I did stop by the location on E Washington with a friend that was here in Phoenix for a visit but they were closed 🙁 but a young lady came out to let us know, she was such a sweetheart. She gave my friend a few samples. I had always driven by but never been, but I told my friend it looks like a spot he would like. He did enjoy the samples and I did too.Thank you to the beautiful young lady that we spoke with, I forgot to get your name. 💓
Great place to stop right before the airport. Stayed there for entirely too long and almost missed our flight because the beer and bartenders/patrons were awesome!
Great beer, love this place and you can now get cans in the grocery store, even better!
Great beer and I don’t even love beer. The people that run this brewery were so nice and friendly. The atmosphere was also great! Nice place to hang before we had to catch our flight.
We came here because of the Groupon deal, 2 pints + 2 crowlers for $15. When we entered the barman (Jared) was very friendly. We sampled about five different beers on tap. All of the beer is brewed in house. I would definitely come back here again. In the photo: Hop* Particle IPA. The white chocolate ale is like holiday heaven. Soo good... Although, not that strong.
Great beer and superb service! The manager there tonight was very nice and knowledgeable!
Tried to go two weekends in a row only to find out they were closed without notice for a event. Service is terrible when we have been able to go when theyre actually open.
Coo lil spot to grab a quick bite and a drink. The white chocolate ale is my fave.
Great beer and service!! Pretzel also was fantastic
Beer was good and bartender was better, knew all the beers very well.
First time going and will DEFINITELY go back. Chill vibe, great bartender, good beer selection, good food!
Really good beer! The pizza isnt bad either
Over the past 3 years, I have been a regular visitor to Central Kitchen and now PHX Beer... The food has been good, the service excellent, and the Beer has always been cold and refreshing. The manager, Justin, was always helpful and created an amazing environment for this local establishment to thrive. So why would this place only get a 1 star review?Central Kitchen at 7th street and Bethany Home area was amongst some fierce competition with several eateries in the area. Some of those eateries could not make it, yet with the support of the Local community we invested in this restaurant with our monies during not only the winter season but even more importantly the Summer season when restaurants slow down in the Central Corridor. We were loyal to this Restaurant consistently doing events for our family there and having 8/12 people eating there at a time. This place was busy and was doing well, yet when they opened there new Location in Scottsdale they quickly shut the doors of this downtown location.. Rich the owner used the people of Phoenix to take advantage of a great location in Scottsdale. They Post that they are coming back in September but then they say that they are closed for good? The question is all about Loyalty!!! Central Kitchen was built on the backs of those that live in the Central corridor, and the business we provided was consistent and steady. Now they are gone.. as in Bye Felicia... To say I feel betrayed is an understatement, I guess supporting local companies is not important when that company does not reciprocate...
Alec is always incredibly accommodating and the Sonoran White Chocolate is my favorite!
Nice friendly atmosphere. Good beer selection. Try the mystic climber stout.
Great service and good food but to not list drink prices on the menu (sky harbor location) is something that needs to be changed. This is an airport bar not a fine wine tasting. They need to update menus.
New hazzy IPA is amazing!
We loved dropping by this brewery after getting off the plane from Canada. White Chocolate beer or a flight and a panini. We were very excited to introduce the place to my son and his girlfriend (after picking them up from the airport) and ended up being very disappointed. Worst service ever - actually non-existant. I just read a review from another patron that summed up our experience as well. We waited 15 minutes to be served then asked for assistance. Thats when we were finally told that we needed to order at the bar. Saw another couple come in, sit down and leave as well. Waitress was curt and full of excuses - didnt see us, swamped, etc. There is nothing that indicates that we now need to order from the bar and if thats the case, we simply needed to be told that when she walked by our table to drop off food to someone else. Hopefully this was a one-off but well be very hesitant to go back in the future. On a good note, I like how the room is more open on to the plant now with the bean-bag toss game and shuffle board.
Me and my husband have gone to this place a dozen times, and received the best service and enjoyed the atmosphere. However, today we visited and were treated so poorly, I doubt we will return. The menu and frontline staff has since changed, and that became very evident early in to our visit. The server was preoccupied the entire time with a group of gentlemen sitting in the corner to even attend to us, and when we asked her a question she did very little to mask her annoyance. Truly unprofessional!
