This place is a local hidden gem. The location is terrific and the patio has a fun, relaxed vibe. The bagels are great, but make sure to try the other options. The Mediterranean omelette with hash browns is a personal favorite. The prices are extremely reasonable. What a great place to meet and visit with friends over breakfast or lunch.

Always good food whenever we go! Got the southwest burrito and the lox breakfast bagel. The bagels are tasty and the smears are great and theres good variety in both! Would definitely recommend for a morning pick up

I had the breakfast grill cheese with a pb power shake with whey. The food was good the environment was off they have a QR code and several different scattered paper menus across the counter. Its seat yourself after you order the trash can doesnt have an area to leave your plate but my table wasnt cleaned so I assume I was suppose to clear my own plate. I was pretty confused with everything going on but that didnt stop me from enjoying thier food it is definitely worth the stop.

Weve been to The Nosh several times and have always found employees very nice and the bagel sandwiches very good. Today we added a pancake and it was terrific! Do stop in if your in the area. Outdoor seating is nice and somewhat secluded from parking lot which is nice.

The Nosh is one of my favorite places to get breakfast/brunch at. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. They have a wide variety of options and I have never been disappointed with what I have ordered. The service is relatively quick and the quality is amazing. When my parents come to town to visit me they insist on eating here multiple times.

Bagel needed slightly more ingredients, but the taste was good. The wrap was very good. The combination works. The online ordering needs work. Service was very nice.

My wife and I found this place about a week ago. Weve been back three times since then. We had the bagels, which are the best in the valley, the first time, then we had breakfast which was awesome and today we had bagel sandwiches. I had the turkey with the hot habanero cream cheese on my sandwich and it was the most interesting combination of flavors Ive had in a long time. I would consider that sandwich one of my top 10 sandwiches of all time. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. All the ingredients are fresh and the prices are reasonable.

We are from Texas, there was a system issue with our online order leading to some delay. However, the manager I am not sure her name, is so sweet and took care of our order promptly when I called to check on it. She apologized profusely and provided wonderful customer service.We got a breakfast sandwich, a lox, and half dozen bagels with strawberry and honey walnut cream cheese. Everything was so incredibly delicious. When we stop through Phoenix again we will definitely be repeat customers. Great work guys! Hope your business continues to flourish.

We chose The Nosh based on other reviews, we have lived in the neighborhood for years and have never ate here.I walked in an immediately saw the breakfast enchilada special and decided to order it, They had me at green Chile and hash brows.My husband ordered 2 grand pancakes which were fluffy and soft, sweet and filled the entire plate.The service is great and tables were all clean and ready for guests.For our first time being here we will definitely return.We ordered 3 breakfast and 2 drinks for $38

I just moved to the area and decided to give this spot a try for the first time! I came here this morning and ordered a blueberry bagel with cream cheese as well as a south mountain burrito. The burrito was massive and absolutely AMAZING! The bagel was outstanding and the strawberry cream cheese was delicious. Service was amazing, I will for sure be back!

I came around 8:30am on a Sunday morning, which appeared to be just before the morning rush. The staff was friendly, and I didn’t feel rushed to decide on what to order. They took their time to hear me out and gave me relevant recommendations, which was massively appreciated.Ended up going with the over easy eggs, hash browns, and a fluffy biscuit with house made sausage gravy. The biscuit was indeed fluffy, and toasted, too, and was extremely filling. I left feeling satisfied, having definitely gotten my money’s worth.And finally, coffee is bottomless. It’s a hot commodity, and they ran out of two of the three brews at one point, which was a bummer. But for the price, they serve a decent cup. Minus one star for the overarching burnt flavor and for running out of coffee.

The bagels are good but the service is truly awful. We called in an order of two dozen bagels on Saturday for a Sunday pickup to take to a brunch. We called it in the day before for a reason! We needed them by 11am. Well, we didnt get them until 11:40am and when I asked them if calling it in even mattered to them, I got a blank stare and a vacant apology. Theres also rumors that the owner keeps the tips, so maybe thats why the employees dont seem to care about customer service.Response: sounds like a lot of excuses and poor management if youre not giving your employees a break after 9 days. Thats on the owner/manager, not on me as a customer. I did ask them to make it right and I was met with a hollow response, as mentioned above. Its not my fault as the customer that you screwed up my order, but please, call me more names!

