I have worn contacts for about 35 years and in that time I have been to many eye doctors and this place is the best! The front desk people, and the eye technicians are very professional and personable and you dont wait in the waiting room for very long at all. I cant say enough good about Dr. Frank! He literally changed my life. I have pretty bad vision and many doctors just told me thats the best its going to get. Dr. Frank took the time to figure out what was wrong, and got me into hybrid lenses that corrected my astigmatism and I saw stars as individual balls of light, not fuzzy lights in the sky for the first time I can remember. He took the time to get it right, and has seen me multiple times for a follow up after trying new contacts and not charged for it. Good people, doing good work, that charge a fair price. Great Place!

I have fine vision, so I dont generally see an eye doctor. I had a bad irritation in my right eye. Got an appointment same day, and Dr. Frank was terrific in his handling of my problem ( corneal abrasion). Had a follow up a few days later. My last insurance required me to visit a commercial vendor. I spent a ton of money for inferior exam and inferior frames/lenses. I can not find those glasses and that is ok. I tried to wear them and now who knows where they are. Okey. I will go back to Central Eye Care. Due to limited funds, I could not buy any glasses. But all be told, the Doctor took time to give me a thorough exam and listened to me. I just dont like the commercial buying process. Ive been a patient of Dr. Franks for over 5 years. I couldnt be more pleased with Dr Franks kindness and thoroughness. I found him to be personable and friendly while providing detailed eye care. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Frank to anybody needing eye care. They have up to date testing procedures with an extensive line of frames and contact lens. I have found the staff to be super helpful and friendly.

I had an eye emergency while on vacation in Phoenix the day before Thanksgiving. The office not only got me an appointment very quickly, but I also received exceptional service and treatment with Dr Mastores. I am very impressed and very grateful.

The service here was nice, but if you choose not to purchase their glasses, things turn sour. My prescription form was not completed because I didnt want to purchase my glasses from their office. I understand that they are missing out on money, but I paid for an incomplete exam. I would keep that information to yourself until the very end of your visit.

This is a great practice - the doctors provide high quality eye care and take the time to explain everything clearly. The opticians do a great job too. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. I used to go to a national chain, but started using Central Phoenix Eye Care several years ago. Its much better and it is surprisingly affordable.

Came in for my first eye exam in 10+ years, very professional but easy going environment and everyone seemed like they knew what they were doing. When I moved out of state and lost my paperwork and needed my exam results fast they emailed them to me within the hour, long story short couldnt be happier.

I came here on the recommendation of a friend. The staff was friendly and courteous, there was plenty of parking, Dr. Mastores put me at ease immediately and explained what was going on with my eye. They phoned in a prescription to my pharmacy that was waiting when I got there, and my issue was resolved in a day or so. The follow-up appointment that was available was a little late for my schedule, and I believe Dr. Mastores actually sacrificed her lunch hour to make it more convenient for me! Unbelievable level of service. Did I mention that they have Saturday hours?

Brought my son in for an exam and some new lenses. Dr. Stephanie M. Mastores was amazing! She was kind and explained everything in a way that us less medical savvy would understand. Ive been lucky to have near-perfect eyesight my entire life. But lately (age 49) found I wasnt seeing too well when reading, or in low light. The doctors and staff at Central Phoenix Eye Care were friendly, helpful, efficient and explained everything to me in a way I understood. I love going to Central Phoenix Eye Care. I started going there because they were close to work. Now I work farther away, but I still go take the time to drive over. They are worth the trip. I have never have had to wait more than a couple of minutes, even the one time I was late. Dr. Mastores is great, she and her staff explain everything clearly and treat you like a friend.

Overpriced. I have never had my insurance not cover a full exam. Yet, they didnt here. I paid over $200 out of pocket on the visit alone. They insisted I switch contact brands, even though I loved the brand I had. The brand they recommended I switch to tore very easily. I went through a 6 month supply in less than 2 months. I cant afford to pay full price for this brand for them to tear within one-two weeks.The only bright side was staff was friendly. Hence the 3 stars.

I have been visiting Dr. Frank for about 5 years now. They are up to speed with new technology (you do not have to get your eyes dialated with drops!) and Dr. Frank always takes his time with your exam and does a great job of explaining how the eye works. They have a beautiful frame selection to choose from although the frames I like are always outside of my price range. But, you can ask for your prescription and get them at the discount place if you are like me. The contacts are reasonably priced. I will continue to be a loyal patient.

I had an contact follow up. I wasnt on the schedule even though they gave me a reminder card the week before. Was 15 minutes late getting in from the time I was scheduled. Then the nurse had the wrong chart so I had to explain to her that I was only there for a follow up not because for the other reasons listed on someone elses chart. Then I waited 15 minute in the room at which point I left because the doctor still hasnt seen me. Save your time go somewhere else.

I have what most people would say special eyes. I have been wearing contacts since the fourth grade and glasses since I was two. I had been going to the same doctor my whole life and recently switched to Central Phoenix Eye Care because I felt as though my eyes were not being cared for properly. Appt at 10am. Doc came in the room at 1040 and was obviously rushed. Appt lasted all of 7 min and I left with a prescription that was less than what I came in with. When I asked the doctor she said it was the same. When they checked my glasses it was different. I asked another assistant to check again and she came back and said the same? Some discrepancies but I don’t think they are that big of deal? Nor did they apparently. They didn’t want to seem to get to the bottom of it so I left. Was there a total of 2 hours for 7 min of rushed work. MehFront desk staff was trying to help.

I set my self up with an appointment after reading several great reviews on line. The location is great as it is very close to my office. The staff is amazing and very friendly. I felt welcome as soon as I walked through the door. I downloaded and printed out the new patient forms from their website and brought them with me so the usual paperwork and waiting time was nearly non-existant. I am highly impressed with all of the high quality testing equipment they have on hand. They explained everything to me as we moved from test to test and I truly felt I was receiving the best care possible.I was curious about contacts and decided to go that rought seeing how my wife just got some herself (from somewhere else). I was absolutley amazed that I was putting my very own contacts in within 30 minutes of waking into their office. My wife had to wait 2 weeks to get her trial pair. I dont remember her name, but the woman who helped me in the fitting process was great. She was very patient with me, gave me several tips and stayed with me the whole time. It took me maybe 15 minutes to get the process down and she even brought out the Easy button when I managed to get them in and out a couple times. It was a great atmosphere and I felt like she truly cared. Where as, when my wife finally got her trial pair it took 30 minutes just to get someone to help her. The lady that attended my wife at this other place kept getting frustrated when my wife couldnt get her contacts in. She also left us unattended several times to go answer phones and chat with her associates. Not only did this place treat my wife like just another number or some bum off the streets, they also messed up her prescription. It has been nearly a month now and they have switched her trial lenses 3 times with no luck. This place had the nerve to tell my wife that she just needs to wait and give it time and her eyes will adjust. They still have not completed my wifes order and have already billed our insurance in full.My experience with Central Phoenix Eye Care was so outstanding that I convinced my wife to cancel her order with this other place and I have made her an appointment with Central Phoenix Eye Care. Not just my wife though, I set an appointment for my 5yr old daughter too! Within minutes of setting up my wifes appointment I received a call from CPEC and was informed that they would contact our insurance company and do everything possible to get our money refunded from the place that treated my wife so poorly.So, would I recommend Central Phoenix Eye Care? ABSOLUTLEY!!! I wish all medical facilities could be like them.
