Love the freshly brewed coffee here. Whenever I board Amtrak trains at 30th street, I grab a cup of coffee here.
Super friendly staff, but terrible coffee. I was here recently while traveling from Philly to Boston. The barista super nice and allowed me to sample one of the coconut flavored iced coffees. It was too sweet for me. I ordered a large iced coffee. It was very watered down, and week. I really cant say a whole lot about it.Located inside 30th Street Station. Its just one of many places to grab coffee and pastries.
Saxbys in general is good but being in the train station there werent many other options. Worth it if you are in a rush but if you have time, there are plenty of other places to try in the area! coffee was fine and egg and cheese was adequate but nothing to ride home about!
I usually get coffee here every morning. Coffee is good and the staff is friendly, but man, you guys have to SPEED UP!!!!!! Literally everyone in the station is trying to make their train and I’m constantly amazed at how long it takes in line and then to get your coffee. If I don’t have 10 full minutes I know I’m not getting coffee before my train leaves... I was one of 3 people in line today that had to bail to catch their train. Two registers and still SLOW. 😩
Well made lattes and cappuccinos, always a friendly staff working. Fast service and always open when Im in and out of Philly.
One of the friendliest places Ive ever gotten coffee. And theyre so accommodating about bringing your own cup
Literally the best PSL I’ve ever had
Good option for early morning coffee before hopping on the train! I wish the prices were a bit lower, but great place to grab coffee to-go.Service: Servers are very friendly and accommodating, and they move quickly too.Drinks: All seem to be on the pricier side, and they will charge 75 cents for almond or soy milk alternatives. They also have a bit more variety outside of traditional drinks - cinnamon lattes, white chocolate mochas, British islander.etc. Ive tried their smoothies (groothie) which tastes amazing, but makes me worried due to the likely large amount of added sugar. The quality definitely varies, based on what you order - some coffee options are better than others (e.g., white chocolate drinks are too sweet for me, cappuccinos can taste great some days, diluted other days).Overall: 4/5; great option for if you need to board train early in the morning - I just wish they were a bit more affordable, and the coffee quality more consistent.
Awesome upgrade with the new construction. Have a mini-crush on the morning cashier girl, who is genuinely the nicest person youll ever meet. Great service all around and very happy about this new classy addition to 30th Street.
I caught them taking care of homeless people at the station. A corporate coffee shop with a soul and altruism are rare. Support them always.
I like saxbys. The Vacay Smoothie is amazing 👌
Decent coffee, but the bullying between staff wasn’t so good. Hope it was just someone having a bad day!
Good service, personality begging to come out!
Coffee is good and service is always excellent! For a quick coffee on the run.
Great staff and yummy chai tea latte. Customer service is awesome!
Fruit flies. So many fruit flies in the pastry display.
Worst hot chocolate I have ever had. Waste of $4
Try their hot chocolate, the best in the city!
Not real good but much better than dumping donuts!
Excellent espresso ❤️ and courteous staff!!
Nice to have a real coffee place at 30th St Station now!
Cheerful, friendly staff and good coffee.