I ordered coffee and it was empty so I ha to get decaf and I ordered the chicken tuna salad platter that said it came with choice of chicken salad or tuna salad on the side and they just put cut up chicken sprinked and when I asked why I didnt get the chicken salad they told me that was there chicken salad.. I guess the homemade chicken salad sandwich is just cut up cold chicken on bread????? If I ordered tuna salad I guess they would just sprinkle cold tuna. Lol. The service was horrible.

This is in a convenient location, is set up nicely and has adequate seating, as well as patio seating. The food was above average, however the service could be better. This was my first visit, and there were several young girls working who seemed like they would rather not be. A few of them seemed confused about who had ordered what throughout the restaurant. My selection said on their board that toast was included, but I didn’t receive it. When I inquired, the girl said that they could add it as a side item. I mentioned it was on the board as being included, and she said “ok, we can do that for you.” 🤔 We will try it again in the future, as I like to support local businesses.

The bagels here are some of the best in the valley. Stopped in here after a trail run at South Mountain and so glad we did! The bagel and coffee was just what we all needed to refuel. I asked for a side of avocado to top my bagel, yum! The sandwiches and wraps looked tasty so, Im going to need to stop back in for lunch someday. Interior was very clean, staff was friendly, and bathrooms were clean. It was hard to turn on the cold water. Great local spot for breakfast or lunch.

Love Nosh Cafe! Been going here for years! Every time we have family visiting from out of town, we go here, and everyone is always pleased! Bagels are always really good! Used delivery option this morning thru their website, and it worked perfectly! They will deliver up to 3 miles from their business and my order showed up quickly, was delicious, and still warm!! We had a lot of notes in the order and everything arrived exactly as we wanted!! Give them a try if you haven’t already!!!

You ever order a BLT and get a bagel with egg bacon and cream cheese instead? I just asked for the cream cheese to be veggie that was the only change to the item listed. I’m so disgusted and have never had such a peculiar combo. There should be no confusion over a simple menu item. 😓😓😓 I usually come here twice a week but I probably will check out some other local spots after this disaster.. the combo made me physically ill. 🤮

Im from New England and, since moving to AZ, have had trouble finding a decent bagel shop. Their bagels are fresh, delicious, and affordable. Hands down, my favorite bagel joint in the Valley!

I am a regular customer of this place and started going there because they had good service. Now the service has become bad and on top of that I get charged different prices every time I go there for the same bagel sandwich I order which is ridiculous. When I asked the manager about this, she said they are being told this by the owner. If the owner really cared about the customer, they would reach out and fix this.

I came in today to place my usual order for a Lox and Bagel with no Capers and the girl with the Dark, Curly, hair was just slouched on the counter on her phone busy texting. If this was the first instance I probably wouldn’t have noticed but here I am writing this review because I’ve had the same problem with Specifically Her on Several different occasions. I have been in the restaurant industry for years and this on top of her condescending tone is just unacceptable. She seemed to be more interested in whatever or whoever she was talking to on her phone than taking my order. Once she finished messing around on her phone she decided to take my order. I’m giving this restaurant 3 stars because my food was still delicious like usual and the other girls there today were Friendly and Attentive. It would have been 5 if I hadn’t been ignored by the dark curly haired girl so many times while she sat on her phone. I don’t like writing reviews like this on restaurants I love like The Nosh Cafe but changes Need to be made. I hope the owners take a look at this response from a loyal customer and fix this issue. I expect consistent and quality customer service from every Employee. Come on Nosh

The staff here are always so sweet and have great recommendations. It can get pretty busy with long lines almost out the door some days, but they have never gotten my order wrong and the food here is delicious! I highly recommend, way better than Panera.

I hate the coffee here. It tasted like hazelnut flavored water. So Im going to Starbucks beforehand every time. But, there was one redeeming quality about Nosh:Holy hot diggity dang, their biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns and fried eggs are DELICIOUS. Words cant describe. Texture-wise, everything was like eating the stuff from a cooking show. This place is to dream of for breakfast, and if Im ever back in Ahwatukee around morning time, I plan to stop in.Step your coffee game up BIG TIME, Nosh. It needs to be deep, dark, even, and still smooth. Order a dark roast at Starbucks at 7 AM and do the taste test. Youll see. Flavor variety is great, but its the brew thats the problem. Way too weak.

