This is my favorite craft store as well as my favorite local location as well. The craft possibilities are endless, sewing and fabrics galore, jewelry making, resin crafts, card making, and so much more!! The staff is always super nice and helpful, they always know just what Im looking for. Their restrooms are also very clean any time Ive used it. They have a whole sewing machine area with extremely knowledgeable and passionate staff to help! I love going to Joanns!My favorite part of the entire experience is the coupons!! I spent 3 minutes downloading an app which also works as my membership. Theres always saving!! If you go, be sure to use this app, you will NOT regret the time spent.

Joann fabrics has a large selection of fabrics. I really wish the company would somehow put all their fabrics on line. I understand that may be a challenge but it would make online shopping online much easier to do. However, it is always nice to peruse everything at the same time. There is lot of other crafts available to check out as well.

Im in awe over what happened to my grandson and I at this Joanns store, my grandson is 6 and first time at Joanns. We were there a few hours just looking for bargains and not wanting to miss all the beading and toys in the clearance, so my grandson picked out a Lego toy price on the box was 6.99 I said sure to him having it. We finally head up front to pay for our purchases the line was long did have a wait. As the cashier rang up the items the Legos were 39.99 I was a bit shocked at the price range up I had to put that back. My grandson didnt have a fit or get mad just a pout then we were walking to our car, some lady came running out the store ask me if I could come back and wait by the door, I asked her why she politely said I want to do something for you. Then a few min later this lady comes out with her daughter an the Lego toy we had to put back and gave this Legos to my grandson, I was so overwhelmed with the ladys kind gesture to purchase the Legos for my grandson we both were speechless. I just want to say what a beautiful, awesome lady an young daughter. This kindness of her wanting to be kind and caring for us was awesome. Thank you lady and her daughter. People out in this world still have big 💕s...

Wow this place is HUGE! If you can’t find it here, it doesn’t exist. I love their coupons, great for 50% off an item making most everything affordable. I will caution, you might have to wait for stuff to get cut, but it goes quicker than at other stores. I found everyone there very helpful and you could easily spent hours there just looking around.

Happy hour is not what it once was... sorry to say. Appetizers came out half cold/ half hot. Other food was very good.

Excellent. They have a big selection of specialty baking stuff including flat spatula, melting chocolate and all kinds of ways to bake and shape cakes. They also have stuff for children. Cheryl helped us at the counter and she went above and beyond with my daughter and absolutely made her day. She helped her scan her book and put it into a small bag just for her. She was so proud as she walked out of the store. It made her feel super important. Thanks guys.

As the prices go up the selection seems to go down. I mean the store is clean, when you can find staff theyre helpful and friendly, but we leave having to go somewhere else more often than we get everything we need. Coupons have kind of become a joke too. The coupons used to be the only thing that made it so you could justify the mark ups, but now the only decent ones are online only. Buying craft stuff online is dodgy at best. Theres a decline happening here...

Good selection of fabrics, notions, and craft items. Be sure to download the app or sign-up by email for their coupons. I use a coupon every time I shop here. If you need a pattern, try to buy around a major holiday. They usually have special coupons or really low prices on patterns around the holiday weekends. Regular patterns that cost $15-$20 can be purchased for $1-$3 when they are on sale.Lots of crafting, floral, scrapbooking, sewing/needlecraft, painting, and baking supplies.

Not much of a fabric craft person but had an awesome experience. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Erin, Lupe, and Jes were fantastic!

Picked up some Beetlejuice fabric, Willy Wonka fabric, Day of the Dead, and Halloween fabric the other day. This location always has good finds. The people are fantastic

Surprised to see the many hobbies supported by Joann fabric. They are slightly smaller than Hobby Lobby but have a lot of the same things. Plenty of employees to talk to if you have questions.

They had a lot of items i’ve been wanting and good sales. I was helped by Liana she was nice and very helpful.

Joanne’s fabrics has really gone down hill. They used to have designer fabrics you could order, lots of trims and a great selection of curtain rods. Since the remodel in chandler Az, they seem to be more interested in arts and crafts. I will never go there again for my sewing needs, so very disappointed in the quality and selection!

