Just came for the ice cream! Awesome and eclectic feel to the atmosphere. Good music and very interesting decor. The vibe here is a very chill and hip vibe. Staff mostly is great but, the young women at register needs help! She was doing a lot by herself: serving ice cream, making coffee drinks, calling out orders, and the register. The ice cream was delicious and using a Chinese takeout box is an awesome idea—especially topping it off with a fortune cookie! Great place.
Jobots used to be one of my goto places on Roosevelt. But ever since covid theyve gone a completely different direction and ruined the experience. 😕Went last week in the morning for some coffee and bacon. Place was empty, smelled funky, bad customer service, and terrible tasting bacon.I miss the old JoBot!
Literally stumbled into this place looking for something sweet. Wouldnt you know it, they have ice cream and sorbet. Hit the sweet spot and also grabbed a couple cocktails. Oh, and the coffee is good too! Literally has a little bit of everything so worth stopping by.
Started off a little rough as we had to wait a solid 10 min before getting our order in for drinks but the guy was alone and busy obviously this place is great. Visiting from out of town my husband and I were looking for a cool local spot to eat breakfast and have cocktails everywhere we went had a crazy wait but here we walked in, sat at the bar. The Chorizo crepes were delicious! Rad atmosphere and we could definitely notice from all the people coming in that this was the place to be. The kind of place where the staff knows who you are and genuinely enjoy serving their guests.
The thing I like about this coffee shop is the smell of espresso as you enter. They make generally excellent espresso and pleasant food. Their staff are satisfactory and strive to get consumer loyalty. And furthermore a decent spot for a quick chill. Overall is brilliant, and the view is stunning! Situated on the sea shore can be an incredible spot. I will return here for sure!
Nice place to chill. Looking forward to art nights on Wednesdays (I think thats the day)
Jobot has range.A good espresso drink and a donut? No problem.Or you can seriously step it up with Huevos Rancheros that will leave you planning a return visit before you’re done. There’s also great little waffles with fruit, or if it’s later in the day, a surprisingly good curry. Come back for a beer after work and some killer French fries. Or some craft ice cream. Or dim sum.And don’t forget to play the retro Ms. Pac-Man game while you listen to tunes... a lovely little spot in the Roosevelt Row neighborhood.
Ive visited Jobot off and on for the last two years and never have I enjoyed myself more than in the past few months. Some new staff members and a new Dim Sum menu has been difficult to resist going to every night. The best southeast Asian food Ive had in downtown Phoenix. (I grew up eating dim sum in AZ, and this is superb) Customer service is wonderful now and the food is in my top 3. Highly recommend 🥟🍜
Never coming back. Ordered a beer, Szechuan chicken & left tip. Rice was EXTREMELY crunchy meaning, they gave me the burnt rice that’s been sitting in the pan too long. The bartender told me herself when i gave it back and let them know how crunchy it was. The young skeletal, shaggy brown haired, pasty goth chick also tells me “Some rice is better than no rice” after I took her beer recommendation and left her a tip.I brought 4 other people here and they also were dissatisfied with the service and food. I’m highly disgusted. Higher better workers. Word of mouth moves fast in downtown Phoenix
This place is amazing. The beer selection is great (even though they lean toward darker beers). The late dimsum is great. But what makes this place is the decor. It is very artsy and amazing inside.
🍻Legit bohemian spot downtown and definitely worth a stop by for just the amazing beer list. Great vibe in here awesome music and they usually have a DJ spinning on the weekends. Nice patio and they are super dog friendly both inside and outside., ✌️
Great coffee and chai, good food with generous portions, and a friendly staff that gave me some places to check out since Im new to the neighborhood.
Ive been a patron here more than a few times and each time the vibe is hospitable and open. Chill vibe for work or conversation; art decor for connoisseurs and even a claw game. The coffee and food are spectacular - I would expect the same from the beer (have yet to enjoy). Food quality reflects its price, and the drip coffee is way better tasting than one would expect for its price. The new location is so, so rad right on the southeast corner of 3rd STREET and Roosevelt. I emphasize the street because its easy for newcomers to confuse the streets with the avenues, even some not-so-newcomers considering abbreviated forms of road names. Uh so ... I digress. The best parking is in the structure thats shared with the Roosevelt Point apartments just further south on 3rd, bear in mind this will be a one way road and is most easily accessed from any part of the city using the I-10 highway. There is an off ramp just for 3rd Street from the interstate.Okay thats all from me. Enjoy these pictures of the Jorito and Green Chili Crepes, respectively; and enjoy some local art.
Great atmosphere, barista knows what she is done doing the coffee is great. Food is great as well.
Definitely an alternative place.. weird decorations and vibe, wasn’t for me. It’s like a Chinese food/bar/ice cream place. We just got ice cream and it was yummy! Place was pretty dirty though, and crammed.
Jobot is one of my favorite spots to hang out downtown any time of day. Every single food item Ive gotten there has been delicious! The short ribs are amazing and they have great bacon! Coffee is delicious, its a bit bright for my dark tastes, but it is a really good coffee. They make an amazing Irish coffee too! And both me and my kids absolutely love the table top Pacman!
