The staff here incredible. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The store is laid out nicely and everything is easily accessible. I took my kids there today and my daughter has already finished her fringe purse and is looking forward to a new project.

Last year I wanted to make something special for my boyfriend for our anniversary. I decided on a leather belt. I went to a local leather shop and they basically laughed in my face. So I did some research and came across Tandy Leather. I ordered everything that I needed to make this belt from them. With a little bit of my own research and a lot of their knowledge, I was able to make the perfect leather belt! And trust me, I am not good with things like this! I cannot thank Tandy enough! Here is a picture in the beginning stage and some end results!

So Ive been going to this Tandy on and off for the last three years. Ive always had good customer service and helpful advice and Ive spent thousands of dollars on tools and supplies for holster making over that time. But not today. There where three people workin there and two of them were new to me personally. Which would have been fine if they had been even a little attentive. However the only person to acknowledge my existence seemed more interested in going back and talking with her coworkers than helping me. On the other had I have family in Harrisburg and visit that location on occasion too and it they are far more attentive. Ill give them another shot or so here in Philly. But if they dont at least pretend to want my business Ill take it elsewhere. Ill still get leather at Tandy Leather Harrisburg. But I might be looking to Weaver and knife kits for my tools from now on.

Had a few issues with an order, called into the store and the manager was pretty rude. So I had to deal with corporate, come to find out. It was the stores fault and not mine like what was implied.
