The Arizona Highways gift shop is Arizonas friendly convenient retail store for framed artwork, the Arizona Highways magazine issues, calendars, postcards and unique gifts and well-written books covering travel and adventure and the sites to experience in Arizona. From Wiki, the magazine began in July 1921 by the Arizona Highway Department (now the Arizona Department of Transportation) as a 10-page pamphlet ...then (as a) magazine April 15, 1925.... travel tales, historical stories, and humor about the state of Arizona ...legendary photography. Friendly helpful staff.

Kind of a small shop, but lots of Arizona gifts and info. My fave part was seeing this book by Ann Empie!

My son and I stop by to pick up some souvenirs, the lady behind the counter was fantastic and help helpful, she even offered us free magazine with interesting sites to visit. Yes she was doing her job she was great at it.

Very nice shop. True in keeping to the values and the mission of the magazine. Varied offerings, some seasonal, all priced reasonably, and NO trinkets or tchotchkes (sp). Always an enjoyable visit.

Was able to transport the reader to the beutiful sceneries captured and laid out in every pages of the magazine, even when that reader is thousand miles away from arizona. Long live Arizona Highways! Hopefully I can visit you soon in reality.