You have my wholehearted and unequivocal endorsement! I am a customer of yours, and I am very pleased with the services you do. Your colleagues were very courteous and considerate. They were both capable of following customer orders in a timely manner. Its a soothing and pleasurable sensation. This coffee shop is perfect for anyone seeking solitude.
This place has been a favorite for years! Great coffee and amazing food. I love the new location!
Jobot Coffee has the Best Dirty Chai in Downtown Phoenix. Beers on tap, delicious ice cream with vegan options, and must-have dim sum until 11:30PM T-W-TH & midnight F-S.
Man the food here was great! Cam here fore breakfast and got a HUGE burrito and a pretty bomb dirty chai. They were accommodating to my GF to put her burrito in a bowl without the tortilla. Only issues we had with the place was the really loud music, so bad we couldnt hold a conversation, and the lady at the register was emotionless, just took our order and was gone (prob cuz the music, too).
Service was ok but they were unaware of the type of beer on tap when we asked about a few. The beers we ordered were completely flat and not drinkable so we just left them (around $7 per beer). Fruit flies were everywhere and overall the place was really dirty. Cant you think of another place to store empty milk crates and empty kegs? Sad because we had been here awile back and it was much different. Go elsewhere if looking for beer or spirits as there are tons of options nearby
Great dim sum, fried rice and apple rose herbal tea! Dont forget to wrap it up in artisan sorbet or Aztec chocolate for dessert. Thanks to John and Krystal for keeping the Jobot fresh.
Great late night fare in downtown PHX.
Spacious, solid WiFi, great service and coffee is good. What more do we need? They have a table of cards/brochures/local stuff and that was helpful for my visiting self. They have a few TVs and the games were on, if you’re into that. Several people were here on a Saturday afternoon working on their laptops — I liked the vibe a lot
I really wanted so badly to like this place! But I have to say I’m really disappointed. I love love love the atmosphere and decor. But the food and ice cream were truly disappointing. I got two different appetizers (dim sum) and an entrée (beef Szechuan) to try a little bit of everything. All three items were swimming in oil. When I tried to take a bite of anything it felt like a fruit gusher exploding in my mouth except in this case it was an oil explosion of a fight now. Extremely unappetizing! The ice cream wasn’t anything to write home to mom about either. I got the pistachio cherry and I would say that it tasted more like bland frozen sugar than a creamy, ice cream experience. I decided to give the place 2 stars because I really do love the atmosphere. I think it would be nice to come back for an alcoholic beverage or coffee sometime for sure.
Do not recommend this place. The food was not cooked correctly, eggs over medium had no runny yolk and the scrambled eggs were runny. The music was loud and offensive.
They literally make you pay before you get your food which by the way was absolutely terrible and the service was not good the coffee was terrible also i do not recommend this place. How can you screw up eggs?
I had the strawberry crepe, and fried potatoes. Excellent! The crepe filled the plate, and toped with cteam cheese. One of the best crepes Ive eber had. 😋
Great atmosphere and service. With a sweet selection of beer and other refreshments, delicious food and friendly staff this place has it going on! The art and decorations make it a comfortable place to hangout and talk or even get some work done(I havent done any work here but every time Im there I see a few people on laptops, going at it) since moving locations its only gotten better! Yeah!
I onced loved this place, but you guys keep switching up. Should have kept your waffle fries and chicken curry, now its oriental theme which is cool but when i order a spring roll, i get some clear wrap with lettuce avacodo and some type of noodle wrapped inside. (Not what a spring roll is supposed to be) smh very disappointed.
Great place has everything. Ice cream, coffee, beer and dim sum. One of the best spots in downtown Phoenix
Got the nitro brew, chilled for a few hours working on school work and then had some delicious lunch. Super pleased overall, recommended to me by a friend! The beef is amazing
Fantastic food and drink! Older place and not fancy at all, but friendly faces and great food!
One of my favorite places on Roosevelt Row. Its solid each and every time.
Always a great place to hang out. Especially if youre a local downtowner trying to hang out at an odd hour for some beer, food and or coffee.
A little rough around the edges, but a good spot to have a coffee and a snack. Fast wifi and friendly staff. Didn’t find anything spectacular with respect to the food - mediocre at best for the price. But appreciated that it wasn’t too busy and there was a funky playlist going. Good place to sit with a laptop and watch the colourful people go by.
A great place to stop when your downtown!! A++
Good customer service. Staff is very kind and provide good services. Food was also tasty. Thank you!!!!!!
If you need a spot to sit down on a comfy couch, and catch up a few things on your laptop while you wait for your ice cold latte. This could be your new favorite hangout spot.
This place makes me so happy. Dont miss the Asian menu. So delicious. Chicken wings are a must.
I ordered my usual drink, a 16-ounce nonfat mocha. I pay $4.25 at Starbucks but I was charged $7.33 here. Coffee was good but the price was outrageously high.
It was alright. Their ice cream was good
We have never been to this town before and were looking for somewhere to get a snack and coffee and cake. This coffee shop looked inviting ( and they did toasties, which is always a bonus in my book!) There was plenty of choice on the menu, and the servers are very friendly, and helpful. The prices were also incredibly reasonable.
