I ordered the part and payed extra for expedited shipping and a 6-month warranty. I am extremely happy with the part.I called to confirm the part was shipped a day after placing the order and spoke directly with a gentleman who was friendly and courteous. It came quickly and neatly wrapped in bubble wrap, placed in a small size-appropriate box, placed in a USPS shipping envelop. After a multi-city power outage our refrigerator wouldnt start after the power came back on. John helped us diagnose the problem and recommended the replacement control board. I was lucky enough to be close to their store. So I picked up the board. They did not have the board I needed but gave me another one. Same part number different code. I was assured it would work. It work like a charm. No issues. I recently ordered a control board for my stove from Apex. After installing it, it was working intermittently. I called the customer service number and talked to Dave. He said it sounded like a faulty control board and said he would send a different one to me right away. I received it in a few days and installed it and now the stove is working perfectly! My washing machine failed after a broken inlet valve fried the system board. I took a chance on a used board from Apex and was glad I did. Apex also included a mode shift actuator in my shipment with a note explaining that this part usually needs to be replaced when the system board is replaced. I didnt even order this yet it was included at no charge. Ive rarely experienced customer support this good. Amazing. Last week our Maytag Washer stopped and the front load door would not open. Checked locally [Wilmington, NC] and was told by people the door lock had to be replaced and this is common problem [Not So I Found Out]. I contacted Maytag and ordered the new lock part [$83.00] and installed it and still had the same problem. So I was considering the local repair service who quoted $85.00 to come to the house and diagnose the problem and make a quote and recommendations at that time. More thinking passed and more online research and talk to other suppliers with no one really interested in helping unless payment was involved.I then ran across Apex on line and called them direct. Talked to Dave at the start and he said it was more than likely the motor control board from his dealing with these units in the past and said for me to take the board out, remove it from the case and look at the existing board for burn marks on the back side. Dave was right on the mark [See Pics] and the most helpful person in all the people I talked to and mind you I still have not purchased anything yet from him. I called back and talked to John and ordered the board on Friday [8-3-2018] received it [8-6-2018] for a total cost of $65.00. When it arrived I installed it and the washer came to life and works just as good as always. I will not hesitate to call them again for appliance control boards and trust there professionalism and helping the customer. Apex UACB truly deserves a 5 star rating. I called John when our 2012 GE side by side ref broke down immediately after power came back up from a community outage. He was a good listener and knowledgeable about what control boards part number is exactly appropriate to our GE ref model. I ordered the control board from the Apex website around 1 pm on a Saturday and received it after 2 days which was Monday. I replaced the old and damaged control board with the one I had from Apex and the front panel for the water dispenser immediately lit up then the compressor started running sometime between 15 to 20 minutes. I was able to save a lot with this DIY ref repair and owe it to Apex. Kudos and Hats off to John, his brother and Apex!

