Cute little coffee shop with a great staff. I was followed into the coffee shop once by a man that was being kind of sketchy and he was standing super close to me and yelling that he wanted a coffee. The staff respectfully asked the man to back up and they would be with him in a moment. A week after i found out this man was following women into their homes but the staff at shot tower made me feel safe. They’ve made me a customer for life!
The Gorgeous Town Coffee Shop. For morning coffee, we had delicious cakes and espresso coffee here. Afternoon tea and menus for children are also offered. It was worth savouring. Greatly recommended!
This is my favorite coffee shop in Philadelphia. Best espresso drinks, cozy vibe (even during covid!). In normal times, they put out copies of The NY Times and that is just the best way to spend your morning.Edited: Still delicious, but don’t get the ham/cheese croissant. It is really gross.
The vibe here is really good and baristas are friendly
Great coffee. Good music and friendly vibes. This spot is great to hang out and work.
Drinks are great, staff is friendly and professional. The space is welcoming. And I had the best vanilla cream donut of my life here.
Very flavorful coffee. Solid croissant. Kinda skimped on the cream cheese for my bagel, though.
They have one of the best tasting oat milk lattes that I’ve ever had! I make special trips here from Delco just for a cup. Their prices are reasonable too, compared to several other places that I go to. They have bagels, pastries, and other items as well. Staff are friendly, place is very clean and have a great smelling hand sanitizer. Tough part is parking, but that’s not their fault.
Nice place, good coffee, great price.
Great coffee. Try the oolong tea and the turmeric ginger tea it cures what ails you. Staff always on point
Comfortable placeGood pour

Really friendly staff and decent coffee.
It was a very nice building ..Im fasting so didnt get a chance to taste the coffee but there people in line ..
Definitely worth the trip out here for some delicious coffee! The simple menu only means that every order is made to perfection. I enjoyed my cappuccino along the table top.
Good local coffee shop. They observe social distancing. There are a few outdoor tables

Great Covid guidelines and safety, tasty coffee and friendly and competent staff!! Love it.

Everyone at our table was enjoying everything. The service here is attentive. It has a cool atmosphere.
Great experience! Everything on their menu is delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Been coming in here regularly for years. Service is great, coffee is great, but the Mocha is the best I’ve ever drank. Since, drinking coffee from here- My experience elsewhere is subpar.
I live on top of another coffee shop but walk the extra 4 blocks to come here. They serve great drinks, play great music, and are such a great staff!
Love this place. it has wifi, heating, outdoor seating, indoor seating with couches and lounge chairs, plus if you want to have a meeting or study group you may call to reserve a separate room with the same great amenities.
Low key best mocha in the city fresh delicious coffee.
They have the BEST iced coffee I have ever had. Staff is super duper friendly as well
This place is so lovely. everyone is really nice, staff and customers. great vibe. and not to mention delicious coffee!
Great ambiance. Great service but the coffee is bitter. I like the fact that they give sparkling water with the coffee. Particularly important to wast that bitterness out of my mouth.
Cool, hip vibe. Industrial chic. Great coffee.
The quality of the food is highly memorable.
Love the espresso! They do it proper and I greatly appreciate it. Its one of the best in the city. The staff is nice as well and to shop its self has a nice warm vibe.
This is our go to neighborhood coffee shop. We probably visit once a week on average. The space is large and well laid out and it is very family and pet friendly. They have a small library of books in English and Spanish for children and the staff is super friendly. Coffee is great and it is a real gem, particularly for those with small children and our kids love all of the various treats!
This is my favorite coffee in the city. It’s got a nutty, well balanced taste. All of the baristas are super nice.

Great drip coffee!
I’ve walked past here for a year before popping in. It’s always busy with people working on their projects on tables inside and out. I had a chai and it was just fine. What stood out was the very pleasant service. It’s a very attractive coffee shop inside. Nice energy.
Great neighborhood coffee spot. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere make this one of my favorite places to get a latte in the city.
Their coffee slaps!
Always a chill vibe and smiling face behind the counter. The quintessential South Philly coffee shop.
Stopped in to get warm. The Matcha Latte was the best Ive ever had, and she swirled a heart shape into the foam... How, I dont know... very impressive! Staff was very friendly, helpful and courteous. Will definitely return next time in the neighborhood:)
This is my go to spot for iced and hot mocha! The staff are always pleasant and kind and is honestly my favorite spot to get any sort of beverage now. They even offer rewards if you visit Shot Tower enough such as a free drink every so often!