Just bought 6 pack of the IPA, very good. Drank from the bottle, it started out a bit too fizzy for my taste. Halfway through was less fizzy and increased in flavor as the brew warmed in the Phoenix 100 degree afternoon, yummy brew! Glad to see this at the grocery store.
Great beer! Amazing food and good company
Great place. Worth stopping by. I love the Ironwood Imperial Porter. Smooth. Actually, I really enjoyed the Keeper also. Really excellent beers . Definitely worth a stop!
Ive been going here regularly for over six months now, and Ive never been disappointed.Ill often swing by to just fill up a growler (only $9!) or two, but I always try to sit in for a pint and/or flight when I get the chance. The sandwiches are tasty too!
I recently attended an event here and had the pleasure of taking a tour of the facility and meeting the owner, George. While I am not a beer connoisseur, I have definitely recommended this place to my friends that are, It is a bit of a hidden gem. I had the Watermelon Ale, which did not have an overwhelming watermelon flavor- a good thing, and also did not have a bitter after taste- a very good thing! They are open for lunch and have a small but nice menu. I believe they close at 7:00, so check out the hours before you head out.
Great local brewery with knowledgeable brew master and supporting team. Guys take a lot of pride in their brews and try to make the best possible beers they can. I tried the Biltmore Blonde and it was great, very smooth and light. I would definitely recommend getting the tour of the place and sampling their other brews.
Great place right here. Quaint and small but what do you expect from a micro brewery. The bar tender was as sweet as can be. Hours are a little short, again its a brewery not a bar. I had the Camelback IPA and its awesome. Book your next party here and get an Uber home.
I know what it is. But would love at least one wine option and basic food. They will let you get food delivered there however. Maybe in another lifetime.
Great place for beer lovers and non-beer drinkers too. Did a tour to see how they make their beer with quality ingredients. The taproom has limited space, but big enough to fit 40 people. The location isnt easy to find, if you are looking for restaurant near by. 8 different flavor of beer to choice from give you perfect excuses to come back again. The owner is very nice and really knows how to make beer. Glad to have a local brewery that makes good beer.
The sour they had on tap was so good. Definitely coming back.
The atmosphere is great and so is the staff but there than that, its okay. The beer and wine are also, just okay. The food is definitely not worth returning for but if you only care for a pleasant atmosphere, then its your type of place.
This is a great Brewery, no doubts about it. Got to spend some time with the owner last night who gave us a tour of how they make the beer, really informative! They have 8 different beers to choose from, ranging in strength and complexity. Their tap room is kinda sparse and a little on the small side, but its all good if youre just stopping by to get a beer. Its definitely a great addation to our local beer scene!
Great beer, good atmosphere and very personable bartender. An enjoyable experience.
Good food and service, like the view of the brewery activity.
If I can give negative 100 stars I would I an African young male walks to entrance of this business and every white person got help that came before me got hellos and service and then after I had to say something twice some one after 5 minutes says something and this empty resurant said a to go sandwich will take 20 minutes to make but the business was so some businesses really dont care
We came here for an event with Google and had never heard of it before. This brewery is fantastic! The owner, George, was very pleasant and had lots of beers on tap. I only tried one, something called Festivius, I think. It was a French beer. Sadly, I dont remember the NAME of the beer, but I sure remember that the beer TASTED GOOD! They also distribute to restaurants and grocery store chains. One of their staff, Erica, was very friendly as well. Will be back here again!
Awesome place - friendly owners and delicious beer - great atmosphere - a MUST VISIT !!!! 💯💯💯
This is a great spot. The Camelback is hard to beat! This is the only place that I go out of my way to get a pint and a growler. They are starting to expand their beer flavors and I am looking forward to tasting other beers.
A true brewery. Low key atmosphere. Have my favorite Phoenix beer. White chocolate ale.
I am giving a one star even though I havent been there. I was going to go last night. I looked at the website on Friday and it was going to be open until 7. I looked yesterday to double check the address and it saw it closes a different time. I tried to call a little after 5. The phone one rings once and then goes busy. I am sorry I bought a groupon from there.
There are at least six craft breweries within a 10 minute drive of where I live in Colorado, and I wish this was one of them! Great beer, nice taproom, good place to hang out and relax. Dont miss the Orange peel IPA or the Inebriator Imperial Russian Stout!