We have a 15 year old Wolf 30 inch convection oven that hasnt functioned normally for at least 5 years. Before replacing the unit (not Wolf again) we tried a control board replacement from Apex. I had a 15 year old (2005) top-of-the-Line GE refrigerator in perfect condition, that suddenly was totally dead one morning. After researching online, it appeared to need a new Main Control Board. I calle three service companies who said it would be $100 for a service call, plus $450 for a new board, plus $100 installation labor. It would not have been worth $650 to fix, and would have been $2000 for a new refrigerator. however, when looking online, I found Apex Used Appliance Control boards.I called, talked to John (who confirmed it sounded like a control board issue), and orders the part for under a hundred dollars, including a 12 month warranty.I installed the board, and heard a clicking sound. THE SHORT: Extremely pleased with the service from Apex-Used-Appliance-Control Boards! Spoke with Dave, who diagnosed the issue with my stove control board with just a few phone pics. Turnaround was 3 days and the price for repair could not be beaten. Not only will I use them in the future if the need arises, but will be pointing people to them to do the same!THE LONG: My 16 year old Frigidaire stove stopped working (my daughter was using and heard a pop. Checked the breaker and it was tripped, reset it and the stove panel showed an F1 code (to the internet...) - After getting an idea of what might be wrong, I pulled to stove and removed the control board (it was fried - 10 min job, anyone can do it, just make sure to turn your breaker off!) The board had a label with the part model # (to the internet...) - To my surprise there were several companies offering new, used and refurbished boards. Problem is they were expensive (a few half the cost of a new stove) The other issue after much calling around both locally and some online companies, no one actually had the part! the new part I was told was on national back-order (go figure) - Well choices were online new part $279+ (my particular model) or used stove at $499 or new stove around $650-700. Then I called Apex.. I wasnt too keen on shipping my board out to have repaired (I really just wanted a replacement), but again after speaking with Dave and sending some pics of the damage to the board, I had nothing to lose in going this route. I sent the board out, was not asked for any payment until after it was fixed and ready to be shipped back to me. A few days later and I am cooking with... electric :) - Bottom line, we need more companies that do the work that Apex does - Dont like the throw it away for new mentality, when simple and cost effective fixes can be made. We need more peeps to be aware that these fixes can be made and there are companies willing to do just that. Apex is outstanding. I ordered the spare part on Friday, then on Wednesday is came. The MC looked clean and I would almost say brand new for a used part. I chose this route since a new part is around $300. The MCU from Apex was about $45 with free shipping.....do I need to say more? Ebay also offered some 1 year warranty for $4, which matches or exceeds a new part purchase. As you can see it was a no brainer to go this route. I will buy from them again if I need to.

EXCEPTIONAL!!! Our washer was not draining and spinning so we went on Angies List and had someone with great reviews come over to check it out. Spent $106 just to have him tell us we need a new control board. He called the next day with a price of $230 plus wanted an additional $50 to come out and install it. This is after paying him $106 for being here less than 10 minutes.We did our own research and found a used control board from Apex for $45 and ordered it. We replaced the control board ourselves and it was still not draining and spinning so it turns out it was never the control board. We noticed an extra part had come with our order from Apex along with a typed out note. The note stated We have included a free mode shift actuator with your purchase of the control board and it is recommended both be replaced at the same time. The note even listed a you tube video link on how to install the shift actuator! It was super easy and our washer is now working perfectly.THANK YOU APEX!!! You guys ROCK and went above and beyond. We will not even bother to return the control board even though that ended up not being the issue, we are just thankful for the extra part that you included when you did not have to. What company these days does that? Apex apparently does. Simply amazing.

Our GE refrigerator quit working the day before new years. I have 40 years of electronic experience so I grabbed my multi-meter and with the help of a YouTube video showing me the required voltages ( I didnt have the manual) I concluded that the mother board was shot. Even though Ive not actually received this part I ordered, the fact that they even have the part I need for a nineteen year old appliance is amazing.It sure beats having to buy a new range. I highly recommend using Apex.Our GE Monogram stopped working (the refrigerator and freezer temperature were 67F) and an online appliance parts company diagnosed the issue through a chat session as a faulty motherboard and a new one would take two weeks to arrive.I searched online to see who else had the part in stock and could get it to us sooner. I came across Apex and spoke with John who told told me how to perform a simple diagnostic to determine if it is actually the motherboard or not. I followed his directions, jumped the Line (J11) to the Comp (J8) to bypass the motherboard and force start the compressor. As this did not turn on the compressor we determined that the motherboard was not faulty.John then directed me to check out the inverters on the website where there are directions to troubleshoot the inverter. Based on the video there I determined that the inverter was bad. I ordered an inverter (for $100) that looked like the one I needed and two days later it came in the mail- packaged very securely for a delicate part.Unfortunately I had ordered a very similar but incorrect part and the cables didnt fit together. I searched online and all the places that had the correct part in stock sold it for between $500 and $600. I called back, spoke to Dave, told my issue and ask him how to return the item.Dave let me in on a secret. GE uses proprietary parts which is why the wires wont fit but the chip on the inside is the same. He advised me to open the inverter box and swap the wires from my broken inverter box with the wires in the replacement. Five minutes later I had the new part installed with the compressor running.It took some time for the refrigerator to get back to itself but when I woke up the next morning to the freezer was at -1F and the refrigerator was at 33F.Thanks so much

