At 2 oclock this afternoon, in this optical shop, the clerk repaired my glasses quickly, friendly and high-quality, and cleaned them cleanly, and paid no money.I would recommend it to other friends. This optical shop is friendly to customers and is a recommended optical shop in Philadelphia.

I had my first eye consultation with Dr Duong yesterday, he is amazing, kind and the best one in town. I felt comfortable and at ease in addressing all my questions.The shop has one of the best and beautiful glasses. I also want to give a shout out to his assistant /staff, he is helpful and friendly.

I was visiting Philly and went into Designer Eyes urgently during my trip, since one of the temples on my sunglasses had broken off from the hinge. Both gentlemen at the store were extremely courteous and repaired my sunglasses at no charge. They wouldnt accept anything for their trouble even upon offering. The repair job is perfect and I have no issues wearing my shades any more. Definitely recommend this business for any eyewear-related issues.

Dr. D is chill. He explained what I was doing to my eyes by wearing my contacts to bed in a way that made me want to listen. He even helped me pick out my frames and gave me a pair of contacts to make it until my glasses and contacts are ready.I enjoyed my eye exam and I will continue to go back for my eye care.

Had a great experience here. Walked into several optometrists yesterday and none of them could see me. Designer Eyes gave fast and friendly service and had a great selection of frames to choose from. The doctor also gave me contact lenses to try out before I order new ones.

My husband and I have dealt with them for about 7 years. I believe that they have really hip stuff (if you can afford hip) and also affordable glasses to go along with your plan, when you dont the extra to be fancy. I love the doctor. He is honest with me about my vision and aging and I look forward to each visit.

The best eye exam store ever. Dr. Dat was very helpful, he had me tried on several samples until I’m comfortable with it. And they fixed my original glasses from Walmart that kept dropping. Fitting for contact lenses is very affordable if you had a prescription for glasses here.

I am going to assume that people only come here for the convenience since its near the Regional Rail, El, or near their place of employment. The staff is horrible, unprofessional, & were picked to cater and relate to a particular customer base. The Dr. there is actually the only bright spot in this establishment. I wouldnt recommend this place to a dog let alone an actual paying human customer. Take your money elsewhere,there are better establishments in the CC area.

I have been going to Designer Eyes since 2015. When I came in to the office I was greeted as a friend. I laugh with the guys that work there and I end up staying there much longer then expected.... just to laugh. Steve is wonderful and the DR is very funny... He was awesome, he gave me free contacts to try. I would recommend anyone going to get their glasses there. I received my lenses in 1 day. I plan on being a client there as long as they will let me... lol. :)

Ive been waiting for my glasses before covid-19 and still no reply I wont ever go back if you guys even open back up also will be contacting my insurance to inform them of this so they can take the money they paid out back......the worst

I was a regular customer since 2005 when its in underground in Gallery mall. Now they are on the 2nd floor on 923 Arch St.In past years, I had 4 pairs glasses( including frames and lens) and eye exams in there. Everything was good util yesterday I picked up my new glasses, that they damaged my frame and refused to admit it and avoid their responsibility.This was what happened to me, this time I bought a frame from other store and dropped off my frame for the prescription lens on April, 23., and Steve Green( office manager) told that I could pick it up in second day. But when I come to pick up in third day that still not ready, and waiting until yesterday ( May,1). When I picked up my glasses yesterday, I saw the the top of frame was damaged( obviously it burned by some hot subject) . And I notice it to them, that Steve came out and said its nail polish on it and its already there ( he lied because I bought the frame just couple days ago and its kept in the case before I dropped off for prescription lens, and its Obviously its something burned my frame, not the nail polish see pics) . A young man worked in front, even said something worst do you have pictures to prove your frame is not damaged before you dropped off ( are you idiot?!? Im your regular customer for more than 10 years and I dont have time to play with you). None of them apologized, in their side that was my fault that I didnt take a pic of my brand new frame when I gave it to them.This was the way they treated loyal customers after they damaged the frame. Are you first day in the business!? When the customers are not satisfied your service or frame is damaged, all we want is solutions, not the excuses and avoid the responsibility because its happening in your office that you cant avoid it.They definitely lose my business, that maybe they dont care while they treated me . But Im gonna tell all my friends Not gonna this store. I hope everyone who read my review beware about this store and make a right decision.Thats funny and ridiculous, Now I definitely understand how you treat the customer selectively and differently. Shame on you. you you broke my frame and said you didnt have any responsibilities for it. If you told me in advance that you didnt have any responsibilities for breaking my frame when you put the lens on it, Ill take it and go somewhere else, but you didnt. And your manager Steve told me that it would be pick up in second day, but I picked up in 10 days later( now Im thinking because he broke my frame and tried to cover up ).Update 5/21/19Yes, you did call me discussed it because you saw me post reviews on Yelp and Google. Last week til yesterday, I called you couple times, first time on Friday that a girl told me that you were not in office and call back Monday, and yesterday( Monday) I called you before 1pm, Steve Green told me you would come back office after 1pm, then I called three times around 3pm, someone picked up the and hanged up the phone immediately three times( I knew its Steve did it in purpose because He answered my phone earlier and knew my phone number) . Finally Steve answered my phone when I hidden my phone number, after he realized its me that told me called back in 25 mins because Dr. Duong was doing eye exam, I left my number and wanted he could call me back, but Steve provoked told me hopefully Dr. Duong call you back. Until today (Tuesday) no one give me a call, now I know he never really want to help me, Wow and this is the attitude I deserve from you.If your guys want to go this office to get lens with your frame or something that you must take a pic to prove your stuff is fine( thats Bryan advised me), otherwise good luck to you. Shame on you Designer Eyes and Steve Green !!!!

Dr. Dat was extremely friendly. He was very helpful in making sure my insurance would cover my new contacts as well as the exam. I have had trouble in the past with glasses and contacts prescribed by other offices that did not take the time to see me and just churn out 100 patients a day. With Dr. Dat, I did not feel rushed. He really took the time to make sure my prescription was right for me.

Just happened to walk on Arch street near Friendship Arch (Chinatown gate), i stumbled on this Eyeglasses place. This office has so many Designer Eyeglasses. Dr. Dat B. Duong is one of the best philadelphia optometrist from my experience. Other optometrists didnt give me correct Rx. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for designer eyewear and best eye doctor!

I received excellent service today, and I appreciated that Dr. Duong wanted to make sure I was comfortable with my new contact prescription! I had to change my prescription from Acuvue Advance since it is now discontinued, and he made sure that I was comfortable with my new contact brand, 1-Day Acuvue Moist. I also tried Acuvue Oasys, and they were not comfortable for me for some reason, even though I know it is a popular brand. Convenient location, affordable prices (the most affordable out of the offices I tried calling in my area!), and quick service. Would definitely recommend!