Not the place for a full menu, however, get a flight of super beer and a tasty sandwich while soaking in the local culture. Apparently weekends start Thursday. Gotta love that.
Great Groupon deals. Small brewery. Free parking. Good ales. Pints, crowlers and growlers. Lots of locals and travellers. Watch out for dart board regulars.
This place is great! They have a lot of wonderful local beer as well as their own. They sell 64 ounce growlers for $12($9 refill), awesome deal. They do close early though.
Great service, the best beer
Got the Watermelon Ale and it was delicious. Not too fruity or sweet, just what you want on a warm afternoon. The bartender was also super friendly and knowledgeable.
Luv, luv, luv the White Chocolate Ale! Wish San Diego breweries would make this flavor....
Nice place to sit down and talk, closes a little early. Beer prices are good.
Great beer and a cool taproom vibe. Not open late but we’ll worth the stop.
Sweet little place! Foose ball, board games, darts and a great sampler:) They have some paninis and amazing bit size snacks. My personal favorite is the Orange Peel Ale. They are worth the search and have some great service. Give them a visit for sure.
Great place to enjoy some hometown beers. Wide variety of styles and the bar offers a great view of the production area.
Great atmosphere and beer! Fun darts to play.
It took a groupon to get me in the door, but not to keep me coming back. Good prices, new beers each time I go, and friendly staff. Service can be a little bit slow if staff is pouring flights, but its worth the wait.
Solid beers and great value if you fill a growler, especially on Sunday.
Stopped in here last week on a brew tour of the valley. They have a small tap room, yet a nice range of beers. The brew master was serving and the small crowd was friendly.
Ive passed this place a bunch and never realized this place was here. A nice lil gem of a brewery hidden in a heavily industrial area. Came for an Google event meetup and glad I did. I live really close and will definitely look forward to coming back. They have limited hours so be sure to come between noon and 7pm.
Great space. Great selection of Phoenix Ale and Sonoran Brewing Company beers. Stop in for a beer and a panini and head back to work, of your company allows that sort pf behavior.
Awesome beer, awesome people, and an awesome atmosphere. Would recommend this to others.
Great beers, especially the Ironwood Imperial porter!! Great bar tenderness!!
Two breweries here. Both decent. Sonoran eeks out the win.
Dont feel like your going to a bar. Great place to meet and talk to friends.
Great atmosphere and more importantly always a good beer selection. I make a point of stopping by on Sundays to take advantage of the $10 growler fill plus pint
Great place great beer will definitely come back
Great craft beers outstanding service good value for the money.
Great beer! Great staff! Panini so are tasty! Awesome overall brewery!
Good Ale; Good Food; Relaxing atmosphere!Would recommend to friend!
Best brewery I’ve ever been too!
Great customer service and nice place to chill.
Great beers and great atmosphere. Perfect for a night out.
PHX Beers Co is complete rip off at the airport. I was charged $22 for a glass of average Malbec wine. The managers reply “These are airport prices ma’am”. Really? Boycott this place.
I picked up a six pack of the Ale at Sprouts and loved it, I have actually been looking for a beer like this for a while, this is it, Strong full robust cloudy yeast flakes the way I like beer plus a beer buzz after just one beer.
Good service. The beer is excellent!
Let the beer work its magic, excite the freshness washing away the troubles and unfair demands of life. Gather your strenghts from the various IPAs. You may find the Ale House closes too soon, but you will adjust your schedule next time. The ales make themselves want you.
Oh ikm I use a very Call Glen Stover
Good food. Great prices
Great beers and service. Good sandwich!!
Not a fan of their beer styles but can appreciate what they are going for here. Definitely a no-frills spot but this is part of its character.
Love the place. The owner is super nice and the atmosphere is great!
5 stars for beer quality but spartan otherwise with limited hours and no food aside from chips
Great atmosphere. Great beer. Outstanding service.
Great staff, great selection of brews!! 👍
Good beer. No food
Good beers; food menu leaves something to be desired
Friendly people nice atmosphere.
Great beer. Love the IPA and Wheatstalk.
This is my go-to brewery in Phoenix. It is no-frills, the beer is amazing, and the staff is always warm and accommodating.
