What a great little shop. Its about 4 tiny aisles packed with Japanese trinkets and snacks and drinks etc. Most things are $1.50, some are more. They have a better selection and prices than the grocery aisles or World Market. They also play uptempo Japanese music, were definitely going back.
Amazing store! There are so many cool items for only 1.50$! The food is delicious and everything is so cute. My only complaint is that I wish it was open more!
Super cute. First time in on limited time so I only got to explore 1/3 of the store. Got some cute rice bowls to replace some broken ones and then snacks for the kids. Will be back!
Such a cool store!! Everything is $1.50 unless marked with a different price. There’s cute dishes like sake sets, tiny coffee cups. They have cool Japanese snacks. There’s stationary, hair accessories and even pet accessories. There’s much more in this small store that I’ll be back to look again. It is small inside and so is the parking lot but that didn’t bother me as it is a Japanese concept store. Cutie is definitely worth checking out!
My favorite store! Their selection of kitchenware and stationery is wonderful, and their skincare is pretty decent as well. Id shop here every day if I could!
First time here. Didnt get any pics. Was to excited to see everything. Love this store. So many ideas. Just need make a list before going, other wise Ill over spend. Definitely recommend this store. 👍👍
Great place to purchase stationery items and other knick-knacks for those stocking stuffers or as birthday presents. Both locations in the valley has their pluses and minuses on which inventory they have in stocked.
Always fell so welcome when we go to the store. Good customer service love it.
It definitely has more Japanese/Asian selections with more reasonable prices compared to a local grocery chains little Asian section. The 40lb sack of rice is a great deal! It has a lot of kawaii items. Just be mindful that the aisles are narrow and you do have to carry a shopping basket (not a full cart). So its best to go in without bulky stuff on you (ex. backpack, baby stroller). They are eco-friendly (use boxes for bulk items, instead of plastic bags). I would encourage to bring your own reusable bag, too. 🌸😉🎏
Best freaking little japanese $1.00 store i mean they have things from dishes to office supplise to even food like ramen and candy and drinks and even icecream other than a small parking lot its one of my faveriote stores everyones friendly and nice and helpful to alot of the stuff has english labels so you can understand what you are buying
I really liked this store! They had a lot of different items inside for such a small location. And everything being $1.50 (unless otherwise stated. The only thing I saw that wasn’t $1.50 was face mask) is so awesome. We came here and got so many things! I wish there was a location closer but it was worth the drive.
It is a cute place with lots of adorable and unique things to buy.
My daughter wanted to try this store out. You wont be disappointed! The snacks we bought are very tasteful. We will go again.
I love cutie they have all the best snacks and I absolutely love their art supplies
A treasure trove of Japanese housewares and snacks. We were able to find many useful things for around the house. Love having a Hyaku-yen store close by again!
Novelty food like popin cooking. Japanese stationary and other items. All items are $1.50 unless marked otherwise. Try the seaweed chips. So tasty!
This store is essentially a dollar store, though with the not unusual caveat that some things cost a tad bit more than a dollar. The place has a nice selection of Japanese goods, including some things that arent easily found in the United States, at least not without buying online at inflated prices. Considering that the prices here are close to the prices these things would cost in Japan, this place is a great value and highly recommended if you want Japanese things like bento boxes, curry or Ramune melon soda. Just mind the parking lot, its not particularly big and the entrance is easily overlooked if youre not attentive.
Small store with a good wide range of selection that honestly amazed me. Like i even saw washable slippers!! Oh and they are so far the ONLY store that sells DYDO brand coffee! Ive checked out many other stores and only this place has it!
First place I went after being fully vaccinated! SO fun! Most items are $1.50 - got kitchen gear, toys and fettuccine gummies!
Went here to check it out and came out of the store with a car full of Japanese sodas and snacks.
I LOVE this store! So many cute and unique items! My absolute only complaint/suggestion would be that theyre only open for 4 hours a day.. (10am-2pm).
Cutie is exactly what this shop is! Love it! So many interesting items in here that everytime I go theres something new! So easy to spend on things that I dont need but are to cool to pass up 🙂
Everything is so cute and almost everything is 1.25
Thanks to Tik Tok I actually found this place not too long ago and it is the most cutest little shop ever. I highly recommend it, if youre looking for a cute Japanese things like snacks, utensils, skin care products etc.
