I took my husband’s phone in because he couldn’t hear anyone unless it was on speaker (annoying😋). Austin took it to the back room and came back shortly and said all it needed was a cleaning. He refused to let me pay him anything for his very kind and thoughtful service, especially after my husband had gone to our phone service provider and all they wanted to do was sell him a new phone! Austin went above and beyond. The phone is working great, and I will highly recommend this store to anyone who is having phone difficulties.

I would give them no stars at all if it were possible. After calling ahead and speaking with one of the repair staff (NOT the answering service as they later claimed) we drove over an hour for our appointment. We were originally told it would take up to 4 hours to fix the phone but when we got there they said it would take 1 to 2 days. Then they tried to blame the erroneous info on the answering service. So basically, they lied. We called uBreakiFix in Tucson and they immediately told us how long it would take and why. We will be going there.

This place is great! They normally fix electronics like phones, iPad, and laptops, but I called to see if they would try to fix my sons eyeglasses and they were willing to give it a try. His rims had broken right on a seam, so it seemed like it could be something simple. Although they were unable to fix it, they really gave it their all to help. The staff is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The store is conveniently located, easy parking, and clean. Only thing I would say to make my visit better was to have more seating in the lobby for those who were just waiting. I highly recommend them and would trust them to give it their all when you need help fixing what you broke. 😉

So...I ran my phone over with a forklift. It fell out of my belt clip. I ran it smooth over, not the corner, not the side, the entire phone. First, Kudos to OtterBox because the phone still worked however I was playing phone answering roulette because the screen was worse than an Arizona windshield. It allowed me to answer though.Not only were these wonderful people the only ones who had the parts in stock, they are currently in a remodel and actually took extra time to find these parts that they thought might be lost. They then fixed this mess of a phone Im typing on, in less than 4 hours, plus fixed other issues I didnt even know I had (my insurance paid off today for sure). My business is my phone, so I couldnt be without, and to help with that they went above and beyond.This is my new electronics repair place, 100%, and I live in Avondale. Everyone there was great! I think she is the manager, and I never did ask her name, but best customer service ever! The guy who fixed my phone (Austin I think?) Was super informative, called me to give me updates, and even charged my phone for me as they waited for me to come pick it up.

I had an excellent experience with the Ahwatukee team. My phone had suddenly and aggressively bricked itself, and I couldnt manage to get the data off. LaToya worked on my old phone for 2 weeks, and was finally able to recover my contacts!! The whole time I was kept in the loop and well taken care of. The team was very professional and careful with managing my device and data, and I would definitely return for any future technical issues.

Called about a pixel 5a screen replacement on Wednesday, they told me theyd have a new OLED screen on Thursday. I set up an appointment on Friday afternoon to come by. Friday arrives and when I get to the location NO one knew I was coming, and they didnt have the screen ordered. They also quoted me a price of 120$, this was wrong. So no screen and que a bait and switch, turns out the screen is 180$ and the total for the job is 269$ plus tax.Heck no!I encourage anyone and everyone to go elsewhere, these bait and switchers will take you for all you got.

My Galaxy Note 20 Ultra display stopped working, and the staff here installed a new display for me. They were able to tell me the phone was still under Samsung warranty, and they completed the repair super fast and made sure everything was right. They were all so friendly and helpful, too. It was way easier than a replacement phone from my carrier would have been. Thanks so much!

Dont go here if you need warranty work done through Samsung. The kids working in the back couldnt care less in that case. But of course if youre paying out of pocket, theyll service your device with a smile.Took my cell phone in after a Samsung representative suggested I take it and have them deal with it. One of the UBIF employees took a look at it for 2 minutes and tells me they cant do anything with it.Sad

I went in to get my sons IPhone charger port fixed. They were able to break down to me repairs and cost of possible problems. The guy was able to clean the charger port for free and the phone worked fine. Im sure if I would have went somewhere else they could have ripped me off. Great professional and honest service. I came in around noon with a my wife’s water damaged phone and got it back fixed and working perfectly by 6pm.LaToya helped me and is fantastic. She knew her stuff and went the extra mile getting me my phone back in 6 hours instead of the originally quoted week. I totally recommend her and will come back (hopefully not too soon) for any tech issues.

I took my laptop to repair a hinge that was not closing properly. This business had fixed this same issue roughly 9 months ago. At that time they were very professional and I was quite satisfied. This time, I dropped off the computer...waited 10 days and never got a call nor an email telling me the status. After losing my patience, I drove to the location and after a long wait, I was told that the computer needed a DATA RETRIEVAL and that they could not fix the hinge. I am a hardware guy and the only reason I could not do the job myself was that I didnt have the tools....and YOU DO NOT NEED A DATA RETRIEVAL to fix a HINGE!! These people really think the customer is stupid. I also forgot to mention that I had completed a solid HD replacement before I took it in...so a DATA RETRIEVAL was an attempt of a rip off.I just took my computer, didnt say another word...and LEFT. Please avoid this place like the plague....they went from superb to less than awful.