First time I ever got bagels there, I intended on going home, toasting bagel and adding their Honey Almond cream cheese. En Route, I tore off a piece of Cheese Bagel... then Another piece... Before I knew it, Id eaten the Whole Bagel (and I Never eat un-toasted bread)..!!THATS HOW GOOD IT WAS..!!Good Thing I got 1/2 dozen...It was even Better with the Honey Almond cream cheese ❣😍

The Nosh has become a regular breakfast spot in our household! Food is always super delicious, especially the South Mountain Burro, and the coffee is great. Sometimes the service isnt as friendly which accounts for the four stars.

Hands down the best breakfast spot around, and the service is outstanding. I recommend the Bagel Breakfast Sandwich or the Not So Common.Enjoy!

Weve been going here for a good 10 years, and its still just as consistently good as ever. Really, really good bagels. Cream cheese selection is unique and every one is delicious. Coffee is never weak. And the service is always friendly. The owner is always there too and he obviously takes a lot of pride in his place.

I ate there four times because it is convenient and touts healthy food. The food is inedible and they screwed up my special order. But if you like kind of food maybe your like it? I will never go back. Yucky.

Bagels are ok, cream cheese varieties are tasty. Stopped going here a couple of years ago, today we decided to give it a try again and order delivery. They not only got a part of my order wrong, but they missed an item and my husband had to go to the store to pick it up-he said the employees were rude when he got there. Probably the last time we give this place our business.

I havent been here in awhile and had never sat down to eat. Kids both loved their french toast. I had an egg, bacon & cheese bagel. Bacon was cooked perfectly! Not chewy and easy to bite on the sandwich.

This place is fantastic. Its definitely becoming one of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots. The staff is SO nice. Not only that but the food is to die for, especially the bagel spreads. I tried to get my room mate to go with me and after she tasted the garlic dill spread, she wished she had gone. 10/10 would totally make it a usual spot.

Definitely a must- see in the foothills of South Mountain.

This is hands down the BEST Breakfast you will find in Phoenix! The Eggs, The Bacon, The Toast, and MOST IMPORTANTLY The Hash Browns are cooked to PERFECTION!!! Nothing too oily so it’s a wonderful light dish. Now if your looking to get something on the heavier end, their pancakes are Beyond Delicious! This Cafe’ deserves 10 STARS!!!

The Nosh is a great little place in Ahwatukee! I stop in on my way to work every Friday for a delicious bagel breakfast! The staff is always kind and quick with whipping up orders and they have a great selection of bagels and other breakfast foods alike. I definitely recommend to anyone that loves great food with a non chain restaurant vibe!

Nosh meaning food which one can choose from the available options for breakfast or lunch including varieties of bagels for sandwiches, green salads, potato salad or a vegetable dish. They also have soft drinks and coffee. My option was a bagel sandwich called club classic which was tasty but one has to visit here several times to learn about more creative choices. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating with good views. Service was efficient and kind.

Bad service, slow. False advertising of vegan options. They offer a Tofu Scramble that they never have available. Also too many tables too close together. Not coming back 👎

We really enjoy the Nosh. The only complaint I have is if you arrive after 1:30 they stress that they close at 2:00 and they make you feel that you better eat quick and leave. This has happened to us on multiple occasions. Everything else about the place is great.

She can manage the place like no other.Today there were 4 people TRYING to replace her and not one of them had a clue as to what they should be doing, including trying to make change.There needs to be changes made immediately or I fear there will be no more Nosh.

