was great 👍 tasty my wifes Hollywood sandwich that was better than mine.All in all totally recommend a visit yummy fresh and friendly 😋 what more can you ask?!?

I meant my guy, retired professional Basketball star, Robert Battle, here for lunch. The food and service were both good. The place is small and parking is challenging in the area.

Really great sandwiches for both breakfast and lunch but you cannot be in a hurry. Even if you preorder online they make you wait in line with everyone else to pick up your order. Really bad system if you’re trying to be in and out. Even if there’s extra people they’ve never been helpful and are sometimes rude about it. But if you have the time to wait, definitely a great eat.

Consistently my favorite spot for a quick salad or sandwich. Being vegetarian, their menu is very flexible and the Santa Fe panini is a huge favorite! It’s been my go-to for years and their sister restaurant Rybrew is too when I’m closer to that location. Not a fan of their coffee, but overall, can’t rate them higher!

A good neighborhood staple. Service is sometimes hit or miss and wait times can be a bit long during weekends (up to 30 minutes) but the food is good. Great option for a quick breakfast/brunch.

The sandwich was delicious and fresh. Curbside seating was nice. However, for some reason, the sandwich was on the table 10 minutes after the rest of our table received their orders. I had to go back in and retrieve it. Not quite sure why.

Solid sport nestled on the popular growing Fairmount Ave. Great location. The sandwiches were really awesome. Though the coffee left something to be desired I would highly recommend this spot to anyone needing a place to sit, read and move on.

Small cafe with few outdoor seats. Sandwiches are pretty outstanding. Sandwiches can be made on a variety of bread types and consist of fresh vegetables and/or fresh sliced deli meats.

$8 sandwiches you would pay $13 for. Delicious smoothies and homemade baked goods. Friendly staff!

Just moved into the area literally today. Needed a quick bite before movers arrived with our belongings and dropped into Rybread. Glad we did.Had the signature Rybread sandwich. Crab cake, greens, tomato and chipotle mayo. Served on a brioche bun. It was excellent. Very fresh and good amount of crab in it. Would get again for sure.GF had the Philadelphia sandwich which was Served on a baguette with Genoa salami, capicola, prosciutto, sharp provolone, iceberg, tomato, onions, oil and vinaigrette. Very tasty and even had half left over for second day.They carry Route 11 Chips which if you haven’t ever had, you should. Try the Mama Zumas Revenge. Had a Joe Tea to wash it all down.Great local spot for fresh eats. Next up to try will be breakfast. Don’t forget to look at the specials board.

Order an Austin salad and surprise me, no avacado. Read some reviews and they were right, turkey sandwich woth no turkey. By the way the salad was not any good.

The sandwiches are always well made and have a good portion of deli meat in it. No espresso maker, but the fresh brewed coffee is consistently good. They have delicious baked goods, and also make bacon treats for pups!They currently only allow 3 customers inside to comply with covid precautions. You cant eat inside the establishment, but they do have a couple tables for outdoor dining.

My boyfriends very favorite sandwich shop! They have a great selection of sandwiches and salads and Bakery items. Everything is fresh made with pretty standard pricing. They have been open during the shutdown for pickup, but no inside seating.

Everything is delicious... and I mean everything. Our store is directly next to Rybread so we frequent the shop daily for killer smoothies, yummy breakfast options, unique sandwiches (the Kingston has grilled pineapple on it), and belly-filling salads. Ryan, Stephanie, Kate, and the entire crew could not be nicer. Were super grateful to call Rybread our neighbors and look forward to continuing to patronize the business for years to come!

Rude people, rude customers, food is old (the entire section of cupcakes etc sit out for weeks or months never covered. they can’t choose between a pick up and order line u get to wait 2 hours with the most stuck up people in philly, don’t waste ur time or money here; support local and these people are not

Finally went here to try their panini and bagels. I had the Napa with prosciutto and it was fantastic. On my second visit I had the bagel with lox and cream cheese. The bagel was a little weak. Hopefully next time it will be better.

A little bagel place with coffee. They are really fast and very nice. Wish had a espresso machine but we love their coffee anyways! Love it!

I gotta stop giving this place chances. Its nearby my house so Ive been there a handful of times and although the food is fine (basic sandwiches) the service is consistently bad. Theyre rude, they mess everything up (no turkey on a turkey sandwich? Really?), or they just forget to make my order altogether. Its not worth the struggle.

