Meh... Just coffee. Service ok, but it bothered me that the gentlemen threw away all the baked goods and had just let my husband pay full price for his pastry. Why not discount the items so you can sell them and still earn a little revenue instead of dumping all that money into the trash?!!! Im sure if he had walked around and asked if people wanted to buy a pastry for a certain percentage off people would be willing to do so!!! So sad to see... π₯ I wont return just knowing that this is something they practice.
Great coffee, great staff, very quick service and the place was busy! Easy street parking. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Oatmeal was watery.
The people their are so nice. Amazing employees and nice little shop. Prices are debatable
Wow. Best latte Ive had in a very long time. My first experience with oat milk, definitely recommend. Perfectly foamed. Cute place, too. Friendly staff.
One of the best coffee shops in town as all knew! They have great coffee and delicious cookies here! The staff is super friendly, actually, they are the most welcoming and the nicest people I ever met in a coffee shop. We would be coming back here again soon. I would recommend this to everyone who loved coffee.
Lola staff was friendly and so kind. Love the shop and the aesthetic. Coffee was amazing. Great variety of drinks/options.
Iβm huge on good coffee and this place wasnβt good at all. I got a Vanilla latte and it just tasted super burnt. I personally wonβt be returning and there are so many other places in the valley that taste 100% better.
Drip coffee is pretty good, currently my morning go to
You have my wholehearted and unequivocal endorsement! I am a customer of yours, and I am very pleased with the services you have. Your coworkers were considerate and courteous. They were both capable of following the deadlines set by their customers. Its a relaxing and satisfying feeling. This coffee shop is ideal for those who want to spend time alone.
Love love love this coffee shop!! The coffee is amazing and the shop itself is super cute and cozy and in the best location. Almost feels European! Been coming here for years and it never disappoints β€οΈ
Absolutely love this funky place downtown Phoenix! They have great selection of coffee drinks as well as pastries! You can enjoy your stay inside or if you prefer you can sit on a patio or simply take it to go. Clean place, interesting decor and knowledgeable employees. I highly recommend everyone to stop and check this spot out during their visit to Phoenix! I will make sure that i do next time i go there!
Iβve been making it a habit to go to only coffee joints and cafes. I came across this lovely spot for coffee from a friend. The staff are really kind, quick and professional. The cafe is placed beside a garage, and a lot of trees on the way to the cafe. I really enjoy the patio thatβs outback past the bathrooms. Itβs a really cozy and nice environment. The quality of the drinks and goods are offered are great. I espesically like that the coffee taste amazing. The baristas do a great job making a cup of iced coffee. This is a great spot to go to if your a local or tourist wanting to enjoy more of the PHX culture. Itβs in a great/iconic spot off of Roosevelt.πππ
Coffee was really good. The pastries are not so great but theyre still ok. They have indoor and outdoor seating and it gets busy on the weekends.
Lola forever! When I moved back to Arizona in 2017, Lola was one of my first main spots I spent a lot of time in when I was re-introduced to Downtown Phoenix and what it has become over the last 5-10 years. A lot of special memories at Lola. Love the feeling of community. The coffee isnt quite as up to parr as it used to be, I would say mainly because they used to have a lot of the same/consistent baristas and over the last few years there have been a lot of people in and out. When their coffee is good though it is DAMN good. The snacks + pastries + food is always delicious. And they did a GREAT job during COVID. Long live Lola!
This coffee shop comes highly recommended from me. This is a lovely coffee shop both inside and out. With polite and happy employees and a strong range of affordable balanced menu options, the place lives up to standards. The ambiance is really relaxing, and the location is excellent.
If you go here, just realize theres metered street parking available, so you may have to parallel park. Also, watch your step going in & out- I tripped both ways. Coffee menu is just the typical, breakfast pastry options are all really good. Prices are good too. Overall, coffee shop is great, but nothing on the menu really stood out me.
The cafe caramel latte was so good. Will go back just for that.
Green tea is my fav drink and I donβt drink coffee. Lola has, hands down, my favorite green tea of all time. Itβs like a tropical green tea and tastes so so good. I come here before anywhere else
Their coffee completely satisfies my taste at a very reasonable price. The promptness with which the service was given made my stay even more memorable. Anyone I know who knows coffee shops highly recommends this one. The interior design is both exclusive and photo-perfect. If youre a coffee connoisseur, you could go to this coffee house.
