From the first moment of the rental process to the great running vehicle and finally the drop off process, all exceeded my expectations. The manager was very informative and all customer service skills were totally satisfying. I will definitely rent from them again and I encourage you to also!

Beyond incompetent. Upon pick up of 26’ truck, mileage and fuel level incorrect. Advised a female staff member who said she would fix the issues…. NOPE! Returned after hours and self checkin would not process due to mileage discrepancy not being fixed as promised. Then, I got billed extra costs for returning after hours… say what? The staff at this place are a joke and beyond incapable of executing their job responsibilities. None of them are an asset to your company and should be terminated. Hire people that keep their promises and know what they are doing.

The truck we had Reserve was an hour late being returned, so we had to wait. Then I called complain and the lady tried to tell my reservation was for 11am not 10am. When it came in it was dirty and not cleaned. When reserved I requested a dolly, although I was not charged for it, it was not in the truck. Then instead of returning it to the U-Haul one mile from our new house in Mesa, the lady asked me to return it to Tempe and said the extra miles would be included, because they needed a 15 foot truck in Tempe. I agreed, the next day U-Haul charged me for the extra miles. I have used U-Haul many many times and never had a complaint. This time whats unacceptable, but hey the truck didnt break down so theres that.

Rented a small uhaul to empty a 5×7 storage. Drove it a total of 20 miles. Put $15 (5 gallons) gas in it. Gas gauge didnt move. Went to return it. Uhaul staff said we didnt cover the gas used and she was going to charge us. Showed receipt, argued. Was basically told that its the policy and it doesnt matter. Went to gas station, put one gallon more gas - gas gauge jumped to full (up a quarter tank). The gas gauge was stuck, like we said. Cost me time and money, which, no big deal. However the way the staff treated us over it is a big deal. I will use another location in the future, ive never had problems with uhaul previously.

Rich was GREAT! I called him the day before my trailer hitch installation and he answered all my questions with complete confidence and earned all my trust immediately, which was important since he’d be drilling into my vehicle. I dropped my car off really early so there were few Uber’s on the road to take me to work so I rented a uhaul van to drive and it was incredibly clean. I was impressed there was availability seeing as it was a Friday. Every aspect of the experience was exceptional and I recommend this location to everyone! Thank you Rich!

All the employees at this location were incredibly helpful and kind. So nice with the times that they are to walk into your center. The first girl that helped me with my reservation was a wealth of information and a true asset to your team.

Just wasted 30 minutes on the phone trying to pay a bill. Store didnt pick up, call center guy couldnt take payment. Clowns.

Mr. Silva was dope, my brother in law and I came in to purchase a cargo van so we could U-haul or new BBQ grill home. Alexandro complimented on my Nintendo 64 T-shirt. We have a couple of laughs then he sent us on our way. If we ever need a cargo van or any other U-haul transportation for that matter, Mr.Silva will be the man we call.Thank you,Chris Long

Did not give receipt when buying boxes( half we did not use) and got overcharged for mattress cover.

The staff is extremely helpful IN PERSON, however trying to get someone to answer the phone here is ridiculous! I waited over 30 minutes once and the next morning when they opened, I waited 10 minutes. Needless to say, I hung up both times.

Quick, clean, easily accessible

When I 1st rented the truck this pass Sunday Mason was great .. Only problem was I’m missing pictures and I have called them since Monday 10-21-19 and have repeatedly asked them to check and see if they where left inside the truck or falling behind between the seats and yet I have even went back to them and asked and all they tell me is the general manager will contact me the next day it’s Friday and still no response !!! This was my 1st time ever using u-haul and I choose the one on 19th ave n Dunlap I will never use them or u-haul ever again!!!!!

U-HAUL IS MORE THAN A STORAGE UNITWAS ANYONE MADE AWARE THAT HOMELESS PEOPLE OCCUPY STORAGE UNITS TO LIVE IN BEFORE YOU SIGNED YOUR CONTRACT.I HAVE SPOKEN TO JEFF THE STORE MANAGER AND RUSS BALDWIN REGIONAL MANAGER. NEITHER SEEMED CONSERNED FOR THE LIVING CONDITIONS OF THESE PEOPLE NOR CONCERNED FOR THE SAFETY OF OTHER PEOPLE WHO USE THIS FACILITY FOR WHAT ITS SUPPOSED TO BE USED FOR STORAGE!I ASKED BOTH MANAGERS IF THEY KNEW THIS WAS GOING ON FIRST I WAS TOLD NO THEN YES THEN NO AGAIN. SOMETHING SMELLS FISHY HERE.