An absolute must in our downtown neighborhood of phoenix! its where every type of individual meets and creativity is encouraged. the menu is absolutely amazing and extremely affordable!I will be a joboter for as long as jobot is joboting!!!I am happy they exist., 🖖
Cold brew coffee was excellent, food was good, really liked the vibe, not pretentious or stuffy, a great patio too. Definitely my kind of place.
Best latte Ive had in years! Awesome atmosphere too.Update: sadly the last 2 times have been bad experiences. The coffee tasted like just milk and they were blasting Cardi B and the B-52s so loud I couldnt hear myself think.. if thats your thing then there ya go.. yikes lolIll leave it at 3 stars and give it one more try.
Vanilla Affogato was good. The mix of smells threw me off at the counter. A very unique space.
This place is the greatest. The staff is so polite and cool. The customer service is fantastic. Make sure to stop in for great coffee drinks, ice cream or food. You will not be disappointed!
Their sim sum was great
Great neighborhood place. Super friendly staff, good food and drinks. Not fancy, very laid back.
Laid-back environment with personable staff and a decent selection of reasonably priced drinks and vegetarian food options.
My family and I love this spot! Great drinks and a nice vibe.
My bfs usual place for coffee. Been going with him now that I moved to Phoenix
This place is really dope. The staff is both awesome and chill. The location is perfect. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, with plugs in both places (if I saw the outdoor seating correctly) if you need to work. The drinks and food are delicious ESPECIALLY the mushroom toast. I don’t know how they came up with that recipe, but I could eat it all day everyday if need be. Can’t wait to return.
Outstanding food. Ordered half the menu in one sitting, everything was perfect. Cant wait to go back. Gorgeous interior, loved the low-key vibe
The food was great and beer selection was really nice. Not too loud to have a conversation and they have a 2 player miss pacman
Two words: Matcha Latte. Hands down the best I’ve had, and I’ve had my fair share. Oh, and those breakfast potatoes. Can’t forget about those! Great food, delicious ice cream, a bar, coffee and a great patio downtown - what more could you ask for?
Got asked why Im reading the bible... barista fell asleep 1.5 seconds after I started to explain. Music sounded like Orc battle songs. But hey, free refills on cofffeeeeeeee.
Bar food, yeah, super good. the staff was friendly and observant. this place has many great reviews for a reason.
Nice coffee shop in the downtown area!
Service wasn’t nice…There are no prices on the menu andI was charged $7 for a medium latte with oat milk.
Had an affogato with bits of paper in it. Almost threw up. Otherwise though it tasted great. The decor was a little strange, but Im sure some people love it!
Went in for a coffee, ordered a 16oz Sunrise. It’s advertised on the board for $4.25. The total came to over $7. I inquired as to why, which the employee responded they recently had a price increase and their prices listed did not reflect that. This is false advertising. I cannot believe they would charge their customers ‘new’ prices without disclosing it up front. Not a place I can trust going forward.
Great place. Great food. Great staff. Awesome vibe. You cant go wrong with Jobot. Its the driendly neighborhood spot I never knew I needed.
The food was excellent and the staff is always friendly. I highly recommend coming here to have a great time.
Waitress was great but the waiter made us feel like we were being interrogated when he showed up after our order was already in. Chai latte was good but dumplings were meh and possibly undercooked.
Definitely miss the old Jobots! This trip I ordered a dirty chai, I was a little disappointed as my drink barely had any spice or flavor.
I visited for the first time yesterday and had the Chai tea latte. It was sweet and frothy and delicious! I also tried the seared pork dumplings. The sauce was a bit pickled but the dumplings were tasty on their own :) It was around 4-5pm and was quite busy so Id recommend ordering ahead or grab and go rather than hanging out inside if your COVID conscious.
I love the fruit Crepes with nutella drizzle.🍓🍓🍒🍒🍑🍑🍊🍊🥭🥭🍍🍍🍌🍌🍋🍋🍈🍈🍏🍏🍐🍐🥝🍏🍏🍑🍑🍑
The dim sum and natural wine was amazing! They have such a great vibe and awesome staff!! I love having such a unique space in the neighborhood that adds so much character!!
Funky place, down to earth vibe
Its a cool location but the coffee was overpriced and not that good. Also my cappuccino was waaaay small. The seating is nice but the music was really loud and annoying when I just wanted to go on a nice little coffee date.
This place is better than when it was down the road (I had given it 1-star). That old shop did not use clean practices, was expensive and had bad coffee. After the move, the coffee seems to have improved a little. Unfortunately, the little envelope they put your baked goods into is open on two sides, unlike literally everywhere else. Instead of handing it over, he placed the cookie flat on the counter. I grabbed my drink and with the other hand pinched what I believed to be the opening to lift it up, but the cookie rolled out the side and onto the ground. He gave me a welp, that sucks look, and thats it. Pretty annoying.
Ive been going to this Cafe since it was in the location that hood rides used to be in its kind of like a last hangout for the old local crowd but within a new modern condo and they have free high-speed Wi-Fi password: tipyourbartender
