Sun Valley Stereo replaced my head unit and amplifier in my 2010 mini cooper convertible. They also installed a USB port and back up camera. Ryan was awesome to work with. He recommended Alpine and Rydeem products. Pricing was very good and the service and installation was outstanding! I drove down from Prescott Valley based on all of the positive reviews. Theres a reason that Sun Valley Stereo has been in Business since 1978! Theyre very professional, knowledgeable, and definitely took good care of me as a customer. After several months of debating on what to do with my Skar Audio vxf subs, I went to these guys with quite the task. Fit two 12 vxf woofers in a quad cab ram.Not only did they accomplish what I wanted, they exceeded my expectations by a mile. It looks, sounds, and adds an entirely new dimension to the truck and my audio experience.They quoted me a price, and when I came in to pay, the cost was exactly what was quoted. Not many places can say the same.

Throw Best Buy in the garbage. Have your electronics purchased and installed here. Very knowledgable and it is installed quickly. Ive bought an alarm system and an auto cd player with new speakers. Saved me $150 off the Best Buy price, plus I arrived on the day of my install, tech was waiting and install was done in about two hours. Spot on, Ill go here for ALL my auto electronics in the future.On a second visit, I bought a new radio and speakers for my Moms car. Again, very helpful, explained everything in laymans terms, and had the work done before I realized they finished!!Buy your electronics and install here, you wont go wrong.

Awesome little audio shop. Called them up and told them what I was looking for. Ryan had me come in, we talked a for a few moments and found the right speakers for me. Paid a fantastic price for what I got. I spent the day calling almost every car audio listing on Google and no one could touch these prices. And man I couldnt be happier! This is without doubt the best sound Ive had. They adjusted my amp for me and made things just perfect. Cant wait to come back and get my deck and sub.*Edit: so when I came in last week I told Ryan I would be back next weekend for to get a subwoofer. He said no problem. Today, the next weekend, I called and got someone else who wasnt as excited about me getting my sub installed. Told me now its going to be over two weeks before they can put the subwoofer in. Are you kidding me? I have the Amp and kicker and all that already hooked up so its literally plug and play. Whatever, I had two polar opposite experiences and Ill probably just move on to another audio store.

DO NOT BRING YOUR STEREO HERE!Horrible customer service. I brought my Mercedes CLS550 dropped $2k on a brand new install. Worst mistake ever made. Everything they sold me broke with in 6 months. I have had to replace the subs amps mids and tweeters. Ryan the owner will look at you like its all your fault that everything is not installed right. after the third time I was done never again will I deal with such shady people.

Absolutely never again. Went in for an amp tune and ended with a 1500 watt amp that isn’t pushing my subs as much as a 600 watt amp would. Would recommend going to literally anyone else that actually uses a DD-1. What a waste of time and money.. It’s P1000 on 2 P3s @ 1ohm. Idiots. Never again.

Their price was about $600 less than audio express quote for the same equipment with zero sacrifice on quality. They got it done fast, it works perfectly, sounds great, and looks super clean. Sun Valley Stereo was able to troubleshoot & repair the coach door lock on our custom RV (we live in it full time). The key worked, but the key fob had quit working. The coach is built with no visible screws or attachments. They got us in to the shop in a timely manner and found the broken wires without damaging our interior. They really know their craft!!

Today, it was to adjust a remote start system installed by the previous vehicle owner, as well as install replacement tow mirrors and updated light bulbs. My fiancé went in to get a new stereo unit for his truck that he recently purchased. It didn’t come with one from the seller. Spent over 500 dollars for it and install. Pick it up. Guy says it needs new speakers, but that it works. Come to see he always screwed in the face plate of the area to the dash (didn’t fit when we bought it). He goes to drive off and it cuts out horribly with a few seconds of music between. Wires are hanging down from the dash. A wire is wrapped around the emergency break. Call them to see if they will fix it since it’s their bad. They say no. Go there to see if they will fix it because maybe the person on the phone isn’t the actual boss. Still a resounding no. These wires could potentially be dangerous in a situation tying up the peddles. Also the speakers work well and are just mismatched! Ugh horrible customer service. Horrible place.

Be careful of this place . They cracked my dash and did a hokey repair job. They did tell me afterwards and could have knocked the price down for the damage they caused.