I just tried the veggie buffalo panini and it’s out of this world! What a great sandwich. It’s fun to have unique options for vegetarians but I think meat-eaters would even enjoy this too.I also bought a funfetti cupcake and planned on saving it for later but it looked so good! Very happy with both of my choices.

I placed an order at 11:20 and I was promised my order around 12:30. Its 1:20 and still no order. They said that they didnt have enough cupcakes therefore they hade to make another cupcake. I will not be ordering here again.

I’ve given this place many chances and it’s always mediocre or bad. I don’t think they eat their own food. The toppings aren’t fresh, the meat has no flavor and the chicken is rubbery. They dump so much of whatever condiment onto the sandwich that the sandwich then tastes like that condiment. The makings of a good spot are there, but the execution is terrible.

Their scones are ah-mazing!! I’m a huge scone eater. And this is my favorite place in Philly. Good coffee and breakfast sandwiches too.

The owner of this establishment treated my co-worker like complete trash. The salad we received included meat that was inedible. Instead of just exchanging the salad, she told us that she had eaten the salad yesterday and it tasted fine. She refused to acknowledge the fact that we just wanted to get a new salad. We were not asking for a refund just another salad. She told us that this is not a sit down restaurant. Her attitude and behavior towards customers was disgusting. As the owner of a restaurant one of the main goals should be to make your customer happy. I understand that some demands can be out of line or plain ridiculous, but when asking for a new salad because the one we received was inedible we should have been treated with respect. My entire company will no longer be coming here for lunch and this establishment just lost a lot of business. The owner should try attending a customer service class to learn how to treat others with kindness and respect.

The best carrot cake cupcake Ive ever had. Sometimes I go just for one, or two, or those. And, Im not even into carrot cake cork cupcakes like that. Their sandwiches are on point, too. If you like crab meat, you really cant go wrong with the self-named Rybread sandwich. Up for some ice cream after? I recommend Philly Flavors just a few blocks East on Fairmount.

Good prices for good food! Smoothies are creative and tasty. Good, casual brunch or coffee spot. Will definitely be back.

Parking isnt fun but theres a shop of some kind next door & they seem to put up with people stopping there to run in. All them about The Charlotte, a turkey honey mustard sandwich that isnt on the menu

Best sandwiches, great environment, amazing staff! They even have a dog water bowl outside and sell home made dog treats! I love seeing places thinking outside the box to appease ALL customers, even furry friends.

Stopped by yesterday, it was right after lunchtime but had not eaten (around 3 pm). Nobody else in the store. My wife and I perused the menu, which includes a sizable variety of hot and cold sandwiches but decided to leave without placing an order.The reason We left is that as I scanned the menu board, I noticed too many flies in the establishment. I could see either five or six separate houseflies hopping around on different parts of the counter area.Its very important to note, its been along time since Ive seen even a single housefly run amok in a restaurant or café. The reason for that is obvious, if the fly gets in to your restaurant you kill it as quickly as you can.Multiple houseflies landing on counter areas in an empty restaurant are an automatic fail for me. At the absolute minimum, it means the employee(s) is/are not paying attention to sanitation. Also, anytime I see more than two flies, it raises the concern that there is an endemic issue and they didn’t just sneak in through the door.I say this as someone who has managed multiple restaurants and cafés in his lifetime. Presence of flies in an empty restaurant is enough to turn around and walk out without giving a second thought.It’s disappointing because the menu looks appealing and Rybread is just 3 blocks from home so it would have been an easy option.

I am sitting here half way through the San Antonio sandwich. the roast beef one. i am so pleased that i had to stop eating it to write this review. I eat breakfast here a lot but never considered going for lunch until today since i was off for my birthday. my word. this sammie is legit.

Not good customer service! The customer is telling the owner their salad was not what they expected and the answer is: too bad?! If youre in the food business, you have to be a little more accommodating. Thank God we didnt find a hair or something she would have told us to eat it!!! You just lost a whole lunch crowd to Zorbas!