Best place for vinyl selection. Currently redoing an older car & it’s always nice to see amazon or somewhere online not stand up to an an awesome local store with again best customer service I’ve had - the girl cutting the material, the other one upfront was polite as well.

Called to ask if they had thick Velcro. They told me to drive down to check out the selection. Basically they don’t mind wasting my time if they don’t have it but can’t check the current inventory to save me a drive across town!

I prefer the Joanns in Gilbert. This seems a bit understocked.

The staff here are wonderful and friendly. They do have a lot of new employees due to Covid, so anticipate that it will take a little longer to get items cut and the cashiers may take a little longer to get coupons entered in if they havent done certain ones before. This is still the best place with everything you need to sew and do crafts to your hearts content!!!!

This is our favorite Jo Annes in the valley, super huge store, lots of crafts paints and fabrics. Its on the weird side of the shopping centers but that keeps me further from Michaels. Keep this store alive.

I havent visited in years, and I was pleasantly surprised. They have so many more home goods than I remember. So much cute stuff. The staff at this location was also very helpful.

I just left this store (1900 on 4/27/21) with a TERRIBLE experience. The lovely associate Yasmine advised I could exchange my Bernat Yarn for other colors when I walked in and asked about where to leave my items. She said I could take them along and bring them back when I finished picking put my new colors to exchange. I advised I didnt have my receipt and she said that was fine. I spent 15 minutes picking out new colors and came back to the register. She called for a manager and this thin, elderly gray hair woman came storming over looking like she was going to have a stroke because I didnt have my receipt. She very RUDELY advised that it isnt an exchange because I am selecting new colors. I advised that these are all still Bernat yarns, priced at the same regular price of $10.99. She glared at me and shrugged her shoulders. I asked what am I supposed to do with these since they wont allow me to exchange them and she said that they wont do anything about it. So if I pay in cash and lose my receipt the store wont even honor an even exchange. Not store credit, which I could see getting abused, but a direct exchange for 5 new colors. ABSURD. I will be contacting corporate with this interaction and not returning to this location ever again. What a rude and condescending woman.

The worker was helping me and my daughter first, walked over to the counter with us as a white couple walked up to the counter after we did, and she asked if she could help them first. Of course I chuckled a little, since I expect it from this area. Just a little disappointed..

Saw Deb inside Joannes at the Viking sewing store. Amazing bought a singer beginner machine a couple weeks ago. She showed me how to thread and change a needle and practice a little with stitches. Had an amazing experience.

I always frequent this store, but today I could not believe that while my the cashier was speaking through the microphone with somebody in the store she started crying. Now what could have been so important that somebody had to make this young lady feel this way? Dont we have enough troubles with everything in this world plus the virus? We should be thanking those employees not making them feel that they arent worth much. All she could say was I am sorry, but in reality I was sorry she has to work in a place like this. I will no longer frequent your store.

The fabric section has been redesigned, and the cutting station moved.Due to Covid, they seem to be operating with a skeleton crew and it was hard to find anyone to help me find a particular item.

They had everything I was looking for, and even though they were doing some remodeling, I was still able to easily find ALL of the specific items on my list quickly and affordably.

A sewers paradise to be sure. With coupons, I can purchase quality items for 40 to 50 percent off retail price.

Only negative remark: the cutting table was unmanned for quite a few minutes with a line starting to form (and numbers were not being taken).

EVERYTHING you could want to sew, frame, decorate and craft. Huge library of patterns and then all the elements required for creating the garment. Also sewing machines and fabric and nice salespeople. The folks and prices are reasonable, but the checkout system is from the 1980s. Other than that, its a great place to shop

Other stores from the area have to learn from employees here to learn how to welcome, help and manage customers. Store is well kept, lighting can be improved

The customer service was very good and efficient. I arrived just before closing and still had great service. The young lady that cut the cloth was very friendly and pleasant even though it was late in the evening. She took extra care in handling our order as the fabric was more expensive comparatively. I also got a great 50% off coupon at check out; I definitely want to go back and use it.