Although they were not able to fix my phone they did give it a good try. My only concern was the number of times I had to visit their location only to be advised that my phone wasn’t ready. I guess they shouldn’t advise that a repair job can be done in 90 minutes or so if they are subject to all the interruptions from walk-in customers that delay the repair substantially. Maybe they should have a dedicated counter person to deal with walkins etc. so repairs don’t get interrupted and time extended. Anyway they got me up and running so I’m grateful for that and the phone should be serviceable and could be used as a trade for the next generation iPhone.

I destroyed my iPhone needing front glass, lcd and back glass. JV greeted me very politely and professionally. Communication was throughout outstanding.Tanya the store manager (and JV) stayed late to assure I was able to take my phone home same day. Her attention to detail and work ethic showed her passion for her work.The very next morning, thru no fault of Tanya or JV, there was a materials defect issue. Tanya responded very professionally with compassion and quite a bit of humility. Though the defect was no fault of her own she showed rare integrity and took ownership and displayed a sincere desire to make me a satisfied customer regardless.Honestly one of the best customer service experience I’ve had in any industry in a very long time.

The charging port on my iPhone was not working and they gave me a $90 estimate to replace it. When I showed up, the person on staff took it back and cleaned it and it worked perfectly. They didnt even charge me. Very happy with the experience!

I had a broken screen on my iPhone and brought it in to be repaired. Their online estimate was spot on with the price they gave me in the store. The lovely young lady behind the counter was very friendly and offered additional products but wasn’t pushy about it at all. They finished my phone under the time they had stated, and the service and value were well worth it!

Battery replacement. Staff is nice and while they were busy today, they got my phone in and out on the same day. Will come back if need another battery or other service.

When I went in the customer before me was finishing up a tantrum about how this place had his device over a month. My phone ended up taking just under a month for a battery replacement (I was told it would be done the next day). I later ran into the customer who was behind me in line and we swapped horror stories about major failures on ubreakifix promises to deliver, including, they broke that guys phone while fixing the screen which added to the repair time by a week. My phone came back clean and in good working order although I had already bought a new one due to the EXTREMELY LONG time it took them to fix it. Will never go here again, not worth it.

My computer was having issues with an app running constantly in the background. I’m an elementary teacher and use my personal computer for Zoom with students. I took my laptop to the Ahwatukee location, and they had it for nine days. They called me yesterday and said that it was fixed. I picked it up today, and my computer is still doing the same thing as before. So I called the store and they told me to bring it in and I would be placed at the back of the line (even though it was a warranty issue). They also wanted me to bring my own external hard drive so that they could download my computer’s data for a complete wipe. They told me that they don’t have any drives like that in their shop. But they’re a computer repair shop!?! I will NEVER use these people again.

This was a repeat visit. Right after having my battery replaced at this location the volume button stopped working. I brought it back in, they diagnosed that the connector assembly had gotten damaged (during the repair). They said it would be covered and ordered a new one which took a few days. A few days later of me not having my phone, they said Google wouldnt authorize the repair (why should they? Ubreakifix broke it during repair), but they were able to make the button work again with the old connector. I let it slide since I wanted my device back at this point and it was working at the time. Now it broke out of the repair warranty and Im stuck paying out of pocket.

The diagnosis process was seamless, the pricing was absolutely better than I expected and Ill be bringing my old home PC that died suddenly in as well.I feel like I learned and its worth trying to repair your old tech rather than just buying something new. Pretty cool to be honest!

Our phone was repaired and looking brand new in less than a day. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

If there was a zero star I would click on that choice so fast I make fortnite tryhards look pathetic. I gave them my phone. The employe then said that they couldnt work on in since they would have to stay for longer just to work on it. They practically said they didnt want to do their job. It took around 4 days(which 2 days longer than they said it would take) for them to fix it. My phone had no problems after that, but I noticed that my phone had some new scratches on the sides. And they were deep scratches. Anyways month later my phone started acting up again, this time not responding to touch. They had obviously used felt parts to repair my phone. I contacted Samsung and they said for me to ship it to Samsung. Would not reccomend, better to ship it to actual Samsung, due to my bad experience with ubreakifix.