My wife and I went here because the bagel place we wanted to go was too far away. They didnt have any bagels, but I got a breakfast sandwich on a croissant, and it was amazing! The croissant was so flaky, and I got potatoes on it, which was so good! The seasoning they used was great, and I enjoyed every bite thoroughly. Highly recommend.
I love Lolaβs! Every time we visit the Phoenix area we come here. The staff is so friendly and helpful with suggestions if you want to shake up your usual order. They were very accommodating to my gluten allergy after what I wanted on the menu wasnβt being served today. Coffee is wonderful in flavor and smooth to the palate. There menu has the smallest up charge for milk alternatives that Iβve seen anywhere in the area, which is always nice for those who choose to do something other than cow dairy. Breakfast is simple- build your own sandwich, burrito or omelette. Pastries looked good in the case, but arenβt for me- didnβt see anything gluten-free at quick glance (but I could be wrong).
We have been here dozens of times. Service is ALWAYS fast and friendly. The patio is great and shaded so itβs not too uncomfortable even when itβs hot out. Their whipped cream has espresso in it, Iβd definitely recommend giving it a try. We love this place and continue to return!
Friendly knowledgeable baristas with yummy espresso offerings. Nice patio with misting system.
I like to go to local coffee joints when traveling. It usually tells me more about the area as a whole. Lola Coffee gave me a small town coffee shop vibe in downtown Phoenix. That is not an easy thing to do, so kudos to the management and staff. Parking was not too bad, and there is a parking garage right in the back yard.Overall, if you are traveling and need some coffee - before you throw money out the window to the Starbucks up the street, give Lolas a shot. I bet you wont be disappointed you did. And you will have supported someone local rather than a chain from Washington.
Nice vibe. Personally I enjoyed the outdoor seating. Im not from the area, so getting to enjoy some green tea and a cinnamon bun while directly across the street from beautiful palm trees was a treat for me. The cinnamon buns are delicious (and huge). I could only eat half, but Ill enjoy the rest later. They were quick, friendly, had plenty of coffee and food options. If I were more in the mood for a meal I would have gotten one of their breakfast burritos bc they sounded great. All the pastries available to view looked delicious. Im in town for a week and will likely stop by here again
This is truly a lovely place to get some coffee. This place really well-deserved more than five-star ratings. Everything from their staff, interior designs, and even the services were exceptional. A place to keep coming back to for more and more every time. I highly recommend this coffee shop to everyone.
A great cup of coffee. I live in the east valley and chose the place to meet a friend that lives in the west valley. Iβm glad I did. I will definitely go back for Saturday morning coffee and the nice drive.
This Coffee Shop has a lively feel. I should have spent the whole day sipping their tasty coffees by myself.
Delicious coffee! I got the Matador, and it was really yummy. It is pretty sweet, so if you dont love super sweet, Id recommend something else. The morning bun and pumpkin bread were also delicious. The service was excellent!
Just moved here. This coffee place is amazing and has the best chocolate croissants
Great coffee! Great employees & service. Glad to see the patio option out back. It used to be super crowded inside, but they have moved out the tables for social distancing. Always clean, too. Not much of a baked good selection today, but we came late in the day. Definitely will go again.
A nice little boutique coffee shop in Phoenix. Hope they have more outdoor sitting area since everyone is sitting outside due to the Covid. Coffee was good and service is quick even with a long line. Definitely a great place to hang out with other coffee lovers.
Cute and yummy. Not a big fan of the key for the bathroom, but its all good. Very nice patio and staff.
Im exhausted. I went to find a drive thru coffee place downtown XD my mistake. After driving around for a bit I parked and looked up the nearest coffee place. I found Lola Coffee in my frustration and made my way there. Everyone was wearing masks and keeping their distance. This time I wasnt in the mood for a surprise drink. (I know surprising) I wanted whatever their strongest caffeinated coffee was and I didnt care whether it was hot or cold. Immediately she chose a drink for me. I dont always like sugar or milk in my drinks so when I got it black I was extremely pleased. I asked for a croissant as well cause I needed something in my system. It did kinda fall apart on me but thats how most croissants are. The prices were agreeable and affordable like most coffee places. All in all a really good experience! They were kind and friendly with a relaxed atmosphere even with all the caffeine addicts about XD. The music was a tad loud but I think that might be because Im on edge today ^__^9/10 would definitely be going back!
