If youre a craft beer fan, you HAVE to check this place out. They have a store and a bar joined. 78 beers on tap in the bar!! The store has hundreds of breweries represented with an amazing line up of beers. Super knowledgeable staff can give the low down on any can you point at.

Kings has and always will be simply the Best beer shop in the city. What they lack in size they more than make up for in an enthusiastic pursuit of the entire spectrum of the craft beer industry, incredible and frequent collaborations with some of the nations top or up-and-coming brewers, bartenders who actually know what they are talking about and can recommend some incredible brews, and the community outreach with the way they employ local businesses to sell food at their location. Seriously couldnt be happier, I tell all of my friends and anyone else who would ask. When you go there, ask for Mr pickles.

Small shop but they had exactly what I wanted! Even a little cheaper than I expected too. Which was a few bottles of mead from Superstition Meadery. Fantastic. They dont have a phone number, I think? But will respond fairly quickly through the Google chat feature. Go ahead and walk in like I did today and youll be met with friendly people inside. Ill be back!

If you are anywhere near this place - make the drive. You wont be disappointed. The selection of beers from all over is AMAZING!! Plus, you can grab a number of pint sized cans to make some great samplers. We stopped here on our way to Utah and had some great beers after some strenuous hikes and every night we toasted Kings Beer for the fab beer we snagged on our way through Phoenix. This place rocks!

This place is the by far the best for an assortment of craft beers and great varieties of wine and other drinks. They always have the goods! Won’t disappoint on what is on stock and on tap. Check out the new outside seating . Always super friendly and have great suggestions.

This wine shop has a wide selection of wines, and it was nice because the atmosphere here is very relaxing. The service was one of a kind and thanks to its staff, who did an amazing job. I so so so badly want to give this place 5 stars, but I just cant. Besides the pricing scale of draft beers, the $3 corking fee for opening cans on premise is pretty absurd. I understand charging it once, but for every can.... Better bottle shop than taproom. Great selection of cans to go.

We walked in and had no purpose of buying anything, just window-shopping. I have been set on another company for a while until I tried this place. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and did not hesitate to help us! He quickly started a conversation and helped guide me to what would be my new favorite wine. Ended up leaving with a purchase of ten bottles and three wine glasses.

Awesome. This is NOT the strip-mall liquor store it appears to be. 100’s of different breweries and styles on hand, as well as growler fills from a huge menu of around 65-70 beers on tap. There also appears to be an adjacent pub area. Wow. Oh and the staff are both knowledgable AND friendly, what a concept!

Great little game bar with 80 taps. Next door is their own store where you can buy 6 packs of almost anything you drank at the bar. Could use more food options, but thats not why I was there.

This place has the best selection of craft beer in the Phoenix area. The only downside is that if youre looking for something specific, there seems to be no rhyme or reason to how they organize them. BUT the staff there knows what theyre talking about and can point out any beer youre looking for.

My friends and I stopped at your shop here because we were intrigued by the nice view outside and the shops whole design. The room was clean when we entered, and the staff was really entertaining. He was very informative and polite when the waiter received our order. In the meantime, we taste it because our order has already been served. The beer and champagne were fine.

Kings has the best gluten free beer and cider selection in Phoenix, hands down. They have great staff, great service, and great beer in the store and the bar. Plus, their prices are the best in midtown/downtown. I don’t buy my beer & wine anywhere else!

This place is a well hidden bar, that is worth the visit. They carry an enormous selection of beer, wine, and mead, all of which is wonderful.The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great time when visiting too. My go-to place to buy wine is this place. The team members working at this facility are very polite, supportive, and knowledgeable about the position of the items they sell. The stores layout is kind of strange, but it didnt take long for me to find what I wanted. Theres nothing negative I can tell about this place. Highly advised!

Favorite Bar AND Beer, Wine, and Mead store by far. Thats right, North side is a store with RIDICULOUSLY low prices on craft beer. The south side is a bar with 75 taps of delicious craft beers that are always rotating. Youll wish they had your beer twice, but youll love flights of beer tastings while you play giant jenga, Super Nintendo, scrabble, or a TON of other games.5 stars seriously does not do it justice. Dont forget to check out their beer menu on the app Untapped so you can plan your beers, and the crolwers and growlers youll be taking home.

Owner was very knowledgeable about wine. We were happy that they are still practicing social distancing and masks....just got our first vaccines and dont wanna get covid before the second one!! The makeshift patio was perfect..and the tempranillo that the owner recommended for us to take home was delicious with steak! Also love that hubby can get his craft beer on...and I can be the wino that I am. 🍻

Forget about frequent wine tastings, which, even at their best, seem a little formulaic and commoditized. The proprietor is intelligent, personable, attentive, hilarious, and dangerously generous. Needless to say, it went just as well for him, as we were able to walk away with six beautiful bottles. It was a truly unforgettable experience!