I had my xbox console in for a diagnostic. I was fine with the timeframe given due to a backlog (two weeks). Once the diagnostic was complete I was told there was nothing wrong and to get an external hard drive, which I did. My console still doesnt work and is having the same issue of not booting up properly.

I recently put a 5 star because all was working fine, after 2 days there was this buzzing noise that wouldn’t stop, sounds like it’s coming from the CPU fan. Everything works fine but that noise is worrying and annoying.

I brought a laptop in today to see if it could be repaired. It got stepped on and the screen glass is cracked. The laptop still worked fine. They took it in the back to look at it, did not advise me that they would be taking it apart in anyway then brought it back out and told me that they could not find a replacement part, except the outside cover. I realized that the screen was now detached from the back cover which cracked it more and now the screen will not go back in. When I voiced my concern that was not how it was when I brought it in I was told they had to remove it to get a part number. Why would they not ask to do this first and why would they not have enough foresight to know that it may cause additional damage and ask before taking it apart. Now we have no choice but to replace it when we could have likely gotten by at least long enough for my son to finish summer courses. Not pleased at all especially when I voiced my concern and they seemed to not care at all. They also gave it back to me closed I believe hoping I wouldnt notice the additional damage they did to it. be very caution when taking items into them and dont just let them take it into the back without knowing what they are going to do ahead of time.

I wish I could give this establishment 0 reviews. Super disappointed. I called the day before to make an appointment for my asurion claim to have my cracked screen repaired on my pixel and they said I do not need an appointment. I show up the next morning 15 mins after they open and had to wait 45 minutes till someone showed up to open the store. Upon opening the store, they couldnt find my claim...(the same claim I had just verified the day before by calling the location to ensure my claim was transferred there from another location.) The young lady was very nice, but being nice really is not convenient when i just took an early lunch break to drop my phone off for repair. I was told to come back at 5pm (6 hrs later) ... I called around 1:30 pm to see if my phone was still on track for a 5pm pickup, as I have a small window of time to pick up my phone, and go pick up my kids in north scottsdale....when i came to pickup my phone i had to wait another 50 minutes, and upon arrival they could not even find my phone! The gentleman went in the back and led me to believe he was just going to grab my phone, in fact - he stayed back there so long I had to call out for him to provide me with an update...in which he told me it will be another 30-45 minutes to run diagnostics .... I figured I should stay there till they completed my repair, in fear that if i left, theyd take their sweet time. I literally almost fell asleep on their couch. Their coffee table, although super irrelevant, is held together by duck tape...these are the people we are trusting to repair our devices? I did not get a drop off receipt, or any piece of paperwork regarding my phone repair. Now, 24 hrs later - my phone is not working properly... it is not charging at all, as we roll into a holiday weekend. I do not think a customer could be more disappointed at this point. Why is this our only option for phone repairs in todays day and age. So upset and unhappy.

Called this morning. Brought my phone in around noon. Very professional and polite. My phone was repaired and ready for pick up at 2:45. I think that is a great turn around time! Thank you gentlemen for repairing my phone and making it easy for me!

I am a client at the Ahwatukee store located on 48th St. and Ray. I have been there numerous times recently and I have strictly been dealing with the manager, Tyler, due to the nature of the complications. At all times Tyler was extremely professional, on top of being super capable. He has a deep understanding of electronics. He was always pleasant and smiled. Most importantly, he did not give up until he fixed the issues. Additionally, I found all of the staff to be very helpful and accommodating. The store was also kept very clean. All in all, I give it 5 stars and highly recommend them.

I had an iPhone 5 SE that needed a screen repair after my son dropped it - he ordered a replacement screen but could not complete the repair due to poor instructions, so I brought the phone to uBreakiRepair, and was told that after they tried two screens, the phone simply had been too damaged to function again. They helped me to transfer my SIM card to another IPhone 5 that had belonged to my husband, got it running for me and explained some details that i didnt understand. Troy and Tyler (Store 423 in Ahwatukee) were most helpful, very knowledgeable, courteous and provided stellar service! I will be taking all my tech repairs and issues to them in the future and I urge others to give them a try - their pricing is great and they stick to the time estimate!

60 days after having my screen repaired weird lines started appearing on my screen. Took it back to the store to have it replaced under warranty. The guy at the counter took my phone to the back and then brought it back and pointed to some scratches on the case. Told him those were from when I first broke the screen. All I got from him was that they assume the phone was dropped. They store would not honor the warranty. Took my phone to the Chandler Mall store. The looked at it and agreed to make the repairs because they didnt see any obvious marks to the case. Beware the Awhatukee store will do their best not to honor the warranty.

Tyler was fantastic and I recommend this place to anyone looking to have something fixed.