Its my first tie here and we had a good experience.Good coffee, good customer service. And breakfast burritos love it.Home made taste,Thank you guys.
I was taken by surprise. My wife planned our breakfast date for Lola and I was not sure. I had the Americano with almond milk and she had caramel coffee. Mine was full bodied so the coffee flavor came right through, nice. Hers was subtle, in a good way, so that you tasted the coffee and caramel. The breakfast burrito was delicious, texture and flavor. If you are there before 7am, free parking on the street until 8am, otherwise use the parking garage behind and adjacent.
Perfection in a cup!! I cant go to no other place for my drinks the bar has been set! So happy I stopped by one day and I literary go everyday they are open and sometimes twice! The Owners are Awesome and they have the best Baristas! Support local!
Great food but the process is a little broken to get your food. You build your meal to order instead of a menu which can be nice but also very time consuming. You have to wait for your order in a crowded area since it wonβt be delivered. The food was very good but outside the flies were horrible to the point we didnβt want to stay long.
Pretty chill little place, would love to go back there again sometime.
I went to both Lola Coffee locations while in Phoenix recently, and they are both amazing! The coffee is some of the best you can get, hands down. Their menu has a nice mix of options for veggie and carnivore alike, and for what all you get, the pricing is great. If you get their breakfast burrito, you can almost easily split that between 2 people. After all of that, their staff are some of the most friendly youll ever encounter. Anywhere. I cant wait to visit when Im back in town.
Wow, coffee was great and so cheap! Canβt remember the last time I had an iced latte under $5! Friendly staff, quick service
I met her in a club down in old Soho,Where you drink champagne and it tastes just like Coca-Cola, C-O-L-A ...Cola.She walked up to me and she asked me to dance,I asked her her name and in a dark brown voice she said.... Lola!
Very nice place with outdoor seating (indoors is Covid-limited and was all occupied). Parking is ok. Iβve had MUCH better drip. The scone was nice. There was an available restroom.
Dude this place is KILLER. Def in my top 3 coffee places in greater PHX.I have tried the iced mocha, iced blanco (white mocha), hot blanco, and hot hazelnut. I liked all of them! Not too sweet, but sweet enough while maintaining yummy dark espresso flavor. Just the way I love my lattes.Has a super cool atmosphere, big windows, cute city vibe. Woods and concrete and industrial look for decor / design. Neat seating area out back thatβs fairly sizable. Volume is just right, you can chat without feeling too loud, but you also donβt mind the white noise around you.Friendly baristas! Very helpful. They even recommended some lunch places nearby since we wanted to eat + coffee. They have WONDERFUL pastries. Priced well too!I love Lola Coffee... be sure to go! You will NOT regret it!!
Great vibe, really captures the essence of downtown Phoenix. Coffee was surprisingly really good and I cant get over their whipped cream. Will definitely stop by the next time Im in the area.
My experience at the downtown Phoenix location was not what I was expecting. As a first time customer and new permanent resident of Arizona, I was disappointed. I went on a Saturday morning, shortly after the coffee shop opened. The coffee shop inside was insanely busy, too many tables, and not enough space to ensure safe social distancing with adhering to COVID restrictions. There were people inside, masked and unmasked, and I personally felt very uncomfortable. Not only that, but I was attempting to work on an online course, and the noise inside was just awful, making it very hard for me to concentrate (even with my AirPods volume turned up). I am willing to give Lola Coffee another shot, but not on a busy Friday or Saturday. For now, 2 stars for the atmosphere/COVID restrictions. However, the food I ordered (breakfast burrito) and iced latte was exceptional... definitely 4.5-5 stars!
The service was awesome! So helpful! And the coffee was amazing! I got an iced coffee and my husband got an iced matador. Definitely will be going back!
Presenting exquisite pastries and an exceptional cup of the black liquid, you can expect a delicious cup every time. I would live in Portland Park just so I can walk to this place every morning. My only issue is of course with how busy this place gets, but who cares, coffees good, so stand and sip it is.