I was referred to Sun Valley Stereo from a friend and was told to ask for Darryl. I made an appointment for Tuesday 8/25/15 at 9 AM. I arrived a little early and met with Ryan. I had a budget in mind and had an idea of what I was looking for. Ryan took the time to show me a number of speaker brands and I went with what Ryan suggested based on his experience. I also had a couple of 12 inch subs in a box along with a 1000 watt amp. Darryl hooked up my sub, my amp and installed all the new speakers - all said and done we came in under what I had budgeted. I never disclosed what my budget was out of fear we would perhaps magically arrive to what I had allocated to spend. They did not attempt to over sell me. They took my car in right away, estimated the install time around 3 hours and finished in about 2 hours. My sound system is clean, tight and beyond perfect. I look forward to doing additional work with them in regards to a backup camera and a dash cam. I understand why this business has been in place for over 30 years and with respect to me, Ill be a customer for life. Ive always had a system in every car Ive owned and I know well be doing business again in the future. I give this place 2 thumbs up and my full Nielsen ratings.

I will never go anywhere else. After hearing a rattle in my speakers that sounded like at least two of them were blown, I started pricing new speakers for my car. Audio Express quoted me $500 for four speakers and since the doors would be opened up they were going to throw in the sound dampener material for free. Sounded legit until I realized there were 8 speakers in my car. Went to Best Buy and they were all together confused about what I needed. After doing some research I found Sun Valley was not only close to me but well reviewed. I called and talked to Ryan and he basically told me I didnt need new speakers. I took my car in and a few hours later had dampener in the doors and my original speakers sounding brand new. Apparently this is a known issue in my car. Sun Valley could have told me 1k for all new speakers and I would have paid, instead they did something that shocked me, they were honest. For $206 they got my speakers sounding clear as a bell and sound dampener in the doors. Its rare to find an honest business these days but Sun Valley is one of those places!

Went to get an alarm installed and was told the trunk would open with the remote does not work, Also doors don’t lock anymore and main remote unpairs and have to keep taking batteries off andReprogram. Also had a sound system installed and it would shut off out of nowhere and epicenter works when it wants if you want quality work the first time take it to BestBuy with the profesionals don’t waste your time here.

Ryan and team did an awesome job building and installing a custom box with 2x JL Audio 10 subs, adding an amp, and soundproofed everything with dynamat in the back of my AMG Mercedes. I had a small issue after the install and they took care of it immediately. 2 Months later I had a question, returned today and Ryan took care if my concern immediately.Their service is top notch, the build quality is top notch, and their support after has been top notch. I recently brought Ryan and his techs a radio install challenge that three other parties could not solve - another installer, the vehicles dealer service department, and the manufacturer of an after market wiring harness. The tech at Sun Valley had the problem diagnosed and fixed in under two hours at a cost that was very reasonable. I will definitely go to these guys for future mobile electronics needs.

I love bringing my vehicles here. Theyve done 2 of my impalas, my Cadillac and my Mercedes as well as a friends trailblazer. They even done a breathalyzer for someone else I know. I read some reviews online and chose this location, based on those reviews. They were spot on. Luckily, Ryan helped me and showed me a better stereo than the one I was looking at, for the same price. Everything was quickly installed and he even offered to help sync my phone to the stereo.I had a mic in my car for phone calls that had become unattached and been dangling. Just today I realized it was not only fixed but placed in a spot above my rear view mirror. No extra charge. Didnt even mention it. Just amazing service.I will refer everyone looking for a stereo to this place.

Purchased a new stereo from them on November 10, 2018. Overall, the service and price were magnificent. The installation only took about 30-45 minutes. If you buy a stereo from them, it will only cost the radio+tax and no labor. Cheaper and better service than Status Auto Gallery which charges radio+labor+tax. Worth the drive and I spent $120 ($130.32 incl. tax) for a UTE-73BT Alpine radio which retails at $99 (107 incl. tax) which is not a bad deal.

Theyre awesome. Sun Valley gave me a great deal and my system sound amazing. I didnt want anything too crazy loud and its perfect. The dashkit and pioneer touch, and everything work great. Definitely would recommend.

My car had two speakers that were not working and I choose Sun Valley Stereo after reading all the good reviews. I am not disappointed at all. They suggested me great replacement speakers and the total cost was slightly below what I was expecting from my research. I had to come back 2 months later for some adjustments and they gladly took the time to complete them without charging me. I barely take the time to write reviews, but Sun Valley Stereo totally deserved it.