I returned 1 of the parts because it was not needed. My account was refunded the same day no problems. I spoke to John before returning the first part (a timer for a washer which someone else had suggested) about what was happening with my washer and he was very helpful. I recently ordered a timer for my dryer which is over 20 years old. Apex was one of the very few places that actually carried a refurbished part (as it gets harder to find the older replacement parts). Found a control board for our 15 year old GE electric range which some buttons not working. Exact replacement, installed in less than 15 min. All functions working as new, looks new too.

When one of the arms on the hinge of my front loading washer snapped mysteriously (Neither the wife nor the kids are admitting it was them), I tracked down the part at Apex. Ordered but had some trouble with the shopping cart as it didnt capture the correct shipping address. A quick call the next morning and the part went out an hour later. Arrived in two days with priority post and its installed and we are back in action.Great fast friendly service and a part in great condition at an excellent price. New would have cost me 4x as much and been a month + to ship as a special order.Apex saved me.

Great experience with Apex!! Needed an oven control board for a GE oven. New was $80....Apex had one used for $30 with priority shipping included!!!!! Replaced the plastic overlay from existing oven board and had the oven back up and running in 15 minutes!!! Saved $50 and it works great!!! Excellent value buying from Apex!!

Washer quit and I tried everything on youtube. These guys are amazing. Left a message and got a call back quickly. Told him everything I tried and immediately new the circuit board on the motor was bad. Just stopped in to their local shop in Phoenix and picked up another one for a fourth of what a new one costs

We have a 15 year old GE Spectra kitchen stove in an almond color. My grandson accidentally hit the glass oven door with a metal object and it completely shattered. Apex Used Appliances, great service and prices. I needed to fix my daughters washing machine quickly, we thought the problem was the tumbler motor because it was not turning or spinning. After checking around, found that they had one at a very good price. I brought the motor in just to be sure, they checked it and said it was good, and helped me trouble shoot the real problem to a clogged drain motor. This saved me time and money, kudo’s to both John and Dave who went above and beyond to help me. Definitely will use go to them first for all of my appliance issues.

I got my freezer shelves in just a few days. They were like new, and fit perfectly! I had the wrong part number when I called, but they looked it up, got the right one and sent it out right away. Now I have extra shelves in my freezer and can store more food, which equals less wasted space and a more efficient freezer! This was a great savings on the parts, bulk foods, and my electric bill! These guys are great. I called to find the part, sent my son to get it. when I tried to install it i had the wrong part. I say it was my fault, they said it was their fault and apologized. They had the correct part waiting for me when I got there, perfect fit and all is good again. Who knew that Maytag washers built in 1981 can have a one or a two speed motor? we all do now. Im so happy today my Kenmore dryer main board came..and as a mother of two kids and a hard working husband clean fresh clothes are essential. Having to haul laundry to friends houses with a stroller and garbage bags isnt fun especially when were already busy enough in a day..so happy to have a working dryer again... Uve made my life so much easier one load of laundry at a time. This is the best site on the internet for parts and help for the do it yourself person. I had searched eBay for the cheapest circuit for my washer after a power outage blew it out. Then I tired a Google search and found this site. They had the cheapest price for the part and were very helpful on the phone. They actually told me to try a much cheaper part first (a noise filter) and if that didnt work then try the circuit board. Got the first part in two days, AZ to PA, it helped but I still needed to get the board in the end and it came in two days also. Great service, Great prices, Thank you very much. I am telling everyone I know about this site. For a total cost of $78 they saved my 10 year old front load washer from the scrap yard!