Fantastic selection, completely unique from the usual things youd find in the states. Well stocked and friendly staff as well! Will definitely be a regular spot for us from now on, can only hope they continue to expand and add more stores!
Great find! Lots of cute things: snacks, drinks, housewares, beauty products and more. While everyone wore masks, it is a small store and today it was very crowded. Next time Ill come during a week day hoping its less crowded.
Really nice staff, kinda small but over all Really cute.
Fun little store for trinkets. It is very small so it can be hard to browse when it is busy. Prices are great. Just about everything is $1.50 unless otherwise noted.
I love this place! It definitely reminds me of the 100 yen stores in Japan. I can go here every week and spend way too much money!
Super cool store, EVERYTHING is a Japanese product. Lots of good products and especially for $1.50 for most products. I came back twice in one day, it was that good. Told my friends and now they’re all fans now too.
This is an absolute must go to if you like anything Japan, they have a good selection of snacks and a interesting and wide variety of random household knick knacks. YOU GOT TO CHECK IT OUT!
My little girl went crazy 🤪 is a small store but have a cute things.
Love this place. Yes Daiso products only cost 100 yen in Japan...but thats in Japan! >.< The prices are fair for their long journey and still very cheap. I got a boiled egg timer here that would normally run you $3-$7 anywhere else. There are usually some traditional dollar store plastic bins for sale that you could find somewhere else for less, but at least you dont have to pick through them all to find a semi clean one.
This is a fantastic place! First time there today and spent 90 minutes looking around. Bought so many good things. love all the kitchen gadgets and stationary. Im stocked up on munchies now. Will be back soon. Whitney greeted me warmly as I walked in. She is so friendly and bubbly. Best experience ever!
I love their snacks (≡^∇^≡)
Love this place!! Whenever I get the chance, I always go to see whats new. Friendly customer service. Never get tired of going. For newcomers, everything is $1.50 unless otherwise marked. Has Japanese products from Daiso. Dont underestimate, come with time to spare even though its rather small. The first time I took 2 hours browsing and many dollars spent. Love this place and forever will.
Wonderful! Following mask and social distancing policies. This place is always a joy!
Cute little Japanese shop with snacks, gadgets, and snacks.
I’ve only been here a couple of times because I live on the other side of the valley, but already I love this place. They have such unique fun items, and a lot of them despite the size of the store. Really great finds for $1.50 and under. However the highlight of shopping at cutie is the service. The cashier is so sweet, bubbly, and bright. This little store is a treasure.
Perfect little shop for all your unique needs. Loved it. Will absolutely be going again.
This is THE BEST place to get all your japanese goods. been a customer of cutie phoenix for about 3 years now and i havent regretted splurging there ONCE. Only complaint I have is the unmanagable store hours that are in place as of right now but I hope that is due to change as everything passes. I also hope this establishment doesnt go out of business because this Cutie is the highlight of Phoenix for sure. Please do what you can to continue this business running for generations to come.
Love all the items for over seas. Everything is $1.50 or price differently.
I really love this store, not only they have all the selection you need also they have wonderful customer service! Especially Cashier lady is super super nice and I’m big fan of this store already 😻 very homing warm atmosphere. Good selection of food too. We’ll definitely come back!
Love, love this store. You get a good bargain for things you didnt need and things you didnt even think needed or existed. If you like anything cute this is the store to go to. I like to browse so it was a no brainier.I was really taken with the broad selection of products. I went in for some origami paper and left with a cute pill case for my vitamins. Went in for a some Daiso paper clay and came back with some dog tooth brushes.Whether you go in for a look or to get something in particular you wont leave without buying at least one item.Special thanks to the guys at the store! They were super friendly and ready to help with anything. Customer service alone is worth the five stars.
Japanese Daiso stuff for $1.50.
This has become my new favorite store to go to! They have a huge variety of products and food items and everything is only $1.50. Also, any item that I have purchased so far has been of great quality, much better quality than something from any of the dollar stores. You would be amazed by some of the things you will find at such a great price. Check it out! I promise you will like it!