I cant say enough about how great Sun Valley Stereo has been!! We got a great price on a car stereo and 4 new speakers, we were so lucky to find them after Audio Express tried to rip us off. They also installed 4 new automatic door locks and an electric window motor. Traditional car repair shops quoted ridiculous prices, but the amazing people at Sun Valley Stereo took amazing care of my sons car and saved me a ton of money! I gave them all 5 stars, but I would give them 10 if I could!!!

I went to eat at the Buffalo Wild Wings a night prior to coming to sun Valley, I checked in the window times and It said it was open at 9am-4pm, Its now Saturday..i cancelled a job I had to come here and possibly install a radio and it was closed. I lost money and this shop was closed, I rate them a 3stars because there store Schedule sign and Google Schedule time is incorrect, Im writing this review as Im outside the shop and there cars coming and noticing its closed as well, Sunday Valley has such great reviews and its a bumer to have to rate them 3stars, i would suggest to put a sign at the store and change time in google,as I just called and its closed every 3Rd Saturday of the month

I live almost an hour away from this stores location, but after reading all the positive reviews I figured it was worth the trip since I was looking into over a thousand dollars with of equipment and installation. It was a little busy, and so I waited around for a few minutes before asking for help from a salesman named Ryan. I told Ryan I was purchasing a new car in a few weeks and wanted to upgrade the entire system (including nav, back-up camera, the works). Ryan gave me the impression that I was wasting his time and he had more important things to do during our brief (maybe 7 minute interaction). He managed to make, what should have been a fun and enjoyable experience for me, into a negative one.

These guys set me up with exactly what I needed: Quality speakers to replace my stock sub-par canned speakers.I have been wanting to upgrade my speakers for a couple years now, but didnt want to spend a fortune and really, I dont need super-fancy sub-woofer shake the car sound (but from what is in the showroom, they could have!). They set me up with a quote and installation date within a few minutes. They were totally upfront with cost and time and no upselling me with items I didnt need (I tried--Dont I need ____??? with an honest, No, not really.). This was great, as I really dont know anything about speakers and didnt want to spend a lot of time trying to figure it all out. Professional, knowledgeable and honest with a true desire to make their customers happy--including me!

When someone has an experience as good as I have I really think they should share it and let others know. I took my jeep patriot to three shops and then to Sun Valley stereo Sun Valley stereo was the only company that said they could do what I wanted the other said it couldn’t be done. To make a long story short I’ve been back-and-forth adding to my jeep over the last week. Ryan and the staff are the most knowledgeable that I have ever experienced and I’ve had many vehicles I will never go anywhere else their pricing, their knowledge, and their expertise make them one of the best of the best in the industry.

I live 40 miles from their store. Im always willing to make the trip, even for my smallest purchases. NEVER once have they tried to upsell me something that I didnt need. Unlike other car audio shops (A**** E******) theres no sales pressure when you come into their store. If youre undecided or just looking, theyll leave you alone and let you look. Theyll give you an objective opinion, if you ask, and dont always suggest the most expensive item they sell which I find refreshing.My technical skills are very limited to non existent. I needed a piece of equipment tested to confirm it was functioning properly. The other guys wanted $25.00 for the 5 minute test (which was crazy). Ryan at Sun Valley Stereo tested it for $5.00 and tested my second one at no charge.On another occasion they mounted my W7 13.5 (sub woofer) in an enclosure. Without me requesting it, the Installer fully tested the sub before installing it. I really appreciated the extra step taken without me having to ask.This the only shop in Phoenix that I trust enough to work on my cars audio system...

I had an amp and sub given to me by my friend and had Sun valley install them March of 2013. The sub was blown and they replaced it for a reasonable price. I started having some issues. I thought the sub went out? I dropped by and they found that the battery connections had corrosion. I told them to proceed with the repair. They approached me about 20 minutes later and handed me my key. I asked what the damage was, and the tech told me that it was on them. Every case is different but I wanted to pass this on and let others know that they did what they did what they needed to make you leave there happier than when you arrived. I want to thank them for their great customer service and even if they didnt perform the minor repair for free, that they have a happy customer and Ill definitely go back there in the future.

Great shop! I had an install done on my Class 8 truck. They put in new door speakers and rear speakers as well as built a custom box and mounted the amp and subwoofer that I provided. These guys were straight forward and you could tell that they had a passion for what they do. The install was done very cleanly and with great attention to detail. Great place to have car alarm I stalled staff worked with me on what I wanted and had a very good price on install prices compared to audio express or bestbuy. For example it was 25 dollars extra to install a backup battery while audio express wanted 89 and best buy wanted 65. I was impressed with the work as well