Wonderful little South Philly spot. I dont know what more one could ask for in an urban coffee shop. Great service great coffee. Seating is very well spaced, and the options of window seats is large, since its on a corner.
Very casual and welcome atmosphere. Great outdoor service in summer. Good coffee and pasteries. Dogs welcome at outdoor seating.
For the longest time, Elixr was the only cafe in my heart in Philly. Since Ive started going to Shot Tower, its hard for me to stay loyal to one cafe. I think this cafe is super well thought out from the ground up with attention to the smallest details. The inside is so well designed and the menu/selection seems so perfectly picked. I love the selection of drinks they have and the small food items they offer. Many places serve Counter Culture coffee, but I think they brew it better here than most of the others.
Best coffee shop in Philly. The espresso drinks are perfectly proportioned, the milk is never over-steamed, and the espresso is expertly and consistently pulled. Every time. The staff is courteous and engaging while also professional. They are expert baristas and all have a good and wide-ranging taste in music which plays in the shop.
Hipster coffee shop that makes an extremely good latte. Probably the best coffee Ive had in Philly. Big bright windows, lots of nice places to sit, a relaxing environment, and nice staff too.
Delicious soy cappuccino! It tastes as good as it smellsI I deduct a star because they charge extra for plant based milk. I try to find spots all around the city as I travel for my job. If I can find enough, I won’t have to go to Starbucks anymore!
This cozy corner coffee shop[1] is a classy chameleon, perfect for that Tinder date, perfect for meeting with friends, or even casually catching up on light reading. Its bright, has good service, and brews La Colombe if youre particular about your beans. Not thrilled with their five dollar credit card minimum, but there are enough edible goodies and coffee extras - yes, Ill have vanilla in my latte! - so that wont matter much.Stop in if youre in South Philly. You might see me hosting a coffee happy hour here.[1] Two of my favorite things in their name.
I dont think we fit in here. said my girl friend. Why?Youre wearing yoga pants and a podcast t-shirt. Im wearing Mom jeans and a t-shirt with neon printing on it.Go and clash with the decor and the too cool for school regulars. Their Macbooks wont mind the company.
Great coffee and the staff is always nice. I dont live in this neighborhood so I iont get by very often, but as I was passing by todayit was worth stopping for... So I think that says something right there. :-)
Excellent shop for coffee and several espresso drinks. wide variety of pastry products offered and several tea options as well. Very friendly and courteous staff. Conveniently located.
Really nice environment to chill and work in. Super high ceilings.Staff is very sweet.Croissants are duhlicious too.Havent tried the coffee yet but looks like Counter Culture is the current featuring.
Awesome coffee shop. Seating inside and out. Baristas are nice and helpful. They serve Counter Culture Coffee which is great. Parking on weekends is tight, but during the week is fine. It is located on a busy street corner.
Great coffee and service.. cute corner coffee shop. Coffee flavor is always constant. Service with a smile and a coffee card to earn a free cup..
10/10 coffee and the staff here is so dang nice it makes me uncomfortable
Excellent vintage atmosphere. My wife and I thoroughly enjoy this coffee shop. Its a great place to relax with a book or bring your laptop and get some work done.
Went down their first a podcast tapping during Pax Unplugged. They were closed for Norman business, but were still serving for the tapping the staff were super friendly, and mad one of the best chai lattes Ive ever had.The space was small, but has a great atmosphere. If youre in the area I would very much recommend stopping in.
Ive been a customer of Shot Tower (almost daily!) for the last two years. They have the best staff, and great coffee. 10/10!
Delicious coffee, friendly service, chill atmosphere. Cheers-y neighborhood feel.
Warm, friendly place with wifi. Great drinks!
Staff is very friendly and the coffee is great. I love to come here in the winter to read or study by the window!
Great little cafe on a quiet corner of the street. Fast wifi, friendly service, strong coffee. $5 minimum to use your credit card.
Beautiful space with good reading selection & coffee menu. People watching from the counter height window seats is a great way to pass some time.
Decent coffee. Great atmosphere. One of the better cafes in this neighborhood.