They were the only place open during the snow storm and were absolutely fantastic! Would recommend even without the snow. (Plus they gave us free scones so God Bless)

Usually pretty good, they have been slipping lately I hope they go back to the old ways lol. I got a sandwich I had to throw out today It was a floppy sloppy mess I couldn’t even put it together for one bite.. the bread wasn’t cut and was soggy and mayor everywhere. it was not pretty from the second I opened it. They used to have perfect sandwiches! And I spent like 13 on that and a small cold brew :( I’ll try one more time but if it’s the 3rd bad experience in a row I will have to say goodbye

If theres no line, a great spot to pop in and get a sandwich and coffee. You wont be disappointed. But if you see a line, just keep going. It can be painfully slow, and unless its a nice day the shop doesnt offer much room for people standing and waiting (a couple of small tables). Ive waited up to 45 min on a couple of occasions for a sandwich, so Id recommend picking and choosing your spots. The sandwiches are very good, but I dont know if theyre that good if the wait is involved. The staff is always really friendly for what its worth.

Despite the many reviews about how slow the service is, we decided to stop here on the way to the zoo at 9:30 on a Sunday morning to grab breakfast sandwiches to go. There was only one group of three people ahead of us before we placed our order, and three people waiting for their already placed orders. 40 minutes later- we walked out of the smoke-filled (apparently this is normal) restaurant with our two breakfast sandwiches. The wait was unbelievable- and the sandwiches were just OK. The counter girl was nice, and trying to make up for the fact that the kitchen clearly were totally unable to juggle both the phone orders and the in-house orders, as no orders would seemingly leave the kitchen for 15 minutes- while all the people waiting were wondering what the hell was going on. Needless to say, we wont be going back.

They have great breakfast and lunch type sandwiches!! My lady friend and I frequently eat here for breakfast. The service is always with a smile and the food absolutely delicious. Definitely a spot worth checking out and dont be afraid to bite into a sandwich off the lunch menu, they are all made to perfection and will provide your palate with a plethora of taste options and ingredient choices!!

Instead of trying to help me resolve issue after I paid for order, owner refused to assist me. Became very rude and was basically told that it was not their fault that I was unsatisfied. In a city full of unhealthy sandwiches, Ryebread Cafe stands out as a healthy but still delicious option. The sandwiches are named after cities: I loved my Savannah.

Sometimes a longer wait when theyre busy, its NOT common, but its worth it! Quality is outstanding. Not a lot of places that are 2 steps up from a hoagie shop. You do pay for the extra quality, but thats to be expected.

The staff is sweet and the food is always great!Its a little cramped but I really dont care because it is where I dip in and out of for fast, friendly service and delicious food on my way to the parkway.I highly recommend giving it a whirl when on the go.It is one of my 2 favorite cafe spots north of market street!And their new place on Girard is actually really awesome too! Consistently great sandwiches here, just like at RyBrew. The new space at 1711 Fairmount has so much more seating than the old location.

Rybread has a great selection of sandwiches and the prices are very reasonable. We go just about every weekend for the Croissants and egg melts. Theres nowhere like this place anywhere in Fairmount!

Amazing sandwiches and salads: fresh all day, everyday!

After checking out the Philadelphia Museum of Art, my friend and I were on our phones looking for a good affordable place to have lunch. Many of the other restaurants and cafes in the area were coming in with very high per plate meals, but Rybread did not!We got there and were pleasantly surprised by the place. For the size they have a great deal of seating available to sit down and enjoy your meal(not applicable to cold weather). They had a broad selection of sandwiches, salads, and paninis.I had the San Antonio, a roast beef sandwich, and it was great. My wife and friend both had salads and could not stop talking about how great the salads were.This is a great place to stop and have a nice meal.

We had the denver and tucson sandwiches. They were delicious. Quality of the food definitely 5*. The service on the other hand left much to be desired. The staff acted like they were doing us a favor to take and prepare our order 2*

Went in for the first time today on a grub hub delivery and instantly noticed how cheerful the lady on register(didnt catch her name) but to say the least loved the atmosphere !💘 Upon picking up the order ...i admired the homemade extra large cookies that were looking soooo yummie..she was sooo sweet and gave me one !!!😉 And might i add it was everything !!!love that cookie thanks for being a great at your job!!🎊🎊🎊

This place is terrible. The staff is clueless and not only lost our order but also messed it up when conplete. I have been here on 3 seperate occasions and the staff is always terrible. The sandwhiches are not the worse but their lack to details and messing up orders just derails their any hope for a better rating.