What we liked about this place are the very lovely staff and a very welcoming atmosphere. The coffee also that we ordered was very tasty and very satisfying. Thus, we enjoyed our stay here. If youre into reading while savoring a coffee, you could pick and read your favorite book to read. Thank you so much for welcoming us nicely!
Great little coffee shop with tasty drinks. Dog friendly inside was a plus!
Great coffee shop! Staff are super friendly and food and drinks are v good. In addition to coffee they also have teas and lemonade. They have patio seating out back as well. Parking on Roosevelt.Recommendations:Arnold Palmer (I get my sweetened). I think their tea is somewhat floral-y, and man itβs delicious. Refreshing but not overly sweet with their lemonade.Iced White Choc Mocha - small and medium come with 2 shots of espresso but they are happy to customize. Dairy alternatives available!Burritos - love their breakfast burritos! They have a BOTD or you can customize your own. I think theyβre huge and you could probably split one. Comes with salsa and sour cream.
Lola is hip, friendly, and fun. Baristas are so sweet and help you have a great experience. The coffee is excellent, fresh, and full bodied. The decorations in the shop and on the patio are lovely. Free parking is minimal (typical for the location), so plan ahead!
I have a particular taste and I look for it everywhere I go. I love supporting this shop and so I always stopped here and have a coffee. I also recommended this place to my friend. Many people use this shop as a meeting place or a work/study space because the place was convenient and the staff was so kind. Even myself, I always love to spend my free time here.
Let me start by saying WOW. My lovely wife took me here once, and BOOM. I love this coffee. Ive really only tried that white mocha, my usual go to.
I wanted to post a food pic but it looked so good i couldnt stop. i look forward to a return visit. the place has an awesome feel to it.
Awesome coffee and tea. Fresh lemonade is unbelievable if you like the real deal. Customizable breakfast sandwiches are perfect and very well sized for the price. Food comes much faster than most coffee shops. Nice baked goods. Inside can be a little noisy, but there is outside seating too. A favorite.
Lolaβs is my favorite coffee shop in the valley. Coffees and pastries are delightful - my favs are their cinnamon rolls (omygahh) and their scones! Hot items include their breakfast burritos (sooo good) and quiche. We like to grab a coffee and pastry, while taking a stroll over to the park on Sunday mornings. Friendliest folks in town, come visit them and enjoy the delicious treats and warm hospitality.
Nice people. Good coffee.
You guys got yourself another out-of-towner 5 stars. Nice find!
Delicious iced coffee. Small area, but that is no problem.
Not where we were going, but where we ended up. Not a lot of choices for someone like, with a billion food sensitivities/allergies, but some. Great dirty London Fog! Great little place with vinal and fun stuff.
Staff is always nice even when they have a full house. Bring your hunger - portions are generous. Kinda of like a restaurant in Los Angeles I loved to visit.
In love with my matador coffee regular with whipped Cream. The place was really clean and cozy. The best part I was able to enjoy my coffee with my love outside in the ramada.
Stopped by here because a local friend took me and coffee is amazing! Love the house made whip cream.
Very good iced lattes and the homemade pastries were delicious
Top notch local coffee shop I love the Matador chocolatey espresso drink with whipped cream if you have time grabbing omelette or breakfast sandwich you will not regret it the pastries are homemade and delicious
Will never go here again. Dont waste your time or money. π
This coffee place was very nice. The coffee was really good. I got a pour over and a document flat white and both were good.
Theyβre in the business of dirty politics, not coffee. Besides their coffee tastes like mud; even Dunkin is better!
Nice little coffee shop. I was working in the area so I decided to follow the smell of coffee and found Lola Coffee. I didnβt have any of the food but it looked good and the people eating it sure seemed like they were enjoying it. The staff was very nice and even though they were pretty busy everyone had a smile on their face and the service was excellent. I had a hot Carmel latte. It was delicious and a couple hours later I came back for a larger one.
Great breakfast items and baked goods.Pricy for regular coffee.
It was so tasty. definitely worth a return visit. makes me feel like i am back in tucson.
Cozy and intimate environment.
Nice vibe here. :)
Very cool place and fantastic tasting coffees, pastries and baked goods. Friendly staff and quick service. Comfortable place to sit, either inside or outside, have a cup and shoot the breeze.
