Best chicken Ive ever had hands down. Im not a big meat-eater by any measure but had to put the chicken away in the fridge for the next day otherwise I would have eaten the whole thing in one sitting. Not sure if they do this every day but they were grilling chicken outside and I got mine fresh off the grill. I was the only person speaking English inside but thats how you know its legit and not a tourist trap. Only thing to be aware of is that Pollo al Carbon really means a whole chicken! Its a massive amount of meat so only get that if you can save some for later or are with others. Im sure the other meats like the Carne Asada are terrific too, I dont eat red meat but if I did would have certainly got some of that too.

Their sour cream tastes and is homemade-yum. Excellent grilled meats prepared daily and customer service.

My food was cold and not fresh. The Tripas were from the day before. Chicken was dry and cold.

I was driving be and could smell the deliciousness. They barbecue everything right out front there was no way I was passing this up. Best burrito Ive ever had. Prices are fair and portions generous. This is authentic Mexican food so a word to the wise dont try and order in English. The market had all the usual commodities and staff was friendly.

I’ve been using this carneceria for the past 7 years but I live in North, North PHOENIX and would travel to 16st. And McDowell because the meat is very high quality. The owner Aldo is awesome and very personable so when he opened his second shop closer to home (Anthem) I appreciate that and have more BBQ’s because of that....especially for family parties! Best Carneceria in town!

Someone from the office found this little gem and we now eat there about once a week. The carne asada, carnitas and chicken are top notch in tacos and burritos. The guacamole is also great. We have catered a couple of work events and receive universal praise for the food. Im looking forward to stopping by after work and taking dinner home to the family.

I was a little bit iffy about going into this grocery store but my girlfriend heard that they sold good carne asada. Those reviews were absolutely correct! You have to order and request for the meat to be marinated at the deli area. We also had they hot salsa that has a good kick but not an extreme punch in the face and tasted green. I would definitely recommend this place for their marinated carne! I would rate the place a 5 but I never rate a place a 5 off one visit. We are definitely going back and give their other meats as try and I will update my review.

Delicious Carnitas and fresh everything, I got everything I needed to feast on some carnita tacos! Very clean and the customer service is excellent, I dont care how good your food is if customer service sucks, I dont EVER go back but this place deserves 5 stars and more!

I love coming here for their meat. The carne asada and the carnitas are the best. Also dont forget their pico de gallo. Its good stuff. Its a nice little store. They give great service and they work at a fast pace.