Spacious coffee place, with high ceiling. We were here briefly, where I had regular coffee and a pastry, on our way via walking to a place where were having dinner that night.. My friend had something different. I recall the service to be friendly.
Good cappuccinos, their almond croissants are delicious. Service with a smile
Great cafe with friendly staff and delicious coffee and pastries! Love the interior vibe and option of outdoor seating. New favorite coffee shop!!
Stopped by Shot Tower Coffee for a special event after hours, the staff were welcoming and served a killer Cortado. Good pastries in abundance. Check it out!
The absolute best coffee and café. Great little pastries and sandwiches, lots of cool brewed caffeinated drinks, and plenty of other sweet treats. Very friendly staff, sweet tunes, and free WiFi.
Had my first real latte in New York. Since then Ive been searching for a place in Philadelphia that would make a real latte. FINALLY!!!! A place that makes fine latte. Just as good if not better than New York!!!!
Great seating and coffee. Wifi is A+
The coffe in this place is not the best in taste compare with Colombe or OCF, staff is not friendly too, other than that if dont have choice to go is okay.
The coffee is a little pricy ($5-$6), but it is a good value if you intend to stay to read the paper or get some work done. The staff is very friendly, the area is kept clean, and there is a good vibe in the shop.
Always such a lovely experience. Warm, friendly smiling staff and their lattes are perfect!
I love this place. Not only is the coffe great but the atmosphere is equally perfect. Having an nice setting as you drink coffe and tea is important as the quality of the coffee. The music playing is great as well.
I got an iced red eye. My go to drink. I found the combined flavor of there regular coffee and their espresso to be shockingly distasteful. The iced coffee was thin and weak and the espresso was overly roasted and aggressively bitter.
Shot Tower is one of my two favorite coffee spots in Philly. Their cold-brew is the best in town and I love the environment.
Great atmosphere upon entry, met with great customer service. Coffee is exceptional and bagels, fresh.
Love this place, especially the courteous staff. Happy to have found a place selling Counter Culture beans!
Great lil spot
Cool and comfortable coffee shop with super friendly staff (coffee is good too)
Super nice staff, very cozy atmosphere and fantastic coffee!!!
Excellent coffee, service and atmosphere!
Love this coffee shop. Great seating, great lighting, and great fair trade coffee (counter culture).
Always happy to find dog friendly spots!
Mocha hot or cold, its the best
Cold brew changed my life and all my goals
Great local coffee shop with good coffee, espresso drinks and chill atmosphere
Great Coffee better than starbucks which is also one of my favs.
Good food and quaint vibe. Prices arent too bad for the city.
It is one the many new upscale coffee houses a social type not just a coffee house it is there because of the Gentrification going on in a large part of whole south part of Philadelphia which also extends about 2 miles North right to Temple Universitys campus. There is a market now because of the realastate has increased its value from 200% to in some cases 500% more expensive in the last 10 years. This good for some unfair to others on both sides. The ones who already owned the property could sell for much more then the purchased it for or way more if they inherited the property. The massive rebuilding by motivated developers, turning 2 floor old row homes into 4 story high end interior and appliances and fixtures. With roof decks, pilot houses.500 to 700 thousand dollar homes. That is the market people that mostly travel walking and live in homes for the wealthy. So 5 bucks for a cup of coffee and some fancy breadstick for 4 bucks with tip your tossing twenty to get a coffee. Sorry about the off base review just look at it like a quick insiders point if view of the direction of our great city.
Amazing staff, great coffee and food, and THE BEST MUSIC.
Cool spot. Super nice employees
Favorite coffee shop in my neighborhood
Really 3.5 stars. A clean place with pleasant staff and nice looking, but with inferior indoor seating (outside tables are fine, if you can get one). The indoor seating consists of one giant table with hard, small, fixed position stools. Not easy to have a private conversation there, for sure. Also, they seemed to have turned their back on their own city to some degree.Philly has such great roasters, such as Rival Brothers, Peddler, Greenstreets, Reanimator, La Columbe and many others. I fail to see the point (environmentally, taste-wise, or from the economic view of the city that we live in) of trucking in beans from roasters in distant cities that are no better. So guys, with respect, how about a little civic pride to support local artisans (at least a local, guest roaster on tap every day) like some coffee shops do?By the way, I have no relationship with any folks in your business, by the way. Im not even an artisan.
