Mmmm frappuccino... excelente service, thank you
I love love love this South la based mini chain! I used to stop by the location next to the edendale/echo park public library on the regs when I lived there, these days I like seeking out the og south la locations when Im out and about. A real la county gem!
I absolutely love their coffee BUT be warned you will wait about 20-25 minutes for a cup of coffee!!!! Sometimes they lock their doors so you can’t order inside and won’t leave note in door.
Now I understand the big fuss about this place. Just delicious. Went with the Tres leches muffin. Only suggestion, please provide a spoon. Lol
I love the Mocha Frappuccinos. They taste really good. The people who work there are always so sweet and polite and they are good and patient listeners. They dont get my order wrong like at other places.
I love Tierra Mia (usually go to La Habra location). However, this one was closed at 11pm tfffHours say it closes at 12am?
Love love love this place! Tierra Mia is always my go-to for coffee (whenever I’m not in a rush)! Their horchata frapé never fails along with their dulce de leche latte with an extra shot. I’m definitely cold over hot drinks so i highly recommend these two popular drinks. Their pastries are always good too! I usually ask for their chocolate croissant warmed up. If you haven’t tried this place I really recommend u do!☕️
I love Tierra Mia so much, everytime I get the opportunity to be in town (mind you thats 1,237 miles away from the nearest Tierra Mia), I stop by. This time, however, I stopped in an hour before close. No big deal right? Wrong. Cant have what Ive been looking forward to for 2 YEARS (thanks COVID) because, We already cleaned. Ok? I ask, What time do you usually stop serving people XXX? It depends.. Maamexcuse me, depends on what??? When ya damn well feel like it?? What kind of inconsistent business model is that?? I have half a mind to call their manager and ask what the ACTUAL corporate time for clean up because boy was I disappointed. I said, You know a sign would be nice.. I ALSO attempted to maybe ask for a different drink which resulted in a ridiculous a** answer, Yea we can make that but only one. ???? If the issue truly was cleaning wouldnt me ordering two hot chocolates just require the re-usage of the same prepping tools???? How does that even make any sense??? Then when I expressed my desire for a sign I got a, Actually I **can** make that drink for you really quick. Ok so which is it????? BUYERS BEWARE!!
First off the lights were broken on drive thru menu. Had to use flashlight just to read it. Secondly, the person taking order was pretty rude. No customer service at all. but will definetly not go to this location again.
Fiat time here, love it!! I ordered Mexican hot chocolate and a mint mojito drink that was out of this world!😋😋😋 good and friendly employees.
Nice and quiet place to relax, good customer service.
Very cool atmosphere, very busy drive-thru awesome & friendly worker. O yeah & they have Wi-Fi
Coco Loco Lattes are my fave! And the tres leches muffins are deliciously moist and balanced. No too sweet.. I only gave 4 stars because the drive thru was crazy long.
Horchata latte...period o and the Mexicano chocolate....double period..
Best coffee Tierra Mia Ive been to. They always prepare my drink perfectly and they always have my pastries in stock. Excellent friendly customer service. 😊👍
Customer service was rude! I tried to place an order to go, in the store. As soon as I opened the door I just heard several employees yelling patio only. What does that mean? Should I just seat down outside and wait for someone to place my order or can I only drink/eat outside. So I asked what Patio Only means. Once again I get about 3 employees yell at me Patio only!. They dont even have a patio. They have a small sidewalk and with a pair of table/chairs. Tierra mia should have a sign that states DO NOT ENTER!. And the employees should be more Clear and polite with better communication. They made me feel awkward! So I just left and went to Star Bucks, went inside placed my order to go, was greeted very nice by a single Starbucks employee and then I was on my way . Starbucks was easy and without the rudeness. I like Tierra Mia coffe, but customer service and communication is bad. I dont like anyone yelling at me, I especially dont like it when its the whole work crew.
Their cheese delight is my favorite. They have drive thru but its kind of hard to pay/ receive the orders thru drive thru if you go there by yourself ...The cashier window is on the passenger side not the driver side.