My family and I have been loyal to the Nosh for years now and before have always felt we’ve had a 5 star experience. We have always loved this place and the food. Today I think we all left a little disappointed though. We waited almost an hour for bagels and oatmeal. The thing that bothered me the most though is how orders were coming out. We saw a family of two adults and two children who had been there twice as long as us. We are a family of two adults and one child. Their number was about 20 ahead of ours. The staff kept bringing out food to singles and couples (who had ordered the same items we had and arrived way after), but we continued to wait and the other family continued to wait. I understand trying to bring a group’s meal out all at once so you can all eat while it’s warm, but all you’re doing is delaying the whole meal all together by choosing to put that time into making singles and couples meals instead of just focusing on the finishing the groups order that came in and ordered the same thing way ahead. Just kind of dumb and frustrating for the people off who have been waiting an hour for the same food.

First time there and it was a great experience. The staff greeted me and made conversation while I waited on my order. It didnt take too long for it to be ready. After I tried it, I was pleasantly pleased. I will be visiting again.

The food is good/great (bagels, cream cheese, pancakes, omelettes, sandwiches) but one time they couldnt find me and forgot me for 45 min and once they mixed up my order. Both times they were great at making restitution. Ive been there ~10 times. For some reason the place makes me feel happy.

First time here. Food came out almost as fast as my latte! Got the sausage mushroom cheddar omelette and it was perfect and the hash browns were cooked decently. Nothing worse than starchy soft hash browns am I right? At least that part was still buttery and not bland. Only found one plug but it was open so I was able to get some work done and the music was chill, the usual Coldplay-style vibes. I will be back Im sure.

Ordered a couple breakfast bagels but when i got home only one was in the bag. I texted the company and even though they were closing up they remedied the situation and were very kind in the process. Says a lot about them. Very kind owner. The breakfast bagel ( poppy seed, egg, cheddar cheese and bacon) was delicious... give them a try.

I gave them a bad review because their menu says oatmeal with your choice of milk. I asked for Almond milk because my daughter and i cant drink regular milk. They bring us the oatmeal and tell us they are out of Almond milk. They well dose it have to be almond milk? i say yes. They run to frys and return with the almond milk. By then the oatmeal was cold and it got even colder when we poured the milk. I was not impressed, the right thing to do was keep our oatmeal warm until the milk arrived.

This is my second time coming here and being completely satisfied. We came in around 10am when it was slightly busy. Despite this, service, food, and coffee was spot on. I ordered the 2 x4 (2 eggs, your choice of meat, bread, and hashbrowns) and my husband ordered the hog wild on pumpernickel with the cartel coffee. It was delicious and service was fast. There is plenty of seating inside and outside so there were no concerns for seating.I would definitely come again!

This place is awesome. I come here every Saturday. They dont only have bagels and cream cheese but they have an entire assortment of hot breakfast. Bacon and eggs or even pancakes. Thats a breakfast burritos. I also have lunch specials as well. The Kona macadamia nut coffee is amazing.

The manager allowed the front of the house to be down to a dozen bagels and spent the half hour it took to get my French toast breakfast demanding his employees do things while he “prepped” bacon. This place use to be great, but with the manager running this type of shop, I will not be coming back.The staff was fantastic otherwise, they didn’t even try and cover for the manager’s ineptitude.

I recently moved to Ahwatukee from Denver, brought my family to brunch and we had a good experience, well above average, but not sold completely. They sold out of several items we desired, though an inconvenience it proved their popularity and volume of business as the place was packed - I had to give them another chance. A good friend of mine, Oliver Pierce, came in town from Dallas and treated my wife and I to breakfast (take out order). We were shorted a couple items and hadnt realized until we arrived home. Upon calling back, management assured us wed be taken care of upon our next visit. True to form, we returned two days later for lunch and were blown away with the quality service, tasty food, and comped meal. My opinion, staff at The Nosh went above and beyond to make right and won us over. Thank you, great food, wonderful service, well be back often!!

Ive only been in the area a couple of months and have been trying a new breakfast place every Sunday. The Nosh Cafe is easily #1 in my book because they have the best service (fast, kind, efficient), the best coffee (delicious with all the extras), and awesome food (I had the sausage mushroom cheddar omelette and it was just great. I will definitely go back and will recommend this place to others.

I had the veggie omelette with hash browns and it was delicious. I tried some pancakes as well and they are thick and very fluffy. They should only serve one pancake when it is a side there is no reason for two. They had 3 caffeinated coffees to choose from and they covered most flavor profiles.