When I first walked in I was blown away by the coolers featuring over 100 single selections. Didnt even see the tremendous growler possibilities. Lastly, I found the massive selection of hard to find bombers. Overall a class establishment and a great owner.

Ive been looking for a great beer store. Total wine only goes so far. I have found it at Kings! Toys R Us all grown up. The rotating selection is awesome. Not only a store but a bar with an incredible selection. If you cant find a good beer here, then take yourself to Frys and stick with the Bud. Bartenders are knowledgeable. Dont judge me but think of this place like and adult Friends Get yourself a flight, your hop sensors will thank you for it. Oh fyi, the Destihl is on fire! And for you individuals that arent beer drinkers there is a great wine selection but try the Superstition Meadery Blueberry Spaceship. Its tasty. One last thing, no food but youre welcome to bring your own.

Great dive. Drinks are great and cheap. A great place to take a date or to hang in a cozy environment that isnt too loud or overwhelming. It doesnt get too crowded but also isnt empty. Drinks are cheap and generous. I have gone here for for a while and the vibe has always been the same!

Where to begin... Great selection. Fantastic pricing - you can drink the absolute top tier beers for $6 or $7 per pint. Talking about beers that would be $1/ounce at other places. Atmosphere is really comfortable, like a community bar. And the owner, Mickey, is just a great guy who really cares about providing a great experience at a value price point.

Great decor. Wonderful ambiance. Had a great seat at the end of the bar. Wine was extremely delicious and will definitely help you get your wings. Staff is all very good looking and very nice. Would definitely recommend.

Kings Beer & Wine Bar is what you get when someone who is truly passionate about craft beers and wines opens a bar. The selection of craft beers on tap was extensive, and for a small uncorking fee you can order any of the beers or wines offered in the attached store. Although they dont serve food, you can bring food in from anywhere you would like. The environment is fantastic. There is a bar, high top tables and four ridiculously comfortable leather couches. There are also tvs showing sports games. With games like jenga, uno, guess who, connect four, sorry and playing cards, this is the perfect place to hang out with friends. There is music, but its not too loud. The prices are extremely reasonable and the flights are adorable. To top it all off, the staff is not only extremely knowledgeable about their beers but also very friendly.

This place is a hidden gem! I mean, from the outside, it doesnt look like much more than just a simple convenience store, but when you open that door, youre in awe of the beer and wine bar sitting before you. They have a convenience store attached, but its definitely worth sitting in the bar area, and enjoying a few cold beers from their extensive, yet unique, selection. I highly recommend the Mas Agave from Founders. The best part is, youll be able to order a few beers, and be left with a pretty low bar tab! I do believe though, they serve predominantly AZ-brewed beers, which isnt a problem. They dont have a kitchen, but I heard theyre fine with you bringing in food, and enjoying it with your drink.

I go to Kings every few months so I dont consider myself a regular but Ive always enjoyed their massive variety and crowler station. Staff has always been friendly/welcoming, BUT my last experience there takes the cake FOR SURE!I walked in to pick up an order that I placed and paid for online. When I mentioned my name to the owner at the counter he said Ive been waiting for you to come in! He informed me that I was accidentally charged too much for an order I picked up LAST SUMMER and he remembered my name and that I had a chandler address. He offered to rectify this by reversing my $13 transaction from that day and give me the difference of what I was over charged in store credit. He then helped me select some beers based on my preference.I couldnt believe he remembered that incident from almost 10 months prior AND sought me out to rectify the issue instead of me having to come in and mention it! I greatly appreciated the honesty and speaks for what type of business they run. They definitely can count on my business in the future!

Giant selection of local area beers on the store side and always 80 beers on tap on the bar side. The taps rotate quite frequently and its always fun to go and get a flight. The bar side has table top games and couch areas with Super Nintendo consoles. Strongly advise looking at their beer list on Untappd before you get there so you can know which numbers you want beforehand. It can be overwhelming trying to look at the beers on the screens.

Weve heard about this place several times and finally got a chance to stop by. We were impressed. Bartender was extremely friendly and gladly gave us small samples before we committed to selecting the one we wanted. They had 80 beers on tap, the majority of which were craft. Prices varied from about $5 - $10 per pint, most closer to the $5 range. Lots of tabletop games / playing cards to keep you occupied, unless of course youre busy plotting out your next beer order. Also took home a growler. I was impressed that the bartender ran ice water through the growler before filling it to ensure we didnt lose carbonation. One of our new favorite watering holes in Phoenix.