This location literally sold out of every pastery....like who in the heck is their inventory manager? Restaurant etiquette 101 Never run out of food. The drinks were good, but the dude that took our order was Speedy Gonzales rushing us to order and then when he repeated it sounded like he was mumbling.....smh.
Coffee tastes good. The service is not that great.
The strawberries with whip cream was delicious I would buy it again
Long line but efficient service. Employees were quick, friendly, and enthusiastic. The drinks were only slightly watery because of the 3 cars ahead, but it was nice to pay and have no wait at the window for the drinks. I wanna try the rice n beans frappe. The horchata frappe is my brother’s favorite.
I was initially informed about Tierra Mia by a friend who lives in the area, I must admit, I had zero idea what to expect and even my highest of expectation (if I had them) wouldve been blown out of the water. When I walked in and saw the burlap bags and probat roaster, I knew I had to try a few things in order to give a transparent review.Started with inquiring about their roasting and pastries. Note* All roasting is done in house at this location for 8 hours/day 5 days/week and the pastries are done at their La Habra location daily and sent over.I can genuinely say this was a 4 star shop with 5 star expirence. I tried several things including a traditional cubano (no milk), a pour over, an Americano, and their infamous tres leches muffin, ALL of which were noteworthy. The espresso is bright yet balanced, no overwhelming citrus, but a balance of ripe orange and lemon with a hint of dark chocolate that came through more like milk chocolate because of the raw sugar. (Two points of feedback: the cup was too large and the cane sugar shouldve been added to the portafilter prior to pulling the espresso so that there werent sugar granules at the bottom of the cup). The pourover was delicate with hints of cherry and mocha, very pleasing to sip (Im not sure which region that bean was from but it tasted South American). The Americano was unlike most, it was bright like I expected however the balance wasnt thrown off by the water. Lastly the muffin was delicious, its dense and moist with a molten sweet-milk center, ask them to warm it and enjoy it with a non sweetened hot coffee... you may achieve complete satisfaction.Bottom line is I wanted to try as much as possible seeing that Im not sure when Ill be in the area again. Now that Ive expirenced it, Ill be putting their other locations on my must visit list. Thank you guys, keep up the great work, amazing knowledge, and spot on hospitality.
The wait time here is absolutely ridiculous. Managers need to do something. Everyone getting 1 coffee and somehow drive-thru and inside are always a 30 minute wait time.
Food was excellent. But waiting waiting waiting, waited more than 20 minutes in drive through, the service is not fast so I am giving less rating
The coffee, food items and employees are simply outstanding. Nothing else needs to be said. A great alternative to the big green machine.
This has always been one of my favorite places to go to when I am in the area the mocha Mexican is bomb.
Their Drive thru locations is a bit weird, but good
Hey owner, STOP BEING CHEAP AND HIRE SOME PEOPLE! Waiting 30 minutes for a coffee is ridiculous.
My frist time going to have your it was so good i will be going back soonand happy easter 🐇
It was so good. Yummy. N their line wasnt even long. Pretty fast
I ordered pastries and a chai tea. I really liked what I ordered but I found it to be pricey for a tea and a cupcake. I tried their tres leches & horchata cupcakes. Both really good, but I wouldnt say the horchata cupcake tasted like horchata; Its just cinnamony. My other observation was that I asked for a bag since i had ordered To-go & they said they didnt have any bags. The cashier gave me a brown lunch bag but my things didnt even fit in it.
When in with my big rig to get a coffee when I walked in they said drive thru only. When I walked too the drive thru they refuse me service. What a way to treat customers
Love that it had fast drive thru
We got a Mexican Chocolate Frappe and an Iced Chai Tea Latte. The Mexican Chocolate Frappe is to die for but youve got to work in the Iced Chai Tea Latte, guys. You cant just throw water, ice and milk into a cup, then stick a teabag in there and call it a day.Im sure your other drinks are great too, just work on the chai tea latte please. Thanks for the late night pick me up, stay healthy out there!
Service was good no vegan pastries
I went here three months ago and the guy was yelling saying drive through only even though there were people on the patio and inside. I asked him what about them? He said they were employees.