Neat little shop
Just like Japanese dollar stores in Japan..all the fun things I wanted to bring back but could not fit in my suitcase. Containers, dishes, tea, stationary, food, toilet seat covers! And the service was Japanese quality as well. The lovely lady working the register was wonderful. Greeted every customer coming in. Shared enthusiasm for the adorable stationary and plugged new store in Mesa. I would have thought she was the owner given her sense of pride in the place. Also...young gentleman stocking the shelves moved to another section to be out of my way as I pondered ocha options.
Very small so crowded you could barley shop, mesa location is so much better
I love this little gem of a store. You can find unique Japanese treats and treasures. I have found great kitchen items too.
Such a fun place! Love their selection of cute bowls and cups. They have so many Japanese items from kitchen to office and beauty. Theres also snacks and foods. Staff is also very friendly.
Adorable store. We just blew almost $80 in there, and I couldve bought more. They said they get new stuff every Tuesday, I cant wait to go back asap!!!
Had a good experience. The prices are good. Average for a nail salon! Good service. Much better than the other nail salon right nearby (pretty nail I think?)
One of Phoenix’s gems. This place is so cute, so much personality in such little space. The girl who works there is so nice and helpful. I been bringing everyone I know here and they love it too!
Fun store. Everything is $1.50. They only carry Daiso products made in Japan and some from China. Their merchandise assortment is similar to the dollar store, but they have better products. Clever items like no staple-staplers, multi function can opener, sushi makers, egg molds. Worth the trip
Never a dull moment with all there is to look at. Youll definitely find something to make your life easier or more fun. Good quality too for the most part. Favorite find: adult sized lunch utensil pack that collapses including chopsticks, fork, and spoon.
Be warned, everything is extremely cute and it’s easy to spend too much with the amazing pricing. Amazing selection and super nice staff.
Such a cool place! They have all kinds of different stuff for only a $1.50 and the cleanest store Ive ever been to.
Best local japanese shop in the whole state! Absolutely amazing with everything priced and $1.50 unless marked otherwise. 10/10 would recommend
Loved the little store! They have a good collection of novelties and the lady at the counter was sooo nice. Cant wait to go back!
Lots of awesome finds at good prices
I loved it! It was full of great items and the staff was very nice!
Cool snack foods, just VERY small and crowded on weekends.
I absolutely love coming in here! Always a warm welcome and they have the best customer service ♥️ love their products and workers
Cant find the store. Open odd hours.
We love this fun neighborhood store. We love all the fun snacks and interesting items the store has to offer at such great prices. Whitney is so sweet and always happy to see her customers.
I absolutely LOVE this place. This dollar tree prices (most items are $1.50) but HIGH QUALITY! All the time you find new products, many you cant find unless you go online and pay for unfair shipping prices. Everything I buy I adore and gets put to good use. Whether you need school supplies, cookware A-Z, gifts, food & snacks, hobbies, toys, beauty & health, household items, craft supplies, and of course traditional Japanese items. I stop in every chance I get. And my biggest worry is when I check out with a FULL basket yet my jaw drops when I see how low the total comes out to. Some may wonder, yes, they cary many DIASO products. Everyone will always find something they love no matter who you are. I am a loyal customer and always will be!
Love this place! All kinds of treasures. So much packed into this small store. Whitney is so helpful! I go for the face masks, seaweed assortment and arm covers. kids love the snax.
I found this little shop about 2 months ago by accident, next thing I know ill be visiting once a week with my whole family, everything is so cute and at such a great price. Love it. Only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is I Wish it had more selection and toys and clothing items.
Its basically a tiny Daiso. For the uninitiated - Japanese $1.50 store. Most items are $1.50 unless otherwise marked. Quite the variety of items. Kitchen, stationary, hygiene, food. This one looks strange on the outside. Definitely an older building. Clean, staff was very nice and helpful. I would maybe add a better description to the outdoor sign as to attract more of the right people? I half expected it to be an adult video.
This place is super cute! I love all the authentic Japanese products and all the snacks. They have amazing things for a great price! The things there are for $1.50 unless it’s marked. The concept is super adorable but they’re in such a small space! They should open up in a larger space since they were still getting things shelved when I came.Definitely coming back again
Love this place. I take my daughters here to purchase Japanese dollar store items. Its a fun time that does not cost too much while allowing us trying new Japanese snacks.