I just rented a truck and trailer from Rico at this location. The check out process went really smoothly and he was full of pro tips including the suggestion to not hook up the car & trailer to the truck until after we were done loading the truck. He was really knowledgeable, and explained the extra coverage insurance well enough that I decided to spend the extra $ just in case something unexpected happened. He also helped me figure out how many blankets Id need to pack up my stuff safely and was able to rent them to me - the best part is that I can turn them in when I arrive at my destination! No need to keep a ton of expensive moving blankets around and my stuff all gets there safely! He was great and I would 100% recommend renting from this UHaul location. Talk to Rico if you can!

The vehicle was clean, but the windshield was very dirty. I signed to pick up without staff because of CoVid. I had to interact with staff both on the pickup and the return. Their system (which usually works well) let me down this time.

Not a good experience. They were able to beat Penske and because I have always done business with uhaul, I decided to go with them. First thing that went wrong was that the original trucks check engine light came on after we had already loaded stuff into it. This location didnt have another truck so we had to go to another location where they didnt help us with any of our stuff.The other thing is that I had requested a dozen furniture pads since Penske was throwing them in for free, and I was told that uhaul would include them as well. They never put them on the order form and when I asked for them, not a single location in my area had any.After having to drive all over town and back and forth for a whole bunch of mistakes that uhaul made, we lost easily 4 or 5 hours of valuable packing time and ended up being unable to clean our apartment before we left because we were so strapped for time.On top of everything, I was told that the manager would be contacting me to discuss a partial refund for the inconvenience and time lost before our out of state move to Oregon, and of course I have heard nothing.The only reason that I didnt give a one star is because the store employees were especially sweet and tried to help us the best they could given the circumstances.

Rented a 10ft truck for a few hours. They forgot about theb dolly which we didnt notice until we got to our location, but Radrico the manager corrected the bill without any hassle at all. In fact, it seems he goes out of his way to get to know his customers which tells me he wants repeat business. I would go back here for storage needs as well, if ever I need to. This is a Uhaul location worth recommending.

Many mistakes with my mothers arrangements, plus not to mention being double billed. But once they realized the mistakes she was credited and bigger unit. So no mistakes overall after that but awkward location but not bad overall.

Waited 40 minutes to get a propane tank filled. I should have left, but I was next in line . . . Until they skipped right over me and made me wait even longer. Even though I brought it to their attention the “Assistant Manager” tried blaming his co-worker, but he didn’t care. So guess the cheap propane isn’t worth dealing with untrained, excuse giving, uncaring employees.

Cant believe they charged me $25 for a few tiny leaves and a little unsw tea on floor when their regular cleaning process (blowing out and hosing down) took care of it. Never going back there and telling my friends!

Its sad i dont know the guys name that helped me with the truck because he was very nice but my biggest problem was the store manager Moe I believe his name was.. What a jerk. His service was terrible and if Im paying cash what business of gis to know how much is in my account i gave him a debit card on file like he asked for. I have done this process with uhaul enough no reason why I shouldnt have walked out with a truck. But we went where we always went and got the job done and I will spread the word that uhaul on 19th and hatcher has poor service to everyone I know!

Keep calling me about a unit I rented I moved out of the unit over 4 months ago and still keep getting calls on it and letters telling me I owe them over $300 for past rent telling me if I don’t pay them that they are going to sell my stuff well u-haul I don’t have anything in there I don’t know what the hell you guys did but I have nothing in you storage facility so please stop sending me nasty letters and calling me about my unit that I moved out of 4 months ago

They allow and house homeless people here in the units that break into your lockers after they watch you load them and after you leave they break into them, worst part they allow this to happen, they walk right by them all day as they do their walks and daily routine not saying anything to them as they sit there watching everybody looking for their next victim.

Open 7 Days a week to sell propane, including New Years Day, but it was twice as expensive as my local Costco. I was glad they were open, but felt like I was overcharged.