Great service, delicious quality food and drinks. We love it here. My favorite is the tres leche muffin and an Horchata Latte.
Parking is much better here than at the Southgate location, and theres a good amount of seating area, but I knocked this location down a point because the prep area here is clearly visible to the public, and it looked kind of a mess. The coffee was just as good as Southgate though, so if youre no OCD with cleanliness, this location is fine.
What can I say? Their pastries are deliciously dangerous and their drinks are deliciously satisfying. I personally enjoy the Mazapán ice blended drink, pair that up with a great leches muffin and youve got the best dessert.
Love their accuracy and fast service.
When Im in the area stop by for an horchata frappe and a tres leches muffin. So good.
Sall good
Never had I felt so welcomed by this one employee. She took her time to explain the menu, since it was my 1st time at Tierra Mia. Candy keep up the good job 👏 👍 👌
Drive thru was on passanger side 🤔 who designed that?
You need to hire more people they got people online out there waiting cars are running or wasting gas so I have some respect if you cant hire more people than shut down
On Monday mornings a cafecito cubano its all i need.
It was so very weird to be back at this location as it was where I spent most of my chilldhood in this area. This place used to be Kentucky Fried Chicken. I remember spending a lot of time here. It has been over 20 years since I had walked in this area. This time I ordered rice and bean frappe instead of my usual favorite Horchata frappe. Omgosh they were so good!!!By the way, Im very happy that Tierra Mia Coffee has established more locations now. But they still need to establish shops further like Azusa, West Covina, and Pomona, etc. Starbucks are so overrated!
Didnt ho just passed thru
The coffee is great, but expensive for half the size of Starbucks. They are really slow, thats why the line is always long. It helped a little that they moved the intercom over. Try their guava dessert
Love their coffee except hate that they do not offer almond milk for there blended drinks ( sad face)
Delicious coffe! Grrat service!Thank you Tierra Mia 🙂
The best are chocolate mocca frapp
Good love the Mexican chocolate
Super good! My order is never wrong and my coffee is always hot no matter how long the wait is. My favorite coffee shop for sure :)
Good 👍service 👏
Good stuff, customer service could be better.
Great coffee opens late !
They do not take Apple Pay. Which is inconvenient to the people who don’t deal with cash.
They have good drinks and pastries here
Always a great experience at Tierra Mia! Horchata latte is a must.
Delicious coffee. Very nice people that work there
Its so good
I come almost every morning in a hurry to the drive thru and my order is always taken care of by a short girl (I didn’t get her name). She never messes it up and even remembers what I order when I’m still half awake half asleep. Definitely recommend coming here for your morning coffee and the great service 🥱👌💯
I had the Cubano con letche and was very pleased. According to another guest the Americano is better than the drip coffee.
Love their coffee and they have excellent service
Great coffee--usually cafe cubano!
A taste and craft with quality and flavors to remind, that mornings are not the perfect time to indulge in Tierra mia, Is now yours.Te va bonito.
Really bad experience. We were on our way to the cemetery to meet family. So we decided to order a coffee mobil to take to everyone. The wait was more than 30 min not included rhe wait on the drive thru.
This place is delicious, they have great pastries and different but delectable specialty coffees. However, the most popular pastries run out fast. Good luck.
Great service😀
Really good coffe.. But wy dont make orders inside if the door is open..?
I got the mocha Mexicano and it never lets me down. When ever I need that extra zip, Its my go to coffee drink. And by the way its delicious. With its robust premium coffee Mexican chocolate with hints of cinnamon. Its a must you try this drink.
If you are looking for a satisfying coffee, visit here for their Cafe Cubano.delicious.
Horchata frappe is really yummy, my boyfriend loves this place because get hot coffee in cup
Open the inside for take out too not just the drive thru - line of cars is ridiculous.
Nice friendly good customer service, delicious coffee and pastries
Peanut mazapan frappe 😋 🤤
Awesome coffee
Charming little place for good coffee, tea and pastries. I was there on late on a Sunday afternoon and was surprised at how busy they were. Staff is friendly and efficient. They also have a drive-thru for Java on the go!
