Been coming here since childhood! When I come to town in the summer I always make my way and I’m not disappointed! They are always polite and courteous. I love that they have kids working in there....And the beef pepperoni option is a plus!!!

Summer staple. Theres nothing like having Tranzillis water ice and an authentic Philly pretzel toasted with sliced of cheese. Im a lifelong fan. And in recent years theyve begun taking credit/debit cards for payment. Pro tip: whichever size water ice you choose ask for it in a cup the next size up. That way you get your full serving portion and less mess, especially when driving.

Ill keep this short and simple. The water ice is the best in town, but the service isnt so great. I guess it just depends on whose working that day.

Real Philly water ice and the best soft pretzels! The cheese pretzel is toasted with a slice of American cheese on top. The water ice is scooped and not slushy. Sweet enough and not syrupy like some other water ice spots. Definitely one of Phillys gems!

During a pandemic the fact I see some of you bashing the workers at this establishment is astonishing. I apologized yesterday for some of the ways I saw customers attitudes towards workers. Coming up to the window with no mask on and have the nerve to bash a worker about the wait. I’ve been coming to Tranzillis for years! And never once had a bad experience. The workers are quick and swift with orders. The young man told me it’s the quart orders that take long. Wait your turn if it’s 10 people in line what do you expect for everyone to be done quick and easy. I would hate to put up with some of the attitudes I see people display to these young people. Y’all so quick to bash them! Try being in there position for once.

The customer service was slow due to staff conversation as it there was no one was standing in line for long periods of time. When I asked for a carrier tray the young lady working the pretzels & taking the money asked me if I was walking or driving to determine if I really needed it. No quarts were available...maybe they were out of quart cups?? Dont get me wrong, I only do Tranzillis water ice and nobody else but there service needs to be tightened up!! The youngsters need to pick up their game!! I wont have water ice if this level of service continues.

They are very slow. Water ice is still good but because the service is so slow, I will not go back. Long line, one window open. One employee came, thought she was coming to work, she came and got s slice of pizza and a water ice and walked right by the customers in line while eating her water ice.

This is the BEST Real Italian Water Ice in the city hands down. The price is right, the flavor is always perfect. Its like eating ice cream but its water ice.

Used to go as a kid and loved their water ice. 25 years later and the quality and service is great. The price and the sizes are pretty reasonable too

The older and get, the less I like really sweet foods. But I was really craving something cold and refreshing. Tranzillis was right on time. They have the creamiest water ice in town. With just enough sweetness to satisfy.

OMG! You have not had a pretzel until youve had a pepperoni pretzel from here! So fabulous and bursting with flavor. This was topped with mozzarella cheese then pepperoni and baked to perfection, yum! The water ice was extremely pleasing to taste, sweet, cold and so delicious!

My family and I have been coming here for years because this was our favorite place to get water ice. Its been a nice while since my last visit until recently. The water ice that I had (green apple) for some reason doesnt taste the same and the cheese pretzel wasnt as good as it used to be. The pretzel is always toasted but this time around it was just hard. Disappointing.

Only had one issue with this place where the cashier thought it was necessary to push me to the side to serve a local news personality as if hes a king ukee Washington. Slow & over priced. Husband & I went for a pretzel & 2 water ice. I just couldnt see paying $2 for that small cup when we can go to the neighborhood Poppi store & get a large for the same price. Their small is even bigger than Tranzilli & only cost $1. However, my husband got is pretzel & enjoyed it and we went to the Poppi store & got 2 large water ice for $4

As a Philadelphia native I must say Tranzilli’s has THE best water ice in the city. Hands down! 🙌🏽 This is not up for debate. Literally the best water ice. I’ve traveled a lot of places and the quality is unparalleled. I hear about the other places Philadelphians rave about and I’m honestly not impressed! Tranzilli’s is it. Tranzilli’s has been around forever and I love their pretzels and water ice but the kids they are hiring today are so rude and have a horrible demeanor about them. Whoever is hiring them needs to let them know they are representing the company and shouldn’t be in customer service if they’re going to have a bad attitude