Definitely come here! Even if you dont need anything you will easily find something you didnt know ever existed. And you can get everything you want and still walk out spending very little money.
Interesting, very interesting. This place is a fun, clean dollar store except most of the items cost $1.50. There are a few higher priced items but very few. It will be hard to leave this place without finding a few trinkets you just have to have. Although the theme of the store is Japanese, everything is made in China.
This is such a cute little store. Most of the items are 1.50 unless it says otherwise. Our cashier was really funny and nice. Will definitely go again.
I absolutely adore this place!!! It is a bit small but the japanese trinkets, tools, and snacks are so great and definitely worth more than their $1.50 price but theyre still thankfully that price! I am so glad to have a Daiso in AZ
Love this new authentic quality products from Japanese $1.50 store! Go. Bring money and a gift list -you can find everything here, knives, socks, art supply big savings, disposable panties, llama totes bags, its just endless. The sales lady I have met is very kind and helpful.
Recently got back from a trip to Japan and I can confirm a lot of the same things we saw in Daiso (Japanese dollar store) we also saw here. I love the canned coffee and snacks. Expect some usual dollar store fare with a Japanese twist. Some really interesting and cool kitchen utensils.
Its a mini Daiso... really cute finds here!
Absolutely cute and pretty decent quality products! The staff was also friendly; they greeted me and gave me a shopping basket. This is a must for anyone interested in Japanese culture/pop culture!
Great daiso store. Everything is 1.50. Kind of like a Japanese dollar store. Some things are less. A variety of everything from candy to toys and baking utensils. Must go to explore.
Adorable place! This place has a great selection of items: gifts, beauty products, kitchen items, crafts, snacks and more! All for $1.50 unless marked. The items are from a genuine Japanese dollar store called Daiso. The owners are also super sweet and helpful. I recommend you give this amazing little shop your business!
We have been to Japan and had the best trip ever. This store cutie feels exactly like Japan! We absolutely love it and all the cool stuff there. We Will be back!
It is a convenience store there are not really Kawaii stuff here.... I go in for snacks and such.
I searched Daiso in Google Maps and I was surprised when anything at all popped up in Arizona. This is a small Japanese dollar store (everything $1.50) that is jam packed with all kinds of imports from Japan. There are fun edibles and drinks, cleaning supplies, art and office supplies, cute toys and cooking and baking supplies. Dont be fooled by the small storefront! There are so many things to see just one visit wont do-- youll be sure to see things on subsequent visits that you didnt notice the first time.Well be back as soon as our paycheck allows it, because this store has much to offer!
I come here almost everyday and dont regret the time and money I have spent in there. The employees are so nice and the prices are cheap!! This is by far my favorite place to shop 💖💖
Ive passed this place so many times but only recently went inside within the last half year. It was so worth it. Im always looking for a place to get snacks and they carry my favorite shrimp snacks for a lot cheaper than the Asian markets down in Mesa! (And got me totally hooked on the Yuzu and Black Pepper ones like dang). I also love the Karamucho chips and the Yuzu soda they carry which are also cheaper than Asiana and Mekong. They also carry some of the kitchen supplies Ive been needing to restock on for a great price. They also carry pretty good art products for the price! They recently started carrying alcohol markers and Im still testing those out, but they work as well as the off brand ones Ive been using for a few years. ALSO. THEY CARRY ORIGAMI PAPER. And a lot of it with really cute patterns! Again for really cheap! They also have some really cute supplies for bullet journaling so its pretty worth it to check it out.
Cutie has a lot of stuff from Daiso, a Japanese one dollar shop. Although the store is small, you can find many useful, cute and fun things. While I like the store, their restroom was out of order. I do not know how long it has been. I asked if there is any in the area. I was expecting them to let me use one for employees. Instead, I was told to DRIVE to a gas station.
So cute. Came for origami paper and left with so much more. I definitely recommend checking it out for cute items from Japan.
The customer service is great the employees here make you feel cared for as a customer. Very cozy environment, would definitely like to come back soon. Many fun products to look at.
What a great lil hidden gem!! My 12yr old granddaughter loves this place!! Almost everything is $1.50. things nobody needs and things your didnt know you needed!! Love it!!
I love this place! They carry very good quality items. Some random amazing items. I could spend hours here.
